| 6201 | The article examines the influence of the city newspaper’s discourse on the system of the evaluative means having the specificity determined by the memorial and local historical function of the regional edition. Semantic and stylistic analysis of the materials of the newspaper “Kuznetskiy rabochiy” (Novokuznetsk) linked to the local historical dominant “F. M. Dostoevsky in Kuznetsk” shows that the meliorative contexts prevail. Due to the semantic and stylistic analysis of the evaluative contexts participating in the representation of the examined local historical dominant, it is possible to identify two connected components of the value content: the Kuznetsk events in the writer’s life as the cultural heritage of the city and F. M. Dostoevsky’s contribution to the culture. The first component is more concretized, while the second component, which is the base of the first one from the logical point of view, is presented by the repeated periphrases and appendices characterizing F. M. Dostoevsky as an artist in the general meliorative (normative) aspect. The materials not linked to the local historical dominant “F. M. Dostoevsky in Kuznetsk” present the great writer’s contribution to the Russian and world culture in a more multidimensional way. The memorial and local historical function of the regional edition determines, primarily, the ethical evaluation actualization; however, it interacts with other types of the evaluation as well – teleological, normative, and aesthetic ones. During the realization of such topics as the importance of F. M. Dostoevsky’s stay for Kuznetsk, the preservation of the memory of this stay, the value of the contact with the spiritual space of the memory, the emotional and expressive means are constantly used in the evaluative contexts. The emotional and expressive intensity of the contexts increases together with the role of the ethical evaluation. In the examined newspaper materials, the topic of the preservation of cultural memory is the central one among the topics representing the hyper-topic of Dostoevsky’s stay in Kuznetsk as the cultural heritage of the city. Particularly, it is presented not only by the meliorative pole but also by the pejorative one actualizing the topic of cultural oblivion. Pejorative contexts are not isolated; they are used in correlation with the meliorative ones, which, due to such means as contrast, increases the pragmatic effect. Prevailing of the meliorative contexts in the representation of the local historical dominant “F. M. Dostoevsky in Kuznetsk” confirms the sustainable ideals of the regional community and the stable range of the materially embodied values discussed in the city newspaper. Keywords: evaluation, evaluative means, emotional and expressive means, regional media discourse, city newspaper, local historical dominant | 1694 | |||||
| 6202 | Introduction. The scientific heritage of the Russian philosopher and culturologist M. M. Bakhtin is a significant and independent object of interpretation in modern humanities. It seems interesting to consider the meanings embedded in the works of the scientist in the aspect of identifying the specifics of their reception on the part of the carriers of a specific national picture of the world. In modern China, there is an expansion of interest in the study of the creative discourse of M. M. Bakhtin, which makes it necessary to try to systematize the accumulated research experience. Aim and objectives. The purpose of the article is to systematize the idea of the key provisions in the interpretation of meanings in the doctrine of symbols and the theory of dialogue by M.M. Bakhtin, contained in the works of Chinese philologists, taking into account the specifics of the national scientific picture of the world and the universal interpretation options that exist in the minds of representatives of the world community. Material and methods. The material of the study was the texts of M.M. Bakhtin as a primary source for the author’s interpretation, as well as scientific sources representing the understanding of the scientific heritage of M. M. Bakhtin in Chinese Humanities. The research methods are textual, comparative analysis, systematization, categorization and generalization of scientific information, introspection. Results and discussion. Generalization of the results of the interpretation of scientific texts by M. M. Bakhtin, available in Chinese humanities today, allows us to identify a certain model of interpretation. It is based on the core of universal meanings that are revealed in the context of the functioning of various and numerous interpretations of Bakhtin’s teachings in modern world science. The category of key universal meanings in the field of interpretation of Bakhtin’s doctrine of signs-symbols includes the interpretation of a sign in relation to the understanding of its meaning in the context of a specific communicative-speech situation. In the theory of dialogue, the majority of world scientists recognize the position of dialogue as a form of deployment of communication of any type, a means of intercultural interaction and the formation of a sense of self-identification. The specifics of understanding the concept of M. M. Bakhtin in Chinese philology consists, first of all, in the desire to combine interpretation options that exist in line with both Western and European science. The core and essence of Bakhtin’s academic thought, according to most researchers from China, is the