Goncharova T.A. THE IMAGE OF POLISH DIASPORA IN SIBERIA IN MODERN POLISH MASS MEDIA (BASED ON THE MATERIALS OF «NEW POLAND» JOURNAL). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 10 (151). P. 134-139

The article is devoted to studying the image of Polish diaspora of Siberia in modern Poland. The materials under study were publications in the monthly journal written in Russian “Новая Польша” (The New Poland) issued in Poland since 1999. The linguistic means creating the image considering the binary opposition “friend – foe” are being analyzed in this work. The analysis of periodicals has shown that in narrations about Poles in Siberia the exiled Poles are in the limelight. Their inclusion into “friends” by modern Polish society is observed. The vocabulary markers of two levels are met: group level (our) and personal (my). It was defined that among the properties allowing considering the exiled Poles as “friends” are as follows: birth in Poland, the status of exiled, i. e. forcible transfer to Siberia in XIX century or in the middle of ХХ, lack of mindset to integrate with the Siberian society, striving for good education. As the exiled Poles are considered being “friends”, their perception of Siberia as of the place for exile became one of the main components of historical perception of Poles and therefore the self-identification aspect. The information about modern Siberian Poles on the pages of “Новая Польша” newspaper looks more decent. However it is observed that while their description the vocabulary characterizing Siberian Poles with a definite degree of “foreignness” is often met. The Poland nominates are often observed when creating the image of modern Siberian Poles; however the rest context of the text makes them lose their value. Being born in Siberia and its perception as the motherland as well as loss of Polish language became the main factors of distance formation. Therefore, the application of binary opposition “friend – foe” showed the double nature of perception of Polish diaspora in Siberia by Polish society. Exiled Poles are felt closer and therefore defined as “friends”. Some kind of foreignness is seen in regards to modern Siberian Poles.

Keywords: media discourse, Poles, Siberia, Poland, “friend – foe”, ethnic identity

This is important, as the inadequate level of the English language, specifically, with regard to the academic writing and academic communication skills is considered one of the factors hindering the transition of Russian universities into the global research and education community. The focus of attention is the rapidly developing field of composite materials and technologies. The author proposes using a multi-level approach to forming the professional English communicative skills in the engineering university, which includes an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) course for academics. The specifics of the approach are illustrated by a case of Russia-UK conferences in the field of advanced materials. The paper presents the analysis of the international scientific collaboration and the excerpts from the survey of the prospective learners at the “Spacerocket composite structures” department at Bauman Moscow State Technological University. The data served as the basis for the needs assessment procedure, which, in turn, was used to formulate the goals and objectives and select the linguistic and functional content for the course. The ESP course had a positive impact on the international research activity of the department, in particular, the increase in the number of post-graduate students participating in the international conferences.

Capozziello S., Luongo O. COSMOGRAPHIC TRANSITION REDSHIFT IN F(R) GRAVITY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 12 (153). P. 39-43

We propose a strategy to infer the transition redshift zda, which characterizes the passage through the universe decelerated to accelerated phases, in the framework f(R) gravities. To this end, we numerically reconstruct f(z), i. e. the corresponding f(R) function re-expressed in terms of the redshift z and we show how to match f(z) with cosmography. In particular, we relate f(z) and its derivatives to the cosmographic coefficients, i. e. H0, q0 and j0 and demonstrate that its corresponding evolution may be framed by means of an effective logarithmic dark energy term ΩX, slightly departing from the case of a pure cosmological constant. Afterwards, we show that our model predicts viable transition redshift constraints, which agree with ΛCDM. To do so, we compute the corresponding zda in terms of cosmographic outcomes and find that zda ≤ 1. Finally, we reproduce an effective f(z) and show that this class of models is fairly well compatible with present-time data. To do so, we get numerical constraints employing Monte Carlo fits with the Union 2.1 supernova survey and with the Hubble measurement data set.

