| 5708 | Introduction. The author seems it relevant to appeal to the works of Nikolai Filippovich Pavlov, who left a significant impact on the Russian literature of the first half of the XIX century. He, being one of the first, raised the topic of social injustice and inhumanity of public orders. Though, the readers and critics of the 30s of the XIX century highly appreciated Pavlov’s works, the name of the author of the collections “Three Stories” and “New Stories” had become already among the “forgotten” by the end of the century. The scientists of Romanticism still mention N. Pavlov as a writer whose works were of a transitional nature and note his “movement” from romanticism to realism. Aim and objectives. The aim of the article is to analyze the ideological and thematic originality of Pavlov’s story “Scimitar” from the point of view of reflecting the social and cultural realities of Russia of the first third of the XIX century. Material and methods. The author examines Pavlov’s novel “Scimitar” included in the first collection of prose “Three Stories”, which became a triumph in the social and literary life of Russia of the 1830s. The author uses biographical, historical, cultural and comparative methods of research. Results and discussion. In the story “Scimitar” the author creates a true picture of the social relations and mores of the Russian society of the first third of the XIX century: he presents the social hierarchy, a special attitude to the military men and service, and the dueling tradition. The dramatic circumstances in which the main character finds himself reflect the moral and social problem of injustice, army brutality, escalating during the reign of Nicholas I. At the beginning of the story, the main character, undertaking the first steps in life, is full of enthusiasm for the future romantic dreams, which the reality subsequently cruelly destroys. The motif of doom refers to the image of the scimitar. The “bad” omen coming from folk mythology becomes prophetic, while the mother’s gift symbolically results in the hero’s death. Conclusion. In the romantic novel “Scimitar”, Pavlov artistically describes social relations and cultural traditions of the Russia of the first half of the XIX century. The themes of corporal punishment and social injustice in the army, which were topical for the 1830s, are reflected in the realistic literature of the early twentieth century. Keywords: romantic novel, a seqular novel, theme, conflict, social problems | 1774 | |||||
| 5709 | Professionally-oriented foreign language training at a university under modern economic, social and geopolitical terms of society development should provide a high level of graduates’ knowledge, skills and abilities in highly specialized areas that form the basis of training and form their readiness to perform professional communication with foreign colleagues when solving practical, theoretical and research tasks. This training should also promote their further self-development, self-education and professional growth. Thus, learning a foreign language could help to perform two main functions in the young specialist’s professional activity: to be a communication tool (in oral and written form) and to become a means of improving one’s professional level. Taking into account the Federal State Educational Standard, the process of foreign language learning in a technical university is aimed at the formation of communicative competencies – the ability to logically correctly and clearly build oral and written speech, make public speeches, conduct reasoned discussion and at the formation of professional competencies – analyze, summarize and perceive information, write scientific texts in their professional field. Higher school teachers are faced with the task of developing these competencies in conditions of insufficient hours given to humanities and a low level of foreign language knowledge among applicants. In particular, a modular system with a flexible approach to the educational process allows you to create pedagogical conditions for the implementation of goals and objectives at different stages of learning. The work was carried out on the basis of the leading technical university of the country. The pedagogical model was updated: the course content for three stages of training (bachelor’s, master’s, postgraduate) was developed, goals and objectives were defined, methodological support was written, exercise books (paper and digital) for each level of training were published, independent educational and cognitive activities of students were organized. The educational process in universities should create conditions in which the student will see his own growth and achievements, will be able to conduct self-analysis and evaluate the results of his activities. The modular approach provides freedom for both teachers and students in filling individual modules with interesting material, choosing a learning path, space for independent work and creative self-realization. His works were sold in bookstores in Tomsk, Omsk, Barnaul, Irkutsk, and were in many libraries in Siberia. With the appearance of the first Siberian newspapers, reviews and materials about the work and events of the life of the Russian writer were printed on their pages. Most often his name was found on the pages of the «Siberian newspaper». The love story of S. S. Sinegub was known among the populist revolutionaries. She found, in the opinion of the author of the article, its reflection in the development of the love affair of Nezhdanov, Marianna and Solomin (novel «Nov»). The secret editor of the newspaper was F. V. Volkhovsky, a political exile, tried in the socalled «trial of the 193s» in 1877 y. Turgenev was not personally acquainted with Volkhovsky, but actively communicated with G. A. Lopatin, his friend and associate in political activities, and together with him founded the Russian Public Library in Paris. Particular attention in the article is paid to the analysis of materials about Turgenev on the pages of Irkutsk and Tomsk periodicals: these are reprints and comments and articles of central newspapers about the works of Turgenev, their own reviews and reviews of the writer of Siberian writers. | 5730 | When highlighting the concept of “personal activity” as an indicator of professional mobility, which is interpreted as readiness and adaptability to work under changing conditions based on the development of new forms and types of actions, the article describes a conventionally reflexive system of teaching methods of a modern teacher, which guarantees the formation of a teacher’s skills independently compose and evaluate teaching methods in a changing