5158 | The article focusses on the means of expression of modality of potentiality and wish in Gothic and a tendency that developed in its system has been determined. The tendency shows the function of expressing the meanings of possibility, necessity and wish from grammatical means, i. e. moods, transferring to the lexical ones, i. e. verbs. To explain this process, the “weakest” parts of the modal subsystem of Gothic are being established. They are involved in changes: these are optative, imperative and preterite-present verbs. The analysis of various “shades” of meaning of potentiality and wish, verbalised by the contemporary lexical and grammatical means allowed to establish semantic relations of variability between grammatical and lexical means as well as within the former ones thus it allowed to define the status of preterit-present verbs involved in the process of appearing modal verbs in Gothic as means expressing the internal modality. 5159 | The article discusses the characteristics of cognitive mechanisms of semantic transformations in phraseological units (FU): literal interpretation, dual actualization and reinterpretation. The author analyses the particular examples of semantic transformations in FU found in the letters. The article explores general principles in functioning of cognitive mechanisms of semantic transformations in FU and their distinctive features. In the analysis of the contextual use of transformed phraseological units there are used the data of extra-linguistic category contained in the comments to letters, reference literature. The author believes that literal interpretation of FU is provided by the associative relationship with the component composition of each of FU. If cognitive mechanisms ensuring this technique does not work, it does not affect the decoding of meaning. During dual actualization lexical meanings of components of FU and phraseological meanings operate simultaneously, layering. The author focuses on the “dual” meaning of such units, achievable by this technique, and relies on the effect of this semantic technique. If the mechanism fails, some part of the coded by this method information becomes lost for recipient. Reinterpretation gives FU an occasional sense. The author of the article proves that encoding can be successful if the semantic content of FU is explained by means of surrounding context. 5162 | Verbs of movement in the Selkup dialects denote different ways of movement, its nature, general orientation of the movement against the speaker, environment in which this movement occurs, and a number of additional components. Most Selkup verbs of movement are monosemantic, about 60% of meanings does not repeat, i. e. they are peculiar to one verb of movement. In the analyzed group of verbs of movement the synonymic relations are poorly developed in comparison with Russian in spite of the fact that among the Selkup verbs of movement the synonymy is more developed than in other lexico-semantic groups of the studied language. Selkup verbs of movement are divided into two groups: verbs of undirected movement and verbs of directed movement. Lexico-semantic group of verbs of undirected movement has the core which is formed by the most frequent polysemantic verbs kwangu, čāǯįgu and qənqo, and also periphery which is formed by the verbs of undirected movement including such lexico-semantic components as ‘environment in which the movement occurs’, ‘way of the movement’, ‘speed of the movement’, «figurative characteristic of the movement» in their meanings. The orientation sign of verbs of directed movement receives a specification. It is lexically expressed in specification of the direction by serial postpositions; grammatically it is specified by the formants coinciding with suffixes of the inflectional system. The group of verbs of directed movement includes verbs of absolute direction and verbs of relative direction. Verbs of absolute direction include verbs of vector movement in vertical direction and verbs of vector movement in horizontal direction. The Selkup verbs of movement are characterized by denoting the general movement direction (approach or removal) and orientation in space. 5163 | Introduction. The theme of Memory is a key one in culture and thus it is studied in history, sociology, semiotics, philology and other domains. The “Mnemonic Code” retains its significance throughout the entire career of M. I. Tsvetaeva as a poet. Material and methods. The aim of the article is to study semantic and stylistic features of the word-image “Memory” in M. Tsvetaeva’s lyrics of 1920 through the analysis of the lexical structure of the corresponding poetic text. The semantic-stylistic analysis is based on the theories of the imaginative speech substantiation by M. N. Kozhina and of the text paradigms by N. S. Bolotnova. Referring to both linguistic and textual paradigms goes within the textocentric approach in modern linguistics and the linguistic analysis of the literary text itself. Results and discussion. Semantic lexical paradigms present associative pairs and fragments of associative series of words and superword units within the lexical system of the text, already existing in the linguistic consciousness of the reader on the one hand and formed by the text on the other hand. Analysis of M. Tsvetaeva’s poems revealed semantic lexical paradigms based on semic recurrence, isotopic chains actualized due to such type of foregrounding as repetition, and semantic lexical paradigms based on semantic contrast. In 1920 M. Tsvetaeva wrote 4 poems containing the word-image “Memory”: “Good Night to a Stranger in a New