| 3355 | The article discusses the establishment of students’ graduation projects based on real industry tasks in the Far Eastern State Transport University (former Khabarovsk State Railway University) as a progressive form of students’ scientific research at the end of the 50–80-ies of XX century. At first real-life graduation projects were introduced into educational process at the chair of “Railway operation” in 1958. The article presents a list of important students graduation projects of 1958–1960 completed for the Far Eastern Railway and the city of Khabarovsk. In addition, the stages of students’ the thesis design are analyzed, starting from information gathering to the presentation of projects to the examination committee. Also, the characteristics of real-life graduation projects are discussed such as the passthrough design (real and meaningful tasks of the industry were selected in the third year of the study, allowing students to do research in the format of coursework), group projects (the projects that require complex calculations were entrusted to a group of students), the use of computers for accurate design calculations. The author proves that students’ real-life projects were the most time-consuming form of research work as they were executed on the basis of real data; they were relevant, responsive and reliable and solved the tasks of the Far Eastern Railway and industries; they allowed students to be actively involved in the projects of industries, to adapt faster at the future workplace and have better career prospects. | 3356 | Introduction. The author analyzes the concepts of «condition» and «pedagogical conditions», identifies and justifies the pedagogical conditions for the education of civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GFSK GTO, taking into account the selected components of civil qualities of adolescents. Aim and objectives: to identify the pedagogical conditions for the education of civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO complex. Material and methods. The research material is theoretical and empirical research on civic education and pedagogical conditions of education. The analysis of the research helped to clarify a number of pedagogical terms and theoretically justify the identified pedagogical conditions. Results and discussion. The term «condition» is a General scientific term, but depending on the branch of scientific knowledge it is considered from different positions (philosophical, psychological, pedagogical). In this regard, «pedagogical conditions» are interpreted by scientists in different ways, but the function of pedagogical conditions remains unchanged-the influence on the development, training and upbringing of the individual. Taking into account the fact that pedagogical conditions are specially created, we will consider them from the point of view of increasing the effectiveness of the process of personal development, education and training. Pedagogical conditions aimed at improving the effectiveness of the process of educating civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO complex, we divide into three groups, taking into account the selected components of educating civil qualities of adolescents: the first group is pedagogical conditions that reflect the characteristics of the axiological component of educating civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO complex; the second group of pedagogical conditions, reflecting the characteristics of the cognitive component of the education of civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO, the third group – pedagogical conditions, which reflect the characteristics of the action component of the education of civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO. Conclusion. The analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the problem of restoring civic qualities of adolescents has shown that to increase the effectiveness of achieving the set pedagogical goal, a mandatory factor is the creation of specific pedagogical conditions that allow to fully implement the model of educating civic qualities of adolescents by means of the complex GTO. | 3359 | Doubt is often cast nowadays on the previously stable triad of the truth, good and beauty, which is destroyed in one way or another. Proceeding from the principles of positivism the Russian scholar-humanitarian D.N. Ovsya¬niko-Kulikovsky (1853-1920) declared beauty a fiction. In the article it is shown that the scholar's stand as «the de¬stroyer of aesthetics» is determined by his general cultur-ological concept. The recognition of polarity in culture (normal/abnormal, pathological; health/illness) was an¬other characteristic feature of this concept. The author of this article believes that it was an outstanding and bold attempt to introduce fundamental opposition of cul¬ture/counterculture into the Russian science of culture. It is also pointed out that in making specific studies the scholar was inconsequent with the methodologically fruitful idea advanced by him. | 1926 | |||||

| 3371 | The paper focuses on the images of Anglo-Saxon queens in the works of biographers and church writers of the 8th – 9th century England. Based on Asser’s Life of King Alfred, Life of St Wilfred of York and Ecclesiastical history of the English people it is shown that historical portraits of Anglo-Saxon rulers’ wives have their specificity depending on the genre, the author’s objectives and attitudes to women in power. Early Anglo-Saxon queens enjoyed high social status, participated in worldly and church affairs. Precedents of rivalry between queens and people within the king’s circle are discussed. Tradition and personal support of the king are identified as the sources of queen’s power. Queens influenced the rulers’ policy by means of their council, that Christian writers associated with the Fall. Not coincidentally, in the early Anglo-Saxon narrative evil queens always use their husbands, intriguing against nobles and hierarchs. Nevertheless, both secular and clerical attitudes to queens’ power were rather complex. On the one hand, their political activity caused concern. On the other, queens patronizing the Church were held in high esteem by ecclesiastical authors. Downgrading of