theory of dialogue, the main goal of which is to emphasize a positive humanistic spirit that upholds individuality and is oriented towards equal participation. Conclusion. The core and essence of Bakhtin’s academic thought, according to most researchers from China, is the theory of dialogue, the main goal of which is to emphasize a positive humanistic spirit that upholds individuality and is oriented towards equal participation. Dialogical thought passes through his linguistic and semiotic thinking. The results of the generalization of the experience of studying the ideas of M. M. Bakhtin by Chinese scientists demonstrate the presence of deep reception in the audience of Chinese philologists in relation to the discourse of the great Russian thinker. | 6213 | The study was carried out on the material of the poetic and prose texts of Yu. Vella (1948–2013), included in his fourth book “Talk to me...”. The dialogical intention is indicated in the title of the book, addressed to the Nenets student and the one who “would like to listen to the Nenets soul.” The structural features of the dialogical situation in the book “Talk to me...” are determined by the traditionalist type of artistic consciousness of the Nenets master of words, for whom the values of significance are, firstly, rootedness in the national cultural tradition, secondly, involvement in the process of ethno-confessional continuity, thirdly, a mythopoetic picture of the world and awareness of the harmony of existence in unity with the spiritualized natural world. The dialogue in the book is modeled by the poet in three interrelated areas: intercultural interaction in Russian, Nenets and French; aesthetic communication between the author and the reader (Nenets student, young reindeer herder, etc.) and intra-textual events in the form of friendly communication between the owner and the guests at the chuval, or the reindeer herder guessing riddles (“My riddles (riddles from Tatva)”), or the lyrical hero’s instructions to someone who is ready to open up to world in order to experience spiritual transformation on Nenets land (“Swan Hunt (dialogues)”). Yu. Vella, as a social and cultural leader of the Nenets of Western Siberia, felt responsible not only for the fate of his small people, but also for the lives of people caught in the zone of interethnic conflicts. Yu. Vella, as a social and cultural leader of the Nenets of Western Siberia, felt responsible not only for the fate of his small people, but also for the lives of people caught in the zone of interethnic conflicts. The poem “Swan Hunt (dialogues)” and the poems “The Highest Value” and “The Golden Fleece” are dedicated to the latter. The architectonics of the experience “The Highest Form of Harmony” expresses the idea that dialogue between people of different nationalities and religions is possible if we return to the direct (“childish”) perception of the world, which allows us to restore the value connection of a person with the natural Cosmos surrounding him. In conclusion, the mechanisms of interaction of ethnocultural components in texts under the general title “Talk to me (the story of one translation)” are considered from the point of view of the poet’s bilingual representation of the same work, reflected by the author in the commentary to his translation. | 6220 | The results of investigation of the fullerene C60 ground state electron structure obtained with the use of model spherical-symmetric potentials of electron-nuclear interaction are presented. The following models: the rectangular potential well, the potential of the uniformly charged sphere, and the potential “in a chosen direction” are used in the calculations. The new potential “in a chosen direction” has been used for the first time, so that the corresponding results are of the most interest. We suppose this potential takes into account, to a certain extend, the real geometry of the molecule C60 and the screening of the nuclei Coulomb field by the inner-shell electrons. The single-electron energies are calculated in both Hartree and Hartree-Fock approximations for the averaged term configuration of 60 outermost valence electrons. The inner-shell electrons are included effectively into the molecular ionic core. The parameters of the potential are chosen to provide the best correspondence of single-electron energies and the experimental ionization thresholds IP1=7.58 eV , IP2=11.50 eV. The calculation showed a good agreement between the calculated results and experimental data. | 6224 | The article deals with the linguodidactic potential of jargon, realized in the classes on teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Chinese audience. The main attention is paid to different uses of jargon for the implementation of the linguistic goal of teaching a foreigner to the colloquial Russian language, through which interpersonal communication is carried out in the conditions of everyday interaction. The relevance of the article is due to the growing importance of multicultural communication and the strengthening of Russian-Chinese contacts, including linguistic ones. The scientific novelty of the issue under consideration is the possibility of examining the extraliterary linguistic facts (in this study – jargon) from the point of view of linguodidactic and linguistic cultural units used in classes in Russian as a foreign language in the Chinese audience. As an empirical material for our research, texts written in various Internet genres