Shafikova I.R. DEVELOPING THE ENGLISH-LANGUAGE COMPETENCY OF THE ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY ACADEMICS WITH REGARD TO THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES IN THE ADVANCED MATERIALS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 10 (187). P. 160-165

The paper deals with the issue of the professional communicative competence that is essential for the engineering specialists and academics to participate in the international scientific conferences. The focus of attention is the rapidly developing field of composite materials and technologies. The author proposes using a multi-level approach to forming the professional English communicative skills in the engineering university, which includes an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) course for academics. The specifics of the approach are illustrated by a case of Russia-UK conferences in the field of advanced materials. The paper presents the analysis of the international scientific collaboration and the excerpts from the survey of the prospective learners at the “Spacerocket composite structures” department at Bauman Moscow State Technological University. The data served as the basis for the needs assessment procedure, which, in turn, was used to formulate the goals and objectives and select the linguistic and functional content for the course. The ESP course had a positive impact on the international research activity of the department, in particular, the increase in the number of post-graduate students participating in the international conferences.

Borchenko I.D., Dudareva O.B. ASSESSMENT OF THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION OF LISTENERS WHEN DEVELOPING ADDITIONAL VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 6 (212). P. 126-133

Introduction. The results of the annual monitoring of the input and final diagnostics of the development of additional professional programs by students are presented. Aim and objectives. The goal is to determine the degree of formation of students’ professional competencies when mastering additional professional programs, as well as to determine the dynamics of changes in the subject position of students regarding their professional competence. Material and methods. The research material was the data obtained from the final diagnosis developed by the Institute of Continuing Professional Education. Identified difficulties in the training of students, as well as interesting dynamics in four sections of the questionnaire are presented: the position of students of the courses regarding their legal competence, psychological and pedagogical competence, professional skills, and the relevance of using the Institute’s information and methodological resources. Results and discussion. An analysis of the data of the conducted input and final diagnostics of the level of training of students in the development of additional professional programs for 2019 revealed the typical and remaining difficulties that students experience. Two categories took part in the survey: “Pedagogical workers” and “Leading workers”. Diagnostic data showed that most students feel the need to develop their professional competence. The need for the development of skills that allow you to build your own professional activities in accordance with the legislation in the field of education remains relevant in the work of both teachers and managers. An important issue is the use by students of psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills in professional activities. Input diagnostic data show a fairly small percentage of students who use psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills, as well as the use of a systematic and natural basis. Another problem remains the awareness of an insufficient level of knowledge of information and communication technologies. Despite the sufficient openness of the institute’s information resources and its presence on the official website, a fairly large percentage of students are not sufficiently familiar with project and information-methodological resources, including those presented on portals and sites located on the official website, since this is not in their circle duties, according to listeners. Conclusion. The remaining difficulties identified will allow us to adjust the work of carrying out operational adjustments to the content and forms of work of the teaching staff with students during the development of additional professional programs, as well as to determine approaches to making effective management decisions aimed at ensuring positive dynamics in the results of the development of additional professional programs by students.

Capozziello S., Luongo O. COSMOGRAPHIC TRANSITION REDSHIFT IN F(R) GRAVITY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 12 (153). P. 39-43

We propose a strategy to infer the transition redshift zda, which characterizes the passage through the universe decelerated to accelerated phases, in the framework f(R) gravities. To this end, we numerically reconstruct f(z), i. e. the corresponding f(R) function re-expressed in terms of the redshift z and we show how to match f(z) with cosmography. In particular, we relate f(z) and its derivatives to the cosmographic coefficients, i. e. H0, q0 and j0 and demonstrate that its corresponding evolution may be framed by means of an effective logarithmic dark energy term ΩX, slightly departing from the case of a pure cosmological constant. Afterwards, we show that our model predicts viable transition redshift constraints, which agree with ΛCDM. To do so, we compute the corresponding zda in terms of cosmographic outcomes and find that zda ≤ 1. Finally, we reproduce an effective f(z) and show that this class of models is fairly well compatible with present-time data. To do so, we get numerical constraints employing Monte Carlo fits with the Union 2.1 supernova survey and with the Hubble measurement data set.

