Chernikova E.O. COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ECOLOGICAL TERMS: ETYMOLOGICAL ASPECT. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 11 (176). P. 85-90

National expression form of a particular scientific terminology in multi-structural languages shows a law of scientific thinking of a specific nation and its national world-view identity. Taking into account that while choosing special vocabulary units for verbalization of a new notion “etymological preferences” convey to a great extent national distinguishing features of an individual mental activity in a particular professional sphere, address to the comparative analysis of etymological specifity within the basic vocabulary of Russian and English ecological terminology. Consequently separation of primary terminological groups – native and borrowed – is of interest with regard to anthropolinguistic research since its correlation in a particular terminology (preponderance of some terms over others) can demonstrate identity of national thinking or dependence of a particular national thinking on another.

Malova I.E., Matushkina Z.P., Penskaya Y.K. DESIGNING DIAGNOSTIC MATERIALS THAT SERVE FOR IDENTIFICATION OF READINESS OF FUTURE MATHEMATICS TEACHERS FOR PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 12 (189). P. 109-117

There is the problem of diagnostics of readiness of future mathematics teachers for professional activity in connection with the transition of higher education to the new standards based on the competence, personality-oriented and activity approaches to teaching. The concept of “readiness for professional activity” is associated with the concept of “professional competence”. The analysis of works on the diagnosis of professional competence from the point of view of psychodidactics allows us to identify certain requirements for the diagnosis of readiness of future mathematics teachers for professional activity: diagnostics should be carried out in the form of monitoring, thereby, its developmental function is realized; monitoring involves the use of the means of pedagogical support in case of educational difficulties of the diagnosed, thereby realizing the teaching function of the diagnostics; it should include the means of self-diagnosis, thereby the educational function of diagnostics is being realized. The designing of diagnostic materials for this monitoring was carried out using the example of diagnosing the readiness of future mathematics teachers to learn to solve text problems – one of the important components of mathematical training. Educational texts were developed in accordance with the structure of the problem-solving process, based on the requirements for diagnostics. Texts allow future mathematics teachers to estimate their readiness in the following areas of professional activity: the analysis of learners’ difficulties in solving problems; methodical work at the stage of the task condition analysis; use of various methods for solving text problems; additional work on the task; designing tasks aimed at learning problem-solving; comparison, recognition and construction of teaching texts; the use of historical and methodical experience in problem solving.

Zhao D. Spatial Mobility anSPATIAL MOBILITY AND SPIRITUAL OSCILLATIONS: ESTRANGEMENT OF DIASPORIC FEMALES IN MULBERRY AND PEACH AND SEARCHING FOR SYLVIE LEEd Spiritual Oscillations: Estrangement of Diasporic Females in Mulberry and Peach and Searching for Sylvie Lee. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 3 (215). P. 135-145

Introduction. The problems of awareness of life difficulties, psychological needs and anxieties of women of the Asian diaspora, as well as their survival strategies are studied. Material and methods. This paper takes a comparative literature approach and textual close reading methods to interpret two novels written by Chinese overseas female writers. Results and discussion. Both Nieh Hualing’s Mulberry and Peach (1981) and Jean Kwok’s Searching for Sylvie Lee (2019) depict the diasporic experiences of female fictional characters in war times and peaceful contemporary era respectively. Even if the dates of publication of the two novels are across nearly half a century, there are a number of identical elements between them. For instance, both female protagonists suffer from constant cross-border movements, estrangement, even schizophrenia. This paper endeavors to tackle the problems that firstly why female diasporas fall into the estrangement predicament through ceaseless transnational movements, then what are the dialectical relations of spatial mobility and estrangement, and lastly how and why they forge the alternating personality and fluid identity. Conclusion. Through analysis, it concludes that the ceaseless spatial mobility experiences prompt the diasporic protagonists to estrange from their family, culture and self. Furthermore, spatial mobility and estrangement interplay between each other, and finally leading to diasporic women’s dual personalities, which can be seen as both the predicament and the survival strategies of those diasporas. That is to say, the flexible and fluid personality or identity is a request for them to survive in foreign countries. It is hoped that the discussion on those protagonists’ survival tactics will shed light on the exploration of the possible strategies to better the diasporas’ living conditions.