were used: blogs, correspondence in chats and forums, posts in social networks. As a material for the study, we considered the texts of the decoding of the audio recordings of the speech of the characters in the television series and the heroes of the TV show. All these varieties of oral and written texts can serve as a linguistic guideline for mastering the Russian language as a foreign language. In them, in huge numbers, there are extra-literary units, including jargon. Note that the stated texts are oriented, in majority, to the youth part of the viewers and Internet users. | 6225 | The article considers the possibility of using historical intonation semantic stereotypes for the development of creative activity of students, motivation of cognitive learning activities. Specific options are being considered for the use of «migratory intonation complexes» for improvisation, composition, ensemble music in the musical-theoretical disciplines of CMS / CSA, in music classes of general education school and various institutions of additional education, including pre-school. It is motivation that contributes to the achievement of the most important goal in education - the greening of the educational process. This means to maximally incorporate educational activities into the life needs of students. Positively experienced emotions in the process of music classes contribute to the solution of many problems. To «pass» music through oneself, «to live in it» while playing music means to love, to understand. Academician B. V. Asafiev saw the solution to very complex issues of musical pedagogy in the use of the semantic approach, which opens up both the prospect of future research of scientists, and the prospect of developing the methods and methodology of the semantic approach in musical and artistic education and training. Based on the semantic approach of analysis the article explores the brightest cultural codes of the «golden fund of standards» of world music. Some methodical approaches-recommendations and proposals for their practical use in music pedagogy are presented. In the effective and final sections of the article, the relevant conclusions are drawn on the topic of the study. On the basis of semantic approach-analysis it is possible to reveal the phenomenon of musical text, its meaning «not only from the position of phonetics, grammar and syntax», but also «from the point of view of poetics, semantics, style». Using a semantic approach in the process of learning you need to acquire «the skills of oral musical speech» – improvisation, which was once obligatory in the training of a musician. It is necessary to create an «organic intersubject communication» between theoretical disciplines and «music-making practice» because theoretical disciplines can and should be musical. The question is the methods of teaching, the methodology of «immersion» in music. Musical pedagogy has yet to be adopted and mastered, taking into account the level of modern psychology of perception, to develop the methods and methodology of the educational process to interest, captivate, to make students fall in love with music heard and performed. | 6229 | The article is devoted to determining the peculiarities of self-identification, i.e. self-understanding, by the standards of the Russian linguoculture. To achieve the goal, the author uses onomasiological, component, conceptual analysis, linguocultural interpretation techniques. A standard is a sign of culture, expressing in verbal form stereotypical ideas about the typical features and qualities of a person. Standards have been proved to be the main means for selfidentification of the subject of culture. They objectify various aspects of a person’s inner world, his/her appearance, social interaction. The article establishes that a standard is an element of people’s identity, the result of the identification process, which is accompanied by the characterization of the subject of culture. These processes are embodied in the internal form of the standard, which is considered as a verbal stereotype reflecting the prototypical representation of the denoted phenomenon. The article reveals that all major cultural codes are involved in the formation of standards. The study identifies productive cultural codes that are used in the identification process. They include anthropomorphic, biomorphic, actional. The standards are represented by the units identifying a person as a kind and on certain aspects of his/her life activity. The formation of standards is carried out on the basis of linguocultural types, archetypal representations or practical human observations of reality phenomena. One verbal stereotype can be the basis of different standards. A standard can fix a deviation from the norm, indicating the norm for good or bad. The majority of standards are characterized by pejorative evaluativeness. The research discovers that the standards of anthropomorphic code of culture serve to objectify ideas about types of people oriented towards the inner world or material values. Anthropomorphic stereotypes pointing to social attributes identify features of a person in the context of social relations. Biomorphic stereotypes are based on archetypal knowledge or practical observations. The majority of units of this group record a deviation from the norm or pattern and include a negative evaluation in their meaning, which is explained by the interpretation of the animal as an ersatz human being. Units with positive