Afanasyeva Y.Y. LERMONTOV’S MOTIVES IN THE STORY “THE COTTAGE ON THE PETERGOF ROAD” BY M. ZHUKOVA. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 6 (224). P. 17-25

Introduction. Currently, researchers are attracted by the work of the authors of the so-called “second” series, whose literary creations have been unjustly forgotten. What is still important is the role played by these works in the literary process of their time. Material and methods. The material of the study was the story of M. S. Zhukova “Dacha on the Petergof road” and “Princess Mary” by M. Yu. Lermontov, as well as the literary context of that time. The research methods were gender analysis, structural-typological approach, biographical method. Results and discussion. The plot and textual analysis of “female” prose showed not only the correlation of the main images and plot motifs of M. S. Zhukova with the previous literature, but the originality of the presentation of the author’s material. In the context of the emerging movement for women’s rights, the writer tried to bring to public discussion the issues of family and marriage, the role of women in society. Not being able to raise these topics directly, the female author uses certain stylistic devices (italics, ellipsis, question marks, exclamation marks), author’s digressions within the plot. Very often she uses hidden quotes and reminiscences to the works of famous authors (A. S. Pushkin, V. A. Zhukovsky, M. Yu. Lermontov). Her traditional, at first glance, main characters acquire a different semantic load. The male image created by the writer, having the external features of a classic hero-lover (former hussar, prince, guardsman), turns out to be a “grand seigneur”, i.e. a man only pretending to be a gentleman. M. Zhukova also shows a different view of marriage of convenience, when the cynical and strong-willed heiress to a wealthy fortune herself arranges a family union-deal with the prince. Conclusion. The echo of romantic literature is the provincial Zoya, whose madness becomes an indicator of the heroine’s lack of viability in the modern world. Thus, the storyline in the writer’s work becomes more complex, the literary idea merges with life, and secondary characters have not only a connecting function, having received their further development in subsequent works of realist writers.

Bogosyan M.V. Principles of Specialized Training Learning in the Modern Education System. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 5 (235). P. 17-24

A solid foundation for comprehensive personal development is specialized training learning, which contributes to the harmonious development of the learner, taking into account his potential, physical and mental health, through differentiation and individualization of education. The idea of specialized training learning is not new, but its relevance remains high in the current time interval. The principles underlying specialized training learning have been explored by both domestic and foreign researchers. The assessment of their relevance in a changing reality, considering the requirements of modern society and the professional environment, forms the basis of this article. In this regard, the interdependence of specialized training learning principles was established in the study, corresponding to the levels of research methodology. Two levels were identified: systemic and intrasystemic principles. A comparative analysis of the content of systemic principles made it possible to determine the list of postulates that continue to form the basis of specialized training learning, namely: the principle of democratization and humanization; the principle of adequacy and prospectiveness; the principle of integration and differentiation; the principle of variability and alternativeness. The study of intrasystemic principles enabled the formation of their structure, highlighting two components: the fundamental postulates on which teaching in heterogeneous classes is based, and the fundamental postulates on which the content of a particular academic discipline is based. The content of these principles is disclosed in the article. The principles underlying teaching in heterogeneous classes are: the principle of social interaction, the principle of acknowledging the diversity of all students. The principles underlying the content of a particular academic discipline are: the principle of aligning the educational content with the level and pace of social, economic, and societal development to achieve the set goals; the principle of accessibility of learning content for its qualitative assimilation, combined with scientific and practice-oriented components; the principle of continuity, which serves as a connecting principle, ensuring the structural integrity of education at all its stages.

We solve number of extremal problems on the best mean square approximation of functions defined on the whole line R := (−∞,+∞) by entire functions of exponential type σ > 0 . Calculated exact inequalities between the best approximations of the value of 2 f ∈L (R) and integrals containing special moduli of continuity of the m-th order associated with the operator Steklov introduced in V. A. Abilova and F. V. Abilovoy. For the widths were calculated the exact mean values formulated by G. G. Magaril-Ilyaev for the classes functions ( ) 2 f ∈L r (R) satisfying the condition – generalized modulus of continuity m order derivative ( ) – the arbitrary increasing function Φ(0) = 0. The article is focused on the main historical stages of formation of ideologeme ‘self-government’. The content and functions of ideologeme are very conservative and determined by the peculiarities of culture. It is supposed that the cyclicity of the USA development affects the relevance of the discussed ideologeme. This article presents a try to divide the history of formation of ideologeme into periods that characterize it from the perspective of the dominant semiotic function. The American presidents’ speeches since the 1930s have been analyzed to this end. In different political times the presidents of the USA appeal to certain values. The author comes to the conclusion that the popularity of self–government is indicative of the confrontation of conservative and liberal ideologies. During the history of the USA the ideologeme ‘self–government’ has been developed in involutional way.
