| 5852 | The paper deals with the issue of the professional communicative competence that is essential for the engineering specialists and academics to participate in the international scientific conferences. This is important, as the inadequate level of the English language, specifically, with regard to the academic writing and academic communication skills is considered one of the factors hindering the transition of Russian universities into the global research and education community. The focus of attention is the rapidly developing field of composite materials and technologies. The author proposes using a multi-level approach to forming the professional English communicative skills in the engineering university, which includes an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) course for academics. The specifics of the approach are illustrated by a case of Russia-UK conferences in the field of advanced materials. The paper presents the analysis of the international scientific collaboration and the excerpts from the survey of the prospective learners at the “Spacerocket composite structures” department at Bauman Moscow State Technological University. The data served as the basis for the needs assessment procedure, which, in turn, was used to formulate the goals and objectives and select the linguistic and functional content for the course. | 5861 | This article deals with considering of some questions of teaching discipline “Informatics” to students of liberal arts colleges. In modern conditions, it is important for students as future specialists to form their information culture. In this regard, information systems and technologies are intensively used in education. One of the instruments of forming of information culture of students is the discipline of “Informatics” which is taught to the students studying in the directions of preparation “Economics” and “Conflictology”. As the obligatory components of competences that must be formed in the course of studying the discipline “Informatics”, the skills of processing of text information, preparation of data in spreadsheets and developments of databases can be singled out. Therefore, one of the main competencies that are formed in the course of studying the discipline “Informatics”, in our opinion, is the ability to use modern technical means and information technologies (PK-8) for solving analytical and research problems. Analysis of the experience of teachers of the Department of Informatics and Mathematics of Saint-Petersburg University of Humanitarian and Social Sciences shows that the educational and methodological support of independent work on the discipline “computer science”, develops at a fairly high methodological level and is actively used in educational process. However, with the development of information technologies, including the constant updating of the programs of the MS Office package, it becomes necessary to update the workshop. Therefore, the author based on the already available materials developed an electronic course on the discipline “Informatics”, placed in the SPbGUP system of independent work support (www.edu.gup.ru). | 5872 | In the organisation educational interaction today there are dynamic processes associated with its transformation into a multicultural and multilingual interactive environment, the implementation of the tasks of competence-based learning, updating the bank of technological tools and methods of educational and methodological support. The foregoing determines the steady interest of scientists in the study of educational texts as an independent variety of texts. The main provisions of the history of the study of educational texts as a type of text and scientific object in modern humanities are systematized and summarized. The material of the study was special scientific sources of methodological and linguistic orientation, which form the basis of the modern theory of educational text. The research methodology is the complex use of logical (analysis, synthesis, analogy) and theoretical (generalization, systematization, description) general scientific methods. Based on the specifics shown in relation to the interpretation of the educational text from the standpoint of didactic and linguistic approaches, this type of text is defined as an independent unit – a speech work with multifunctionality and a set of textual features that are updated differently in different situations of educational interaction between the teacher and the student. Among the implemented functions, the key functions are communicative and didactic, and the latter has the status of the dominant one. Text features are characterized by a set of ways, forms and means of presentation at the genre, stylistic and discursive text levels. The reason for the polyphony that exists today in the scientific community regarding the definition of the essential content, structural, pragmatic features of an educational text is the impossibility of an unambiguous interpretation of its genre and stylistic nature, discursive implementation space, as well as the existence of multiple interpretations of the cultural and conceptual resources of texts of the analyzed type. At the present stage of development of the humanities, the educational text is an interesting object of scientific research, comprehended as an independent type of text, which has both general text properties and specific ones. The prospects of the research are related to the further expansion of the understanding of the educational text in accordance with the most relevant areas of research in science, in particular, within the framework of the problems of linguoculturology, discourse studies, linguoconceptology and conceptual didactics. | 5877 | One of the priority strategic tasks of the Russian state is to strengthen the country's sovereignty in order to achieve leadership and ensure human mental security. As a result, the key line of development of the higher education system is the renewal of existing master's degree training practices, including for the manifestation and development of human leadership potential. The analysis of the scientific literature in this area of research revealed the problem of insufficient knowledge of the issues of developing the leadership potential of future managerial personnel