evaluation dominate among the standards with the image “Bird”. Verbal stereotypes of plants are unproductive and are used mainly to objectify negative aspects. In fetish standards, value and functional characteristics of the object, as well as feelings from contact with it, become significant. Human standards formed on the basis of actional attributes embody ideas about the behavioural norms accepted in the Russian culture. The standards of the animic code reflect the immersion of a person in the context of nature, the feeling of being a part of it. | 6238 | Introduction. The object of this research is the French advertising discourse in the sphere of insurance services, and the subject is its speech genre differentiation. The topicality of this study is explained by the following factors: firstly, the above the discourse was not previously studied, secondly, it was carried out in line with the modern anthropocentric paradigm, thirdly, discursive studies still remain the focus of attention of modern domestic and foreign linguists, fourthly, the description of the genre palette of thematic discourse replenishes the repertoire of speech genres, and, finally, the French insurance market is one of the largest insurance sectors in the world, characterized by a high level of insurance culture, the historically established system of industries. The aim of this work is to analyze the French-language thematic discourse in the field of professional communication and to identify its speech genre palette. Material and methods. The methods of the research are the discursive analysis and the “extended” model of the speech genre. The material for the research is the promotional products of the insurance services of the leading insurance companies in France. Results and discussion. The advertising discourse in the field of insurance services is an integral part of the French insurance discourse. French institutional insurance discourse refers to the object thematic discourses, which are complex, multi-component, hybrid formations born at the intersection of the insurance, legal, academic, scientific discourse in the field of insurance, the advertising insurance discourse, the medical insurance discourse, the economic (marketing) discourse, the financial, the banking, the social, the managerial discourses in the field of insurance. Promotion of the insurance products to the market, i.e. their commercialization needs special advertising. Firstly, insurance is a service that is remote in time; accordingly, insurance services more than any other product need constant advertising. Secondly, the insurance company together with the insurance policy sells the client confidence in the future. The advertising discourse is defined as a special kind of the imperative discourse, which occupies an intermediate position between the argumentative (persuasive) and the propaganda (manipulative) discourses. The verbal and the visual semiotic codes are used to create an advertising text. The article describes the speech genres of printed materials of the French advertising discourse in the field of insurance services. Conclusion. In conclusion, it is noted that the author of the article has contributed to the description of the previously unexplored thematic French discourse and also replenished the “genre repertoire”. | 6242 | Aim of the research: to creat the image of religion as cultural and civilizational phenomenon. Methods of research: multidisciplinary approach, method of historical and philosophical analysis, hermeneutical method, comparative methodology, methodology of reconstruction of cultural and historical reality, based on the picture of culture as coexistence of unified cultural and historical types, where every element is determined by the system of mental dominants. Results: in the paper it is showed that the creating of cultural and civilizational model of religion is possible in the methodology, which considers culture as the objectification of human existential characteristics, representing the unity of civilization (for self-preservation, security, etc.) and cultural (in beauty, transcendence, etc.) needs. Cultural and civilizational aspects are considered in functioning of the Church, monasticism, monasteries, Christian morality. It is showed, that the civilizational component dominates in the activities of Western European Church and Catholic monasteries, but the cultural component dominates in the activities of the Russian Church and Orthodox Monasteries. | 6244 | Introduction. The study of Russian Old Believer’s dialects is included in modern Russian studies of research problems, as proven by the scientific literature and the subjects of many recent conferences, where the main attention is paid to the lexical problems. Aim and objectives. The analysis of the lexical composition of Old Believer household texts created by one author. Material and methods. The object of the present study were 18 household manuscripts (Paschal diary, various notes, samples of pens and inks, household accounts), written on birch barks and papers in semi-uncial and cursive handwriting. Most of these records were made in the third quarter of the 20th century, presumably by an individual, who is a member of the Old Believer “estates” in the north of Tomsk. The material consists of 733 words (3,367 used). The study uses the scientific description method which includes methods of observation, classification, interpretation, contextual analysis and