| 6010 | The article focuses on the polifunctional pronoun form gli and its patterns of use in the 16th-century Italian. In Old Italian, as a result of phonetic changes, this form became virtually universal, as it performed various subject, direct object and indirect object functions and co-occurred with other developments of the Lat. ille. In Modern Italian gli has several uses, but they are not stylistically equal: gli as the indirect object masculine singular pronoun is normative, gli as the indirect object plural form is colloquially marked, and gli as the indirect object feminine singular pronoun is regarded as a vulgarism. The 16th century, in a way, was a transition period when certain uses of gli that later became obsolete are only present in comic genres and in the writings by semiliterate authors. Another interesting feature is the growing discrepancy between the dialect of Florence and the codified norm. The reduction of superfluous uses of gli in the 16th-century Italian has not been dealt with specially before. The present piece of research aims at assessing the way the functions of gli were gradually being reduced and differentiated stylistically, which becomes evident when one confronts prose and verse writings belonging to different genres and to authors from different regions of Italy. | 6011 | Introduction. The modern level of convergence of sciences and technologies leads to changes in the content of school subjects and their new synthesis in the educational process. In regional school practice, new interdisciplinary connections and integrated courses are emerging, partially provided with methodological materials. The conditions and results of the development of convergent education in the region should be taken into account when preparing future teachers. The opening of pedagogical quantoriums and technoparks on the basis of higher pedagogical education organizations as a condition for the material and technical support of the educational process contributes to the formation of a broad natural science worldview of students-teachers. The analysis of research in the field of convergent education will allow us to form an idea of a new educational paradigm, to determine ways to transform the process of training a school teacher. Aim and objectives. To study the practices of implementing convergent learning in the general education process, as well as requests for training teachers with new qualities that allow the teacher to introduce these technologies into the educational process. Material and methods. The research methods were: a survey containing questions with a choice of one or multiple answers, and with free answers; grouping of answers; clustering of opinions, judgments and assessments; generalization and analysis. Results and discussion. Based on the conducted research, a rating of specialized education and integrated courses was established in 19 schools. The continuity of integration education between primary and high schools, opportunities and deficits for development has been established. Respondents see the best opportunity to implement convergent education in the implementation of project-based learning. Courses and events are equally evaluated. Conclusion. The conclusions obtained on the basis of the analysis of the research results allow us to assert that there are deficits: experimental activities in existing convergent school courses; carriers of interdisciplinary knowledge; integration of such school subjects as Technology – Robotics, Physics – Biology; equipping with teaching materials. At the same time, the positive trend that has emerged in the region in displaying the convergence of natural and exact sciences in school and university education, revealing the relationship of these sciences with technologies on the example of megaprojects, allows us to assert the possibility of solving problems. The results obtained will enrich future teachers with additional knowledge and universal competencies. | 6012 | In the organisation educational interaction today there are dynamic processes associated with its transformation into a multicultural and multilingual interactive environment, the implementation of the tasks of competence-based learning, updating the bank of technological tools and methods of educational and methodological support. The foregoing determines the steady interest of scientists in the study of educational texts as an independent variety of texts. The main provisions of the history of the study of educational texts as a type of text and scientific object in modern humanities are systematized and summarized. The material of the study was special scientific sources of methodological and linguistic orientation, which form the basis of the modern theory of educational text. The research methodology is the complex use of logical (analysis, synthesis, analogy) and theoretical (generalization, systematization, description) general scientific methods. Based on the specifics shown in relation to the interpretation of the educational text from the standpoint of didactic and linguistic approaches, this type of text is defined as an independent unit – a speech work with multifunctionality and a set of textual features that are updated differently in different situations of educational interaction between the teacher and the student. Among the implemented functions, the key functions are communicative and didactic, and the latter has the status of the dominant one. Text features are characterized by a set of ways, forms and means of presentation at the genre, stylistic and discursive text levels. The reason for the polyphony that exists today in the scientific community regarding the definition of the essential content, structural, pragmatic features of an educational text is the impossibility of an unambiguous interpretation of its genre and stylistic nature, discursive implementation space, as well as the existence of multiple interpretations of the cultural and conceptual resources of texts of the analyzed type. At the present stage of development of the humanities, the educational text is an interesting object of scientific research, comprehended as an independent type of text, which has both general text properties and specific ones. The prospects of the research are related to the further expansion of the understanding of the educational text in accordance with the most relevant areas of research in science, in particular, within the framework of the problems of linguoculturology, discourse studies, linguoconceptology and conceptual didactics. Keywords: theory of educational text, universal and differential features of educational text, educational discourse, educational and scientific sub-style of scientific style, genres of educational texts | 1631 | |||||
