The research was done on the material of New Zealand and Australian varieties of the English language. The definition was given to the terms sphere of national symbols and sphere of flora and fauna concepts. The relations between the sphere of national symbols and the sphere of flora and fauna concepts were identified as partial intersection. Native flora and fauna concepts became a wide and essential cognitive base on which national symbols of Australia and New Zealand had been created. In both Australian and New Zealand worldviews the spheres of national symbols and flora and fauna concepts excessively overlap. National symbols were created as a result of mental processing the concepts of native Australian and New Zealand flora and fauna. The names of symbols in New Zealand English are mainly from the Polynesian language of Maori, and in Australian English national symbols have predominantly English names. The choice and nomination of national symbols reflect the difference in general cultural scenario of the New Zealand and Australian societies. | 3171 | Introduction. The creative heritage of N. V. Gogol to this day encourages many literary critics to productive studies. In particular, researchers are interested in the intertext of V. A. Zhukovsky in the works of the writer. When considering the works dedicated to the personality and creativity of Gogol, it is really difficult not to find a mention of this Russian poet, since he was important for Gogol’s creative consciousness. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to determine the degree of Gogol’s acquaintance with Zhukovsky’s work during the writing of the “Petersburg Stories”. It is also important to identify and analyze the motives, plots, allusions and reminiscences of Zhukovsky’s works in Gogol’s stories. This will help to see the peculiarities of Gogol’s mastering of the poet’s works, to identify the transformations that Zhukovsky’s discoveries used by him have undergone in Gogol’s artistic system. Material and methods. Since most of the references to Zhukovsky’s work are present in Gogol’s stories “Nevsky Prospekt”, “The Portrait” and “The Overcoat”, the study will be organized on the basis of them. Biographical and comparative research methods are used in the work. Results and discussion. In the story “Nevsky Prospekt”, the narrator describes a refined, creative nature. A similar type often appears in Zhukovsky’s lyrics. In addition, the features of Zhukovsky’s idyll are revealed in the description of the image of the stranger Piskarev met: simplicity is glorified in it and the hero’s desire for harmony and purity is obvious. You can also pay attention to the fact that the artist deifies the young person he met. Probably, in her image, the author tried to reflect the highest manifestation of female beauty on earth, which for Gogol-Christian, of course, was the Madonna. In this case, the feelings of the young man are similar to those described by Zhukovsky in the aesthetic manifesto “Raphael’s Madonna”. However, the beauty leads Piskarev to a brothel. His idealistic consciousness cannot admit that beauty and vulgarity can be synonymous. This correlates with the principles of kalokagatiya, which were common in the Russian literature of the Romantic era and were reflected in the works of Zhukovsky. Having failed to resolve the conflict between reality and dream, Piskarev resorts to opium sleep, which, replacing life for him, becomes one of the factors that led to the tragic denouement, because, seeing his personal paradise in a dream, the artist increasingly moves away from reality and, ultimately, loses the ability to real life. In the features of the story’s plot, one can see the transformation of the idyllic motifs of Zhukovsky’s works. Faced with reality, Piskarev loses his mind. Such a finale is correlated with the plots of ballads which were translated by Zhukovsky. In them evil tempts and lures the unfortunate victim into a trap, and then takes his / her life (“Der Taucher”, “Erlkönig”). Thus, beauty for Gogol is no longer a sign of good. He comes closer to understanding the true beauty and the false beauty of Zhukovsky’s balladeer, shows the fragility of harmony in the world. The novel “Portrait” is considered by some researchers as an aesthetic manifesto of Gogol. This also suggests following the traditions of Zhukovsky. In addition, the two-part structure of the story may refer to the architectonics of Zhukovsky’s story “The Twelve Sleeping Maidens”. Her two ballads “Gromoboi” and “Vadim” are also opposite in their ethics and have ideological similarities with Gogol’s story. In the work, one can also find plot echoes with such works of the poet as the ballads “Lyudmila” (Lyudmila’s grumbling at fate is similar to Chartkov’s behavior) and “Varvik” (the character’s sin also provokes the appearance of otherworldly forces, which is a kind of warning and test). It can also be mentioned that Zhukovsky’s rebel heroes, dissatisfied with their lot, as a rule, suffer a painful defeat and their soul goes to hell. Something similar is happening with Chartkov. As for the second part of the story, it also has common