Cell...”, “Psyche” (“Punch and Midnight ...”), “Running from Home…”, “How They Drink in Long Drinks... ” (Excerpt). They are written at the end of the third period of the poet’s creative work, they precede the new features of her idiostyle. The word-image “Memory” is associated with the main themes of M. Tsvetaeva’s works – the lost world, creativity, love. In the verbal associative network of M. Tsvetaeva’s poems of 1920, the word “memory” is accompanied by the usual lexical representatives “remember”, “forget”, phraseological unit meaning “without memory”. It actualizes in the locative “in memory”, in the spoken syntactic structure “what a memory” and it is accompanied by the epithets and descriptive adjectives as “bad”, “female”, “all”. Conclusion. The contextual meaning of the word-image “Memory” is based on a rich usual background and is explained in M. Tsvetaeva’s lyrics of 1920 through the themes of the vanishing old world, creativity and love. This further develops the trends outlined in the earlier poems, but they are expressed more clearly, expressively and deeply. Keywords: cultural memory, M. I. Tsvetaeva’s idiostyle, M. I. 5173 | Today one of the topical problems of the state level remains the placing of orphans and children left without parental care in a new family. The Institute of foster parenting needs to be explored from the perspective of interdisciplinary approach. In this regard the issue of psychological and pedagogical readiness of adoptive parents to a new member in foster families (on the example of Lipetsk region) is being considered. Presents the analysis of the results of numerous domestic and foreign studies, which define «foster family» and identifies the reasons that prevent parents from accepting a child in their family. Special attention is paid to the problem in the Lipetsk region: the indicated number of government programs, activities and projects aimed at strengthening the family institution and childhood, as well as providing the family placement of children-orphans and children left without parental care. Gives the definition of the notion «psychopedagogical readiness of the host parents» as a combination of their personal qualities: the desire to increase the level of psychological and pedagogical knowledge in the field of education, age and individual characteristics of children; realization of the potential to create favorable conditions for the adequate development of foster children; development of skills to show love, affection and care needed by people at any age; possession of expertise, i.e., competent upbringing of the child (children). Describes the results of experimental work with prospective parents - prospective adoptive parents, guardians, trustees. It is concluded that in the Lipetsk region have been created favorable conditions for the preparation of the host parents to a new member of their family. 5174 | The paper analyzes the system of personages in the first and the most widely known novella of Nina Berberova, as it reflects her idea on a multitude of ways of life building in emigration. The author holds, that the system of personages in the novella is based upon the principle of binary oppositions, namely, creative – uncreative, adapted – misfit, comprehensive – incomprehensive person. The attitude towards creative side determines the choice of the route of life on behalf of a personage. However, Symbolist concept of life as a work of art is reconsidered by Berberova in accordance with her idea of self-determination of Russian émigrés, and so adaptability to changing conditions of life is also held by Berberova in high esteem, in contrast to the common notion of beggar artists. The personages embody different strategies applied to survive their situation in emigration. Giving precedence to the ways of creative persons (Travina and Ber), Berberova gives her critical account of other survival strategies. Cooperation with the Communist regime is shown as materially advantageous, but amoral (Senya); keeping everything as it was in Old Russia is shown as a dead-end (Pavel Fyodorovich, guests of the Travin’s house in Paris). The path of Sonya the Accompanist, devoid of creativity and human understanding, lacking self-determination, full of hatred and envy, is shown as self-destructive. Keywords: Russian émigré literature, short prose of Nina Berberova, system of personages | 899
5175 | The issue of increasing the efficiency of conducting classes in computer classes is considered, thanks to the improvement of the student’s interaction with the teacher. One of the solutions to this problem is the active use of the program “Remmina Remote Desktop” of the Linux operating system. Especially actual application of Remmina program in the absence of a video projector in the class. Describes the features and step-by-step instructions for using the Remmina program in computer classes. Its use is recommended for training in computer classes of educational institutions of general, secondary or higher education. The main advantages of the program: the opportunity to observe the actions of the teacher on his desktop in the conference mode and return, if desired, to his own work. With the help of the Remmina program, the teacher has the opportunity to constantly or occasionally display the desktop of his monitor at workplaces of students. The function of the teacher is reduced to the voice explanations of the material shown. The experience of using the Remote Desktop Remmina program allows you to recommend its application for training in computer classes of educational institutions of general, secondary or higher education for the following reasons: • Remmina program activates interaction between the teacher and students and can be considered as an alternative to using a media projector with a screen. • The reliability of training in the event of a technical failure of available facilities (interactive whiteboard, media projector and others) increases. • The Remmina program can also be considered as a supplement to existing tools. The teacher, at the same time, has the possibility of a wider choice of means when submitting material in order to increase the students’ motivation for learning. • The application of the program does not require adjustments in the curricula of classes. 