The Moodle platform served as basis for summing up and testing of created techniques. Further goals on educational system development are also argued. It is planned to continue the development of electronic courses intended for supporting independent student work while studying the disciplines. | 3568 | In the article the issues of penitentiary staff training during the first years of the Soviet government are revealed. These issues are of concern for research as one of the underworked topics in native science. The author focuses on the events connected with it, on historical and pedagogical experience, trials and errors of pioneers of Soviet penitentiary staff training system. Chronological boundaries of the article are determined by the major events of Russian history, which were highly influential on the process of professional penitentiary staff training. The lowest boundary begins in October 1917 with inauguration of Bolshevik regime. The highest is connected with the Second Congress of penitentiary affairs officials of the RSFSR held from November to December 1924, after the agreements of which systematic solutions of the issues of Soviet penitentiary staff training became possible since the second half of 1920s. The first agreements of the government during the first years of Bolshevik regime concerning penitentiary personnel policy and shifting penitentiary priorities are revealed. The central place in the article is devoted to the revealing of external and domestic factors undermining the professional penitentiary staff training and having a negative impact on the possibilities of penitentiary personnel policy in that period. The conclusion about the role of the first educational endeavors’ of Soviet government in foundation of the Soviet system of penitentiary staff training is stated. | 3569 | The article deals with the cognitive foundations of the mental phenomenon of imagination as well as the language representation of the ability to form and model an image. Imagination as a mental activity is the ability to form and shape an image. Analysis of the language conceptualization of imagination is based on the method of a cognitive modeling of a situation, with the help of which it is possible to access the knowledge of the mental process studied. A large number of verb nominations verbalizing the process of imagination attests to the importance of this phenomenon for the English language picture of the world. According to the empirical material the situation of imagination can be categorized by verbs that differently characterize it. The generalization of the components of the semantic structure of linguistic expressions and the contexts of their representation have made it possible to construct a cognitive model of the situation of imagination with the following participants: the subject of imagination, the process of imagination (as the formation of mental images in a certain space-time environment) and the object of imagination (imaginary). The volume of the empirical material allowed us to identify and analyze the signs of the participants of the situation of imagination. | 3571 | Introduction. The paper analyzes the characteristics of the compositional structure of the speech genre of cinema announcement functioning on the Internet. The structure of movie announcements of different types is compared; the specificity of the composition of movie announcements for Indian films is revealed based on the data obtained. Aim and objectives. Description of the composition of the speech genre of the cinema announcement, functioning on the Internet. Material and methods. The study is based on the linguistic-stylistic analysis method, which includes observation, comparison, interpretation, discursive analysis. The material taken for research is 250 cinema-announcements for Indian films written in Russian and posted on the website Indiankino.net. The volume of the studied texts is 6–8 sentences (from 60–100 words). These are movie announcements for films of different genres: melodramas, dramas, thrillers, comedies, action films, etc. Results and discussion. The studied texts have a similar theme, a relatively stable composition and a repeating set of means of linguistic embodiment, which allows us to consider the movie announcement as a separate speech genre. To describe it, a model has been developed that includes the following parameters: communicative goal, image of the author, image of the addressee, image of the past, image of the future, type of dictum content, features of the language embodiment, composition, verbal and non-verbal means. The composition of the movie announcement is one of the most important genre-forming features. It was determined that the composition of cinema announcements for Indian films operating in the Internet environment includes such elements as the title, image (mostly posters), additional information about the film (the name of the characters and directors of the film, year of release of the film, film genres, original name of the film, language in which the film is available), Internet tools (film rating, social media buttons for exchanging film information with other people), description of the film: exposition, main part, ending. Conclusion. The compositional structure and elements of different types of movie announcements (for example, printed movie announcements, movie announcements written in other languages, movie announcements of films from other countries) differ from each other, which depends on the time of their writing, the scope of functioning, and the author’s style. Each of the structural elements of the speech genre of cinema announcement has pragmatic potential and serves to fulfill the main functions of the studied speech genre – to provide information about the film and to influence the addressee and draw his attention to the film. The article deals with the problem of optimizing the teaching of