| 6205 | The article is devoted to determining the peculiarities of self-identification, i.e. self-understanding, by the standards of the Russian linguoculture. To achieve the goal, the author uses onomasiological, component, conceptual analysis, linguocultural interpretation techniques. A standard is a sign of culture, expressing in verbal form stereotypical ideas about the typical features and qualities of a person. Standards have been proved to be the main means for selfidentification of the subject of culture. They objectify various aspects of a person’s inner world, his/her appearance, social interaction. The article establishes that a standard is an element of people’s identity, the result of the identification process, which is accompanied by the characterization of the subject of culture. These processes are embodied in the internal form of the standard, which is considered as a verbal stereotype reflecting the prototypical representation of the denoted phenomenon. The article reveals that all major cultural codes are involved in the formation of standards. The study identifies productive cultural codes that are used in the identification process. They include anthropomorphic, biomorphic, actional. The standards are represented by the units identifying a person as a kind and on certain aspects of his/her life activity. The formation of standards is carried out on the basis of linguocultural types, archetypal representations or practical human observations of reality phenomena. One verbal stereotype can be the basis of different standards. A standard can fix a deviation from the norm, indicating the norm for good or bad. The majority of standards are characterized by pejorative evaluativeness. The research discovers that the standards of anthropomorphic code of culture serve to objectify ideas about types of people oriented towards the inner world or material values. Anthropomorphic stereotypes pointing to social attributes identify features of a person in the context of social relations. Biomorphic stereotypes are based on archetypal knowledge or practical observations. The majority of units of this group record a deviation from the norm or pattern and include a negative evaluation in their meaning, which is explained by the interpretation of the animal as an ersatz human being. Units with positive evaluation dominate among the standards with the image “Bird”. Verbal stereotypes of plants are unproductive and are used mainly to objectify negative aspects. In fetish standards, value and functional characteristics of the object, as well as feelings from contact with it, become significant. Human standards formed on the basis of actional attributes embody ideas about the behavioural norms accepted in the Russian culture. The standards of the animic code reflect the immersion of a person in the context of nature, the feeling of being a part of it. | 6213 | Introduction. The object of this research is the French advertising discourse in the sphere of insurance services, and the subject is its speech genre differentiation. The topicality of this study is explained by the following factors: firstly, the above the discourse was not previously studied, secondly, it was carried out in line with the modern anthropocentric paradigm, thirdly, discursive studies still remain the focus of attention of modern domestic and foreign linguists, fourthly, the description of the genre palette of thematic discourse replenishes the repertoire of speech genres, and, finally, the French insurance market is one of the largest insurance sectors in the world, characterized by a high level of insurance culture, the historically established system of industries. The aim of this work is to analyze the French-language thematic discourse in the field of professional communication and to identify its speech genre palette. Material and methods. The methods of the research are the discursive analysis and the “extended” model of the speech genre. The material for the research is the promotional products of the insurance services of the leading insurance companies in France. Results and discussion. The advertising discourse in the field of insurance services is an integral part of the French insurance discourse. French institutional insurance discourse refers to the object thematic discourses, which are complex, multi-component, hybrid formations born at the intersection of the insurance, legal, academic, scientific discourse in the field of insurance, the advertising insurance discourse, the medical insurance discourse, the economic (marketing) discourse, the financial, the banking, the social, the managerial discourses in the field of insurance. Promotion of the insurance products to the market, i.e. their commercialization needs special advertising. Firstly, insurance is a service that is remote in time; accordingly, insurance services more than any other product need constant advertising. Secondly, the insurance company together with the insurance policy sells the client confidence in the future. The advertising discourse is defined as a special kind of the imperative discourse, which occupies an intermediate position between the argumentative (persuasive) and the propaganda (manipulative) discourses. The verbal and the visual semiotic codes are used to create an advertising text. The article describes the speech genres of printed materials of the French advertising discourse in the field of insurance services. Conclusion. In conclusion, it is noted that the author of the article has contributed to the description of the previously unexplored thematic French discourse and also replenished the “genre repertoire”. | 6224 | The article deals with the aesthetic views of A. V. Makedonov – a famous literary critic and historian of the Soviet literature and post-Soviet periods. He was a supporter of the scientific concept of perceiving art as a constantly evolving knowledge of objective reality in the form of a second subjective-objective reality. The basic aesthetic views of Makedonov are connected with German classical aesthetics, particularly the philosophy of G.W.F. Gegel, the works of V. G. Belinsky and N. G. Chernyshevsky. In his works of the 1960–1980s, he was engaged in a polemic with Russian and foreign supporters of the theory of semiotics, in particular with Yu. M. Lotman. The researcher tried to prove that, despite a number of accurate statements, his opponents failed to determine the specificity of art as they tried to reduce all the originality of artistic creativity to the characteristics of different sign systems and as well as to reject the study of artistic image as a way to acquire knowledge about objective reality. | 6229 | The study of modern standards and requirements for higher education institutions in Russia and Germany leads to the idea that learning a foreign language becomes the task of undergraduate or graduate students themselves. The value of academic mobility which to a certain extent is implemented in all higher schools of Russia to achieve the quality of bachelor’s or master’s degree is presently