5176 | Introduction. This article considers lexical and semantic neologisms in socio-political texts and their semantic subgroups. The theoretical and practical significance of the research is presented. The purpose of the article is to analyze neologisms in socio-political texts, divide them into groups and subgroups; define the most widespread methods of neologisms formation in English. Material and methods. The research material was taken from American and British magazines and information sites: CNN, The Guardian, the Daily Beast, the Washington Post, NBC News, Chicago Tribune, The Independent, Forbes, the Sun, Spectator, NY Post. Results and discussion. The current types of neologisms in modern socio-political texts (lexical and semantic neologisms) are defined. Lexical neologisms are completely new words that were not used earlier in the language. Semantic neologisms are those words that previously existed in the language, but which have acquired new semes. They serve various stylistic purposes and their use depends on the functional style of speech and context. The analysis of practical examples reflects the relationship between these two types of neologisms. The most frequent group is lexical neologisms. Of the 60 identified neologisms, 76.6 % (46 lexical units) belonged to the first group and only 23.4% (14 lexical units) to the second. In the sphere of socio-political texts, 4 semantic subgroups are identified, in which lexical neologisms are most often used. The subgroup “Political relations” includes 16 neologisms, “Public relations” – 15, “Personal life and human life” – 12 neologisms, and the smallest number of neologisms found belongs to the group “Internet and technology” – only 3 analyzed neologisms. Neologisms of the second group can be attributed to gender neologisms, that is, reflecting the increased interest in gender studies, feminism and gender equality in recent years. Conclusion. Lexical neologisms predominate over semantic ones in socio-political texts (76.6 and 23.4 %, respectively), however, semantic neologisms predominate in socio-political texts. The main method of forming lexical neologisms is productive word-formation models (prefixal and suffixal methods). Lexical neologisms in the analyzed texts can be divided into 4 subgroups: “Political relations”, “Social relations/ ecology”, “Internet and technology”, “Personal life and everyday life of a person”. Most often, neologisms are used in the first and second subgroups. Keywords: neologism, socio-political text, classification, method of formation of neologisms, lexical and semantic neologisms | 899
5177 | The study is carried out within the framework of functional grammar and is aimed at studying Russian comparative-assimilative adverbs of military themes. The aim of the work is to conduct a comprehensive study of the functioning of comparative-assimilative adverbs of military themes taking into account explicit and implicit semantic features, to determine the composition of this thematic group and to identify word-formation features and types of combinability. The research is based on the works of Russian linguists treating comparative adverbs from different points of view and applying different scientific approaches, as well as on the works of linguists studying lexical-semantic groups of words of the “war” thematic group. The illustrative material was taken from statements from the National Corpus of the Russian language and from a free selection from the Internet. The work was carried out within the framework of A.V. Bondarko’s theory of categorical situations of functional grammar, and elements of contextual and component analysis were also applied. During the research, the composition of this group of adverbs was distributed into semantic subgroups describing the behaviour of persons belonging to different types and divisions of troops, conditions of military service, military ranks and positions. In dividing into word-formation types, a special type with a qualitative-substantive connotation was distinguished, with the meaning of places of location and dislocation of military operations. The division of military adverbs into compatibility types was carried out taking into account the connective, adversative, qualifying and explanatory relations with the main word and as the result both general (according to appearance and speech, character and behaviour, situation and living conditions) and individual semes were identified. As a result of the study, it was found that to represent the behaviour of persons, objects and phenomena of military subjects, comparative-suggestive adverbs actualize in the minds of native speakers either a well-known image in the form of background knowledge, or one of the nuclear or peripheral features. Keywords: comparative and assimilative adverbs, military thematic group, compatibility, functional grammar | 899