the king’s wife’s position in the 9th century Wessex should be considered a matter of historical accident rather than conformity to historical patterns. | 3372 | The relevance of this study is due to the fact that the high level of speech activity ensures the establishment of positive interpersonal relationships of preschoolers with peers and the child’s occupation of a certain status position in the children’s collective. The author raises the question of comparative characteristics of speech activity of preschool children with different sociometric statuses. The article describes the criteria, indicators and levels of speech activity of preschool children, which are used in the organization of observations of children of different sociometric statuses in free play and organized joint activities. In particular, such criteria of speech activity as initiative, type of speech communication, speech motivation, content and emotional expressiveness are highlighted. The results of the experiment, for example, revealed a high level of speech activity in children with the status of “stars”, the middle and low level of speech. The detailed description of levels and characteristics of speech activity of preschool children with different sociometric statuses is given. Statistics of comparison of criteria, levels of speech activity of children with different sociometric statuses and explanation of such differences are presented. Thus, the study revealed differences between children with the status of “stars” and “isolated” according to the criteria of speech initiative, motivation and types of speech communication. | 3373 | The article considers the functional possibilities of the prezens in German. The analysis was carried out in a diachronic aspect, beginning with the Old High German period and ending with the modern state of German. It is shown what functions were peculiar to the prezens at the time of its formation, which appeared in later periods and which are used at the present stage of development of the given language. For this purpose have been studied the literary monuments of the Old High German and Middle High German periods, the Germanic epic Nibelungenlied. The modern functional potential of prezens is studied on the basis of German newspapers Die Welt and Moskauer deutsche Zeitung. The article uses as the main descriptive, comparative-historical, quantitative methods of investigation. The urgency of the work is due to the ambiguous approach in linguistics to the functional differentiation of the German prezens. In this article its most frequent functions are scientifically substantiated and described. In these German-language newspapers a frequent phenomenon is actual, usual and futuristic prezens. Culturologically, this situation is due to the fact that the Germans attach great importance to the present, and they are characterized by their aspirations for the future. In addition, in modern publicistic speech a tendency is revealed that consists in the combined functioning of prezens in the interaction of frequency functions. The conducted research as a whole expands the scientific understanding of the functional significance of the prezens in the German language. | 3374 | Introduction. Phenomenological discourse in literature is connected with methodological orientation on perception of literary work as a phenomenon of author’s reality and event in reader perception. Due to such dialogue biorientation, the literary text ceases to be understood as a closed object, reaching the level of existential communication between the author and the reader with the basis for value event. Which makes it possible to talk about the possibility of revealing the perceiving consciousness through a dialog search for one’s word and another’s word. Materials and methods. The study uses analytical, descriptive, axiological methods and a phenomenological approach. The material for the study is the chapter of “A Writer’s Dairy” by F. M. Dostoevsky “One of the Modern Fales” (1873), ego-documents: notebooks 1863–1864, letters to A. G. Kovner (1877), N. P. Peterson (1878) and E. F. Yunge (1880). Results and discussion. As part of the axiological analysis of the text, the category “author’s position” was identified as an “aesthetic coefficient” of the value orientation vector of the literary work. The “position of the author” is understood through the dialogical principle, drawn by M. M. Bakhtin as the first definition in the polyphonic structure of the works of F. M. Dostoevsky. The dialogue of the writer is an all-encompassing concept, with neither temporary nor simple borders. This was directly reflected in the idea, genre and composition of “A Writer’s Diary”. Other modality, based on the conjugation of the Self and the Other consciousness, is characterized by position-value variability. The existential consciousness of the writer manifests itself in a word having a dialogue orientation. Dialogue is an attributive characteristic of existential consciousness. Personal Self shows itself as an object and subject through the situation of analysis of the process of self-knowledge. Conclusion. The process of the reader discovering not just the spiritual and moral foundations of the author’s personality, but the very situation of their formation is important in the situation of the value orientation of the young generation. Through the dialogue with the consciousness of the perceiving subject, Dostoevsky opens the way for the reader to acquire his Self (both I-author and I-reader). | 3375 | Introduction. The present paper introduces Russian historians of linguistics to a little-known treatise on the history of Spanish – “Del origen y principio de la lengua castellana o romance que oi se usa en España” (1606) by Bernardo de Aldrete. Aim and objectives. The aim of the present study is to analyse B. De Aldrete’s treatise and specify how certain notions of general linguistics, crucial for its present state of development, were being developed. Material and methods. The study is based on a print edition of Aldrete’s treatise (about 400-pages long). The methods employed are: critical analysis of the text as an example of Renaissance linguistic thought and sociocultural analysis of the historical context the treatise was