features with Zhukovsky’s manifesto “Raphael’s Madonna”, because Gogol’s icon painter creates a picture that literally “breathes” divine grace. In the story “The Overcoat”, humanistic and Christian motives are revealed. The main character does not expect a better fate, but humbly fulfills his official duties. Children’s enthusiasm and sincerity, coupled with a truly zealous service, turn him into a real ascetic. Bashmachkin’s purity and love for people, as well as his self-sacrifice, allow us to say that his behavior is akin to chivalry, which was characteristic of the main character of “Don Quixote of La Mancha”, the translator of which was Zhukovsky. However, having received “God’s mercy” in the form of a greatcoat, which could well personify a “beautiful lady”, Bashmachkin is no longer so zealously performing his service. The tragic ending of the work can be connected with this. Similar ethical laws apply in the art world of Zhukovsky. Nevertheless, after death, the official returns to true service: by returning in the form of a ghost (which is the image characteristic of Zhukovsky’s works) to a significant person and other high-ranking officials to pick up overcoats, he restores a certain balance in the world. Thus, the universal justice inherent in the artistic world of Zhukovsky is being actualized again. Conclusion. The “Petersburg period” of Gogol’s work is closely connected with Zhukovsky’s creative activity. Gogol gets acquainted with the poet’s lyrics and publicism, actively reflects on what he found in it. It is important to emphasize that Gogol directly assimilates the aesthetics and poetics of Zhukovsky, after which he reproduces certain aspects of the poet’s creativity in his works, subjecting them to his own creative processing, which in general contributed to the formation of the writer’s unique genius. | 3174 | The effects of a nonsimpiy connected spacetime with the topology of S1 x R3 in the vacua of QED and gauged-NJL theories are investigated. It is shown that the polarization effects of twisted and untwisted fermions in QED are equivalent, once the corresponding stable vacuum solution of each fermion class is taken into account. The photon propagation in QED is found to be anisotropic and characterized by several massive photon modes and a superluminal transverse mode. At small compactification radius the masses of the massive modes increase as the inverse of the radius, while the massless photon mode has a superluminal velocity that increases logarithmically with that distance. At low energies the photon masses lead to an effective confinement of the gauge fields into a (2+i)-dimensional manifold transverse to the compactified direction. In the gauged-NJL model, it is shown that for both twisted and untwisted fermions, the smaller the compactification radius, the larger the critical four-fermion coupling needed to generate a fermion-antifermion chiral symmetry breaking condensate. | 1958 | |||||

| 3178 | In this article we apply BRST approach to Lagrangian construction for massive fermionic fields in d-dimensional anti de Sitter space. The obtained Lagrangian theory is a reducible gauge model containing, besides the basic field, a number of auxiliary (Stuckelberg) fields and the order of reducibility grows with the value of the rank of the antisymmetric field. We show that one can get rid of all the auxiliary fields and the final Lagrangian for fermionic antisymmetric field is formulated only in terms of basic field. | 3183 | The article deals with the semantic features of onomatopoeic words in German and Tatar languages in comparative terms. The aim of the research was to identify the similarities, differences and features in the words under analysis. In each language there are certain features in the perception of sounds. In both languages there are not only onomatopoeia but also the onomatopoeic nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs, which are an onomatopoetic vocabulary of each language. It is a universal vocabulary that has much in common even in unrelated languages. Separately is analyzed a group of onomatopoeic nouns, which represent the names of insects, birds and animals in both languages and the principles of their nomination in the Tatar language. In German, these words are non-productive while in Tatar it is the result of word-formation processes. The classification of verbs of sound according to their denotative content takes into account the peculiarities of both languages. Many onomatopoeic verbs are multivalued and can be assigned to several groups at once. Functional possibilities of onomatopoetic lexicon of both languages are considered as well – children’s language, proverbs and set phrases – characteristic of all languages and most vividly reflecting the national identity of the language. Knowledge of these functions is necessary to exclude communicative failures. | 3185 | Introduction. The appeal of teachers, scientists to the scientific concept of “regional environment” is a timely need, due to global changes and the deepening cultural differences of each region. Knowledge of the achievements of the multinational environment of