5191 | Studies in the field of pedagogy, psychology and techniques of teaching mathematics show that the success of future mathematics teachers largely depends on how much they possess the psychological and pedagogical knowledge of the patterns of students’ mental (intellectual and personal) development they possess and the ability to apply this knowledge. In particular, knowledge of the basics of intellectual upbringing of students can help in solving the problems of modern school mathematics education. Such a problem statement of vocational training of future mathematics teachers involves the organization of training, in which psychological, didactic, methodological and mathematical knowledge is integrated, that is a psychodynamic approach to learning is implemented. The Department of Mathematics, Theory and Methods of Teaching Mathematics of Tomsk State Pedagogical University developed one of the ways for implementing this approach. It includes the development and integration of such disciplines as “Methods of Teaching Mathematics”, “Intellectual Upbringing”, “Modern Models for Teaching Mathematics”, “Developing Technologies in Teaching Mathematics” and other. The integration is carried out through the implementation of the following psychological and pedagogical requirements: the knowledge of conceptual theories of training, foundations of intellectual upbringing in particular; formation of a reflexive experience; formation of text competence; the development of an open cognitive position. The main educational strategy is the project activity strategy through case studies, as well as the extensive use of contextual learning. To implement this strategy, various types of learning activities are used that update the psychological, pedagogical and methodological knowledge of the future mathematics teachers about certain cognitive processes, create conditions for students to learn to identify and compare texts with certain psychodidactic functions, to create the author’s text in accordance with the psychological and pedagogical requirements for modern education. 5192 | Introduction. The article describes three main models for constructing bilingual puns – multilingual formations in which wordplay is performed on multilingual material. We also present the results of a linguistic study of bilingual puns. The purpose of the study is to establish the role of an auxiliary verbal or iconic indicator of another language or an attribute of a “foreign” culture, as well as to define the language models that describe the most understandable bilingual puns for Russian respondents. Material and methods. The study was conducted on the material of 416 bilingual puns selected on the Internet using a targeted sampling method (9gag.com – 180, Reddit – 185, “Vkontakte” – 51) from 2016 to 2019. To interpret the meanings of interlanguage puns, the descriptive method and the method of semantic analysis were used. To assess the perception of bilingual puns, a linguistic experiment was conducted that included two stages: translation and interpretation of the meanings of foreign words in 20 bilingual puns. The experiment was attended by 200 students of linguistic specialties of the Kemerovo State University and the Novokuznetsk branch of the Kemerovo State University, Siberian Federal University and Altai State Pedagogical University. Results and discussion. An explicator within a bilingual pun contributes to its correct perception. The anticipatory model turned out to be the easiest for Russian respondents to understand, with English-based bilingual puns described by this model were correctly identified in 45.2 % of cases. Puns represented by the neological model are less obvious, especially in the absence of an explicator (25 %). Puns described by the implicit model are also perceived by respondents, but in significantly fewer cases (19 %). Among Russian-based bilingual puns, the most understandable are the bilingual puns represented by the anticipation model – 51.75 %, followed by puns that can be attributed to the neological and implicit models – 50.6 and 15 % respectively. Conclusion. An iconic or verbal explicator is important, but not critical, for understanding bilingual puns. However, when borrowed elements (complete words or their fragments) are not explicitly expressed in puns, an explicator is necessary for successful perception of the pun. The anticipatory and neological model describe the most understandable interlingual puns. Keywords: bilingual pun, wordplay, Internet-memes, polylingualism | 898

Professor Gelvin’s article situates Al-Qaeda and similar jihad movements within the category of anarchism. They long time have been associated with bombs and outrage and acts of violence that it causes desire to lead, to draw parallels between the anarchists of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and contemporary terrorists. Other researchers cautiously concern to such point of view. They criticize some positions, address to historic facts. A task of the author of article became the analysis and criticism of weaknesses of this concept. The author considers that this predictive judgment has been formed prematurely. 5198 | Here we discuss Fradkin-Vasiliev approach for investigation higher spin elds interactions. Initially this approach was developed for investigation of massless elds interactions, but using frame-like gauge invariant formalism for massive higher spin elds it can be straightforwardly applied to any combination of massive and/or massless elds. After brief description of such approach we consider the simplest possible examples - self-interaction and gravitational interaction for partially massless spin 2 eld.
