| 3251 | The availability of historical sources is the basis that significantly increases the objectivity of the study. Such historical documents are significant when studying political parties within the framework of modern Russian history, in order to avoid excessive politicization of judgments. Studying of history of creation and functioning of «parties in power» is directly connected with involvement in scientific turnover of regulations, data of archival funds, periodicals, propaganda materials and others. It allows to expand the range of information on this problem, creates conditions for carrying out the system analysis of activities of data of the organizations in the specific region. Analyzing conditions of the source base of work, it is necessary to state that insufficient representation in archival funds of the documents which are handed over by political parties and the politized movements became the main problem of the use of sources. Nevertheless, it would be desirable to note that this lack was met by the complex use of other groups of sources, at the same time the basis of source base owing to specifics of an object and an object of research was constituted by periodicals materials. In general the provided source base is sufficient for the solution of effective objectives and tasks both in quantitative sense, and in high-quality representativeness of the provided materials. | 3252 | The paper is devoted to the analysis of the linguo-cognitive and cultural characteristics of the opposition representation “intelligence-silliness” on the basis of the Russian and English folk tales. The underlying premises worked out in the framework of the linguistic conceptology serve as the theoretical foundation of the research. The linguistic conceptology is viewed as a branch of modern cognitive linguistics and it often focuses on the comparative analysis of these or those concepts. Folk talk as a genre reflects the reality and interprets it from a certain perspective. Moreover, folk tale can be considered as an axiogenic event which in its turn functions as a kind of an axiogenic situation. The opposition “intelligence-silliness” is analysed from the point of view of lexical explication, gender peculiarities and social status of the tales’ heroes. The conclusion is made that the English and Russian languages differ in terms of estimating and presenting intelligent and silly people. But at the same time intelligence in both linguo-cultures is associated with mental power, common sense, experience. Silliness always means lack of innate intelligence, wit and is even equal to greediness and laziness. The perspectives of the study are outlined. The representation of the opposition “intelligence- silliness” may be studied in the common language consciousness. | 3253 | Introduction. The article presents the relevance of forming a meta-subject matter that is implemented on an intersubject content in the system of basic General education and is currently necessary for society in high-tech industries of any profile. The article shows the need for a modern school teacher of mathematics, physics and technology to develop competencies related to the basics of engineering, which are mandatory for graphic culture and graphic literacy. The purpose of research is to identify intersubject lines between mathematical, natural science and technical academic disciplines that contribute to the formation of students‘ competencies related to engineering, such as graphic culture and graphic literacy. Material and methods. The article is based on the authors generalization of the experience of teaching a number of engineering courses for future technology teachers directly related to their future professional activities. The analysis of normative documents on the research problem is carried out. Results and discussion. The analysis of normative documents regulating the educational process of future teachers of technology has shown that the content of the theoretical material, as well as the practical part of such fundamental disciplines as physics and mathematics, does not take into account the applied aspects of this direction of training students of pedagogical universities. In modern conditions of the introduction of specialized engineering classes in schools, in addition to the professional competence of the teacher, the teacher of mathematical, natural science and technological cycles of disciplines must have competencies related to engineering, such as graphic culture and graphic literacy. To form competencies related to graphic literacy, the module «Graphics / Engineering design» was introduced into the process of training technology teachers within the professional cycle as a discipline of choice, which included a block of such disciplines as drawing, engineering graphics, elements of analytical geometry, computer graphics. Thus, it became possible to create inter-subject lines between the academic disciplines of mathematical, natural science and technological cycles of disciplines, which in turn will further form the meta-subject of the entire educational process of future technology teachers. Conclusion. The formed meta-subject of the educational environment for students of pedagogical University studying in the direction of training 44.03.01 Pedagogical education, directions (profiles) of mathematics, physics, technology will allow teachers to consistently form and develop spatial