quantitative counts, as well as linguopersonological elements which include portrait of speech methods and comparative/collation analysis in order to identify gender specificity in the vocabulary of two linguistic personalities. Results and discussion. The analysis showed the vocabulary distribution of the women notes by the author through grammatical classes, their relationship with the types of speech represented in the texts: The description is dominated by nouns and words of the state category, the narrative – verbs of several semantic groups (movement, specific physical actions, etc.), their adverbial actants and the discourse – pronouns, verbs of emotionally-psychological states. The study revealed the most frequent vocabulary for these sources: byt’, den’, yasno, sneg, studeno, etc., as well as words that were used once: apostol, oblachno, usnut’, etc. Semantically, the lexicon of the manuscripts is distributed into two major nominative zones: “World of Nature” and “Human World”, which include a number of sub-zones. The first most representative one of them is sub-zones: “Weather phenomena” (tucha, moroz, syroy, tikhoy zastyt’, dut’, oblachno), “Heavenly objects” (zvezda, solntse), “Elements of the landscape” (ezero, les), etc. The Human World zone includes anthroponymic (Manichka, Stenya, sis, hunter, guest, deushka), somatic (heart, hand), emotive sphere (gore, slezy, neschastnyy, stradat’), industrial (kholst, tkat’, rybka), etc. vocabulary. The nominative zones overlap with each other, as in the Animal World sub-zones (ovsyanochka, los’ – petushok, shchenyata) and Time (noch’, osen’yu – prazdnik, prepolovenie). A separate group is the vocabulary of religious discourse, including confessionally marked (otche, bratets, otluchit’sya). In the aspect of usage, the vocabulary is divided into all-Russian and regional vocabulary. Regional vocabulary includes ethnographisms (morda, cherym), dialectal lexical (malo malo, chayat) and local variants of all-Russian words (suda, vdale, veselyy). A part of the vocabulary shows a commonality with the vocabulary of the diary of the early 20th century, which reflects a different sub-dialect (sinochka, perevalki), and another part is not reflected in the dialect dictionaries at all (nepis, yam). Conclusion. 1. The revealed woman’s lexical resource is characterized by a certain diversity both in terms of its topics and in terms of part of speech, which allows us to consider her linguistic personality (LP) with a high index of lexical diversity of speech. 2. This is a dialectal LP, the lexicon which are marked territorially. In general, they correspond to the lexical subsystem of local priketskii accents with the preservation of their ancestor’s past foreigndialect influence. 3. This personality can be characterized as a religious LP with a confessionally marked vocabulary. | 6245 | The problem of the translatability of a literary text has remained urgent. At different times, there have been debates in literary science about whether it is permissible and possible to recreate an original work by means of a foreign language. In this article, the Bakhtin thesis on the “dialogue of cultures” and the provisions on the fundamental translatability of a work of art developed in the works of Russian comparative scientists are the starting points. The purpose is to analyze the poems of the American modernist poet Wallace Stevens and his Russian – language translations. The program poem by U. Stevens’ “Thirteen Ways to look at the Blackbird” and its translations into Russian served as the material for the study. The study uses the methods of linguo-stylistic analysis of language units, the method of philological analysis of a literary text, and comparative analysis. Creative works of Stevens reflect a general tendency of complexity of the poetic language that was earlier expressed by G. Elliot. Stevens’ poetry remains a mystery, has various interpretations while the author himself does not provide detailed and clear recommendations. The symbol of poetry for Stevens is music – the most abstract kind of art that is why any art should strive towards the state of music. In his poems, Stevens creates a world of imaginary, conditional and mysterious reality. The origins of his poetics go back to romanticism and symbolism, Coleridge’s understanding of the imagination, echoes of Nietzscheanism, Freudian and Jungian motifs. That is the reason why it can be challenging to understand what the author’s poems are about. It leads to multiple interpretations of Stevens’ works. This feature of the poetic style of the American author gives translators freedom when working on Stevens’ texts and actualizes some dominants of original works while obscuring others. An accurate translation of Stevens’ poems is not the same as a successful translation. That is why the researchers recommend to take into consideration his entire artistic heritage (including his theoretical research) when analyzing individual poems. Stevens’ individual poems become parts of a single hypertext that can be understood by having a complete image of an imaginary world created by the author. The paper considers one of the curriculum poems written by Stevens’ “Thirteen ways of looking at a blackbird” and the ways of implementation of the author’s conception in its Russian translations. The analysis of the selected translations made it possible to identify the translation made by Britanishsky as the closest to the concept of equivalence. His