being studied. The introduction of this technique to the educational process requires the appropriate training and support on the part of foreign language teachers. It is necessary to consider both the psychological and communicative training of students. The basis for formation of the professional foreign language competence is formed during the basic training of a foreign language. The next step is the transition from general technical texts to special ones. It is important to complicate the teaching material gradually, use a variety of sources in order to give students the opportunity of finding some familiar elements in each following task. This will help them understand the text and remove the possible psychological and communicative problems. | 6231 | Introduction. The article is devoted to the study of the translation peculiarities of economic terms from English into Tatar language from the point of their nominative structure. Economic terms function productively in English. The problems raised in the work are the specifics of translating economic terms into Tatar, the difficulties of translating them, as well as the analysis of the peculiarities of translating economic terms according to their nominative basis. Difficulties in translating economic terminology are one of the main obstacles to communication in the economic sciences. The relevance of the problem. The international exchange of scientific and technical information has especially grown in the last decade, and the modern language is at a new stage of its development in connection with an increase in the level of information content of culture. Interest in language and its knowledge is constantly growing; the number of scientific and technical publications is growing so fast that it becomes incredibly difficult to process the flow of scientific and technical literature. Translations and abstracts of foreign language literature are handled not only by specialized publishing houses, translation centers, professional translators of research institutes and industrial enterprises, but also by practitioners from various sectors of the national economy. The relevance of the reviewed article is due to the need to describe the terminological units of several languages (English and Tatar) in a comparative aspect. The purpose of the article is to study the structure, semantics and translation of English economic terms into Tatar according to their nominative character. Meterial and methods. The following methods of linguistic analysis were used in the work as an analytical collection and analysis of newspaper literature on the problems and peculiarities of the translation of written language, a comparative method. The study material was the English texts of economic subjects. The terms were singled out by continuous sampling from the text of the newspapers such as Financial Times, The Economist. Conclusion. The results of the study can be used in the development of lecture courses in lexicology, translation theory. | 6238 | The appeal to the problem of formation of research competences of future teachers of mathematics is connected with the changing requirements of modern society to the teacher, as well as with the specifics of the subject “Mathematics”. When organizing and planning the process of teaching mathematics to students in the format of modern standards the teacher uses research knowledge, skills and abilities. Therefore, the process of vocational training of pedagogical university students should contribute to the formation of these characteristics. This requires the implementation of design of the process of formation of research skills of pedagogical university students. As a result of this work the author developed a structural-functional model of formation of these competencies. We distinguish and characterize the components of the model. | 6239 | The subject of modern professional competencies of translators and interpreters and relevancy of them adjustment in the era of the progress in machine translation and artificial intelligence are discussed. The problem of correlation of translation and MT-editing is defined; the question of changing the status of the translator and the authorship of the products is also raised. The point of the requirement to notice that translation/ interpreting was made by artificial intelligence is debatable. The ethical and confidential considerations of translation when using artificial intelligence technology are the important aspects considered in the article. Under present conditions of increased competition in the market of higher education, when words about the disappearance of the translators are becoming more insistent and a post-editor of ma chine translation, who will only need to learn how to use machine translation tools in simple professional training or additional education courses, is the most likely successor, the problem of translators’/ interpreters’ studies is strongly focused. Thus situated the key criteria for measuring of effectiveness of performance is the competence of a MT-post-editor to evaluate how accurate an AI-assisted translation is. Particularly notes that there are a number of areas in which artificial intelligence does not outperform human intelligence, therefore not be able in the near future to replace a human translator: for example, literary translation, namely translation of poetry, translation from ancient languages (Latin, ancient Greek) and medieval literature translation. In the case of literary translation, weak productivity of artificial intelligence relates to the problem of transfer of the pragmatic component, and in the context of ancient texts – the lack of database for teaching artificial intelligence. Thus, the importance of union of classical training in translation and acquisition of modern translation technologies for the successful integration of graduates into the professional sphere is emphasized. | 6243 | Modern research sets a new paradigm for the linguistic description of terms as units of special nomination. The emphasis is on the study of dynamic processes covering terminological systems of different subject areas, identifying qualitative changes in the ways of representing domain-specific knowledge. The current paper seeks to identify some specific features of the terminological lexicon of Physics within the framework of an actively developing area of physical research related to the problem of dark matter. The relative novelty of this area, its interdisciplinary and rapidly developing nature result in the complication of its conceptual structure, give rise to certain changes in the formal and semantic representation of special concepts. The focus of this study is on the analytical units of special nomination – multicomponent terms notable for specific combinatorics and semantics of individual components. The study is aimed to identify the lexical and semantic features of this type of terms, determined by linguistic and extralinguistic factors. The collection of lexical material for analysis was carried out not on the basis of