Kilin V.A., Kilin R.Y., Zelichenko V.M. The Use of Model Potentials in Calclation of the Fullerene Electron Structure // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 6 (57). P. 170-171

The results of investigation of the fullerene C60 ground state electron structure obtained with the use of model spherical-symmetric potentials of electron-nuclear interaction are presented. The following models: the rectangular potential well, the potential of the uniformly charged sphere, and the potential “in a chosen direction” are used in the calculations. The new potential “in a chosen direction” has been used for the first time, so that the corresponding results are of the most interest. We suppose this potential takes into account, to a certain extend, the real geometry of the molecule C60 and the screening of the nuclei Coulomb field by the inner-shell electrons. The single-electron energies are calculated in both Hartree and Hartree-Fock approximations for the averaged term configuration of 60 outermost valence electrons. The inner-shell electrons are included effectively into the molecular ionic core. The parameters of the potential are chosen to provide the best correspondence of single-electron energies and the experimental ionization thresholds IP1=7.58 eV , IP2=11.50 eV. The calculation showed a good agreement between the calculated results and experimental data. All that will allow utilization of well-developed methods of the theoretical atomic physics to investigation of spectroscopic properties of highly-symmetrical molecular clusters

Lekhtenfeld O. INSTANTONS AND CHERN-SIMONS FLOWS IN SIX AND SEVEN DIMENSIONS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 13 (128). P. 103-108

The existence of K-instantons on a cylinder M7 = Rт x K/H over a homogeneous nearly Kahler 6-manifold K/H requires a conformally parallel or a cocalibrated G2-structure on M7. The generalized anti-self-duality onM7 implies a Chern-Simons ow on K/H which runs between instantons on the coset. For K-equivariant connections, the torsionful Yang-Mills equation reduces to a particular quartic dynamics for a Newtonian particle on C. We obtain kink- or bounce-type solutions for generic values of the torsion. When the latter corresponds to the conformally parallel or cocalibrated G2-structure on M7, the dynamics follows from a gradient or hamiltonian ow, respectively, and we encounter Yang-Mills instantons.

We show that superconformal N = 2 transformation could be applied to the construction of the supersymmetric analogon of the reciprocal transformation. Due to it we present the connections between three different N = 2 supersymmetric extensions of the Korteweg de Vries equations with the three different N = 2 supersymmetric extension of the Harry Dym equation.

The author investigates a semiotic function of religious architecture. Sacred building (a temple) is a specific visual semiotic unit, fixing main religious and cultural content. The concept of “sacred place”, shifting from temple to the city, translates local historical meanings and related visual markers on a habitable environment in general. Methods of architectural design of sacral topos in the national culture are investigated on the example of the most important sacred buildings. Three semiotic paradigms of sacred meanings transfer in architecture are identified: the transfer of ideas, the image transfer and the copying.

We consider two types of modifications of Born-Infeld gravity in the Palatini formulation and explore their dynamics in the early universe. One of these families considers f(R) corrections to the Born-Infeld Lagrangian, which can be seen as modifications of the dynamics produced by the quantum effects of matter, while the other consists on different powers of the elementary building block of the Born-Infeld Lagrangian, which we denote by |Ωˆ|. We find that the two types of nonsingular solutions that arise in the original Born-Infeld theory are also present in these extensions, being bouncing solutions a stable and robust branch. Singular solutions with a period of approximate de Sitter inflation are found even in universes dominated by radiation.

Kortunov A.I. ISSUE ON LAND OWNERSHIP AND POPULATION DYNAMICS OF UFA COSSACKS IN THE SECOND HALF OF XVIII – FIRST HALF OF XIX CENTURIES // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 9 (162). P. 152-159

The major results of the study of land ownership and population dynamics of ufa cossacks in the second half of XVIII – first half of XIX centuries are stated. According to the sources, mounted Cossacks in Ufa have appeared only in 1660-s. Initially Ufa Cossacks used suburban hay lands and pastures on equal terms with other military and serving population of the city. They also had the exclusive right of fishing on the Belaya River within the city for a long time. Analysis of the statistical material showed that over the 1755 to 1844 period staff size of the Ufa Cossacks held constant and came to 150 people, and along with retired Cossacks the population in different years came to 300 Cossacks.

Boldyreva I.I. THE PROBLEMS OF IMAGE AND STATUS OF EDITH OF WESSEX IN THE LIFE OF EDWARD THE CONFESSOR // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 9 (162). P. 196-201

The paper considers specific features of image and status of English king Edward the Confessor’s wife Edith based on “Vita Ædwardi Regis” that was written in the middle 60-s of the XI c. on the orders of Edward’s widow. Edith’s status as the queen at her husband’s court as reflected in the “Vita…” well fitted in the overall trend of late Anglo-Saxon rulers’ wives strengthening influence on state affairs. However, the key factor in Edith’s “career” and in her image interpretation by the “Vita…” was her kinship with the powerful Godwin’s clan, the English king had to reckon with. By representing herself in the “Vita…” as the ideal wife, queen, sister and daughter of the powerful Godwin family members Edith attempted at strengthening her position at the royal court after the death of king Edward, her husband.