thinking, imagination, creative abilities, observation of students necessary in their further professional activities. | 3254 | Introduction. The purpose of this research is to develop the concept of a dictionary of gender-marked vocabulary, which reflects the concepts of male and female in the Middle Ob region dialects. The study is novel in that it shows the creation of a dictionary that reflects the male and female spheres in their complex sociocultural interaction and regional specifics for the first time in Russian lexicography. The dictionary includes dynamic parameters of gender vocabulary, and as a result their informative capabilities are expanded. The applicabiliry of creating a dictionary of gender-marked vocabulary is coming from the nesessity to form a source study base for studying Siberia as a structure of steadfast development. At the same time, it can be used to identify factors contributing to the preservation of the traditional Siberian culture. Material and methods. Autobiographical texts recorded from 1946 to 2016 on the territory of century-old traditional dialects distribution in the Middle Ob region are used as the source. The study is carried out using the lexicographical method, the advantage of which is that one can study in detail the objects of lexicography, as well as their features and functioning in the language. Results and discussion. The dictionary includes gender lexical units that are part of the gender conceptual sphere. The dictionary includes both direct nominations of concepts (the core of the nominative field) and the nominations of individual cognitive features of a concept (periphery of the nominative field). The dictionary is formed according to the thematic principle and contains the following groups of gender-marked vocabulary: general denomination of a person depending on gender; nominations indicating age and marital status; units reflecting family hierarchy status; denominations representing biological features that are specific only to a certain gender individuals; nominations reflecting traits of character, appearance; ones that call men and women by professional activities, labor processes; ceremonial words; nominations, characterizing the female and male spheres. The structure of the dictionary entry consists of three main parts: headword part, interpretation part of the capital lexical unit, illustrative part. Conclusion. The dictionary supplements the multifaceted description of the Middle Ob dialects. At the same time, it contributes to the new aspects’ identification in gender analysis. The concept of the dictionary is based on the theoretical provisions of gender dialectology and dialect lexicography. All components of a dictionary entry (headword, definitions, notes, illustrative material) reflect the richness of folk speech, testify to a more fragmented division of the world, carried out on other grounds than in the literary language, and reflecting the specifics of rural society and traditional culture. | 3255 | Introduction. The difference between higher education and school education, which consists in a different content and conditions of the organization of the educational process, in the emergence of new social relations, often becomes the reason that the first-year student is not ready for the new conditions of study at the university. Along with psychological and physiological adaptation, researchers single out the academic (educational) adaptation of students, which can cause poor academic performance in various university disciplines. At the same time, we note that the initial (basic) training of students is practically not taken into account at the beginning of their studies at the university: the university program is not designed for very weak students. As a result, first-year students “adapt” to the peculiarities of educational activities (to new content, methods and means), but students also influence the educational environment of the university: the teacher has to look for new methodological approaches and more advanced teaching methods. As a result, adaptive training has emerged in universities, which is designed to eliminate the main reason for the poor academic performance of students due to the low initial preparation of the applicant. Successful integration into the core curriculum and successful mastery of the curriculum of the university discipline in the future is the main criterion for the effectiveness of adaptive learning. The purpose of the article is to identify and describe the nature of the phenomenon of “adaptation learning”, to eliminate ambiguity of this term, and to present its proper scientifically grounded definition. The materials and methods of the study are the method of content analysis of definitions, analysis and comparison, classification, formal-logical method of concept definition. Results and discussion. A brief description of the development of the didactic approach to the concept of “adaptation” is presented. An analysis of the definitions of adaptation education available in the literature (adaptation training, adaptation workshop, adaptation course, adaptation work) and concepts related, but not identical to it (corrective training, corrective course, alignment course) are made. The conducted content analysis revealed the diversity of researchers’ approaches to the issue and emphasizes the uncertainty and inconsistency. In this regard, the need for a definition that will adequately