| 5901 | Introduction. In the analyzed cycle, L. Goralik actualizes complex problems of modern children’s literature, among which the following can be distinguished: the problem of the relationship of generations (“fathers and children”), the attitude to death, the understanding of one’s own identity, ways of knowing the surrounding world. The purpose of the work is to characterize the system of characters in L. Goralik’s cycle about Venisan. Material and methods. The works of Russian structuralists, folklorists, and mythologists were used in the work. Results and discussion. The cycle about Venisan presents a rather complex and diverse system of characters, among which one can distinguish heroes-helpers, pests, mythological characters. Pests, like assistants, serve the purpose of plot development, helping the main character to go beyond the usual existence. Mythological characters contribute to the development of the inner world of the heroine, i.e. they largely determine the inner plot of the main character’s growing up. Conclusion. The cycle about Venisan can be attributed to the fantasy tradition, however, attention to the complex inner world of a child trying to survive in a terrible world complicates the problems of the work. L. Goralik uses mythological images to create the inner world of a girl who intuitively tries to figure out the ontological problems of life and death, the meaning of her existence. If in fantasy literature for this purpose there were heroes-helpers (sages) who give answers to difficult questions, then Agatha finds herself face to face with a hostile and complex world order in which communication with adults only complicates the situation: adults demand help (mother), make them suffer (father), threaten life (smugglers, “merry men”, etc.).In an unhealthy and hostile atmosphere, children try to come up with their own explanation of what is happening (rumors, scary stories), learn to mimic (invent a secret language). Agatha, unlike most children, develops the ability to intuitively comprehend the truth about the world through mythological images that appear to her in dreams, memories, sensations. | 5902 | One of the priority strategic tasks of the Russian state is to strengthen the country's sovereignty in order to achieve leadership and ensure human mental security. As a result, the key line of development of the higher education system is the renewal of existing master's degree training practices, including for the manifestation and development of human leadership potential. The analysis of the scientific literature in this area of research revealed the problem of insufficient knowledge of the issues of developing the leadership potential of future managerial personnel through the implementation of master's degree programs at a pedagogical university. The purpose of this work is to rethink the essence and possibilities of developing leadership potential in the process of professional training of future managerial personnel in the master's degree program of the Pedagogical University. The following methods are used in the study: phenomenological description, included observation, survey (questionnaire, interview). Based on the analysis, systematization and generalization of the results of scientific research on the topic of the work, the interpretation of the concept of “leadership potential” is clarified in accordance with modern ideas in the field of pedagogical knowledge. It is based on the acmeological principles of human-centricity, open cooperation, interconnection and continuous self-improvement. The basic skills of the leader of an educational organization that are relevant for executives are shown. The main factors preventing the manifestation and development of the leadership potential of the head are given, namely: the lack of minimum uniform indicators for the quality of the head's work, the reluctance of managers to leave the comfort zone, misunderstanding of the purpose, mission in the profession, cultural code, lack of awareness of their identity. The key indicators demonstrating the development of the leadership potential of a modern head of an educational organization, which are taken into account when mastering academic disciplines at a university, are substantiated: high motivational potential of work, willingness to take responsibility for oneself, perform tasks inaccessible to others, a high level of independence of activity, etc. At the same time, the ways of updating the master's degree programs for future management personnel for the development of their leadership potential are proposed, based on the experience of Tomsk State Pedagogical University. | 5908 | Introduction. The results of the annual monitoring of the input and final diagnostics of the development of additional professional programs by students are presented. Aim and objectives. The goal is to determine the degree of formation of students’ professional competencies when mastering additional professional programs, as well as to determine the dynamics of changes in the subject position of students regarding their professional competence. Material and methods. The research material was the data obtained from the final diagnosis developed by the Institute of Continuing Professional Education. Identified difficulties in the training of students, as well as interesting dynamics in four sections of the questionnaire are presented: the position of students of the courses regarding their legal competence, psychological and pedagogical competence, professional skills, and the relevance of using the Institute’s information and methodological resources. Results and discussion. An analysis of the data of the conducted input and final diagnostics of the level of training of students in the development of additional professional programs for 2019 revealed the typical and remaining difficulties that students experience. Two categories took part in the survey: “Pedagogical workers” and “Leading workers”. Diagnostic data showed that most students feel the need to develop their professional competence. The need for the development of skills that allow you to build your own professional activities in accordance with the legislation in the field of education remains relevant in the work of both teachers and managers. An important issue is the use by students of psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills in professional activities. Input diagnostic data show a fairly small percentage of students who use psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills, as well as the use of a systematic and natural basis. Another problem remains the awareness of an insufficient level of knowledge of information and communication technologies. Despite the sufficient openness of the institute’s information resources and its presence on the