| 866 | The article reflects the problem of science education, which manifest themselves in school and in higher school. In particular, these problems are common to the schools and universities of Tomsk. The problems are manifested by the facts: poor results at final exams in school (average point at the final examination in physics is not high, for Tomsk it is slightly higher than in Russia in whole); weak natural-science preparation of pupils identified in the serious study; lowering of the pass mark for the students of technical faculties of leading universities of Tomsk. In addition, in the above studies was found low practical and technical preparation of students, which affects the training of engineers. The authors analyzed the proposals to solve the manifested problems. Part of the proposals concerns the introduction of a propaedeutic course of natural-science for pupils of 5–6 classes. The authors believe that such training is more effective in the study of the course, built on the basis of the most important natural subject – physics, rather than on the basis of integrated natural sciences course. Propaedeutic study of the subject, built in a certain way, contributed to the appearance of the motivation to study it. The process of such training is presented as an elective course (shows the program and, in part, the ways of working with students), where students are introduced to the great discoveries and the engineering, and consumer applications of these discoveries. The course is built on the basis of a joint discussion of the problems, updating of knowledge of students about the scientists and the benefits of their discoveries, the organization of observations and execution of simple model experiments. As a result, students gain some practical, technological and information skills. The article shows the positive results of the students, the appearance of their motivation to study physics. | 867 | The article discusses the thematic range of V. S Solovyov’s lyrics. This issue is periodically raised in the Russian science about Solovyov, but the poetry of this lyric poet is analyzed either by thematic groups without specifying the subjects in them, or excluding some important layers of his creative work. Defining the nature of the Solovyov’s poetry as philosophical, the author emphasizes that it is impossible to ignore the fact that apart from the actual philosophical part, there is the so-called «comic» lyrics in his legacy, largely reflecting the specificity of ideology of the author, his aesthetic and artistic views. The author of the article analyzes Solovyov’s lyrical legacy in terms of the key themes and its changes in different periods of creativity, drawing as the material all diversity of art selfactualization of Solovyov-poet. The research was performed on the basis of the comparative-historical and typological methods. Stages of formation of the landscape, love, proper philosophical and humor lyrics of Solovyov are traced. The closeness of the themes of Solovyov’s poetry with Russian and Western European romantic lyrics (V. A. Zhukovsky, K. N. Batyushkov, M. Yu. Lermontov, G. Heine, A. Mickiewicz) on the one hand and philosophical lyrics of F. I. Tiutchev, on the other hand, is observed. In addition, there is a presence of the individual echoes of eastern gafiz and slavinofil poetic traditions. In addition, a presence of the separate echoes of the eastern, gafiz and slavophilic poetic traditions is observed. | 868 | Introduction. In the 21st century, all the languages of the world undergo radical changes in its lexical composition. Due to the need to nominate new concepts, phenomena and objects in the process of cognition and development of a constantly changing world, the lexical fund of languages is enriched by the emergence of new vocabulary, among which there are a lot of slang words. Youth jargon is an interesting language phenomenon both in Russian and in Chinese, which is developing almost simultaneously in two completely different language systems and linguistic cultures. Material and methods. The author analyzes the ways of replenishing the lexical fund of Russian and Chinese youth slang in a comparative aspect, taking into account the factor of cognitive mechanisms dependence of meaning generation within the framework of the slang fragment of the national world picture. The study is carried out on the basis of the material of the author’s dictionary files, as well as data from lexicographic sources based on the methodology of contextual, contrastive-comparative analysis, as well as word-formation modeling. Results and discussion. The most productive ways of enriching the corpus of youth vocabulary in both languages are revealed. This is metaphorization, affixation, foreign borrowing. At the same time, unlike Russian youth jargon, in the Chinese language, such methods as abbreviation and homophony reveal a greater specific gravity and linguocultural specifics in the formation of new slang units. The Chinese youth sociolect also reveals specifics when adapting foreign borrowings. These differences are due to the typological features of the Chinese language and the originality of the linguistic picture of the world of modern Chinese youth. Conclusion. The results