The author reveals its essence according to the requirements of Federal governmental educational standards of higher pedagogical education for training sector 050100 “Pedagogical education”. The author describes the model of step-by-step development of the professional position during the period of studying at higher educational establishment by defining the cognitive, creative, action and reflexive components of “professional position”. The author characterizes potential opportunities of student’s contest of pedagogical skills in future teacher’s professional position development. In the present article the author examines the process of student’s step-by-step preparation to participation in this contest, the content of contest’s nominations in accordance with structural components of future teacher’s professional position. The contest of pedagogical skills is one of the components of educational system of Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University. This contest has been held at university for 15 years. Its results appear in stable professional position of young teachers – former contestants. | 3653 | The object of research in this article is the means of self-presentation of the artist’s professional language personality. Professional language personality is a complex of linguistic competences which permits the effective operating with professional sub-discourses «in different situations of professional-communicative interaction» (S. V. Myskin). The material of research is interviews of different years with Rada Anchevskaya – a leader of the rock-group «Rada & Ternovnik». Rada Anchevskaya positions herself as a musical «shaman», likens a concert to a ritual, trance and likens a stage to a sacral place. In her opinion music has mystical and timeless origin. Ideally, musicians do not compose but perceive it if they have enough delicacy of feelings. Music animates the word in a song. Particularity of self-presentation of Rada Anchevskaya’s professional language personality is in plenty of factual information (names of musical instruments, albums and songs of the group «Rada & Ternovnik»; denominations of musical equipment, styles and genres; surnames of musicians, specialists in mythology, philosophy, titles of the books on different themes, names of folklore and mythological characters etc.) and in frequent use of tropes and stylistic figures (mainly the metaphors). It shows great erudition of the artist, seriousness and profundity of her works and figurative nature of her language picture of the world. Ekphrasis is analysed as presented in the poem “Portraits” written by the famous English poet Ted Hughes. Specific features of ekphrasis and various linguistic means of its manifestation are subjected to analysis. A dialogic form of ekphrasis is employed in the poem. The main features embedded in the archetypal scheme of an ekphrastic dialogue are revealed in the poem under analysis. The transition to the digital economy dictates new needs associated with modern equipment and software, primarily with the training of competitive personnel for the future digital economy, on which Russia’s positioning and opportunities in the global economic market depend. The competencies of young professionals that were in demand a few years ago and seemed promising, for example, confident use of a computer, now seem basic. In an ever-changing world, it is important to start training future specialists for the digital economy in a timely manner, since retraining and training of personnel will require large time resources. In this case, there is an acute question of teaching staff who would be able to start the process of training young professionals. The role of such personnel is played by school teachers, on whom the quality of training of future personnel depends, and consequently, the speed of the country’s transition to full digitalization of all spheres of life. To train future staff, teachers need to master new competencies and needs that are dictated by modern society and the labor market. Thus, the issue of comprehensive retraining and advanced training of school teachers is acute. Material and methods. The author substantiates the development and implementation of a professional development course for teachers, briefly describes the sections, significance and methods of implementing the course. Results and discussion. Developed and conducted a professional development course for teachers dedicated to digital educational resources in the framework of the project “Digital Educational Environment”. Conclusion. Teachers who have successfully completed advanced training courses acquire new skills and improve their previous competencies in the field of digital educational resources, which allows teachers to revise the usual teaching methods, make the learning model more flexible and individual for each student. And also start training for life in the era of digitalization and the digital economy. | 3674 | The article deals with the theater in the pedagogy of Philipp Melanchthon, primarily on the material of his prefaces and comments on the publications of Terence in 1517–1519, 1524–1528. and 1545, to which he returned throughout almost his entire career. Early editions were written within the background of his rhetorical reform at the Wittenberg Faculty of Arts, the second edition was prepared as part of the school reform in Saxony (with scholia being compiled) and, finally, the last edition reflects Melanchthon’s experience of studying ancient Greek dramaturgy (the tragedies of Euripides, Sophocles and the comedies of Aristophanes). Despite a sufficient number of scientific publications exploring the indicated sources in various contexts (Melanchthon’s ethics, his ideas about ancient drama, etc.), the article focuses on Melanchthon’s idea of theater as pedagogical practice. Analysis of the sources suggests that Melanchthon rarely shared the discourses of theater and drama, speaking together about their educational and educational functions. Sharing theological and secular knowledge into categories of Gospel and Law, Melanchthon considered it necessary to study ancient literature, philosophy and drama in particular as valuable “stories” which are rich in examples of universal human ethics and give pictures of various socio-political activity (speeches, meetings, council meetings, etc.). This idea was developed by him in his numerous works on ethics and theology. Modeling of the educational process in Melanchthon’s school based on the scholia to Terence allows us to suggest that the study of texts in the classroom was built primarily around grammar exercises and the study of expressions and vocabulary. Then his conviction of Melanchthon in the use of theater/drama for ethical and social up-bringing, along with the mentions of productions in his texts, suggests that the theatrical activity was that tool of the formation of ethics. Of course, Melanchthon was far from specific understanding the educational functions of the theater, but the practice of staging was laid in his method as an educational practice. We propose in this sense to talk about the theater in Melanchthon’s pedagogy as an anthropological practice. We believe that the competences described in the Federal State Standard of Higher Education can not be fully developed in students lacking the necessary knowledge of a foreign language after finishing their secondary education. One more relevant problem arises here, the one of the equalization of the initial level of students’ language skills. The institutions of higher education used to solve this problem by running a correction course, but due to the reduction in the amount of contact hours, we believe it is advisable to organize such work outside the classroom. Such changes will require a careful choice of textbooks. Therefore, we suggest applying a model of work with English textbooks having online components in the organization of students’ self-guided work. We analyze the results of the experiment aimed at the approbation of the technique in question and illustrate them by the statistical data obtained by testing the experimental and control groups. We prove that most language skills improve considerably due to the use of computer learning. Moreover, this pedagogical technique contributes to growing motivation and results in developing necessary competences prescribed by the State standard. | 3694 | In the article the issues of penitentiary staff training during the first years of the Soviet government are revealed. These issues are of concern for research as one of the underworked topics in native science. The author focuses on the events connected with it, on historical and pedagogical experience, trials and errors of pioneers of Soviet penitentiary staff training system. Chronological boundaries of the article are determined by the major events of Russian history, which were highly influential on the process of professional penitentiary staff training. The lowest boundary begins in October 1917 with inauguration of Bolshevik regime. The highest is connected with the Second Congress of penitentiary affairs officials of the RSFSR held from November to December 1924, after the agreements of which systematic solutions of the issues of Soviet penitentiary staff training became possible since the second half of 1920s. The first agreements of the government during the first years of Bolshevik regime concerning penitentiary personnel policy and shifting penitentiary priorities are revealed. The central place in the article is devoted to the revealing of external and domestic factors undermining the professional penitentiary staff training and having a negative impact on the possibilities of penitentiary personnel policy in that period. The study of religious and literary texts of hagiographic character of the Siberian Holy righteous elder Theodore of Tomsk in this article is carried out in the aspect of receptive aesthetics. The first part of the article is devoted to the study of “horizon of expectations” of the young readers of contemporary hagiographic literature. To do this, an experiment was conducted with a written survey of adolescents of secondary and Sunday schools of Tomsk to ascertain the sociology of their reader taste and competence.
