Stepanova E.S. ACTUALIZATION OF THE INTERDISCOURSE CATEGORY IN THE SCIENTIFIC MEDICAL DISCOURSE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 7 (196). P. 19-24

The article deals with the question of representation of the interdiscourse category in the scientific medical discourse. It provides the differentiation of the notions “intertextuality” and “interdiscursivity” and gives parameters of their differentiation. In case of intertextuality the sings are linguistic units that indicate the interaction between texts, in case of interdiscursivity the indications are the elements of conceptual and linguistic plan of the discourse. The article shows the interaction between intertextuality and interdiscursivity in the scientific medical discourse. Intertextuality depends on interdiscursivity and marks it with the help of different linguistic means. In the scientific medical discourse marked and unmarked forms represent interdiscursive connections. The article presents the examples of realization of interdiscursive connections in the scientific medical discourse. It concludes that interdiscursivity in the scientific medical discourse is a cognitive and a discursive phenomenon. The cognitive side of interdiscursivity reflects the possibility to gain and organize medical knowledge; the discursive one is connected with the extension of knowledge in the text that allows considering the acquired knowledge and experience. The category of interdiscourse is actualized by the inclusion of fragments of knowledge in this type of text that have textual and nontextual etymology and which relate to other discourses.

Morogin V.G. Two Viewpoints on the Nature of Psychical Reality // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2002. Issue 3 (31). P. 61-66

The article treats positive and negative sides of the traditional view on the problem of the origin of the psychic. The author emphasizes the indisputable fact that the enormous amount of data accumulated in the arsenal of the sciences related to a human being, are impossible to explain from the standpoint of the officially recognized materialistic paradigm. He also points out the existence of extensive scientific research, the results of which obviously disagree with the evolutional theory of the psychic development of the person. The author presents arguments in favour of the alternative opinion, supported by the research based on the humanistic, existential and transpersonal concepts. He supposes that the alternative humanistic approach to solving urgent problems in psychology and psychiatry will be able to fill the void that appeared between the traditional Western thought and the philosophical system of the Ancient East.

Hydrosphere is the most ancient part of biosphere the further development of which is directed to the settling of aerial surroundings and lithosphere cover by organisms. This main track was assumed as a basis of partition of development history into three periods such as hydrozemic, atmozemic and lithozemic ones. Each period is accompanied by respective trend of soil formation, for example hydrozemic period corresponds with underwater soil formation and atmozemic and lithozemic ones to swamp and land respectively. Soil formation influenced on the development of biota by double means, in other words through the change of outer conditions which happened as a result of soil formation, and indirectly through the soil as a habitat

Gefan G.D., Kuz’min O.V. COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EDUCATIONAL METHODS ON THE EXAMPLE OF TEACHING THE PROBABILITY THEORY AND MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 4 (181). P. 49-56

Teaching of mathematical disciplines in Russian universities has traditionally been based largely on the classic teaching methods (explanatory-illustrative and instructive-reproductive). Of course, the design of programmed instruction, as well as development of simulated and game methods of training is a very time consuming process. However, these training methods can dramatically improve the cognitive interest of students, their responsibility for the result, contribute to the development of skills both individual and collective work. (When using the programmed instruction the pace of learning is individual; in conducting the educational and business games we can develop the ability to act as a team). The effectiveness of innovative interactive methods (programmed instruction, “mathematical fights” and business games) requires not only logical basis, but also the statistical verification. The article studies the effect of the application of some interactive teaching technologies at the results of the students mastering the course of probability theory and mathematical statistics. The pedagogical experiment contained a comparison between one control group and two experimental groups in which these learning technologies were applied. The analysis was based on statistical hypothesis testing using t-test and Wilcoxon criterion. A marked increase in the knowledge quality associated with the use of innovative teaching methods and identified through the use of module-rating system, finds its confirmation in the results of the interim tests and final exam grade. The average exam score (on a 5-point scale) was as follows: 3.3 points for the control group and 3.45–3.6 points for the experimental groups.

Keywords: interactive learning technology, module-rating system, control and evaluation activities, pedagogical experiment, statistical hypothesis testing

Pozdeeva S.I. METHODS AND TOOLS OF ORGANIZING TEACHER’S METHODICAL ACTIVITY // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 1 (207). P. 56-60

Introduction. The article is devoted to the problem of organizing the methodological activities of a school teacher and university teacher. Methodological activity is the most important component of a teacher’s professional activity, therefore it is important to understand in what ways it can be organized. This aspect is important not only for teachers of private methods, but also for any teacher of higher education, as he is a methodologist - the organizer of the assimilation of educational material by students. When preparing undergraduates as potential teachers, it is important to teach them different ways of organizing methodological activities. Materials and methods. The article was written on the basis of the author’s generalization of the teaching experience for undergraduates “Methods of Teaching Communicative Disciplines”, as well as many years of experience in teaching a course in teaching Russian to future elementary school teachers. Master students not only got acquainted with these methods at lectures, but also actively discussed them in tutorial mode. A comparative analysis of reproductive, constructive, research methods of organizing activities is used. Results and discussion. Bolotnov A.V. REGULATIVE POTENTIAL OF TERTIARY MEDIA TEXTS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 41-47