obtained in the course of the study allow us to talk about the combined action within the framework of the slang subsystems of the Russian and Chinese languages as universal trends in the field of word production, and ways specific to each language to implement these trends. Ways to replenish youth jargon in a particular linguistic culture are determined by the conceptual content of its corresponding fragment. | 871 | Introduction. The features of the lexical representation of the idea of national unity in publicistic and advertising texts are considered. The relevance of the study is due to the current state of the field of social communication, in particular, the unlimited possibilities of free interaction between people due to the availability of digital technologies, as a result of which, on the one hand, various actors can in-fluence human consciousness through texts (for example, newspaper publications, advertising, etc.), on the other hand, different types of discourses reflect the peculiarities of people’s ideas about a par-ticular fragment of modern reality. Aim and objectives. The purpose of the article is to analyze what lexical means represent the idea of national unity in the media discourse. The object of research is journalistic and advertising texts. Material and methods. The research material was lexicographic data, text fragments extracted from the National Corpus of the Russian language and selected by the authors from media publications, polycode texts of commercial advertising. The methods of semantic-motivational reconstruction, com-ponent analysis, interpretation of contextual semantics, analysis of definitions were used. Results and discussion. Based on the study of the linguistic representation of the idea of national unity in dictionaries and speech use, the value of the non-idiomatic compound expression national unity is established, contextual markers of the idea of national unity are identified in publicistic and advertising texts. The expression national unity is considered in a series of synonymous units of national unity and national consent. It is shown that the expression national unity has a procedural meaning and pre-supposes the duration of action, and the expressions of national unity and national consent have a substantive meaning of effectiveness and a contextual synonym for national union. Based on the analysis of the definitions of the adjective national and the noun unity and their speech use as a com-posite non-idiomatic expression, the definition of national unity is formulated as ‘the state process of rallying the citizens of the country who have a common historical past, based on the interaction of the authorities and the people on the issue of solving the problems of state development and national secu-rity’. It has been established that in commercial poly-code advertising, the expression national unity is not used, but the idea of national unification is implemented implicitly. Conclusion. The authors identified language markers for promoting the idea of national unity in mod-ern commercial advertising, nominating common traditions, territory and some features of the coun-try’s socio-cultural life. It is noted that commercial advertising has significant opportunities for promot-ing national ideas; a research perspective is seen in the study of the educational possibilities of adver-tising discourse. | 872 | Socialism is one of the key ideas that make up the socio-historical, philosophical and moral worldview of F. M. Dostoevsky in the 1860s – 1880s. The problem of “Dostoevsky and socialism” was posed by researchers already at the beginning of the 20th century, literary critics and philosophers noted the special attitude of the thinker to this system of society. As part of the study of Dostoevsky’s geopolitical ideas about Europe in the 1860s – 1881. it seems necessary and logical to study the problem of socialism in journalistic texts and letters of the thinker. The purpose of the article is to study and reconstruct the position of Dostoevsky in relation to socialism in the 1860s – 1881s. The material of the study was journalistic texts, notes, unfinished articles, letters from Dostoevsky in 1860–1881. The empirical base of the study was formed using the method of continuous sampling of the concept of “socialism”. The study uses biographical, cultural-historical, imagological methods. As part of the study, all available texts of the period under study, including the concept of “socialism”, were considered. As a result, it was revealed that in the 1860s – 1881 the problem of socialism was very relevant for Dostoevsky. The thinker discusses both European and Russian socialism, but first of all it is more important for him to understand the essence of socialism. European socialism, based on laws, requirements and science, according to Dostoevsky, leads to the destruction of the West. The writer formulates his understanding of socialism, contrasts the artificial construction of society (European or Western socialism) with love, morality, brotherhood (Russian socialism). The peculiarity of Dostoevsky’s socialist ideas is their identification with equality and social justice under the leadership of boundless sincere faith in the teachings of Christ. Since