The two-dimensional finite difference method is applied to model the metal cutting process where the contact interaction between the cutter and work piece is defined. Lagrange description of motion is used which includes the generation of new surfaces as the work piece fractures and chip separates. In the article we discovered peculiarities of individual style (idiostyle) of the singer, poetess and composer I. A. Bogushevskaya. Material for the analysis were the texts of the posts written by I. A. Bogushevskaya in “LiveJournal”, which had been kept in her Internet diary from March 2005 till November 2014. Peculiarity of I. A. Bogushevskaya's individual style is a high concentration of different expressive units: conversational, non-upper class and jargonical words, units of Olbanian language, occasional units (lexical, morphological, semantic types), tropes (similes, metaphors, epithets etc.) and figures of speech (anaphora, antithesis, gradation, polysyndeton, parceling, anadiplosis, repetition). Other peculiarities of I. A. Bogushevskaya's blog are word-play and use of precedential texts, terms (musical or not), lexis of the thematic group “Music”.

Koshkarova N.N. TACTIC OF THREAT AS REALIZATION OF CONFRONTATIONAL STRATEGY IN NEWS GENRE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 7 (172). P. 17-20

The paper is devoted to the analysis of threat tactic realization on the basis of the news genre. The threat tactic represents the confrontational strategy which exists in the framework of the linguopragmatic block of the coherent models of the conflict and congruous types of discourse. News genre is viewed as functioning in the intercultural political space. The author singles out three cases of the threat tactic realization: the beginning of the conflict communication, the response to some kind of action on the part of the opponent (or the third part), emotional reaction. All the above-mentioned cases present the explication of the threat tactic with the help of lexical, grammatical and other language factors. Outlines the prospects for further research to which belong the analysis of cognitive marked cases of threat tactic realization when the researcher needs additional efforts to classify these or those utterances as being destructive.

The objective of the work is to consolidate and summarize the findings of the questionnaire aimed at identifying students and teachers’ attitude towards the educational process transition to electronic format. Material and methods. Research statistics was taken from the questionnaire conducted in the first couple of weeks of online English classes and at the end of 2019–2020 academic year spring term. In order to solve the task the authors applied the following methods: the analysis of methodological literature on technologies introduction into educational process at English language classes, questionnaire given to university students and teachers. Results and discussion. The paper combines and generalizes the replies to the questionnaire about the very first experience of using e-learning environment fully instead of in-class activities for the English language classes at the university. Advantages and drawbacks of a distance education are mentioned as well as the level of educational process participants’ satisfaction with the language teaching quality within a new format. There are also some special aspects of teaching English online shown. It was defined that during these classes students and teachers had faced the major challenge – the lack of a real-life communication with verbal and nonverbal channels of information exchange. One of the undeniable benefits of a distance education when compared to classroom sessions is organizational aspect, especially time saving. Conclusion. Remote format of the English language classes is considered as a high quality alternative to in-class learning in situations when classroom settings are impossible to be organized due to different circumstances (pandemics, weather conditions, etc.). Practical focus of a “Foreign language” as a subject determines the significance of a real-life face-to-face communication during the classes.

Kondratenko P.I. ON STRATEGIES OF IMPLICIT EXPERT EVALUATION IN GERMAN LINGUISTIC REVIEWS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 6 (218). P. 49-59

Introduction. The article focuses on the ways scientists express expert evaluation in German academic linguistic reviews. It contributes to the socio-communicative research on evaluation in academic communicative settings. Aim. The aim of the article is to reveal the most frequent strategies of implicit expert evaluation in German linguistic reviews. Material and methods. The materials of the study are 25 reviews published in 2016–2017 in field-specific academic journals: “Zeitschrift für Angewandte Linguistik”, “Zeitschrift für Sprachwissenschaft” and “Zeitschrift für Rezensionen”. Qualitative (contextual semantic, functional pragmatic) and quantitative analysis of the German linguistic reviews provides a set of strategies used to covertly evaluate the papers reviewed. Results and discussion. We consider the expert evaluation as a specific communicative / discursive sub-type of linguistic evaluation marked by modifications of the general logical structure in terms of “subject – object – predicate of evaluation”. Adding the recipient of evaluation we obtain following structure: the subject and the recipient of expert evaluation are scientific discourse actors, the object is represented by formal and content-related aspects of the books reviewed and the predicate of expert evaluation are criteria of scientificity, norms, values and standards of communication shared by all members of the current scientific community. Our data analysis results support our hypothesis and demonstrate that it is possible to make an implicit evaluation of different polarity following the various implication strategies. Beside of well-known strategies used to express evaluation covertly in academic book reviews the article describes also new strategies, not yet mentioned in similar and related works: implicit evaluation through disagreement with the author’s viewpoint, implicit evaluation through recommendation to the review’s recipient and implicit evaluation through (in)direct question. Quantitative measures illustrate different frequencies of negative and positive implicit evaluation and lead to conclusion the explicit evaluation prevail among all types of evaluation whereas the negative implicit evaluation prevail among all tokens of implicit evaluation in our data.

