Varda V.E. PROBLEM OF EASTERN KHANTY PREVERBS CLASSIFICATION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 6 (171). P. 46-49

The paper reviews preverbs of Eastern Khanty dialects. The main focus of the discussion is to summarize and to make a classification of these units of speech. The analysis is carried out from the functional semantic point of view. Preverbs are adverbial, usually lative, particles that modify spatial characteristic of the verbs they are used with. Usually preverbs go before the verb and are connected with it morphologically and syntactically. Seldom, a negative particle, direct object or an auxiliary particle may occur between them. Preverbs are believed to be a separate part of speech because from the point of view of phonetics they do not form a single word with a verb that follows. Preverbs may be classified according to the following points: 1) source meaning; 2) functional and semantic characteristics; 3) ability to carry out a perfectivation function; 4) a type of verb.

Keywords: Khanty, preverb, perfectivation, preverbal particle, source meaning

Pronina A.N., Emelyanova I.D. THE INTERRELATION OF FOSTER PARENTS’ COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE AND THE SOCIALIZATION OF PRESCHOOL AGED CHILDREN ENROLLED IN A FAMILY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 12 (189). P. 162-168

There is a speculation on the relationship of communicative competence of foster parents and socialization of children in substitute (foster) families. Comparative analysis of indicators of communicative competence of foster parents and socialization of children of preschool age allowed to determine their direct relationship. Identified in foster family high level of communication in different spheres (life, cognition, social world, inner world of a child) corresponds to the high level of socialization of preschool children enrolled in a family. The results of diagnosis of foster parents, demonstrating the restriction of communication on the topics of social orientation or the lack of it on any of the scales correspond to the results of characterizing the low level of formation of the structural components of socialization of children. Foster parents who have restricted the content of communication on the topics of social orientation, will not be able to give children complete, specific knowledge and skills of social orientation. The conducted diagnostic study confirms the crucial importance for the socialization of children in foster family communicative competence of parents. It is also an important condition for the correction of existing shortcomings of the communicative activities of children in a foster family. The obtained results of the diagnostic study suggest the need for correction of the behaviour of many parents in relation to their foster children.

Fonova E.G., Shitts O.A. On translator' and interpreter’s professional competences in the era of artificial intelligence. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2025. Issue 1 (237). P. 148-156

The subject of modern professional competencies of translators and interpreters and relevancy of them adjustment in the era of the progress in machine translation and artificial intelligence are discussed. The problem of correlation of translation and MT-editing is defined; the question of changing the status of the translator and the authorship of the products is also raised. The point of the requirement to notice that translation/ interpreting was made by artificial intelligence is debatable. The ethical and confidential considerations of translation when using artificial intelligence technology are the important aspects considered in the article. Under present conditions of increased competition in the market of higher education, when words about the disappearance of the translators are becoming more insistent and a post-editor of ma chine translation, who will only need to learn how to use machine translation tools in simple professional training or additional education courses, is the most likely successor, the problem of translators’/ interpreters’ studies is strongly focused. Thus situated the key criteria for measuring of effectiveness of performance is the competence of a MT-post-editor to evaluate how accurate an AI-assisted translation is. Particularly notes that there are a number of areas in which artificial intelligence does not outperform human intelligence, therefore not be able in the near future to replace a human translator: for example, literary translation, namely translation of poetry, translation from ancient languages (Latin, ancient Greek) and medieval literature translation. In the case of literary translation, weak productivity of artificial intelligence relates to the problem of transfer of the pragmatic component, and in the context of ancient texts – the lack of database for teaching artificial intelligence. Thus, the importance of union of classical training in translation and acquisition of modern translation technologies for the successful integration of graduates into the professional sphere is emphasized.

In the section «Network discourse: approaches to research» against the background of related terms and concepts the choice of the term network discourse is justified, its broad and narrow understanding is described. The narrow understanding of the term is characteristic of the discursive approach to the analysis of speech communication with the emphasis on the following characteristics: realization in social networks, informal communication of users united by a common interest, the possibility of free access to it. The issues of legal culture and legal ideas of the peasantry population of Russia in the process of agra¬rian colonization of the regions behind the Urals are analyzed in the article. M.K. Churkin, generally ac¬cepting the thesis of the predominant role of the re¬gular legal grounds in the mentality of peasants, still believes that the measures taken in the post-refor¬mation period couldn't help influencing legal mentali¬ty of the peasants of European Russia. New ideas of law predominance in the social and economical life (mainly in agriculture) were transferred by the Rus¬sian settlers in 70* - 90th of the 19th century and at the beginning of 20th century to the colonized regions of Siberia. At the same time the legal ideas of the peasants - settlers and native residents of Siberia (whose mentality was formed in the condition of state remoteness and land expanse) often differed greatly which caused the land conflicts.

We present a new model of scattering a quantum particle on the potential step, which reconstructs the prehistory of the subensembles of transmitted and reflected particles by their final states. Unlike the conventional one this model predicts the existence of a transitional spatial region behind the potential step where the probability to find reflected particles is nonzero and the average velocity of transmitted particles monotonously varies between asymptotic values. For both subprocesses we define the dwell and asymptotic group times.