through the implementation of master's degree programs at a pedagogical university. The purpose of this work is to rethink the essence and possibilities of developing leadership potential in the process of professional training of future managerial personnel in the master's degree program of the Pedagogical University. The following methods are used in the study: phenomenological description, included observation, survey (questionnaire, interview). Based on the analysis, systematization and generalization of the results of scientific research on the topic of the work, the interpretation of the concept of “leadership potential” is clarified in accordance with modern ideas in the field of pedagogical knowledge. It is based on the acmeological principles of human-centricity, open cooperation, interconnection and continuous self-improvement. The basic skills of the leader of an educational organization that are relevant for executives are shown. The main factors preventing the manifestation and development of the leadership potential of the head are given, namely: the lack of minimum uniform indicators for the quality of the head's work, the reluctance of managers to leave the comfort zone, misunderstanding of the purpose, mission in the profession, cultural code, lack of awareness of their identity. The key indicators demonstrating the development of the leadership potential of a modern head of an educational organization, which are taken into account when mastering academic disciplines at a university, are substantiated: high motivational potential of work, willingness to take responsibility for oneself, perform tasks inaccessible to others, a high level of independence of activity, etc. At the same time, the ways of updating the master's degree programs for future management personnel for the development of their leadership potential are proposed, based on the experience of Tomsk State Pedagogical University. | 5888 | We propose a strategy to infer the transition redshift zda, which characterizes the passage through the universe decelerated to accelerated phases, in the framework f(R) gravities. To this end, we numerically reconstruct f(z), i. e. the corresponding f(R) function re-expressed in terms of the redshift z and we show how to match f(z) with cosmography. In particular, we relate f(z) and its derivatives to the cosmographic coefficients, i. e. H0, q0 and j0 and demonstrate that its corresponding evolution may be framed by means of an effective logarithmic dark energy term ΩX, slightly departing from the case of a pure cosmological constant. Afterwards, we show that our model predicts viable transition redshift constraints, which agree with ΛCDM. To do so, we compute the corresponding zda in terms of cosmographic outcomes and find that zda ≤ 1. Finally, we reproduce an effective f(z) and show that this class of models is fairly well compatible with present-time data. To do so, we get numerical constraints employing Monte Carlo fits with the Union 2.1 supernova survey and with the Hubble measurement data set. | 5890 | Introduction. The training of a new generation of highly educated personnel capable of acquiring and reproducing knowledge requires fundamental changes in the assessment of cadet learning outcomes. Knowledge control involves assessing the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired by cadets, while quality control aims at determining the level and enhancing the professional skills of teachers. These areas of control are used to assess the extent to which the learning objectives have been achieved; to identify problems that cadets encounter in the learning process; to stimulate cadets’ independent work; to determine the professionalism of the teacher; to obtain information necessary for the improvement of teaching, research and methodological work. As there are no specific unified models for implementing the assessment of cadet learning achievements, the methods and means of assessment are determined by the internal regulations of the military higher education institution. In this regard, there is a need to substantiate the theoretical basis and practical experience of training methodology for controlling the learning activities of military school teachers as a factor in improving the quality of evaluating the learning achievements of cadets of the Military Institute of the National Guard Troops. This problem can be solved by using a multifunctional control of the professional training of a competence-oriented specialist. The aim is to develop and implement in educational practice a multifunctional control in assessing the development of military-professional competences of cadets, aimed at improving the quality of their theoretical training and competences. Material and methods. Source analysis, testing of cadets and teachers, pedagogical experiment, mathematical method of evaluating the achievements of cadets’ learning success. Results and discussion. The essence of different approaches to evaluating the learning outcomes of cadets in military higher education institutions is revealed. The main types of evaluation of the results of their educational activities are revealed: diagnostic, current, periodic (thematic), and final evaluation, and their corresponding functions – diagnostic, controlling, managerial, educational, analytical-informational, motivational, and educational – are identified. The necessity of development and implementation in educational practice of multifunctional control in evaluating the development of military-professional competences of cadets, aimed at improving the quality of their theoretical and professional training, was substantiated. The study has shown that the set of control functions in the educational process is a system of multifunctional control of professional training of a competent specialist, which is characterised by the integrated use of various forms and methods of control on the basis of complementarity. The didactic multifunctionality of control is ensured by the realisation of its main functions, the level of provision of which in the educational process has an impact on the growth of cadet learning efficiency. The multifunctional quality control of cadet knowledge is a holistic management tool that includes diagnosis, investigation, control and