digital educational environment. The features of the proposed system of teaching methods are highlighted using a paradigm approach, taking into account the study of the status of the “teaching method” as a learning goal in the “Modern” educational paradigm. This status of the method in the context of teacher training allows us to indicate two classes of methods: methods of teaching and methods of organizing educational and cognitive activity. The essence of the specification of the methods of each class in the system of teacher training is determined by the property of autologicality (that is, the need to describe oneself). For the considered property, four main signs (characteristics) of manifestation have been established: the presence of an autological goal, fixing cause-and-effect relationships for using the method in a specific methodological system, studying cause-and-effect relationships for using the method when transforming the model of a specific methodological system, formulating a value judgment about the appropriateness of applying method in a certain methodological system or pedagogical situation. Endowing the property of autologicality with the selected characteristics of the content and procedural essence determines the link between knowledge and methods of activity, which is key for professional pedagogical education, allowing to activate professional (functional) literacy, qualitative characteristics of the personality, as well as the positive psychophysical mood of students. These competency components are included in the profile of “ability to understand and act”, considered as the basis of professional mobility. Achieving the didactic completeness of the presented conventional-reflexive system of teaching methods is determined by the formation of the teacher’s ability to independently compose teaching methods and methods for organizing educational and cognitive activities in a digital educational environment. As a means of forming this skill, a “learning-cognitive expert system” is proposed, which contains software support – a generator for disaggregating teaching methods and an expert block filled with methods of conventional role-playing reflection. Within the framework of using the proposed system, the formation of a selected skill can be carried out in three stages. In the paradigm terminology, the “educational-cognitive expert system” is, in fact, an element of the “value setting” of a particular “Modern” paradigm. The metaphysical part of this paradigm is given by the digital educational environment. | 5740 | The author studies the issue of complex word generation based on an integrative speech-thinking model of word production. The model reveals processes of words production on onomasiological, cognitive and word-forming level. The paper presents the results of studying complex words on the material of Novosibirsk city ergonyms with attributive semantics. Ergonyms, being the most actively enriched category of onyms for the recent decades, reflect general trends occurring in the language: use of different structure components in the composition of a complex word; various possibilities of language game: lexical, stylistic and graphic features of neologisms formation. The most significant trend of modern word derivation is agglutinative or analytical nature of compounding process. Special analytical components of a compound word are clipped stems, root affixes, nouns, adjectives, numerals, graphical signs or abbreviations; which can be grouped in different sequences in the compound word. The position of the component expressing the attributive semantics can be initial or final, with the predominance of the initial, that expresses the semantic model “defining component-determined component”. The integrative speech-thinking model of word-production as the basic research method of word production assumes the description of representation structures of different types of knowledge at several levels (onomasiological, cognitive, nominative and derivation) and the choice of corresponding speech forms. When generating a new word the choice of the most essential information occurs at the stage of signifying the predicative form and is realized in the equivalent conventional or non-conventional models of word-production. | 5741 | Introduction. Self-education is for an adult a skill necessary for a full-fledged life in conditions of constant uncertainty. This type of activity is inextricably linked with the subject position, the author’s attitude to his education and life in general. The stage-by-stage formation of subjectness includes the school and university period, the further construction of an individual educational path depends on the formed readiness for self-education, the availability of relevant experience. Support in the development of self-education skills can be obtained in formal education, in non-formal education communities, as well as in educational informational resources. These practices of these types of continuing education constitute the space of adult education that implements the variability of support. The aim of the research is to analyze the resources available in the space of adult education to support the development of self-education skills, as well as deficits in this area. Material and methods. The material was the theoretical sources and practices of teaching self-education and the development of the ability of self-education, interviews with part-time adjuncts of St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Results and discussion. The topic of teaching self-educational activity has been sufficiently studied. In the Soviet period, the methods and techniques of appropriate teaching during the school period were described. Currently, secondary education solves the problem by engaging children in research activities, so it leads to the progress of personalized education development. However, progress on this issue remains unsatisfactory. The preparation of teachers for self-educational activity is problematized, because without such skills, it is impossible to organize the development of students. In organizations of higher education, the revealed underdevelopment of self-educational activity can be compensated by appropriate programs of psychological and pedagogical support. Teachers need special pedagogical skills. In the field of non-formal education, an adult has the opportunity to develop the ability of self-education by joining self-organizing communities when the need arises to renew knowledge. However, the intensity of his life activity often prevents this. The resource of informal education (educational content) is not quite relevant.