Introduction. The object of this research is the French advertising discourse in the sphere of insurance services, and the subject is its speech genre differentiation. The topicality of this study is explained by the following factors: firstly, the above the discourse was not previously studied, secondly, it was carried out in line with the modern anthropocentric paradigm, thirdly, discursive studies still remain the focus of attention of modern domestic and foreign linguists, fourthly, the description of the genre palette of thematic discourse replenishes the repertoire of speech genres, and, finally, the French insurance market is one of the largest insurance sectors in the world, characterized by a high level of insurance culture, the historically established system of industries. The aim of this work is to analyze the French-language thematic discourse in the field of professional communication and to identify its speech genre palette. Material and methods. The methods of the research are the discursive analysis and the “extended” model of the speech genre. The material for the research is the promotional products of the insurance services of the leading insurance companies in France. Results and discussion. The advertising discourse in the field of insurance services is an integral part of the French insurance discourse. French institutional insurance discourse refers to the object thematic discourses, which are complex, multi-component, hybrid formations born at the intersection of the insurance, legal, academic, scientific discourse in the field of insurance, the advertising insurance discourse, the medical insurance discourse, the economic (marketing) discourse, the financial, the banking, the social, the managerial discourses in the field of insurance. Promotion of the insurance products to the market, i.e. their commercialization needs special advertising. Firstly, insurance is a service that is remote in time; accordingly, insurance services more than any other product need constant advertising. Secondly, the insurance company together with the insurance policy sells the client confidence in the future. The advertising discourse is defined as a special kind of the imperative discourse, which occupies an intermediate position between the argumentative (persuasive) and the propaganda (manipulative) discourses. The verbal and the visual semiotic codes are used to create an advertising text. The article describes the speech genres of printed materials of the French advertising discourse in the field of insurance services. Conclusion. Kriklivec E.V. Neo-mythological ways of embodying the theme of mentoring in the novels by Mariam Petrosyan “The Gray House” and Victor Kozko “Chronicle of an orphanage garden”. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 1 (231). P. 132-140

The comparative study of closely related literatures seems to be a relevant direction in modern humanities. This perspective of the study allows us to identify the creative uniqueness of the work, the national basis and methods of literary reception through the disclosure of literary and sociocultural connections, and forms the openness of consciousness to the perception of foreign cultural codes and meanings. The creative individuality of Viktor Kozko was formed in the Belarusian literary process of the last third of the twentieth century, when there was an increase in the existential orientation of prose. Mythopoeticism is characterized by its rootedness in the universal humanistic constants of national specificity. The main stylistic changes occur at the junction of the artistic systems of realism – modernism, realism – postmodernism. The emergence of diffuse phenomena is due to both the individual author’s creative experiment and the general stylistic trends of the era. Modernist intentions in Belarusian literature have a pronounced folklore and mythological basis, which determined the predominance of authentic elements, helped to verbalize unconscious categories, making them the subject of author and reader reflection. Mariam Petrosyan worked on the novel “The Gray House” for almost two decades (1991–2009). The literary process at the turn of the 20th–21st centuries, on the one hand, demonstrates the completion of a certain sociocultural stage, on the other, it indicates the beginning of a new historical and cultural cycle. It is no coincidence that the allegorical nature of the novel satisfies the aesthetic and cognitive needs of the time – to create a metonymic image of modern society. Both prose writers actively use various types of secondary artistic conventions. Depending on the dominant type of convention and the dominant artistic technique, the following ways of enriching realistic aesthetics with means of non-classical artistry can be distinguished: actualization of surreal aesthetics; synthesis of realistic and fantastic; appeal to folklore and mythological motifs, mythological ways of understanding the world. The methods of mythological quotation used in the novels by Mariam Petrosyan “The Gray House” and Viktor Kozko’s “Chronicle of an orphanage garden” when embodying the images of teachers and students, topoi of the house and garden, neomythological methods of modeling reality allowed the writers to create a unique spatiotemporal organization of works, explicate national cultural codes.

The article deals with the aesthetic views of A. V. Makedonov – a famous literary critic and historian of the Soviet literature and post-Soviet periods. He was a supporter of the scientific concept of perceiving art as a constantly evolving knowledge of objective reality in the form of a second subjective-objective reality. The basic aesthetic views of Makedonov are connected with German classical aesthetics, particularly the philosophy of G.W.F. Gegel, the works of V. G. Belinsky and N. G. Chernyshevsky. In his works of the 1960–1980s, he was engaged in a polemic with Russian and foreign supporters of the theory of semiotics, in particular with Yu. M. Lotman. The researcher tried to prove that, despite a number of accurate statements, his opponents failed to determine the specificity of art as they tried to reduce all the originality of artistic creativity to the characteristics of different sign systems and as well as to reject the study of artistic image as a way to acquire knowledge about objective reality.
