| 3310 | The article deals with the question of representation of the interdiscourse category in the scientific medical discourse. It provides the differentiation of the notions “intertextuality” and “interdiscursivity” and gives parameters of their differentiation. In case of intertextuality the sings are linguistic units that indicate the interaction between texts, in case of interdiscursivity the indications are the elements of conceptual and linguistic plan of the discourse. The article shows the interaction between intertextuality and interdiscursivity in the scientific medical discourse. Intertextuality depends on interdiscursivity and marks it with the help of different linguistic means. In the scientific medical discourse marked and unmarked forms represent interdiscursive connections. The article presents the examples of realization of interdiscursive connections in the scientific medical discourse. It concludes that interdiscursivity in the scientific medical discourse is a cognitive and a discursive phenomenon. The cognitive side of interdiscursivity reflects the possibility to gain and organize medical knowledge; the discursive one is connected with the extension of knowledge in the text that allows considering the acquired knowledge and experience. The category of interdiscourse is actualized by the inclusion of fragments of knowledge in this type of text that have textual and nontextual etymology and which relate to other discourses. | 3312 | Introduction. Considering the problems with graphical training and formation of graphical culture of secondary school students is timely and relevant due to reducing the number of teaching hours devoted to the study of graphic disciplines. In this regard, to search for new opportunities and develop educational-methodical support for improving the quality of graphics education of students in high school is of high interest now. The aim of this study is to identify the general level of students’ graphical culture, importance of the graphical training course in the secondary school, as well as to identify ways and means to enhance the graphic education of the students. Material and methods. Research materials, used in this study, are the data collected from the literature on graphic culture and graphical preparation of students, and education process in secondary school. In this study we used general scientific analysis methods: synthesis, comparison, surveillance and questioning, interrogating and performing graphic assignments by the students. Results and discussion. We defined the term “graphic culture” in the context of this study, determined the structural components of graphic culture, the stages of graphic education of high school students, examined the ways and means of improving the quality of graphic preparation, in particular, by studying the “Technology” course. We have provided detailed information on pedagogical and psychological counseling and the implementation of graphic assignments by students. Conclusion. We have proposed the following strategies for better accumulation of graphic knowledge and skills during secondary school studying. First, to use the structural-logical schema when studying different subjects. Second, to include the graphic disciplines to the list of complementary courses, elective courses, and as additional education of secondary school students. Third, to pay a special attention to graphic education at the classes on technology, purposefully forming students’ knowledge and skills in reading and making of drawings, sketches, diagrams, as well as of a general aesthetic perception of the objects of surrounding world. | 3313 | Introduction. The article presents the relevance of forming a meta-subject matter that is implemented on an intersubject content in the system of basic General education and is currently necessary for society in high-tech industries of any profile. The article shows the need for a modern school teacher of mathematics, physics and technology to develop competencies related to the basics of engineering, which are mandatory for graphic culture and graphic literacy. The purpose of research is to identify intersubject lines between mathematical, natural science and technical academic disciplines that contribute to the formation of students‘ competencies related to engineering, such as graphic culture and graphic literacy. Material and methods. The article is based on the authors generalization of the experience of teaching a number of engineering courses for future technology teachers directly related to their future professional activities. The analysis of normative documents on the research problem is carried out. Results and discussion. The analysis of normative documents regulating the educational process of future teachers of technology has shown that the content of the theoretical material, as well as the practical part of such fundamental disciplines as physics and mathematics, does not take into account the applied aspects of this direction of training students of pedagogical universities. In modern conditions of the introduction of specialized engineering classes in schools, in addition to the professional competence of the teacher, the teacher of mathematical, natural science and technological cycles of disciplines must have competencies related to engineering, such as graphic culture and graphic literacy. To form competencies related to graphic literacy, the module «Graphics / Engineering design» was introduced into the process of training technology teachers within the professional cycle as a discipline of choice, which included a block of such disciplines as drawing, engineering graphics, elements of analytical