the 1860s Dostoevsky reflects on socialism and contrasts two definitions of this concept: the form of government and fraternal unity based on the moral feelings of society. Based on these definitions of socialism, he contrasts European (Western) socialism and Russian socialism. The writer was convinced of the possibility of implementing socialist theory to create a just social order, he believed that this could be achieved without revolutions, but thanks to the internal change of man and society. The chronological reconstruction of the writer’s position towards the socialism of the period under study helps to reveal the dynamics of changes in Dostoevsky’s views in this regard. Reflecting on socialism in Europe and Russia, the thinker turns to the problems of science, education, youth, writes about the activities of European leaders, the development of European states. Socialism turns out to be the connecting link of many questions that concern the thinker. Keywords: F. M. Dostoevsky, European socialism, Russian socialism, “Diary of a Writer” | 2086 | |||||

| 879 | Introduction. The issue of the functioning in modern speech of the word hate and its derivatives as units that name the phenomena associated with the manifestation of hostile relations is considered. A comparative characteristic of the meanings of the words hate and hatred, which are used in modern speech as synonyms are presented in the article. The relevance of the study is due to the emergence of new realities, in particular in the field of conflict Internet communication, and, accordingly, neologisms calling them, the meanings of which may be unknown to native speakers, especially to the older generation. The aim is to analyze the semantic volume of the lexeme hate as a nomination of a form of enmity in modern communication and its derivatives. Material and methods. The research material was lexicographic data, texts extracted from the National Corpus of the Russian language and collected by the authors in the media. The methods of discursive, interpretive, component analysis were used. Results and discussion. It is noted that in speech, hate is often used as a direct synonym for the word hatred. The general and different features of the manifestation of hate and hatred as communicative models are revealed. The characterization of hate as a communication model is given, in which there are interaction participants who perform actions using the appropriate language, realizing communication in a certain space, primarily in social networks. It is shown that the manifestation of hatred as a model of communication is distinguished, first of all, by the absence of a special place where it is possible to organize interaction on its basis. The semantic volume of the lexemes hate and hatred is analyzed. Based on the texts of mass media and social networks, a semantic description of the neologism hate is compiled. Its comparison with the lexicographic description of the lexeme hatred showed that hate is an emotional negative attitude towards an object, which is necessarily expressed publicly, and hatred is, first of all, a personal feeling that is not customary to demonstrate. Conclusion. It is concluded that the meanings of the words hate and hatred cannot be considered identical, therefore, when lexicographic description of the lexeme hate as a new nomination, differences in semantics should be reflected. It is noted that narrowing the scope of the interpretation of the word hate can create a misconception about it among a Russian speaker who is not familiar with the meaning of this substandard linguistic unit. | 887 | Introduction. The modernist esthetics of Lena Eltang’s prose, as well as the biographical factor (she is a fourthwave emigrant who now lives in Lithuania) explains the value for the author and characters of the novel’s word, the speech as a method of conservation and expression the inner world of a person in a non-native environment. The purpose of the work is to identify the semantics and functionality of the main point in the novel “Stone Maples”/”Kamennyye kloyny” (2008) by L. Eltang of the motive complex “peace – silence – word/speech”. Material and methods. The method of research is a motivational analysis based on the works of B. Gasparov, I Paperno, V. Silantyev, O. Rusanova. In understanding of the general cultural semantics of the motives of silence, peace and speech, we rely on the works of O. M. Freidenberg, M. Epstein, A. Genis. Results and discussion. The analysis performed to identify the central place of the silence motive in the selected motive complex. The motive of silence is multifunctional: it participates in the movement of the plot, draws up the image of the main character and characterizes the relationship between the characters, appears as the one of the narrative techniques (ignoring the addressee, silence in response), also accompanies the development of the theme of creativity. Silence is interpreted as a reorientation of the person from external to internal, from waste of words in oral speech to their accumulation for creating a text. Silence is existential: it is a condition for capturing the “call of being” and invitingly itself, helps another to pay attention to the subject of silence.