Russian as a foreign language using computer technologies at the stage of pre-University training of Chinese students. Students from China experience a number of difficulties related to cultural, national characteristics, as well as large differences in the principles of their native and Russian languages. The aim of the work is to analyze the practices of using computer technologies at the initial stage of studying RCT by Chinese students; to postulate the need to use existing electronic educational complexes, as well as to create new ones. Material and methods. The methodology included information retrieval, continuous sampling analysis, and systematization. Results and discussion. The theoretical and practical significance of the study lies in the systematization of the described experience of using electronic resources and conclusions. In Russia, several electronic and methodological complexes have been created in recent years, which simplify the process of mastering Russian as a foreign language. Using them, the student can repeatedly reproduce the training material, return to it after some time. The effective experience of using e-courses at the stage of pre-University training is described. They are used in Moscow, Krasnodar, Voronezh and other cities. Most of the computer systems concern phonetics as a section of the Russian language. This is due to the complexity of this section for international students. The part is created on topics that are studied much later than the initial stage, for example, «Chemistry», «Economics», «Literature». We have noted the lack of narrowly thematic educational electronic materials for students of the initial stage. Also, for effective learning and comfort in a foreign language environment, students can be provided with interactive dictionaries. It is important that the role of the teacher is not leveled in the course of using electronic learning environments. Conclusion. Interactive courses serve as necessary additional elements in the training system of RCTS, but they cannot replace the tutor’s control by a live person. We noted the descriptive nature of scientific works on the functioning of e-courses, which means that there is a need to quantify their effectiveness using sociological, pedagogical and statistical methods, and to highlight the results in the General pedagogical discourse. | 3573 | Introduction. The article indicates the relevance of the problem of changes in the process of teachers’ training for intercultural interaction in a region. The authors identified the key tasks, the solution of which will help in the further design of a predictive model for the development of the teacher training system. The aim of the research is to substantiate the stages of designing a predictive model for preparing teachers for intercultural interaction. Material and methods. The leading methods of the current research is the analysis of theoretical literature. The choice of such research approaches as structural and structural-functional make it possible to characterize the process of preparing teachers for intercultural interaction as multicomponent, multilevel and multistage in the context of interaction between the regional education system and the system of higher education in the Russian Federation. Results and discussion. The stages of designing a predictive model for preparing teachers for intercultural interaction are proposed, the essence of the concepts of “training teachers” and “changes in training” is substantiated, strategies for organizing the training of teachers for intercultural interaction are indicated (overcoming the existing linearity, practice orientation and continuity and strategies for advanced learning). Moreover, the authors of the current research analyze the role of the factors that affect the process of teachers’ training for intercultural interaction. Thus, socio-political factors determine a new understanding of the strategy for the development of higher pedagogical education in the context of strengthening ethno-cultural processes (legislation in the field of regional policy development, the position of the state in the field of regulating ethnic processes and the dissemination of ideas for the preservation of ethnic cultures; growth of ethnocultural processes). Regional factors determine the specificity of the region development (the demographic structure of the population, social mobility, dynamically changing requirements of the labor market). Personal factors explain the necessity of correction and the new aims development in higher pedagogical education within the specificity of ethno-cultural diversity (the readiness of teachers for intercultural interaction; pedagogical initiatives, a framework program for teachers’ training to intercultural interaction). Conclusion. Based on the study, it was suggested that the result of the next study should be the development of components of a predictive model for preparing teachers for intercultural interaction. It assumes the need to overcome the traditional process in the organization of foreign language teaching in non-linguistic universities that train specialists in different spheres of production. The possibility of using the system of knowledge of neuropsychology for the organization of a foreign language learning process for students of technical specialties is justified. | 3591 | In recent years the spread of information warfare has encouraged increasing interest to influencing and manipulative capacity of media. In this regard it appears to be relevant to analyse how this capacity is realized in different publicistic texts. The article aims to illuminate the function specific of a political essay. A political essay combines features of publicistic and newspaper styles. Newspaper style determines realization of informative function while publicistic style – influence function. Those functions are realized through objective and