Bazhenova E.A., Karpova T.B. CREATIVE STYLISTICS: ONTOLOGY AND DIDACTICS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 2 (220). P. 135-143

Introduction. The contents and linguistic-didactic potential of the new linguistic trend are studied in the article from the viewpoint of functional-stylistics. Aim and objectives – developing the ideas of N. A. Kupina and T. V. Matveeva, the founders of creative stylistics, and extending of its problematic. Material and methods. M. N. Kozhyna, N. A. Kupina, T. V. Matveeva, M. P. Kotyurova and others served as the theoretical material for the article; fragments of texts, which represent the creativity of their authors, served as empirical material. The research uses functional-stylistic and interdisciplinary approaches that analyze speech creativity in its extralinguistic causality. Results and discussion. The article reveals that the rise of creative stylistics as an independent area of speech studies was caused by M. N. Kozhina’s ideas on the differentiation between linguistic and verbal expressions. The links of creative stylistics with a number of disciplines united by anthropocentric paradigm are discussed, that is: resource stylistics, linguistic-pragmatics, discourse theory, etc. The tasks of creative stylistics are specified with the authors taking into account N. A. Kupina’s and T. V. Matveyeva’s conception. In the article the authors present the specificity of creative component in functional varieties of written speech: artistic, media, scientific and official texts. The authors find that creativity relates not only to surface layer but also to the semantic layer of the text, that diversity of manifestation depends on the functional, stylistic and discursive parameters of speech. The authors provide the examples of both productive and non-productive use of creative media in the texts of network literature, media and advertising. The authors point out that creativity in scientific texts is connected with the nature of cognitive activity, that creativity manifests itself through intellectual expressiveness while presenting new knowledge, that the scientist’s individual speech style influences the presentation. In the official sphere, creativity is associated with the emergence of new interactive forms of communication between administration and community and it is found primarily in non-documentary genres. Based on the achievements of creative pedagogics, the objectives and contents of adjacent applied disciplines (didactics, speech culture etc.) are adjusted to the necessity of forming a creative linguistic personality (in demand in the modern society). It is stated that the complex approach to language teaching, including verbal-semantic, cognitive and pragmatic-stylistic components of didactics helps to respond to the challenge. Conclusion. The interpretation of creativity with extralinguistic and discursive factors of communication being taken into account fits in the paradigm of modern speech studies and provides wide opportunities for creative stylistics in the research of the creative component of speech activity in all its diversity.

Authors of this article study the relationship between concentration rate and efficiency of business companies. Structural changes in the Russian manufacturing cause growth of concentration rates. The reasons for that growth are mostly practical and economical. Market results such as prices, costs, profits are affected by concentration rate. Quantitative studies of the Russian industries have indicated that profitability correlates with company size. High profit is based on scale saving effect or monopoly, that is the reason for companies and market share growth. Blagov V.V. COMPOSITION TEXTS FROM THE UNIFIED STATE EXAMINATION FORMAT AS SOURCE BASE FOR THE RESEARCH OF THE AXIOLOGICAL COMPONENT OF THE CONTEMPORARY HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES’ WORLDVIEW. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 3 (168). P. 83-88

The article explains the choice of the empirical material as the cognitive-discursive research of written texts – compositions, which is a component of the Russian Unified State Exam on the Russian language. The key point of the author is that the modeling potential of these speech patterns allows creating an invariant of a high school graduate worldview picture. The modeling direction within the given research gives a reconstruction of the represented in a system of certain frames worldview of the modern high school child in the aspect of the axiological characteristics. The text, reflecting in itself a fragment of the world picture is the richest material for the researcher wishing to analyze not only the originality of the author’s position on this or that question, his or her creative potential, but also a system of the author’s signature style evaluations, and also priorities in a foreshortening of axiological preferences. It is noted that the formation of the high school graduate worldview is carried out in difficult historical and socio-cultural conditions, on the one hand because of the economic and political changes which happened during the last decades in Russia and the world, on the other hand because of the world values shift in the society and, as a result, contradictions in an axiological paradigm of different generations representatives. Kravchenko O.A., Ryasov D.L. THE CHILD-BEASTIN THE CONTEXT OF THE MILITARY SATIRE OF S. MARSHAK («YONG FRITZ, OR EXAM FOR THE “BEASTNESS” CERTIFICATE»). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 3 (215). P. 128-134

Introduction. The article examines the problems of the formation of Soviet children’s literature of the 1920s-1940s using the example of the satirical works of S. Marshak of the war years. The relevance of the research is determined by the development of the problem of «beastness» as a key metaphor for the ideological impact on a person. The content of the article is an analysis of the poetic means of creating the image of hero, the study of its genesis and the specifics of expressive means. The aim is to study the techniques of satirical depiction of a fascist child in the works of Marshak during the Great Patriotic War. Material and methods. The research material is a complex of texts by Marshak about «Young Fritz». The mentioned texts and the question of the genesis of their poetics have not attracted special attention of literary critics until now. Analytical-descriptive, cultural-historical, hermeneutic methods are used. Comparison of texts with video sequences of cartoons and films is based on the methodology of intermedia analysis. Results and discussion. The study of Marshak’s 1941 poem «Young Fritz, or the exam for the “beastness” certificate» shows that the «bad upbringing» clearly demonstrated in the text becomes the main object of the writer’s satire, realized not only in this poem, but also in works of other types of art created on its basis. Traditions of a negative image of a German child in the book of M. Saltykov-Shchedrin “Zarubezhom”, a number of texts by German authors of the second half of the 19th century are noted. Conclusion. The satirical strategy of depicting the enemy chosen by Marshak turns out to be multidirectional: the poet showed how dangerous pedagogical achievements in modeling a person of a certain type are.