evaluation. Conclusion. This study has shown that one of the promising ways to assess the quality of training is to develop and implement in educational practice a multifunctional control in assessing the development of military-professional competences of cadets, aimed at improving the quality of their theoretical training and practical skills. It is based on adequate psychological and pedagogical approaches, the use of pedagogical modelling and the selection of the most effective organisational and pedagogical conditions that will ensure the effectiveness of multifunctional control of future officers’ professional training. | 5891 | The problem of communication’s harmonization in different spheres is relevant in accordance with the modern communicative-cognitive paradigm of linguistic knowledge. This is especially true of media communication in connection with the media vector of development of up-to-date Russian studies. The promotion of the interview as one of the leading genres is of interest in terms of the interaction of its participants and as an object of perception of the mass addressee who perceives this media discourse. The purpose of the article is, based on the theory of regulativity as one of the directions of the communicative style of the text, to identify some linguistic mechanisms that form a harmonizing dialogue between a journalist and his guests as interview participants. The study is based on the use of the methodology and conceptual and terminological apparatus of the theory of regulativity developed in the communicative style of the text, the use of discursive, linguo-semantic, semantic-stylistic analysis. The material of the study was the author’s program “Very Personal” in the format of an interview with the famous journalist Viktor Loshak on the ORT channel. The effect of harmonious communication in the interview genre is achieved due to the overall positive and trusting emotional tone of the dialogue between the journalist and the guests; installation on the actualization of the objective successes and merits of the invited participants by the host program; the predominance of communication strategies and tactics of support, consent, compliment, self-presentation of the journalist and guests. The format of the author’s program includes a system of individual media genres, united by a common idea and image of the author of the program, which determine the integrity of the general media discourse, its coherence, conceptual completeness, communicative and pragmatic effect. In addition to the key media genre of the interview, the author’s program on ORT V. Loshak “Very personal” includes informative genres: presentation of the program and the guest, as well as etiquette genres: greeting, compliment, gratitude. Among the extralinguistic regulatory means, that form the effect of communication harmonization, the following stand out: the choice of guests – famous public figures; musical screen saver for the program; non-verbal behavior of the journalist and program participants (friendly look, supportive gestures, facial expressions); logical-compositional deployment of a discourse aimed at emphasizing the personal and professional merits of invited media persons who are of interest to a mass addressee. Linguistic regulatory means and structures that have a communicative-pragmatic effect include: quoting a guest, pick-up questions; clarifying questions, including options for answers to choose from; questions aimed at revealing the merits of the guest and his social significance; supporting remarks, the use of ameliorative evaluative vocabulary and vocabulary with the semantics of agreement, support; the appropriate use of figurative and expressive means and an explicit regulatory strategy of an amplifying-convergent type. The use of the theory of regulativity and its terminology allows us to judge some of the mechanisms for the formation of the communicative-pragmatic effect of harmonious communication between a journalist and guests during an interview in the author’s program “Very Personal” by Viktor Loshak on Public Television. The obtained observations are of interest for further development of the problem of the effectiveness of media communication and the study of the mechanisms of speech influence in the dialogue of communicants. In the study it was found that latency of reaction and indicators of the volume of physical activity have no statistically significant intergroup distinctions while in experimental group (PSP) indicators “efficiency” and “stability” are statistically more significant than the results of the control group. It is possible to assume that the processes of attention of PSP employees (readiness for the emergency action) proceed more effectively than those of the ordinary staff of Department of Internal Affairs. Most likely, the formation of the identity of employees of PSP are influenced by some factors: professional activity in the conditions of extreme situations which create difficulties in the solution of professional tasks, affect success of actions and demand high professional stability from employees, special psychological readiness, ability to work harmoniously in special conditions. | 5894 | The problem of equality of educational opportunities, access to education for different categories of the population is one of the priorities of the Social and Political Studies, both in modern Russia and all over the world. The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyse the main factors influencing equal opportunity in education of rural and urban pupils. Rural schools are not provided enough with the support and resources they need to keep pace with today’s educational demands. Rural schools failed to respond to current developments, changes, and trends in education. The major finding of our investigation was that family played a crucial role in equalizing educational opportunities. Parents could play a compensatory role in ensuring equal education in rural schools. Society and educators tried to ignore the fact that the majority of low performing schools were in rural, economically struggling areas. Most of these schools lacked sufficient equipment and resources to accommodate every pupil effectively. But rural schools have a serious advantage over urban ones – more integral