The communicative status and “parallel” reading of the poem and documentary prose (memoirs, letters, etc.) have specified Bunin in the interference of two stories – a singing canary and a poet-emigrant. The author’s relation to the events, which have occurred in Russia of 1917, through the latent communication of the latter with “wonderful island” and Atlantis, comes to light. The choice of the topic of the article is due to the accumulated experience, scientific research in the formation of functional literacy of future bachelors, masters in the field of ecologization of professional activity. The aim of the study is to conduct a discourse analysis of the formation of functional literacy in the field of ecologization of professional activity in the context of the transformation of modern education. Material and methods. Theoretical: analysis of pedagogical, philosophical, sociological, literature, normative legal documents; discourse analysis. Empirical: analysis of pedagogical experience, pedagogical experiment, observation, survey methods (questionnaire, conversation), statistical processing of results. Results and discussion. The discourse analysis proves that the formation of functional literacy in the field of ecologization determines the developing effect of pedagogical and technical education, which is associated with the emergence of new values (eco-awareness, eco-thinking, eco-humanity), which are in demand in the practice of the future bachelor, master, specialist (teacher, engineer). A new vision of the greening of professional activity as a necessary process, principle, method of stabilization and sustainable development in the “man – nature society” system in the conditions of transformation of society and education is shown. The features of the construction of the educational process are revealed, taking into account the developed directions and content modules included in the disciplines of pedagogical and technical directions, focused primarily on values, harmony with the surrounding world, personal responsibility for the ecology of the surrounding world, its safety, health preservation – as important indicators of the eco-literacy of a university graduate and a new quality of life of a person of the XXI century. The program “Ecological metadidactics” was implemented in the direction 44.04.01 (pedagogical education, master’s degree level), the main goal of which is related to the development of didactic systems, technologies of teaching and upbringing of an ecological personality by future masters. The program was implemented through a set of classes of different plans, where a greater emphasis was on practical development of skills, problem-solving skills, working out mechanisms within the framework of awareness, increasing knowledge in the field of didactics, education as special ecological systems. Conclusion. The implementation of the greening process is integrated into the content and activity components of professional education and assumes the active involvement of future bachelors in scientific, practical, project activities of an environmental orientation to obtain a high-quality result, which provides a new format of voluminous thinking, creativity, those qualitative indicators that allow a modern graduate of a higher school to think globally and act locally in conjunction with a system of eco-values, which ensures the sustainability of the development of the “man nature society” system. The article provides a brief overview of the employment prospects of the technical universities graduates and describes one of the most urgent issues of modern Russian society which is the problem of successful employment of university graduates and optimal realization of their professional and personal potential. The realities of the modern Russian labor market are uncertain, so many university graduates do not have the opportunity to find a job in their specialty, to find a worthy application of the professional knowledge gained at the university. Aim and objectives. The aim of the article is to analyze the problems of motivation in foreign languages learning in the technical university and justify the need to develop certain measures to encourage motivation of students. Material and methods. In pedagogy and psychology, there are different approaches to understanding the essence, nature and structure of motivation. The methods of study and formulated interpretations of the concept “motivation” vary widely. In this article we analyzed pedagogical approaches, according to which motivation, actively involving students of technical higher education institution in the learning process, contributes to the formation of their foreign language competence. Results and discussion. As a result, the problem of creating certain conditions aimed at the increasing of the university graduates’ adaptability at the labor market is raised. This adaptability is based on the obtaining of additional knowledge and competencies. One of the ways to increase the competitiveness of the university graduates at the labor market is foreign language competence which is the complex of knowledge and skills that allows a university graduate to use a foreign language effectively both in professional activities and in social life. Moreover, foreign language competence is regarded today as an integral part of the general professional competence of a technical specialist. In order to obtain the optimal level of foreign language competence the authors recommend using the professional focused foreign language model which takes into account professional and language needs of technical specialists. The successful realization of professionally-focused foreign language education claims for a certain system of motivation, especially at technical universities, whose students have low motivation to study the foreign language due to the technical style of thinking and underestimation of the importance and value of foreign language knowledge in the future professional functioning. That is why the important pedagogical task is to motivate students to consciously perceive and learn a foreign language. Conclusion. Analyzing the general problems of motivation in the educational process, the authors generalize the pedagogical experience of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI). The article shows that professional development of future engineers, expansion of their socio-cultural, cognitive and informative horizons, are largely associated with the foreign language competence. The authors call for the technical universities teachers to expand the measures aimed at increasing the motivational level of students in the process of learning a foreign language. | 5031 | Introduction. This article considers the concept law as a part of the field of social and legal relations, that is the sphere of human life which is regulated by legal norms. The purpose of the study is to find out how the component of the law concept associated with the area of social and legal relations is represented in the language consciousness of the young Russian native speaker. Material and methods. To achieve this goal, the author conducted associative, receptive and color experiments with the participation of student recipients, and also compiled the relevant fields. A series of experiments was carried out twice: in 2013–2015 and 2017–2018, it allowed to analyze the perception of the studied concept by the recipients in dynamics. In addition, the results of the study were compared with the data from the Russian associative dictionary, experiments for this dictionary were conducted at the end of the 20th century. This made it possible to track changes in the linguistic consciousness of the young Russian speaker over the last decades. Results and discussion. Using only one type of experiment to analyze the language consciousness is not enough, because the links between its structures are not linear, therefore, the data obtained during one type of experiment must be verified by experiments of other types. Associative, receptive