The elution of soil organic matter from 4.5 km long consisting peat-moorsh soils transect in broad range of pH was investigated. This transect is located in the Agroecological Landscape Park in Turew, 40 km South-West of PoznaD, West Polish Lowland. There is this transect along Wysko ditch. pH and pseudo first-order reaction constants were measured. Peat-moorsh soils were described and classified according to Polish hydrogenic soil classification and World Reference Base Soil Notation. There are four investigated points along to Wyskoc ditch. Two times a month during entire vegetation season the following material was taken from this four chosen site – samples of peat, from the depth of 0–20 cm. The rates of the reaction were calculated from the kinetics of first order reaction model. All experiments were repeated at different pH 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 8.0, 8.5 of 0.5 M ammonium acetate buffer solution. The rates of organic matter elution for all samples of peats were significant different at four used wavelengths » = 272 nm, » = 320 nm, » = 465 nm, and » = 665 nm. It was observed that the rates increased between » = 272 nm and » = 320 nm and decreased from » = 465 nm to » = 665 nm.

Fitopopulacja optimum Bupleurum scorzonerifolium Wiild. is in motley-grass meadow steppes. The maximum abundance was recorded in the communities with the projective covering of grass 40–59 %, while increasing and decreasing of this factor is the weight of the collected raw materials decreases (r = 0,39, Rxy = 0,20). The highest yield was recorded in the interval of hydrothermic coefficient for steppe areas of 1,5–1,6, forest-steppe – 2,2–2,3, forest – 2,5–2,6, where the ratio of heat and precipitation was close to a multiyear average. The absolute value of the maximum productivity changes by years slightly. Possible annual for the Eastern Transbaikal region harvesting volume is estimsated in 781,2 tons.

This paper searches for the points of contact between cognitive linguistics and IT by drawing parallels between key concepts of cognitive linguistics and mathematical logics. The notions of metalanguage, object language and graph are considered not only as strictly logical concepts but as a tool that can be used to solve a range of interdisciplinary problems such as modeling the knowledge structure of a certain subject field. Since every natural language is both an object and a subject of cognition, such type of research seems to be essential in terms of modern level of computer technology and artificial intelligence. The paper also substantiates the reason to create interdisciplinary teams of software developers because such kind of intercommunication and cooperation between different areas of study seems to be vital to deal with the problems of modern educational and testing issues.

Medniko D.M. ON THE QUESTION OF GOLD INDUSTRY WORKERS’ INSURANCE IN THE LATE 1800’S – EARLY 1900’S // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 5 (194). P. 103-109

Since the very beginning of goldmine industry in Siberia its workers were on their own in issues of healthcare, insurance and support of families of the deceased laborers. Changes came in the end of XIX – the beginning of XX century. They became possible because of new imperial legislation. According to new laws, entrepreneurs became responsible for their worker’s health and were obliged to compensate work-related injury or death claims of employees. However, it caused debates among people of industry. They made several projects, concerning the creation of insurance association and the society of mutual insurance for workers. Some projects were quite promising, supposing that accessible health insurance funds would be created even in Siberian taiga. But conferences of gold industry entrepreneurs tended to support the moderate ones. Even the duration of operational season was disputed since it had effect on payments size. However, even these efforts were made without great effect and failed to create a stable insurance system. As seen from the study it was the consequence of entrepreneurs’ effort to share responsibility for insurance with the state institutions and workers themselves. The problem of health insurance was a part of the labour issue, which appeared to be unmanageable.

In this article we apply BRST approach to Lagrangian construction for massive fermionic fields in d-dimensional anti de Sitter space. The obtained Lagrangian theory is a reducible gauge model containing, besides the basic field, a number of auxiliary (Stuckelberg) fields and the order of reducibility grows with the value of the rank of the antisymmetric field. We show that one can get rid of all the auxiliary fields and the final Lagrangian for fermionic antisymmetric field is formulated only in terms of basic field.