Filchenko A.Y. Functional-Pragmatic Perspective on Clause Argument Case-Marking in Eastern Khanty.. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 4 (55). P. 140-147

The paper outlines the types of discourse-pragmatic functions and kinds of propositional-semantic content associated with the Loc-marked Agent constructions in Eastern Khanty. Selected methodology includes contrastive morpho-syntactic and contextual analysis of the narrative corpus, attending to the information structure and linguistic meta-data. Based on discourse analysis, it is hypothesized, that a wide cognitive faculty facilitating the structuring of information and specifying the roles of the participants, governs the choice of grammatical means, i.e. the construction types. It follows from the analysis of pragmatic, semantic and grammatical features of interacting discourse participants that specific system’s grammatical resources identify with certain pragmatic-semantic properties. The Loc-Agent constructions are prototypically used to express the events with more than one argument with competing topicality. The Loc-Agent constructions (agented passive and “ergative”) manifest a parenthetical shift in centrality of the discourse referents, where a secondary topic referent is competing with the primary agentive topic. This is expressed by temporary promotion of the secondary topical referent to the Loc-marked S grammatical relation. N.V. Polyakova. Lekhtenfeld O. INSTANTONS AND CHERN-SIMONS FLOWS IN SIX AND SEVEN DIMENSIONS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 13 (128). P. 103-108

The existence of K-instantons on a cylinder M7 = Rт x K/H over a homogeneous nearly Kahler 6-manifold K/H requires a conformally parallel or a cocalibrated G2-structure on M7. The generalized anti-self-duality onM7 implies a Chern-Simons ow on K/H which runs between instantons on the coset. For K-equivariant connections, the torsionful Yang-Mills equation reduces to a particular quartic dynamics for a Newtonian particle on C. We obtain kink- or bounce-type solutions for generic values of the torsion. When the latter corresponds to the conformally parallel or cocalibrated G2-structure on M7, the dynamics follows from a gradient or hamiltonian ow, respectively, and we encounter Yang-Mills instantons.

Ivanova L.A. NATURAL TIME IN THE IDIOLECT OF THE SIBERIAN OLD-TIMER AS ONE OF THE FORMS OF PHYSICAL TIME. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 2 (191). P. 27-33

The article describes the natural time in the idiolect of the Siberian old-timer as one of the forms of physical time. It presents the results of studying the properties of physical time: length and sequence. The article contains a description of two time models: linear and cyclic. Natural time represents a cyclic time model based on the change of natural phenomena. The article proves that natural time has high significance for the bearer of traditional culture, since it organizes various aspects of peasant life. It describes the annual cycle, which consists of 4 seasons. Annual cycle regulates the everyday life and work activity, a certain place in it is assigned for each type of work. Weather conditions also play an organizing role in the life of a rural resident working on the land, because the success of peasant work depends on the weather. Peasant works, their relevance / irrelevance necessarily correlate with the folk’s calendar, which regulates the life of peasants during the year and reflects the observations of the people over natural changes and weather phenomena. The article shows the influence of the daily cycle on the daily routine of the informant. Agricultural labor depends on the solar cycle: the work traditionally began with the sunrise and ended at sunset. The article also notes the axiological aspect: the dialect language personality negatively assesses the violation of established norms, leading to a change in folk culture.

Barkovskaya N.V. Communication failures and ways to overcome it in the “teenage” stories by Asya Petrova. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2023. Issue 3 (227). P. 128-135

