Hydrosphere is the most ancient part of biosphere the further development of which is directed to the settling of aerial surroundings and lithosphere cover by organisms. This main track was assumed as a basis of partition of development history into three periods such as hydrozemic, atmozemic and lithozemic ones. Each period is accompanied by respective trend of soil formation, for example hydrozemic period corresponds with underwater soil formation and atmozemic and lithozemic ones to swamp and land respectively. Soil formation influenced on the development of biota by double means, in other words through the change of outer conditions which happened as a result of soil formation, and indirectly through the soil as a habitat

Kolmogorova A.V., Varlamova O.N. PHONETIC AND PROSODIC FEATURES OF MOTHER’S SPEECH SPECIFIED BY THE SUTIATION OF AWAKING A CHILD // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 10 (187). P. 127-131

The following article studies phonetic and prosodic changes in mother’s speech. We consider that the situation of awaking a child preconditions these changes. We propose the role of a mother as socially relevant. Mother’s speech is an informational key to the system of a native language. Basing on Russian and the French language, we analyze qualitative and quantitative changes in consonants and vowels in lexical units of different parts of speech, as well as changes in tone and rate of mother’s utterances. We take into account such phonetic phenomena as longitude of a sound, palatalization of consonants, changes of values in tone. The changes of values in tone are illustrated by graphs. The material for analysis includes audio and video of recorded talk between mothers and their children (age from 0 to 10 months). The participants were divided into two groups: 1) Russian-speaking dyad “mother-child” (5 participants); 2) French-speaking dyad “mother-child” (4 participants). To undertake the analysis we applied computer software package for the scientific analysis of speech in phonetics called PRAAT. Resulting in setting minimal and maximal values in tone of analyzed utterances, correlation of longitude of a sound with tone and pragmatic meaning we conclude that these features of mother’s speech are universal for the situation of awaking a child.

Protasova N.V. COGNITIVE INTEREST DEVELOPMENT AMONG SENIOR SCHOOLCHILDREN OF PROFILE NON-HUMANITARIAN CLASSES IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACQUISITION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 6 (195). P. 165-170

The article is devoted to the problem of cognitive interest development among senior schoolchildren of nonhumanitarian classes during the English language acquisition at a secondary school. The author draws attention to the fact that the newly formed scientific branches provide the emergence of new professions, change the system of school education and increase the development of cognitive interest among schoolchildren. The main idea of the present article is to demonstrate the necessity of learning English for senior schoolchildren, whose profile subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics, as new professions actively come into modern life. Foreign language is considered to be polysubject and can enrich senior schoolchildren of non–humanitarian profile with knowledge on Natural Science and Mathematics and develop their cognitive interest. The interest to a foreign language as a subject, in recent times, is explained by it’s penetrating into different spheres and nonlinguistic professions. Actually, spheres of using a foreign language are extended. According to the “Atlas of new professions”, to 2025–2035 many new professions occur, many of them will need the knowledge of a foreign language. Intersubject relations come into modern school education and really extend the zone of subject knowledge on profile because of the interpenetration of knowledge of different subjects. Integration of a foreign language with Science subjects and Mathematics gives the opportunity for schoolchildren to get new knowledge on profile subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and others) and increase the development of cognitive interest among senior schoolchildren. We consider that intersubject integration increases schoolchildren’s motivation to learning foreign languages, develops different kinds of thinking, forms the following abilities – to analyze, to generalize, to synthesize, to compare, make conclusions and others.

Keywords: cognitive interest, cognitive motivation, intersubject, integration of humanitarian and natural science knowledge, new professions

Shchetinina A.V., Semekhina A.S. LANGUAGE REPRESENTATION OF THE IDEA OF NATIONAL UNITY IN MEDIA DISCOURSE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 1 (213). P. 18-27

Introduction. The features of the lexical representation of the idea of national unity in publicistic and advertising texts are considered. The relevance of the study is due to the current state of the field of social communication, in particular, the unlimited possibilities of free interaction between people due to the availability of digital technologies, as a result of which, on the one hand, various actors can in-fluence human consciousness through texts (for example, newspaper publications, advertising, etc.), on the other hand, different types of discourses reflect the peculiarities of people’s ideas about a par-ticular fragment of modern reality. Aim and objectives. The purpose of the article is to analyze what lexical means represent the idea of national unity in the media discourse. The object of research is journalistic and advertising texts. Material and methods. The research material was lexicographic data, text fragments extracted from the National Corpus of the Russian language and selected by the authors from media publications, polycode texts of commercial advertising. The methods of semantic-motivational reconstruction, com-ponent analysis, interpretation of contextual semantics, analysis of definitions were used. Results and discussion. Based on the study of the linguistic representation of the idea of national unity in dictionaries and speech use, the value of the non-idiomatic compound expression national unity is established, contextual markers of the idea of national unity are identified in publicistic and advertising texts. The expression national unity is considered in a series of synonymous units of national unity and national consent. It is shown that the expression national unity has a procedural meaning and pre-supposes the duration of action, and the expressions of national unity and national consent have a substantive meaning of effectiveness and a contextual synonym for national union. Based on the analysis of the definitions of the adjective national and the noun unity and their speech use as a com-posite non-idiomatic expression, the definition of national unity is formulated as ‘the state process of rallying the citizens of the country who have a common historical past, based on the interaction of the authorities and the people on the issue of solving the problems of state development and national secu-rity’. It has been established that in commercial poly-code advertising, the expression national unity is not used, but the idea of national unification is implemented implicitly. Conclusion. The authors identified language markers for promoting the idea of national unity in mod-ern commercial advertising, nominating common traditions, territory and some features of the coun-try’s socio-cultural life. It is noted that commercial advertising has significant opportunities for promot-ing national ideas; a research perspective is seen in the study of the educational possibilities of adver-tising discourse.

Dubrovskaya N.V. THE SEMANTICS OF THE ATTRIBUTIVE CONSTRUCTIONS WITH THE COLOUR TERM “BLACK” IN THE TAZ DIALECT OF THE SELKUP LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 8 (197). P. 69-73

This work is devoted to the study of the semantics of the colour terms with the meaning of “black” in the Taz dialect of the Selkup language. The study of the prosaic folklore texts and lexicographical works showed that the main term for the black color is the lexeme sǟqy (sǟ). It can characterize the color of such objects from the sphere of animate and inanimate nature as: human skin (swarthy, sunburned and color of the bruise), human hair (brunette), plumage of a tomtit, colour of the silver fox, colour of the dense forests, peat, kings of spades or clubs in playing cards, colour of the water in the river (presumably the river of Angara) and the colour of clothing. There are examples of the male personal names, which include the color term with the meaning “black”. This study proposes the construction of the tables that include both objects characterized by the colour term in the Taz dialect and attribute constructions with the terms of colour. The table is accompanied by the comments and allows, on the one hand, to compare colour characteristics within one object, and, on the other hand, to study the semantics of the colour terms for “black” inherented for different objects. Thus, the present study based on the material of the Taz dialect of the Selkup language can serve as a basis for the further comparative studies and be of interest in the typological perspective, which can allow to fix the differences in the structure of the of the given semantic zone in the Selkup dialects.