perception of pupils by teachers and less formality in teachers/ pupils communication. Another solution to this problem could be teacher development courses tailoring to the real needs of rural schools or targeted Master’s Programmes in Education. | 5895 | Introduction. The article deals with the vocabulary of the modern journalistic text. The basis for the study are the German-language newspaper articles, which relate to the thematic category “politics”, the content of which reflects the changes in the political life of the country. The method of continuous sampling was the selection of appropriate lexical units from the data sources. The scientific novelty of the research consists in understanding the processes occurring in the word formation of the modern German language. Material and methods. Newspaper lexemes are the object of study. The goal-setting criterion in the work is the word-formation analysis of language material. In this regard, the most productive in modern German language turned out to be such methods of word-formation as word composition and word production. The revealed structural types of composites, a detailed description of their composition occupy a significant place in the work. The frequency components of such vocabulary in modern newspaper political texts are anglicisms. Internal bonding mechanisms influence the formation of the complex structure of composite units. In addition, the authors made an attempt to more or less generalize the semantics of the words that form the composites. The word-formation characteristic of the political newspaper lexicon takes into account the part of speech of the lexical units inherent in some grammatical features. The subject of research in the work, along with complex words, are also derived lexemes. Among them, derivative nouns as well as verbs predominate. Affixes, most of which are suffixes, are frequency ones. The methodological component of this study includes as the main method of component analysis, the method of wordformation models, descriptions. In summing up the results of the study, a quantitative method was used. Conclusion. The results of the study show the dominant position of the compound words revealed in the Germanlanguage political newspaper vocabulary. Borrowings from English are productive. Presented in General, the scientific justification can be used in the course of lexicology of the German language. The data obtained as a result of the study can be used in the preparation of analyses and reviews of trends in the development of modern German word formation. In conclusion, the prospects for further development of issues related to the word-formation specifics of the German-language journalistic vocabulary are outlined. | 5898 | There is an urgent demand to teach students to read electronic resources efficiently, especially in foreign languages, due to the increasing amount of their independent work based on the Internet reading. To create educational-speech situation accompanied with an instruction and general setting for independent reading does not only mean making an effective instrument to form reading motivation but also making a means of its management. The article discusses different types of instructions with the gradual reduction of their components number which presumes the development of fundamental skills of independent work – self-planning, self-control and self-correction. Eventual transformation of instruction into general setting – to find and use information in the further communication, gradually converts training reading into specialist real professional activity based on hypertext reading. | 5899 | Introduction. The modern level of convergence of sciences and technologies leads to changes in the content of school subjects and their new synthesis in the educational process. In regional school practice, new interdisciplinary connections and integrated courses are emerging, partially provided with methodological materials. The conditions and results of the development of convergent education in the region should be taken into account when preparing future teachers. The opening of pedagogical quantoriums and technoparks on the basis of higher pedagogical education organizations as a condition for the material and technical support of the educational process contributes to the formation of a broad natural science worldview of students-teachers. The analysis of research in the field of convergent education will allow us to form an idea of a new educational paradigm, to determine ways to transform the process of training a school teacher. Aim and objectives. To study the practices of implementing convergent learning in the general education process, as well as requests for training teachers with new qualities that allow the teacher to introduce these technologies into the educational process. Material and methods. The research methods were: a survey containing questions with a choice of one or multiple answers, and with free answers; grouping of answers; clustering of opinions, judgments and assessments; generalization and analysis. Results and discussion. Based on the conducted research, a rating of specialized education and integrated courses was established in 19 schools. The continuity of integration education between primary and high schools, opportunities and deficits for development has been established. Respondents see the best opportunity to implement convergent education in the implementation of project-based learning. Courses and events are equally evaluated. Conclusion. The conclusions obtained on the basis of the analysis of the research results allow us to assert that there are deficits: experimental activities in existing convergent school courses; carriers of interdisciplinary knowledge; integration of such school subjects as Technology – Robotics, Physics – Biology; equipping with teaching materials. At the same time, the positive trend that has emerged in the region in displaying the convergence of natural and exact sciences in school and university education, revealing the relationship of these sciences with technologies on the example of megaprojects, allows us to assert the possibility of solving problems. The results obtained will enrich future teachers with additional knowledge and universal competencies.
