Lakhtin A.Y. IMPACT OF INDEPENDANT PHYSICAL TRAINING UPON STUDENTS’ ADAPTATION TO STUDY AT UNIVERSITY // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2011. Issue 4 (106). P. 5-9

The article deals with the problem of the students’ preparation to independent physical training classes as the health strengthening condition and the adaptation at the higher educational establishment. The basis of the adaptation is the algorithm including theoretical and methodological preparation of the students. The algorithm also includes the students’ ability to self-supervise their psychic, functional and physical state. The pedagogical experiment proved the effectiveness of the students’ preparation algorithm to independent physical training classes and their positive influence on the health level and students’ adaptive abilities.

Ivanov E.A., Zupnik B.M. AUXILIARY SUPERFIELDS IN N = 2 BORN-INFELD THEORY // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 12 (153). P. 103-108

Some time ago the authors proposed a new approach to self-dual electrodynamics and its superextensions, based on introducing auxiliary (super)fields which ensure linearization of the duality transformations. In the talk this universal method is applied for analysis of the self-duality properties of the N = 2 Born-Infeld (BI) action with the nonlinearly realized “hidden” N = 4 supersymmetry. Its self-duality is proved up to the 10th order in the superfield strengths. The conjecture about the general structure of the N = 2 BI action modified by the auxiliary chiral superfields is put forward.

This paper examines the issues of forming a qualitative assessment of educational activities in the system of additional professional education of civil servants. The main principles for assessing the quality of educational activity are revealed. The article states that the scientific understanding of estimating the quality of educational services in the sphere of the additional professional training does not yet meet the real needs in practice. The results of the study, which determines the need for additional professional education for civil servants in management, are presented. The relationship between the need for additional training and personal attitude to the school has been established. The productivity and effectiveness of the organizational and educational conditions required for the effective implementation and developing the quality assessment model for educational activities in the system of additional professional education for state civil employees are determined. The structural and functional model for the quality assessment of educational services with the participation of consumers is suggested. According to this model selfexamination, introspection and external expertise (reflection, research, design of the educational environment) become the leading methods of the assessment. Thus, the position of the teacher changes. The teacher becomes an expert both in relation to his activity and in relation to the activity of the student, who is also placed in the position of an expert regarding his pedagogical activity and achievements in working with students.

Bolotnov A.V. Peculiarities of a media project as a linguo-communication phenomenon and its use in educational activities // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2023. Issue 3 (227). P. 86-94

The role of media education and the need of forming media culture of users are incresing in the presence of intensive development of informational and communication technologies and growing of the Internet influence in the life of a modern person. One of the brightest demonstrations of the media culture of a language personality is the ability to create and adequately perceive media projects as a reflection of a person’s creative facilities in various fields: cultural, communicative, textual, technological. Insufficient knowledge of this issue determines the need for its development. The aim of the article – working out of the problem of organizing media project activities, elaboration of information about the features of a media project as a linguo-communicative phenomenon with relation to its form, content, function, determination of the methods for its creation and analysis. The article uses an expert description of the available sources on the history and theory of the issue, examination, analysis and generalization. In organizing media project activities, it is necessary to rely on a set of methods, including sociological methods, methods of analytical and critical thinking, discursive analysis, methods of effective teamwork; it is necessary to have the skills of text formation and stylistic editing of media texts, the skills of using computer technology. The media project as a form of communication between the creator and the addressee is defined in the article in terms of form, content and functions as a text product based on a combination of various audiovisual technologies, the author’s skills to create new relevant and original content, uniting people as a result of joint communicative activity for the sake of a common cause. Communicative activity involves the creation of media texts and their perception, interpretation and understanding. Media project as a linguo-communicative phenomenon solves problems connected with critical thinking, analysis and synthesis of multifold information and presentation of author’s ideas to the addressee. In the transmission of information, various means are important, including linguistic and non-linguistic ones (indices, symbols, icons). Their competent use determines the effectiveness of media project activities and characterizes its linguo-didactic potential in the field of education. The article describes the types of media projects identified by the author: by structure, genre features and related activities, as well as by the number of participants in educational activities. It is significant that the preparation of a media project includes the definition of its topic, goals and tasks, the factor of the addressee. To do this, according to a set of methods and existing competencies, it is necessary to identify a void; take into account the factor of integration into the general media context; write a script; prepare a presentation, video; determine the site for placement; to carry out cooperation within the framework of team and expert activities; to adapt and adjust the product; consider the distribution of the media project. The parameters of a comprehensive analysis of a media project as a linguo-communicative phenomenon include evaluation criteria 1) publisher; founder; owner; editor 2) goals and tasks of the project; 3) accounting for the reader / viewer audience (target / targeted, general, random); 4) staff of authors, team, directing; 5) internal structure (themes, problems, script, plot, composition, details); 6) genre and stylistic features (genre, type of speech culture of the author, style, vocabulary, syntactic constructions); 7) design (image, verbal/non-verbal, advertising, infographics, effects); 8) frequency of release (day/week/month/year); 9) volume, timing, plan; circulation, number of subscribers, likes/dislikes, comments, views (day/week/month/year); 10) assessment of placement on a particular resource / site / hosting (surveys and data). Media project activity is formed on the knowledge, skills and abilities of the person in the field of theory and practice of media communication, rhetoric, stylistics, media linguistics, as well as in the field of information and computer technologies. The preparation of media projects is complex and contributes to the development of creative thinking, general culture and media culture of the person.