Asya Petrova is a modern St. Petersburg writer who is actively working in the genre of “school” story. Asya Petrova’s stories address an important question: why is it impossible or unsuccessful for a teenager to communicate with peers or adults? A related question: should a teenager distinguish between “own” circle of family / friends and a “wide” social circle of communication and, in accordance with this, choose a type of speech behavior? The choice of Asya Petrova’s works as a material for analysis is due to the fact that in most cases the writer finds for her characters the possibility of a positive resolution of conflicts; the finals of works are open to the future. Particular attention is paid to the story «Who says what – it doesn’t matter», since this work can be recommended to the teacher for a joint discussion with pupils in grades 6 or 7. The purpose of this article is to identify ways to solve the communicative failures of the heroes offered by Asya Petrova. The existential problems of the characters (the desire to “just say” and the feeling of the impossibility of this action) are realized in the same type of conversation situation. These situations mark the stages of plot development. The methodological basis of the study includes, in addition to the traditional system-structural concept of the artistic world of the work and the plot as part of the chronotope, the theory of the subjective organization of the narrative. Based on the concept of the dialogic word M.M. Bakhtin, methods of organizing the speech level are analyzed; in the study of errors and failures of dialogues, the theory of discourse formations of V.I. Tyupa is involved. The features of the genre of “school” story are taken into account. As a result, five stories by Asya Petrova are considered, offering several possible options for establishing communicative contacts between a teenager and people around him. The general invariant is the hero’s overcoming of isolation on himself, the emergence of a desire to help other people. In addition, the author declares the independence of the child’s personal statement, not subject to double communicative standards. The conclusions point to the significance of such a trend in modern teenage literature, which successfully combines psychologism in revealing the characters’ images and the author’s game strategies. The practical significance is seen in drawing attention to an actively writing modern author, who is still outside the attention of researchers in children’s and adolescent literature.

Introduction. The socio-political event of the UK’s exit from the European Union has attracted widespread attention in the mass media since 2016. The article focuses on the metaphorical conceptualization of Brexit in news discourse. Material and methods. The research is based on the news texts on Brexit from the British internet-editions such as The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph and BBC News. The research methods used in the paper are the definitional analysis, componential analysis, complete enumeration method, interpretation analysis, content analysis, metaphorical conceptualization method. Results and discussion. The paper gives a detailed analysis and interpretation of Brexit metaphorical representation from a religious perspective. The religion has always played an essential role in the history of human society. It is considered not only to permeate all the spheres of human activity but also consciousness and subconsciousness. Therefore, journalists implicitly try to influence the values of recipients. The metaphorical submodel BREXIT – RELIGIOUS BELIEF revealed in the paper describes Brexit primarily as a religious belief to add more value for the British society. The metaphorical submodel BREXIT – RELIGIOUS BELIEF is transformed into the submodel BREXIT – CULT with a negative connotation as a pseudo-religious organization. The metaphorical submodel BREXIT – SECT considered in the paper has a destructive nature and it compares B. Johnson and his supporters with the terrorist group Al-Qaeda that is ready to murder and die for its ideology. Conclusion. Productive religious metaphorical submodels interpret Brexit as a negative process. The interpretive potential of conceptual religious metaphor is realized.

Makarova V.A., Astakhova L.G. Inclusive educational environment of the university as a necessary condition for successful socialization of students with disabilities. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 2 (232). P. 54-63

Obtaining higher education is an important stage of human socialization. The aim of universities is to create such an educational environment that will allow all students, regardless of their educational needs and individual capabilities, to successfully solve the tasks of the corresponding stage of socialization. Equal access to education for all students, regardless of their diverse special educational needs and individual capabilities, including students with disabilities and disabilities, is designed to ensure inclusive education. Currently, higher education at Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University is received by persons 17 years and older, among whom there are students with disabilities, gifted students, representatives of different nationalities, cultures, countries and confessions, students from large and small cities of the world, near and remote settlements. All this actualizes the problem of creating an optimal inclusive educational environment at the university. Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University is actively working to create an inclusive educational environment, which is designed to promote the successful socialization of all students studying at the university. Inclusive educational environment is considered by us as a set of resources (means, external and internal conditions) that ensure the realization of the right of every person to education, including training, upbringing and personal development, and is designed on the basis of such principles as safety, saturation, accessibility, etc. The structure of the inclusive educational environment of Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University includes spatial-subject, organizational, technological, informational and social components. Each component has its own content. A special place in this structure is assigned to the Center for Inclusive Education. The Center for Inclusive Education, created at the University and designed to provide horizontal links between departments in matters of inclusive education, helps to eliminate inconsistencies in the actions of departments at the same level of hierarchy, which is generated by the strict hierarchy of the university’s Management model. The creation of an inclusive educational environment of the University is carried out in various directions, among which it is possible to highlight the improvement of the local regulatory framework, material and technical equipment, scientific, informational and personnel support for inclusive education, increasing the architectural accessibility of the university infrastructure facilities for students with disabilities, improving the quality of education received by students with disabilities. Modeling of the inclusive educational environment of the university is carried out by all participants of the educational process: administrative staff, teaching staff and students themselves, with the active participation of public organizations. Systematic monitoring of difficulties encountered by students, including students with disabilities in the process of admission and study at the University, allows you to determine the steps to overcome them.