official website, a fairly large percentage of students are not sufficiently familiar with project and information-methodological resources, including those presented on portals and sites located on the official website, since this is not in their circle duties, according to listeners. Conclusion. The remaining difficulties identified will allow us to adjust the work of carrying out operational adjustments to the content and forms of work of the teaching staff with students during the development of additional professional programs, as well as to determine approaches to making effective management decisions aimed at ensuring positive dynamics in the results of the development of additional professional programs by students. The purpose of the article is to reveal the intrinsic components of this phenomenon and to show the manifestations of humanitarian culture through the formation processes of a person’s spirituality. The author discloses spirituality through the poliparadigmatic approach in science, defines the pedagogical essence of spirituality, considers its formation as a process of self-building and personal growth. The article states that the humanitarian culture of a headmaster is a necessary factor for forming spiritual environment of school. At the same time the personality of headmaster is considered to be capable of spiritual enrichment and self-development and is a carrier of special spirituality and of pedagogical mentality - intelligence. Intelligence, as a quality of the personality, can be developed if spiritual and moral values need self-development, and high humanitarian culture become the inner regulators of a headmaster. The research shows that the pedagogical community imposes high requirements to spiritual and moral personal qualities of a head, such as decency, nobility, conscientiousness, justice, high spirituality and culture. The examples of two innovative schools of the Amur Region (Gymnasium №1 in Tynda and Secondary school №1 in Arkhara) have shown how the humanitarian culture of a headmaster influences the spiritual environment of a school. According to the author, this environment will be as such if upbringing is based on spiritual and moral values, spiritual unity of a school, professional activity of the “spiritual mentors” which are capable to awake souls of their pupils and a headmaster as a well-educated person. The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyse the main factors influencing equal opportunity in education of rural and urban pupils. The major finding of our investigation was that family played a crucial role in equalizing educational opportunities. Society and educators tried to ignore the fact that the majority of low performing schools were in rural, economically struggling areas. Most of these schools lacked sufficient equipment and resources to accommodate every pupil effectively. The purpose of the article is to summarize the pedagogical experience in integrating the situational problem solving method (case method) into the educational process and to identify its advantages and limitations. The study is based on the empirical experience of application of the situational problem solving method (case method) in the educational process at the Faculty of Innovative Technologies of Tomsk State University within the subject “Professional Communication in English”. In the paper, the authors rely on the principles of system-activity and competency-based approaches. The experimental use of the situational problem solving method (case method) in the process of teaching English for professional purposes proved not only the great interest of students in this type of creative work, but also the importance of using this method in the educational process. This method contributes to the development of students’ critical thinking, their ability to apply knowledge in new situations, and the development of students’ creativity and intellectual abilities. Presenting the results of solving cases in a foreign language is an important tool for the formation of communicative competence necessary for students in their future professional activities. However, the situational problem solving method has a number of limitations related mainly to the procedural issues of its application in the educational process. The authors conclude that the integration of the situational problem solving method into the educational process contributes to the development of universal competencies of engineering and IT students and can be applied as a type of pedagogical practice within the subjects of the existing educational programs without introduction of extra special courses for the development of such competencies. | 5948 | This paper is devoted to the conditional model of the spatial organization of the novel which was written by A. M. Remizov and called “The Mere”. In fact the organization of the named novel consists of such locuses as The Yard of Ogorelyhev brothers and The Street. The first locus has pretensions of immensity, but it is limited by the picket fence. The second locus shows the essence of human wickedness. The article deals with the external and the internal aesthetic spaces one at a time. When the external events are over the internal space becomes relevant. | 5949 | The article discusses the features of the evolution of the female images in the novel of B. K. Zaytsev “The House in Passy” and diary essay “The Wayfarer”. This allows to analyze the specificity of creative self-determination of the author during emigration. It is in “The Wayfarer” that the change of anthropological bases of female images in Zaitsev’s prose was first detected. In the novel “The House in Passy” the writer reproduces the characteristic types of emigrants and of indigenous French women. Female image loses its mystical air, mythological allusiveness, philosophical “sophiological” context, present in the early prose of the author. | 5950 | The article is focused on the main historical stages of formation of ideologeme ‘self-government’. The content and functions of ideologeme are very conservative and determined by the peculiarities of culture. It is supposed that the cyclicity of the USA development affects the relevance of the discussed ideologeme. This article presents a try to divide the history of formation of ideologeme into periods that characterize it from the perspective of the dominant semiotic function. The American presidents’ speeches since the 1930s have been analyzed to this end. In different political times the presidents of the USA appeal to certain values. The author comes to the conclusion that the popularity of self–government is indicative of the confrontation of conservative and liberal ideologies. During the history of the USA the ideologeme ‘self–government’ has been developed in involutional way.