the region is considered as an important condition for the development of a multi-ethnic culture, ensuring conflict-free interaction between schoolchildren and representatives of different cultures and an important factor in a conscious understanding of the regional construct “past, present, future” of the region in unity and in interconnection. The purpose of the article is to reveal the possibilities of teaching aids based on the multinational environment of the region in the development of a multi-ethnic culture of schoolchildren, to identify their functional and didactic significance, and conditions of use. Materials and methods. The research material was developed on the basis of the multinational environment of the region: content modules, printed media (tables, maps, developmental tasks, technologies). The following methods were used: theoretical and methodological analysis of the leading concepts on the topic under study, content analysis, a selection of leading authors on the studied problem, comparative, benchmarking analysis). In the study of pedagogical experience, the method of classification, analogies, content analysis was used. Empirical methods included questioning, conversation, comparative analysis. Statistical methods were based on mathematical analysis methods. Results. Content modules based on the multinational environment of the region that enhance the variability and invariant of subject knowledge have been developed and implemented: the cultural module reveals the multi-ethnic function of subject knowledge through studying the culture of ethnic groups, their role in the development of the region; the historical module creates a holistic view of the history of the region, multinational construction sites, heroes, discoverers of the Siberian land; ecological - geographical module takes into account the living conditions of ethnic groups with a rapid change of technology; socio-economic module shows the role of ethnic groups in the development of natural resources, industry of the region. The necessity of the phased development of a multi-ethnic culture of schoolchildren through the consistent inclusion of teaching aids based on the multinational environment of the region (texts, tables, maps (personal, cognitive, informational, web-quests); a system of developing tasks, interactive technologies that update knowledge and skills of a multi-ethnic nature is proved. Conclusion. At the end of the article, the results of the study are summarized, the practical significance of the use of teaching aids based on the multinational environment of the region as the basis for the development of a multi-ethnic culture of students is revealed. | 3186 | Introduction. The purpose of this research is to develop the concept of a dictionary of gender-marked vocabulary, which reflects the concepts of male and female in the Middle Ob region dialects. The study is novel in that it shows the creation of a dictionary that reflects the male and female spheres in their complex sociocultural interaction and regional specifics for the first time in Russian lexicography. The dictionary includes dynamic parameters of gender vocabulary, and as a result their informative capabilities are expanded. The applicabiliry of creating a dictionary of gender-marked vocabulary is coming from the nesessity to form a source study base for studying Siberia as a structure of steadfast development. At the same time, it can be used to identify factors contributing to the preservation of the traditional Siberian culture. Material and methods. Autobiographical texts recorded from 1946 to 2016 on the territory of century-old traditional dialects distribution in the Middle Ob region are used as the source. The study is carried out using the lexicographical method, the advantage of which is that one can study in detail the objects of lexicography, as well as their features and functioning in the language. Results and discussion. The dictionary includes gender lexical units that are part of the gender conceptual sphere. The dictionary includes both direct nominations of concepts (the core of the nominative field) and the nominations of individual cognitive features of a concept (periphery of the nominative field). The dictionary is formed according to the thematic principle and contains the following groups of gender-marked vocabulary: general denomination of a person depending on gender; nominations indicating age and marital status; units reflecting family hierarchy status; denominations representing biological features that are specific only to a certain gender individuals; nominations reflecting traits of character, appearance; ones that call men and women by professional activities, labor processes; ceremonial words; nominations, characterizing the female and male spheres. The structure of the dictionary entry consists of three main parts: headword part, interpretation part of the capital lexical unit, illustrative part. Conclusion. The dictionary supplements the multifaceted description of the Middle Ob dialects. At the same time, it contributes to the new aspects’ identification in gender analysis. The concept of