Bogosyan M.V. Principles of Specialized Training Learning in the Modern Education System. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 5 (235). P. 17-24

A solid foundation for comprehensive personal development is specialized training learning, which contributes to the harmonious development of the learner, taking into account his potential, physical and mental health, through differentiation and individualization of education. The idea of specialized training learning is not new, but its relevance remains high in the current time interval. The principles underlying specialized training learning have been explored by both domestic and foreign researchers. The assessment of their relevance in a changing reality, considering the requirements of modern society and the professional environment, forms the basis of this article. In this regard, the interdependence of specialized training learning principles was established in the study, corresponding to the levels of research methodology. Two levels were identified: systemic and intrasystemic principles. A comparative analysis of the content of systemic principles made it possible to determine the list of postulates that continue to form the basis of specialized training learning, namely: the principle of democratization and humanization; the principle of adequacy and prospectiveness; the principle of integration and differentiation; the principle of variability and alternativeness. The study of intrasystemic principles enabled the formation of their structure, highlighting two components: the fundamental postulates on which teaching in heterogeneous classes is based, and the fundamental postulates on which the content of a particular academic discipline is based. The content of these principles is disclosed in the article. The principles underlying teaching in heterogeneous classes are: the principle of social interaction, the principle of acknowledging the diversity of all students. The principles underlying the content of a particular academic discipline are: the principle of aligning the educational content with the level and pace of social, economic, and societal development to achieve the set goals; the principle of accessibility of learning content for its qualitative assimilation, combined with scientific and practice-oriented components; the principle of continuity, which serves as a connecting principle, ensuring the structural integrity of education at all its stages.

This paper is devoted to the conditional model of the spatial organization of the novel which was written by A. M. Remizov and called “The Mere”. In fact the organization of the named novel consists of such locuses as The Yard of Ogorelyhev brothers and The Street. The first locus has pretensions of immensity, but it is limited by the picket fence. The second locus shows the essence of human wickedness. The article deals with the external and the internal aesthetic spaces one at a time. When the external events are over the internal space becomes relevant. Nicolay’s mind is closed under the instigation of the devil. This process leads the main character to the crime and selfdestruction.

Tukhliyev K. BEST MEAN SQUARE APPROXIMATION BY ENTIRE FUNCTIONS AND VALUES OF THE AVERAGE WIDTHS OF SOME FUNCTIONAL CLASSES. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 2 (155). P. 229-231

We solve number of extremal problems on the best mean square approximation of functions defined on the whole line R := (−∞,+∞) by entire functions of exponential type σ > 0 . Calculated exact inequalities between the best approximations of the value of 2 f ∈L (R) and integrals containing special moduli of continuity of the m-th order associated with the operator Steklov introduced in V. A. Abilova and F. V. Abilovoy. For the widths were calculated the exact mean values formulated by G. G. Magaril-Ilyaev for the classes functions ( ) 2 f ∈L r (R) satisfying the condition – generalized modulus of continuity m order derivative ( ) – the arbitrary increasing function Φ(0) = 0. Lukina A.K., Peterson I.R. PROBLEMS IN THE GUARANTEE OF THE EDUCATIONAL EQUALITY OF RURAL AND URBAN CHILDREN. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 1 (166). P. 47-50

The problem of equality of educational opportunities, access to education for different categories of the population is one of the priorities of the Social and Political Studies, both in modern Russia and all over the world. The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyse the main factors influencing equal opportunity in education of rural and urban pupils. Rural schools are not provided enough with the support and resources they need to keep pace with today’s educational demands. Rural schools failed to respond to current developments, changes, and trends in education. The major finding of our investigation was that family played a crucial role in equalizing educational opportunities. Parents could play a compensatory role in ensuring equal education in rural schools. Society and educators tried to ignore the fact that the majority of low performing schools were in rural, economically struggling areas. Most of these schools lacked sufficient equipment and resources to accommodate every pupil effectively. But rural schools have a serious advantage over urban ones – more integral perception of pupils by teachers and less formality in teachers/ pupils communication. Another solution to this problem could be teacher development courses tailoring to the real needs of rural schools or targeted Master’s Programmes in Education.