translation conveys the lexical content of the original poem, though there are significant deviations that deprive the poem of a holistic reconstruction of the author’s idea. | 6246 | The comparative study of closely related literatures seems to be a relevant direction in modern humanities. This perspective of the study allows us to identify the creative uniqueness of the work, the national basis and methods of literary reception through the disclosure of literary and sociocultural connections, and forms the openness of consciousness to the perception of foreign cultural codes and meanings. The creative individuality of Viktor Kozko was formed in the Belarusian literary process of the last third of the twentieth century, when there was an increase in the existential orientation of prose. Mythopoeticism is characterized by its rootedness in the universal humanistic constants of national specificity. The main stylistic changes occur at the junction of the artistic systems of realism – modernism, realism – postmodernism. The emergence of diffuse phenomena is due to both the individual author’s creative experiment and the general stylistic trends of the era. Modernist intentions in Belarusian literature have a pronounced folklore and mythological basis, which determined the predominance of authentic elements, helped to verbalize unconscious categories, making them the subject of author and reader reflection. Mariam Petrosyan worked on the novel “The Gray House” for almost two decades (1991–2009). The literary process at the turn of the 20th–21st centuries, on the one hand, demonstrates the completion of a certain sociocultural stage, on the other, it indicates the beginning of a new historical and cultural cycle. It is no coincidence that the allegorical nature of the novel satisfies the aesthetic and cognitive needs of the time – to create a metonymic image of modern society. Both prose writers actively use various types of secondary artistic conventions. Depending on the dominant type of convention and the dominant artistic technique, the following ways of enriching realistic aesthetics with means of non-classical artistry can be distinguished: actualization of surreal aesthetics; synthesis of realistic and fantastic; appeal to folklore and mythological motifs, mythological ways of understanding the world. The methods of mythological quotation used in the novels by Mariam Petrosyan “The Gray House” and Viktor Kozko’s “Chronicle of an orphanage garden” when embodying the images of teachers and students, topoi of the house and garden, neomythological methods of modeling reality allowed the writers to create a unique spatiotemporal organization of works, explicate national cultural codes. | 6250 | Modern research sets a new paradigm for the linguistic description of terms as units of special nomination. The emphasis is on the study of dynamic processes covering terminological systems of different subject areas, identifying qualitative changes in the ways of representing domain-specific knowledge. The current paper seeks to identify some specific features of the terminological lexicon of Physics within the framework of an actively developing area of physical research related to the problem of dark matter. The relative novelty of this area, its interdisciplinary and rapidly developing nature result in the complication of its conceptual structure, give rise to certain changes in the formal and semantic representation of special concepts. The focus of this study is on the analytical units of special nomination – multicomponent terms notable for specific combinatorics and semantics of individual components. The study is aimed to identify the lexical and semantic features of this type of terms, determined by linguistic and extralinguistic factors. The collection of lexical material for analysis was carried out not on the basis of dictionaries, as is traditionally the case, but on the basis of English-language publications devoted to dark matter search from highranking scientific journals for 2014 to 2024 years. While randomly selecting the items for analysis the following features of the terminological combinations were taken into account: the ways of their representation in scientific texts (variability of form), the semantic specifics of their individual components. The sample of terms comprises 223 units. The research is based on the method of linguistic description, represented by such techniques as observation and generalization, systematization, quantitative counting, component and semantic analysis. On the basis of the data provided by the study it appeared possible to identify some features of multicomponent terms of the “dark matter” thematic sphere: variability of form of the same concepts represented within the context of one article and in other publications; hybridization of form (combination of verbal components with abbreviations and special symbols); complication of the semantic capacity of terminological combinations due to eponymous and metaphorical components; susceptibility to such semantic processes as synonymy and antonymy. The practical and theoretical significance of the study may consist in the possibility of using theresults obtained to develop the theory of crosscultural scientific communication, to determine patterns for compiling specialized dictionaries and glossaries of physical terms, to design and deliver courses in language for specific purposes, and courses in specialized translation.