The First World War brought many changes to economic, social and political life of the country. The problem became vitally important either for the central part of Russia or the periphery of empire. Zhikhareva T.Y. THE SYMBOLISM OF THE OLD GERMANIC CONCEPT “THING” AS AN EXPRESSION OF SACRAL CATEGORY IN THE WORK “DAS DING” BY M. HEIDEGGER. // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 4 (157). P. 9-12

The present article deals with the problem of sacral, unfathomable, and has the purpose to trace the sacral and its representation in the old Germanic concept “thing”, also it tries to see the analogy with the German concept “Ding” as well as partially with the English “thing” and has a look at these concepts form the etymological viewpoint. In the process of our research we addressed the work by M. Heidegger “Das Ding”, paid attention to the symbol “der Krug”, referred by Heidegger to the concept “Ding” and to the symbol “das Geviert” which fully expresses the essence of “der Krug” according to Heidegger. “Das Geviert” in its turn is referred to the concept “thing” which implies such elements as “assembly”, “council”, “court”, “lawsuit”, “plea”, “public assembly”.

This article covers and discusses one of the types of corporality discourses related to the body – that of cosmetological discourse which has not been considered before. Comparison of cosmetological, medical and advertising discourses helped to formulate the basic criteria for identifying cosmetological discourse as an independent phenomenon. In this article, we try to discover and analyze the characteristics of cosmetological discourse and the key concepts of this discourse: beauty, youth and health. This research helps to model the fragment of the discursive worldimage, in the descriptive and value aspects. This discourse was formulated in the cosmetological field of humans’ activities.

Teaching of mathematical disciplines in Russian universities has traditionally been based largely on the classic teaching methods (explanatory-illustrative and instructive-reproductive). Of course, the design of programmed instruction, as well as development of simulated and game methods of training is a very time consuming process. However, these training methods can dramatically improve the cognitive interest of students, their responsibility for the result, contribute to the development of skills both individual and collective work. (When using the programmed instruction the pace of learning is individual; in conducting the educational and business games we can develop the ability to act as a team). The effectiveness of innovative interactive methods (programmed instruction, “mathematical fights” and business games) requires not only logical basis, but also the statistical verification. The article studies the effect of the application of some interactive teaching technologies at the results of the students mastering the course of probability theory and mathematical statistics. The pedagogical experiment contained a comparison between one control group and two experimental groups in which these learning technologies were applied. The analysis was based on statistical hypothesis testing using t-test and Wilcoxon criterion. A marked increase in the knowledge quality associated with the use of innovative teaching methods and identified through the use of module-rating system, finds its confirmation in the results of the interim tests and final exam grade. The average exam score (on a 5-point scale) was as follows: 3.3 points for the control group and 3.45–3.6 points for the experimental groups.

Li Y. THE STRUCTURAL DIVERSITY OF THE FEMININE COMPARISONS IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE NOVEL THE KUKOTSKY ENIGMA BY L. ULITSKAYA // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 2 (191). P. 91-98