written in. This XVII-century scientific text and its system of terms are interpreted with the help of modern terminology, as normally done by linguistic historiography scholars. Results and discussion. The analysis of Aldrete’s treatise as a specimen of Spanish linguistic thought is performed against the background of the earlier linguistic tradition and the sociocultural situation in the Golden-Age Spain. XVI–XVII-century Pyrenees linguistics – Spanish in particular – was developing in a very specific sociocultural milieu, which preconditioned its inter-paradigmatic nature and an extremely wide scope of objects and themes discussed. The paper mainly focuses on how Aldrete dealt with general linguistic issues in his treatise on the history of Spanish. The analysis shows that such issues include: ways of naming language; functions of language; diversity of forms of speech; correlations between language system and speech; historicity of language; language contacts; diatopic (territorial), diastratic (social) and diaphasic (functional) variation of language; distinguishing between dialects and languages; the domineering role of standard language. Conclusion. The author of the XVII-century historical-linguistic treatise under analysis does not limit himself to studying purely historical aspects of language. The work by Aldrete embraces a wide range of issues of general linguistics, which shows that as early as in the pre-Port-Royal period linguists were already discussing the concepts and principles that are crucial for modern linguistic science. | 3390 | Despite the disposition of the theater of the absurd for linguistic minimalism, the plays of the British theater of the absurd possess a great phonographic potential due to the generic features of the dramatic text. The article explains the paradoxical ability of the dramatic text to transfer performer’s phonostylistic means through the author’s remarks, special syntactic constructions and graphic tools. The identified phonostylistic and graphic means in the absurdist plays by Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter and Tom Stoppard do not only help to convey the authors’ ideas, but also conform to the philosophy of the absurd. The most represented means is the instrumentation based on different sound repetitions (alliteration, consonance, rhyme) with the use of sound symbolism. The phonographic analysis of the texts also revealed some cases of onomatopoeia and paronomasia. Rhythm has a special stylistic meaning in the drama. It is inherent in both theatrical actions and speech, which is reflected in the dramatic text. | 3398 | Today television is the main mass media. It can show a huge audience not only current events, but also recreate the past. Therefore, today television is actively used to create television programs that broadcast historical knowledge. The author of this article examines one of the most conceptual aspect of historical popularization on TV – the conception of fact as a semantic category. The analysis bases on several examples o f television program “Nefact” (“Not a fact”), broadcasted on the Russian television channel “Zvezda”. It is a modern television product, which explores different events and phenomena in the point of view of the concept of fact and factual. In the focus of the article is lexical units “fact” and “not fact”, its semantic and functional meanings, and different ways of using in text structure of the TV-program. At the end of the article the author concludes that this lexical units can denote a reliable piece of information; 2) serve as a marker of doubt; 3) give a starting point to journalistic investigation and determine its structure; 4) serve as confirmation or refutation of information, being used at the conclusion of the investigation; 5) perform a nominative function, defining a specific style of presentation of the material. The author examines communicative potential of the test unit in journalistic materials and its importance in the promotion of knowledge. | 3399 | Introduction. Teaching Russian in secondary school, speech development and the formation of spelling and punctuation skills is an important task that involves a number of difficulties. Effective study of the Russian language in a secondary school is often hindered by factors such as poor perseverance, lack of interest in the subject, bilingualism, and more. Russian Russian spelling rules algorithmized representation method is considered in this paper, which allows to improve the quality of teaching Russian to middle and senior school students. The purpose is to substantiate the effectiveness of the algorithm method in teaching the Russian language to children of secondary schools, to consider approximate models of training algorithms. Material and methods. Theoretical methods (modeling, analysis, synthesis) were used in the work; empirical methods (observation, comparison, experiment). Results and discussion. Simple memorizing of the rules does not always lead to increased literacy of students. The algorithm method provides for the joint compilation of algorithmic schemes of various types with students, which illustrate the rule being studied, allow you to work out the mechanism of reasoning step by step when performing spelling and punctuation tasks. This approach contributes to the achievement of a high quality of knowledge through the systematic development of practical skills with the help of schemes adapted to the needs of each child. The training algorithm can have different types: from a clearly formulated scheme (similar to a mathematical example) up to a colorful illustration that will be understandable to children with creative abilities. Conclusion. The algorithm method can be applied to study almost any rule of Russian spelling and punctuation. In the scheme created jointly with the students, there should be a place for exceptions and for examples that the child will enter independently. When creating a training scheme, the student is an active co-author. A circuit is never a closed system. It is being refined and improved in the process of practical activity of students. For children from the same class, the schemes can be completely different, as they have been improved and finalized independently.