and color experiments allowed us to bring to the surface and analyze different structures of consciousness and different types of speech activity, and also to characterize the concept under study from different sides. Conclusion. Over the past decades, the number of legal reactions to the “law” stimulus has significantly increased, which indicates changes in the language consciousness of Russian native speakers. The experiments carried out give grounds to assert that recipients associate the concept of law with the sphere of social and legal relations. This may indicate an increase in the level of legal culture among young people. At the same time, the tendency towards a more negative perception of the stimulus law has clearly emerged in recent years, and it is also confirmed by the results of experiments. | 5032 | Introduction. Terminology contributes to the representation of the world picture because each lexical unit fixes the experience of both a separate nation and the whole mankind. The result of their interaction can be found in the perceptual unity and uniform representation of the world. Verbs, designating special notions, are the verbal representation of pragmatically revised scholary insight, which reflect the pattern of thoughtway, bases of mental activity, professional background, cultural and linguistic competence of specialists. Aim and objectives. The aim of the article is to study verbs, which designate special medical notions, and to show that they are a universal means to represent the world picture of medicine, and as a means which help to reveal the tramline and functioning of scientific thought. Material and methods. The material of the investigation includes one- and multiword verbs and verb phrases which represent various medical processes. Etymological, word-building and definitional analyses are used. Results and discussion. Universality which is characteristic of the world picture of medicine is reflected in the use of Greek and Latin terminological elements in the structure of a verb. National characteristics appear in the use of morphological elements and lexical and semantic principles of word-building. The world pictures of sciences also reflect historical evolution of notions and terms which can be revealed in the processes of terminologization and determinologization of verbs which are used in the language of medicine. The history of the development of special medical verbs demonstrates the interaction of the everyday and scientific world pictures. It is proved by etymology of verbs and polysemy of verbs within the medical discourse and with the verbs functioning in other branches of science. Lexical units which represent various medical processes are a kind of propositional structures which show a definite area of the world picture in its entirety. Thus, they can demonstrate the process as a cognitive script, which demonstrates implicitly the array of actions. It is a kind of metonymical representation of the process which is put into verbs. Conclusion. A verb can be considered as a means to interpret the world picture of this or that field of science. In regards to language of medicine the verbs allow to reveal the pattern and volume of semantic development of a word, to trace the scientific history of medicine in synchrony and diachrony. | 5048 | The article presents an overview of rationales for euphemisms usage. We consider the problem from the point of psycholinguistics, social psychology, evolutionary biology and ethology. Biological researchers believe that a need for euphemisms could be one of the earliest linguistic imperatives imposed by disgust, thus euphemisms present a verbal hygiene strategy. Psychologists state that it is a distancing strategy, a means to manage human terror at the prospect of death. The article also considers the central role of politeness and cooperation principle in euphemistic and off-record indirect speech generation. From the perspective of the theory of strategic speaker indirect communication does not always involve pure cooperation between speaker and hearer but a mixture of cooperation and conflict and euphemising can be used to negotiate this uncertainty. Therefore, euphemism as a form of indirect proposition can allow for plausible deniability and has a strategic rationale. | 5049 | In the article we are talking about the interaction of the higher and secondary schools in the context of the implementation of the competence approach, on the one hand, as a manifestation of the openness and continuity of the modern educational process, on the other, as an important component of the university training of students who study in the field of Pedagogical Education. It is noted that a knowledge component in the university education of this contingent of trainees should be present sufficiently, and substantive training should necessarily be guided by future professional activity. In fact, university training in the subject area of students of a pedagogical university should use the criterion of applicability of information in future professional activity as a priority reference point in studying any topic of each subject block. In this connection, the student is obliged to know the normative base of general education, to have an idea of the programs implemented in the general education school, to be able to give them a competent assessment. The student should be familiar with a certain range of scientific and educational-methodical literature on the subject. The role of educational and production practices, research work, as well as network sites, stimulating students’ motivation for mastering the profession, social adaptation and personal growth, is also being updated in the process of the university training of students-philologists. As an example, the forms of network interaction practiced in the process of implementing the program “Formation of the professional culture of teachers in the new educational conditions” are analyzed as part of the network of the experimental site “school – university” (IAOU School No. 14 named after A. F. Lebedev, Tomsk – Tomsk State Pedagogical University). It is concluded that it is the orientation of a pedagogical university to a school and close interaction with it that will allow for the professional training of students-philologists in the context of the changed requirements of society, presented to the modern teacher. | 5050 | The aim of work is to know how the project activity development dynamics of first-year students of psychological and pedagogical departments could be arranged and prove suggestions of project activity development levels: reproductive, productive, constructive. Based on the previous research and experience of working with future teachers, we suggest a hypothesis that in order to organize learning academic activity of children, a student needs to discover his/her own logic of pedagogical project, which, besides the commonly known project stages of idea – implementation – result also includes discovery of pedagogical principles as the main essence of professional knowledge instead of using a ready pattern. The content analysis method was used which collect data associates with the student’s ability to project activities. The work describes the results of the experiment in which participated 76 first-year students of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Siberian Federal University”, including 52 students from two experimental groups of psycho-pedagogical direction and 24 students from the control group of pedagogical direction of training. The results show that the progress in project activity development of experimental group students differs significantly from the progress in project activity development of control group students. Therefore, it is only the focused work of the teacher intended to develop and implement the pedagogical project ideas, based on the open search dialogue activity principles discovered and formulated by students, that brings them to such results as early as during the first year of studies.