geometry, computer graphics. Thus, it became possible to create inter-subject lines between the academic disciplines of mathematical, natural science and technological cycles of disciplines, which in turn will further form the meta-subject of the entire educational process of future technology teachers. Conclusion. The formed meta-subject of the educational environment for students of pedagogical University studying in the direction of training 44.03.01 Pedagogical education, directions (profiles) of mathematics, physics, technology will allow teachers to consistently form and develop spatial thinking, imagination, creative abilities, observation of students necessary in their further professional activities. | 3333 | Teaching of mathematical disciplines in Russian universities has traditionally been based largely on the classic teaching methods (explanatory-illustrative and instructive-reproductive). Of course, the design of programmed instruction, as well as development of simulated and game methods of training is a very time consuming process. However, these training methods can dramatically improve the cognitive interest of students, their responsibility for the result, contribute to the development of skills both individual and collective work. (When using the programmed instruction the pace of learning is individual; in conducting the educational and business games we can develop the ability to act as a team). The effectiveness of innovative interactive methods (programmed instruction, “mathematical fights” and business games) requires not only logical basis, but also the statistical verification. The article studies the effect of the application of some interactive teaching technologies at the results of the students mastering the course of probability theory and mathematical statistics. The pedagogical experiment contained a comparison between one control group and two experimental groups in which these learning technologies were applied. The analysis was based on statistical hypothesis testing using t-test and Wilcoxon criterion. A marked increase in the knowledge quality associated with the use of innovative teaching methods and identified through the use of module-rating system, finds its confirmation in the results of the interim tests and final exam grade. The average exam score (on a 5-point scale) was as follows: 3.3 points for the control group and 3.45–3.6 points for the experimental groups. | 3334 | The article discusses the establishment of students’ graduation projects based on real industry tasks in the Far Eastern State Transport University (former Khabarovsk State Railway University) as a progressive form of students’ scientific research at the end of the 50–80-ies of XX century. At first real-life graduation projects were introduced into educational process at the chair of “Railway operation” in 1958. The article presents a list of important students graduation projects of 1958–1960 completed for the Far Eastern Railway and the city of Khabarovsk. In addition, the stages of students’ the thesis design are analyzed, starting from information gathering to the presentation of projects to the examination committee. Also, the characteristics of real-life graduation projects are discussed such as the passthrough design (real and meaningful tasks of the industry were selected in the third year of the study, allowing students to do research in the format of coursework), group projects (the projects that require complex calculations were entrusted to a group of students), the use of computers for accurate design calculations. The author proves that students’ real-life projects were the most time-consuming form of research work as they were executed on the basis of real data; they were relevant, responsive and reliable and solved the tasks of the Far Eastern Railway and industries; they allowed students to be actively involved in the projects of industries, to adapt faster at the future workplace and have better career prospects. | 3335 | The notion of in-equivalent vocabulary stands for culture-specific lexicon units in a source text considered impossible to render into target language without more or less significant losses. Although, there exist a number of translation techniques aimed to facilitate understanding of such words for foreign readers. Each of such techniques can be correlated to two opposite strategies of domestication and foreignization, thus enabling to measure the degree to which translators managed to recreate culture-specific component in translated text. The purpose of the research is to analyze the specific features of in-equivalent lexicon units translation in four English versions of “The Golden Calf” novel by I. Ilf and E. Petrov. The research is based on 320 in-equivalent lexicon units in five text sources: 1) И. Ильф, Е. Петров. «Золотой телёнок» (1931), 2) The Little Golden Calf (transl. Ch. Malamut, 1932), 3) The Complete Adventures of Ostap Bender (transl. J.H.C. Richardson, 1961), 4) The Little Golden Calf (transl. A. Fisher, 2009), 5) The Golden Calf (transl. K. Gurevich, H. Anderson, 2009). The methods applied are general scientific (observation and description) and linguistic (text analysis, comparative analysis). In-equivalent lexicon units in “The Golden Calf” novel, set against the background of intensive formation of new Soviet lexicon, includes several classes such as sovietizms (32% of all in-equivalent units), objects and phenomena of everyday life (18%), words of foreign origin (14%), historical words (12%), phraseological units (10%), jargon and dialect words (10%), folklore words (3%), and nonce-words (1%). The comparative study of translation of the given classes of in-equivalent vocabulary in analysed English versions of “The Golden Calf” reveals the methods preferred by each interpreter. More often the authors used the techniques of description and approximate translation; less popular were the methods of hyponymic translation and calque, with the restribution of meaning as the least favorable method. Matching the techniques of in-equivalent lexical units translation to foreignization and domestication strategies makes it possible to declare that the most foreignized is Ann Fisher’s version while the most domesticated one – the translation by K. Gurevich and H. Anderson. Keywords: in-equivalent lexicon units, “The Golden Calf”, translation techniques, domestication, foreignisation | 1927 | |||||