reflect the essential characteristics of the issue has been identified. The result of formal-logical definition: adaptation learning is the training of specialists having initially different level of competence formation (from zero to low), in order to achieve in a certain period of time the required basic level (minimum necessary) for further training. Thus, basically, it can be concluded that the study contributes to the development of the phenomenon. The identification of differentiating features made it possible to separate the concept of “adaptation learning” from similar concepts. The constructed definition can become the basis for determining the content and developing programs of adaptation courses in different disciplines studied in universities. Keywords: adaptation learning, adaptation to higher education, initial training of students, formal-logical method, training of highly qualified specialists | 1948 | |||||

| 3282 | Despite the disposition of the theater of the absurd for linguistic minimalism, the plays of the British theater of the absurd possess a great phonographic potential due to the generic features of the dramatic text. The article explains the paradoxical ability of the dramatic text to transfer performer’s phonostylistic means through the author’s remarks, special syntactic constructions and graphic tools. The identified phonostylistic and graphic means in the absurdist plays by Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter and Tom Stoppard do not only help to convey the authors’ ideas, but also conform to the philosophy of the absurd. The most represented means is the instrumentation based on different sound repetitions (alliteration, consonance, rhyme) with the use of sound symbolism. The phonographic analysis of the texts also revealed some cases of onomatopoeia and paronomasia. Rhythm has a special stylistic meaning in the drama. It is inherent in both theatrical actions and speech, which is reflected in the dramatic text. The described examples confirm the stylistic markedness of the plays of the theater of the absurd which can be an object of further research in linguistics and stylistics. | 3299 | The paper focuses on the images of Anglo-Saxon queens in the works of biographers and church writers of the 8th – 9th century England. Based on Asser’s Life of King Alfred, Life of St Wilfred of York and Ecclesiastical history of the English people it is shown that historical portraits of Anglo-Saxon rulers’ wives have their specificity depending on the genre, the author’s objectives and attitudes to women in power. Early Anglo-Saxon queens enjoyed high social status, participated in worldly and church affairs. Precedents of rivalry between queens and people within the king’s circle are discussed. Tradition and personal support of the king are identified as the sources of queen’s power. Queens influenced the rulers’ policy by means of their council, that Christian writers associated with the Fall. Not coincidentally, in the early Anglo-Saxon narrative evil queens always use their husbands, intriguing against nobles and hierarchs. Nevertheless, both secular and clerical attitudes to queens’ power were rather complex. On the one hand, their political activity caused concern. On the other, queens patronizing the Church were held in high esteem by ecclesiastical authors. Downgrading of the king’s wife’s position in the 9th century Wessex should be considered a matter of historical accident rather than conformity to historical patterns. In this regard, to search for new opportunities and develop educational-methodical support for improving the quality of graphics education of students in high school is of high interest now. The aim of this study is to identify the general level of students’ graphical culture, importance of the graphical training course in the secondary school, as well as to identify ways and means to enhance the graphic education of the students. Material and methods. Research materials, used in this study, are the data collected from the literature on graphic culture and graphical preparation of students, and education process in secondary school. In this study we used general scientific analysis methods: synthesis, comparison, surveillance and questioning, interrogating and performing graphic assignments by the students. Results and discussion. We defined the term “graphic culture” in the context of this study, determined the structural components of graphic culture, the stages of graphic education of high school students, examined the ways and means of improving the quality of graphic preparation, in particular, by studying the “Technology” course. We have provided detailed information on pedagogical and psychological counseling and the implementation of graphic assignments by students. Conclusion. We have proposed the following strategies for better accumulation of graphic knowledge and skills during secondary school studying. First, to use the structural-logical schema when studying different subjects. Second, to include the graphic disciplines to the list of complementary courses, elective courses, and as additional education of secondary school students. Third, to pay a special attention to graphic education at the classes on technology, purposefully forming students’ knowledge and skills in reading and making of drawings, sketches, diagrams, as well as of a general aesthetic perception of the objects of surrounding world.