The significance of research is attributed to the constant attention of linguists paid to the discourse of women’s prose and to the usage of the components of functional-semantic categories, including the category «comparativeness», in the language of artistic works. The article considers the participation of different structural comparisons in the description of the female characters in the novel The Kukotsky Enigma by Lyudmila Ulitskaya. The structural diversity of comparisons is presented within the functional-semantic field of comparativeness. All forms of comparatives are present in the language of the novel, with conjunctional comparisons by similarity prevailing. From comparisons on the difference, there are forms of comparative and negative parallelisms. The gender approach to describing femininely marked comparatives facilitates to identify idiostyle characteristics of the writer, namely the tendency to extend and concretize the image of comparison, the usage of comparisons for the comparison of heroines, the author’s boldness and frankness of comparative images as well as the images’ allusiveness, and axiological differences between feminine comparisons in the speech of the characters and in the author’s speech. Introduction. The practice of segmentation of vocabulary is traditionally based either on a certain (situational) set of criteria for this procedure, or on a larger methodological basis for example the apparatus of a separate linguistic discipline, which often defaults to lexicology as a science about the lexical structure of the language. Being limited to the object of observation, lexicology is hardly capable of independently solving the question posed for the entire linguistic science or, at least, for such a macroscopic discipline as stylistics that urgently needs a reliable criteria base, despite their various functional specialization: stylistics studies the expressive, whereas lexicology the nominative function of language. The aim of the paper is to propose segmentation of the vocabulary fund of the German literary language through the prism of the environmental approach. Material and methods. The implementation of the epistemological (rational-empirical) framework of the environmental approach, which far exceeds not only the limits of the science of language, but also humanitarian knowledge in general, is determined by the specifics of being and development of the language itself as an anthropological phenomenon (loquens), erroneously attributed by poststructuralists exclusively to man. The basis of the environmental approach is the thesis about the environmental origin of the human language and the impossibility of its existence outside the Herder environment. Language exists in the “nutrient solution” of culture and acts as a connecting element of the social interaction of all individuals inhabiting this artificial world. The environmental approach is a capacious epistemological platform that is used to account for the various functional varieties of the language that serve as the basis for its vocabulary segmentation. Results and discussion. The following criteria have been developed for more weighted and general linguistic segmentation of a vocabulary on the example of the German literary language: a) selectivity, b) naturalness, c) reproducibility, d) temporality, e) age. The lexical system of the German language is taken as a model not by chance: the hybrid nature of this language idiom and the high heterogeneity (hybridity) of its resources correlating with it are an advantageous dialectical field of observing the phenomenon of a lexical system functional stratification. The apparatus of the environmental approach is formed by extensive interdisciplinary data that have become commonplace clichés in scientific use and help to obtain interdisciplinary meaningful and objective segmentation of the German literary language vocabulary. The scientific novelty is determined by the implementation of a fundamentally new set of criteria for identifying the components of the vocabulary system of the specified language based on the enlarged epistemological basis of the analysis. Conclusion. The proposed segmentation is intended to expand the boundaries of the lexicology apparatus of the German language, the ideas about the heterogeneity of its lexical system and its evolutionary laws. The data obtained can be used as a material for theoretical courses in lexicology and stylistics when training specialists in the field of German linguistics at all educational levels.

This article is devoted to analysis of dependence of perception of inner form of the compound word from linguistic and extra linguistic conditions. The compound Russian and English lexemes were served as the material of the research, which forming the same notions. Specification of our research encloses in application of another type of classification. We examine structural features of compound lexical units locating into the same linguistic space. Today due to advances in science and technology communication of people around the world is expanding and becoming easier. Undoubtedly, the only means of global communication and understanding between speaking or writing people, is the language. Therefore, the study of foreign languages for all sectors of society, including pupils, students, scientists, businessmen, engineers and doctors, is very important. In recent years, in the Islamic Republic of Iran teaching of English and other languages for people with hearing impairments has improved considerably, but still there are a number of problems in this area in institutions, schools and universities in the country. Firstly, the hearing impaired are taught only the English language, and secondly, the imperfection of methods of teaching leads to a decrease in interest of this category of students in learning a foreign language. It is necessary to reform the methods of teaching deaf and hard of hearing people to a foreign language, which will result in increased interest in learning a foreign language and expanding the diversity of the languages studied. This work is the first study on the methods of teaching the Russian language for the deaf and hard of hearing at the elementary level in Iran.

The article analyzes the degree of scrutiny of issues related to education management of Tartars of Russia in the second half of the XIX century on the example of Astrakhan province. There are the features of the study of the question in the pre-revolutionary (to 1917), Soviet (1917–1991) and contemporary (from 1991) periods. Despite the rich actual material this problem was not the subject of independent research. The authors of the available studies were limited to the study of certain aspects, and the subject remains little developed, moreover, some of these works are the compilation character, so at the moment the main goal is the study of archival materials. It also considers educational policy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in relation to the Tatars of Russia during the reign of the two emperors Alexander II and Alexander III, consisting in attempts to spread the Russian language in Tatar environment. Specifies the legislative acts. Reveals the peculiarity of the Tatar education on the example of the Astrakhan province.