dictionaries, as is traditionally the case, but on the basis of English-language publications devoted to dark matter search from highranking scientific journals for 2014 to 2024 years. While randomly selecting the items for analysis the following features of the terminological combinations were taken into account: the ways of their representation in scientific texts (variability of form), the semantic specifics of their individual components. The sample of terms comprises 223 units. The research is based on the method of linguistic description, represented by such techniques as observation and generalization, systematization, quantitative counting, component and semantic analysis. On the basis of the data provided by the study it appeared possible to identify some features of multicomponent terms of the “dark matter” thematic sphere: variability of form of the same concepts represented within the context of one article and in other publications; hybridization of form (combination of verbal components with abbreviations and special symbols); complication of the semantic capacity of terminological combinations due to eponymous and metaphorical components; susceptibility to such semantic processes as synonymy and antonymy. The practical and theoretical significance of the study may consist in the possibility of using theresults obtained to develop the theory of crosscultural scientific communication, to determine patterns for compiling specialized dictionaries and glossaries of physical terms, to design and deliver courses in language for specific purposes, and courses in specialized translation. The following models: the rectangular potential well, the potential of the uniformly charged sphere, and the potential “in a chosen direction” are used in the calculations. The new potential “in a chosen direction” has been used for the first time, so that the corresponding results are of the most interest. We suppose this potential takes into account, to a certain extend, the real geometry of the molecule C60 and the screening of the nuclei Coulomb field by the inner-shell electrons. The single-electron energies are calculated in both Hartree and Hartree-Fock approximations for the averaged term configuration of 60 outermost valence electrons. The inner-shell electrons are included effectively into the molecular ionic core. The parameters of the potential are chosen to provide the best correspondence of single-electron energies and the experimental ionization thresholds IP1=7.58 eV , IP2=11.50 eV. | 6247 | Introduction. The article considers the issue of the quality of training which is a fundamental criterion for the efficiency of the educational process in both traditional and innovative learning environment. Aim and objectives: to substantiate the indicators of the system for assessing the effectiveness of teaching mathematics in adaptive system within e-learning environment. Material and methods. The article reveals the parameters and regularities of building the adaptive systems of mathematical training of university students. The authors underline that when shifting during the process of mathematical training to the electronic educational environment, ensuring the high quality of training is becoming extremely important. The approach to determining the quality of e-learning in accordance with the standard is based on the development of detailed descriptions of each process and sub-process. Results and discussion. The article presents target indicators (regulatory and organizational, psychological and pedagogical, software and hardware, communication and personnel) and performance criteria for teaching mathematics in the adaptive system in conditions of the electronic educational environment. To give a more objective assessment of the efficiency of teaching mathematics in the adaptive system, each group criterion is described with the help of specific indicators that can be further measured and evaluated. A fully functional algorithm for evaluating the efficiency of teaching mathematics in the adaptive system in conditions of the electronic educational environment is indicated in the step-by-step implementation of technological operations in order to ensure the unity of internal and external quality control of training. | 6248 | The problem of the translatability of a literary text has remained urgent. At different times, there have been debates in literary science about whether it is permissible and possible to recreate an original work by means of a foreign language. In this article, the Bakhtin thesis on the “dialogue of cultures” and the provisions on the fundamental translatability of a work of art developed in the works of Russian comparative scientists are the starting points. The purpose is to analyze the poems of the American modernist poet Wallace Stevens and his Russian – language translations. The program poem by U. Stevens’ “Thirteen Ways to look at the Blackbird” and its translations into Russian served as the material for the study. The study uses the methods of linguo-stylistic analysis of language units, the method of philological analysis of a literary text, and comparative analysis. Creative works of Stevens reflect a general tendency of complexity of the poetic language that was earlier expressed by G. Elliot. Stevens’ poetry remains a mystery, has various interpretations while the author himself does not provide detailed and clear recommendations. The symbol of poetry for Stevens is music – the most abstract kind of art that is why any art should strive towards the state of music. In his poems, Stevens creates a world of imaginary, conditional and mysterious reality. The origins of his poetics go back to romanticism and symbolism, Coleridge’s understanding of the imagination, echoes of Nietzscheanism, Freudian and Jungian motifs. That is the reason why it can be challenging to understand what the author’s poems are about. It leads to multiple interpretations of Stevens’ works. This feature of the poetic style of the American author gives translators freedom when working on Stevens’ texts and actualizes some dominants of original works while obscuring others. An accurate translation of Stevens’ poems is not the same as a successful translation. That is why the researchers recommend to take into consideration his entire artistic heritage (including his theoretical research) when analyzing individual poems. Stevens’ individual poems become parts of a single hypertext that can be understood by having a complete image of an imaginary world created by the author. The paper considers one of the curriculum poems written by Stevens’ “Thirteen ways of looking at a blackbird” and the ways of implementation of the author’s conception in its Russian translations. The analysis of the selected translations made it possible to identify the translation made by Britanishsky as the closest to the concept of equivalence. His translation conveys the lexical content of the original poem, though there are significant deviations that deprive the poem of a holistic reconstruction of the author’s idea.