The article deals with topical for up-to-date media communication tertiary texts, named so by the author. These texts are reactions to primary and secondary media texts. According to regulative theory as one of the trends of communicative stylistics of text it analyses the regulative potential of tertiary media texts, including typical and more spread regulative means, regulative structures, means of regulativity and regulative strategies, which determine pragmatics of media communication members; reveales the factors, which influence efficiency of this process. Comments to primary and secondary texts from the site of radio station “Echo of Moscow” to the interview of K. Kosachev in April 2017 are the material of the research. It was determined that there is a dependence of regulative potential of tertiary media texts not only on individual peculiarities of its authors (level of their speech and common culture, specificity of world’s view, psychological and cognitive qualities), but also on such factors as informational area (site, in which the text is placed); subjects of primary media text; informational field of author’s and journalist’s language personalities including their value orientation; genre peculiarity of tertiary media text; media channel of connection owing to which efficient reaction on opinions of other Internet users is realised. It was revealed that value modality of tertiary media texts of comments genre is connected with dominating of emotional and valuation vocabulary including invectives, usage of different means of influence, including tropes, phraseological units, aphorisms. Among the regulative structures means of repetition (with citing of opponent’s statements or a primary text’s author) and a contrast for an opposing your own opinion to others is rather spread. The typical for tertiary media texts means of regulativity are the principles of simultaneity and vectors in the text activity of communicants. According to regulative strategy the most frequent strategy is an explicit strategy of intensifying and convergent type with predominance of the logic of expressing emotions. The results are of great interest for the theory of speech influence, media linguistics, communicative stylistics of text.

Potapova A.S., Oglezneva E.A. SPEECH PORTRAIT OF A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE EASTERN BRANCH OF RUSSIAN EMIGRATION IN AUSTRALIA // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 4 (201). P. 121-128

Introduction. The paper deals with the speech portrayal of a representative of the eastern branch of Russian emigration in Australia. Australia was one of the countries re-emigrated by Russian emigrants from China, particularly from Harbin, which was the center of Russian eastern emigration in the 1960s. The research was carried out within the framework of linguopersonology, a modern trend in linguistics, which studies the individual speech patterns of a linguistic personality. The purpose of this paper is to analyze both linguistic and sociolinguistic speech characteristics of a representative of the eastern branch of Russian emigration in Australia. Scientific relevance of the research results from the interest of modern anthropocentric linguistics in the linguistic personality phenomenon and in the language of the Russian emigration, which in the twentieth century existed in special linguistic conditions. Materials and research methods. The major method used in the paper is the method of speech portrayal. The research was based on the audio records of the speech of a representative of Russian emigration in Australia. These records are a valuable historical and linguistic source of information about the Russian eastern emigration in the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. Results and discussion. The speech of a representative of Russian eastern emigration is studied as a set of proper linguistic and sociolinguistic characteristics. His speech patterns are analyzed at different levels of the language system: phonetic, morphological, syntactic and lexical. The speech analysis of the Russian re-emigrant from China to Australia demonstrates a good preservation of the Russian mother tongue at different levels of the language system although throughout his life the linguistic personality existed in a foreign language environment. His speech is not influenced by the Chinese language, which he did not know, though he spent twenty years in China. There is not much interference from the English language except for some borrowings, though he has been living in the English speaking environment for fifty years and is fluent in English. Conclusion. The high level at which the Russian native language is preserved in the speech of Russian re-emigrants from Harbin to Australia is highly dependent on the subjective factors. It is an amazing linguistic phenomenon, demonstrating the preservation of the native Russian language as a means of national and cultural identification and the main attribute of national identity.

Velichko O.P., Poleva E.A. FAIRY-TALE INTERTEXT IN LENA ELTANG`S NOVEL “STONE MAPLES” (PART 2) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 5 (211). P. 174-180

Introduction. This article is a continuation of a previously begun study of intertextuality in the novel “Stone Maples” by contemporary writer Lena Eltang. In the first part, the subject of analysis was the allusive correlations of the storyline of Sasha Sonley with the motives of the folklore tale of female initiation. In the second part, we turn to the intertextual analysis of the plot line of the central character Luellin and the artistic space of the novel. The purpose of the work – is to identify the semantics and functions of the fairy-tale intertext in Lena Eltang’s modernist novel “Stone Maples”. Material and methods. Intertextual and motivational analysis based on the works of I. Smirnov, M. Gasparov, B. Gasparov, and I. Paperno was applied. Also, the theoretical basis of the research is the works of folklorists and psychologists devoted to the motivational structure of folklore tales about an orphan girl, the plot of initiation (O. M. Freudenberg, E. N. eleonskaya, R. Efimkin, etc.). The research material is Lena Eltang’s novel “Stone Maples”. Results and discussion. Llewellyn’s storyline is also organized in accordance with the fairy-tale story of initiation (disobedience and separation from the father, name change, search for the bride, guessing riddles/passing tests to reunite with the betrothed, going beyond the sea / to the afterlife, returning to the beloved). In addition, the fairy-tale intertext is manifested at the level of artistic space: “Stone Maples” – the house-hotel of the Sonli family is allusively connected with the image of the “petrified”, enchanted Kingdom. This toponymic image is correlated in the novel with allusions to a complex of fairy-tale motifs about an enchanted bride/groom. Conclusion. An analysis of the intertextual level of the novel will allow us to state that for Lena Eltang an important sematic resource for modeling the author’s art world is not only folklore texts themselves, but also scientific studies on folklore. The dialogue-strained semantic relationship with folklore allows us to isolate not the superficial correlation of the novel with a fabulous intertext, but to enter the anthroposophical concept of Eltang: she is interested in the type of personality living in what is happening to him in two changes: profane-everyday and sacred. The collisions of modern man (self-determination, relationship with Others, the search for his second half) repeat the eternal, essentially unchanged subjects of initiation.