subjective modality respectively. The author uses influence function to impose on readers his ideas and positions, which he does openly and directly. Usually these ideas are stated in the title of the essay and the essay itself is devoted to it. The analysis implies that the influence function is most commonly represented by metaphors, emotionally loaded words and epithets. A political essay is also influenced by the political discourse, which is highly manipulative by its nature. So political discourse makes influence function evolve into manipulation one. The author manipulates when he does not want to reveal his position and tries to indistinguishably force it on readers. That is why the author uses manipulation function to communicate ideas, which are not openly stated and usually are not mentioned in the title or subtitle of the essay. | 3592 | In accordance with the personality-oriented and practice-oriented approaches, the article introduces criteria and scales for evaluating the results and the process of project activities, which foreign philology students practise while developing primary professional skills and preparing for pedagogical practice. Projects developed and implemented by students are usually individual due to the interethnic nature of student groups. They contribute to the development of intercultural communication, since in the course of projects the undergraduates introduce Russian speakers (and representatives of other nationalities who speak Russian) to cultural and linguistic features of their native countries and at the same time are becoming more and more aware of the cultural and linguistic features of the country of the studied language (Russia). In this regard, the understanding of project-making technology and the consideration of a number of factors (social and cultural, linguistic, etc.) are very important for the teacher. The knowledge of these allows the teacher not only to help foreign students in choosing the topic and the master class for the project, in arranging an individual trajectory of the project activity and in the timely and qualitative implementation of the tasks set, but also to adequately assess the results of the activity. The method of projects is based on the project practice, according to which at each stage (preparatory, main and final) certain skills such as reflective skills, search for information skills, presentational skills, organizational skills, communication skills and skills of group and individual work are formed. In this regard, the choice of assessment tools offered in the article (report on the results of the project; the project data sheet; the summary of the project; presentation; photos and videos; essays; student’s work review ; training; discussion) is justified taking into account not only the goals and objectives of project practices, activities, specific aspects of evaluation (project development, results, its structure, presentation), but also the list of competencies being developed, among which the most important are communicative, intercultural and information ones. When defining criteria and indicators for certain assessment tools (essay, summary, etc.) State Educational Standard in Russian as a Foreign Language, which sets out the requirements for specific communication skills (e.g. writing skills and speaking skills), and Federal Educational Standard of Higher Education 45.04.01 Philology play an important role as regulatory documents. The number of criteria and points is determined on the basis of the methodological importance of specific evaluation tools. The teacher’s review of the student’s work during pedagogical practice is of particular importance when counting the total number of points which can be scored for the project. The five-point rating scale is adopted for the final mark for the whole project as it is considered the most comfortable and familiar for both teachers and students. The problem of modern teaching methods of creative activity is formulated as a contradiction between the need for a clear reproducible action and the need to work with hidden objectivity: motivation, as well as different types of thinking that are not available for teacher’s observation and are often not recognized by the student. For consideration is submitted a hypothesis about a new subject of the method of teaching creative writing - switching attention. Aim and objectives. The purpose of this article is to reveal the principles of creative writing teaching method based on the concept of flexible action. Material and research methods. The research materials presented are essays and mind maps produced by 5–7 grade students. Research methods are as follows: organization of learning (mind mapping and setting creative tasks), text analysis (compositional and semantic) and theoretical reasoning (mental modeling and extrapolation). Results and discussion. Implementation terms and conditions of new method have been revealed, the scope for understanding features of attention switching as a flexible action has been worked out. The difference between shifting and switching attention has been introduced and characterized. Stages of learning (activity) have been distinguished, as well as the core (know how), which is essential for the method strategic development in junior and secondary school and is seen as enhancement of mind map as intellectual tool. Basic starting points and mind map complexity levels have been defined in terms of usage in the 5th grade learning process. Students’ writings are provided to show the options of text analysis with the help of markers. Quality criterion (diversity) has been distinguished to reflect the flexible action efficiency. Principles and postulates of flexible and spontaneous action have been articulated. Conclusion. Finally, practical effects of the new method are defined, in particular, the possibility of flexible thinking purposeful development.