the dictionary is based on the theoretical provisions of gender dialectology and dialect lexicography. All components of a dictionary entry (headword, definitions, notes, illustrative material) reflect the richness of folk speech, testify to a more fragmented division of the world, carried out on other grounds than in the literary language, and reflecting the specifics of rural society and traditional culture. The types of the verb expressing the nature of action, according to the semantic and grammatical characteristics, are differentiated into six aspect groups. Formation and use of type categories and methods of verbal actions in Nizhnekolymsky dialect are revealed with some features, unlike the eastern dialects of the Even language. The composition and use of categories of the verbal species has similar features to the western dialects of the Even language. However, distinct differences are in the formation of the type of imitation of action in the dialect in question. The absence of some forms of multiplicity of actions aspectuality groups, the direction of action and the intensity of action is revealed in the analysis of the functioning of species of verb forms in Nizhnekolymsky dialect. The usage of not previously mentioned in the grammatical descriptions of the four aspect forms in groups of multiplicity of action and intensity of action is fixed. | 3199 | The article deals with basic periods of formation and development of communicative stylistics of text, which has been growing at the Tomsk State Pedagogical University since 1992 at the department of modern Russian and stylistics (from the end of 2017 the department of the Russian language). Peculiarities of this scientific school and factors that defined its dynamics in scientific context of linguistics at the end of XX – beginning of XXI century are described in the article. In the light of the ideas of the communicative paradigm of linguistic knowledge, in the nineties and early 2000s, the achievements of related sciences are formed that fall under the traditional and functional stylistics, functional lexicology and the theory of the communicative text: the main directions of the communicative stylistics of the text: on the verge of linguistic pragmatics – the regulative theory, on the verge of psycholinguistics – theory of text associations, on the verge of philological hermeneutics – the theory of semantic expansion of the text. Each of these areas of communicative stylistics is aimed at researching the effectiveness of dialogue between the author and the reader with the use of text. The main is the systemic and active approach to the text as a form of communication and the phenomenon of idiostyle of the language personality, which is “left” outside the text. Ideas of communicative and active approach to the text, which are realized in works of this trend, were called for the methods of teaching the Russian language. The basic periods of communicative stylistics of text development are due to new tendencies in language and speech research, connected to extension of units of analysis and to intensification of cognitive and discursive aspects of textual activity, expansion of empirical base of researches, that includes at the beginning of XXI century poetic, advertising, epistolary, media discourses. Cognitive and media vector of development is typical for modern communicative stylistics of text. It is obvious that there is the necessity of further expansion of empirical material associated with genre and style variety of up-to-date media communication, elaboration of typology of informational and media language personalities, research of cognitive aspects of their idiostyle as well as perfection of methods of different types of texts’ analysis in perspective. | 3200 | The paper is devoted to the analysis of the linguo-cognitive and cultural characteristics of the opposition representation “intelligence-silliness” on the basis of the Russian and English folk tales. The underlying premises worked out in the framework of the linguistic conceptology serve as the theoretical foundation of the research. The linguistic conceptology is viewed as a branch of modern cognitive linguistics and it often focuses on the comparative analysis of these or those concepts. Folk talk as a genre reflects the reality and interprets it from a certain perspective. Moreover, folk tale can be considered as an axiogenic event which in its turn functions as a kind of an axiogenic situation. The opposition “intelligence-silliness” is analysed from the point of view of lexical explication, gender peculiarities and social status of the tales’ heroes. The conclusion is made that the English and Russian languages differ in terms of estimating and presenting intelligent and silly people. But at the same time intelligence in both linguo-cultures is associated with mental power, common sense, experience. Silliness always means lack of innate intelligence, wit and is even equal to greediness and laziness. The perspectives of the study are outlined. The representation of the opposition “intelligence- silliness” may be studied in the common language consciousness.