| 3337 | Doubt is often cast nowadays on the previously stable triad of the truth, good and beauty, which is destroyed in one way or another. Proceeding from the principles of positivism the Russian scholar-humanitarian D.N. Ovsya¬niko-Kulikovsky (1853-1920) declared beauty a fiction. In the article it is shown that the scholar's stand as «the de¬stroyer of aesthetics» is determined by his general cultur-ological concept. The recognition of polarity in culture (normal/abnormal, pathological; health/illness) was an¬other characteristic feature of this concept. The author of this article believes that it was an outstanding and bold attempt to introduce fundamental opposition of cul¬ture/counterculture into the Russian science of culture. It is also pointed out that in making specific studies the scholar was inconsequent with the methodologically fruitful idea advanced by him. | 1926 | |||||

The author raises the question of comparative characteristics of speech activity of preschool children with different sociometric statuses. The article describes the criteria, indicators and levels of speech activity of preschool children, which are used in the organization of observations of children of different sociometric statuses in free play and organized joint activities. In particular, such criteria of speech activity as initiative, type of speech communication, speech motivation, content and emotional expressiveness are highlighted. The results of the experiment, for example, revealed a high level of speech activity in children with the status of “stars”, the middle and low level of speech. The detailed description of levels and characteristics of speech activity of preschool children with different sociometric statuses is given. Statistics of comparison of criteria, levels of speech activity of children with different sociometric statuses and explanation of such differences are presented. | 3349 | The heterogeneity of the category of possessiveness conditioned the emergence of different points of view on its structure. There is a vision of the category of possessiveness as a binary opposition. According to the semantics of the name of the possessor, his person, animacy, the degree of his concreteness or abstractness, and the semantics of the object of possession, many linguists distinguish such oppositions as alienable/unalienable appurtenance, internal/external possession, temporary/permanent possessiveness, absolute/relative appurtenance, actual/virtual possession, legal/somatic appurtenance. In the context of the gradual opposition possessive relations can be represented in the form of absolute/relative appurtenance, inalienable appurtenance, relatively inalienable possession, occasionally inalienable and properly alienable appurtenance. According to another interpretation, the object can be inalienable, semi-alienable and alienable. Onomasiological approach proponents describe the possessiveness using as a basis the extra linguistic reality: they describe eventual types of possessors, potential types of objects of possession, try to anticipate their potential relationship. Semasiological approach supporters take as a basis specific language and speech facts – various possessive constructions. They analyze the influence of the form of possessive constructions (presence/absence of noun determiners, verbs) on its semantics. | 3350 | The article considers the functional possibilities of the prezens in German. The analysis was carried out in a diachronic aspect, beginning with the Old High German period and ending with the modern state of German. It is shown what functions were peculiar to the prezens at the time of its formation, which appeared in later periods and which are used at the present stage of development of the given language. For this purpose have been studied the literary monuments of the Old High German and Middle High German periods, the Germanic epic Nibelungenlied. The modern functional potential of prezens is studied on the basis of German newspapers Die Welt and Moskauer deutsche Zeitung. The article uses as the main descriptive, comparative-historical, quantitative methods of investigation. The urgency of the work is due to the ambiguous approach in linguistics to the functional differentiation of the German prezens. In this article its most frequent functions are scientifically substantiated and described. In these German-language newspapers a frequent phenomenon is actual, usual and futuristic prezens. Culturologically, this situation is due to the fact that the Germans attach great importance to the present, and they are characterized by their aspirations for the future. In addition, in modern publicistic speech a tendency is revealed that consists in the combined functioning of prezens in the interaction of frequency functions. The conducted research as a whole expands the scientific understanding of the functional significance of the prezens in the German language.