| 6013 | The usage of literary code is one of the basic techniques in creating fiction. Turkish writer and Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk in interviews and public speeches has repeatedly pointed out that in the process of working, including during the creation of the novel “Museum of Innocence”, he was in dialogue with the oeuvre of L. N. Tolstoy. Calling the Russian classic “a model of a historical writer”, Pamuk uses artistic techniques inherent in Tolstoy’s prose in his work on a novel about Istanbul life in the mid-1975’s. In the course of a comparative analysis, the interaction of the creative principles of the Turkish writer with the artistic system of the Russian novelist was examined and it was revealed that this connection is of a systemic nature. As the starting point of coding, the authors of the article identified the motive of guilt, which is key for the problematic organization of Pamuk’s work, as Tolstoy’s novel Anna Karenina. Particular attention in the research is paid to the nature of the implementation of the motive of fault in epigraphs to novels, where its plot-forming role is already planned. Next, several aspects of the functioning of the motive of fault in the works in question are revealed: public condemnation, denial of their fault and a desire to shift it to another, self-judgment. Based on the value guidelines shown in the code, Pamuk creates in the “Museum of Innocence” a conflict between the characters’ own fault and the predestination of their actions. In the course of the research, it becomes obvious that the historical conditioning of the fate of the characters in Tolstoy’s novel as understood by Pamuk is transformed into a plot model. As a result, coding as a technique does not just program various levels of the artistic organization of Pamuk’s novel, but determines the logic of the development of the plot and prejudges its ending. The plot-forming motive of guilt in the “Museum of Innocence” under the influence of the Tolstoy code used by the postmodern author develops according to a specific script, going beyond the conditioning of the cultural and historical situation in which the novel takes place. | 6027 | The unit of measure of education quality is entered. Difficulties of introduction of a universal unit of measure are discussed. The option based on an average arithmetic assessment of knowledge of studied disciplines is considered. Sources of the errors arising at such expert assessment are studied. It is shown that the size of an error can be reduced if to use probabilistic approach. It is based on the introduction of functions – mathematical expectation estimation. The mathematical technology of processing of indicators of progress is offered. It is noted that the main problem there is a choice of an expert assessment. An example of objective calculation of an assessment is reviewed. The conclusion that the number of indicators of progress should not exceed three-four is drawn, otherwise errors of measurements increase more, than for 50 %. The problem of choice of indicators for assessment of level of training of the student is formulated. It is shown that the main priorities for the employer are his professional competences, and common cultural pale into insignificance. The conclusion can be drawn on quality of education, later some period after the beginning of work of the graduate of educational institution. It is shown that the state of educational-methodical documentation of the department has little effect on the quality of education. | 6030 | The new concept of the humanities emphasizes breaking down barriers between different disciplines, creating a new system of disciplines and a knowledge system, emphasizing the development of students’ thinking abilities through the transfer of knowledge, and re-establishing the link between “teaching” and “learning”. The goal is to analyze the way of reforming the teaching of foreign literature in the context of the “new concept of the humanities”. The material of the study was the documents of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China on the construction of a “new concept of the humanities”, the relevant research papers of the CNKI of China, as well as examples of the author’s training in teaching “Foreign Literature”. The study uses the literary method of research and the empirical method of research. In this context, the teaching of foreign literature should break down barriers between courses and integrate between courses. Foreign literature in various universities in China is divided into the history of foreign literature, the reading of foreign literature and the theory of foreign literature, but we must combine these courses in teaching. During the teaching of literary history knowledge, we must make students understand the characteristics of the literary language in original literary texts, we must penetrate the literary theory in the study of works, teach students to analyze specific literary texts through literary theory and criticism method, and realize the combination of theory and practice. In teaching foreign literature, we must not only have a global vision, but also have national and family feelings, in order to spread Chinese culture in the international arena and tell Chinese stories well and establish cultural confidence in cultural differences. Russian literature especially contains a deep patriotic spirit, humanitarian spirit, deep cultural heritage and civic consciousness. Through the teaching of this course, we guide students to create patriotism, build the consciousness of citizens and develop a humanitarian spirit. As a result, we will combine knowledge, ability, and a view of value in order to improve the ideological and moral literacy of students. While teaching, we encourage students to actively participate in teaching activities and discussions. Interactive activities between teachers and students can mobilize students’ enthusiasm, stimulate their creativity, provide them with opportunities to use and demonstrate their own abilities, and help them improve their language skills. At the same time, teaching foreign literature can not only impart knowledge, but also cultivate thinking ability and stimulate students’ imagination ability. The use of auxiliary tools such as multimedia, internet, film, boutique course site, can not only expand the scope of the curriculum of literature courses and make the teaching method diversified, but also keep in touch with information technology, digital culture and the network. This teaching method can stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning and form a virtuous learning cycle. Teachers should introduce their research results, research trends, as well as scientific methods in the classroom, constantly enrich and update teaching content, conduct flexible classes, ensure students learn the latest knowledge and cutting edge concepts, at the same time cultivate students’ interests in scientific research, improve the ability of students in research and stimulate the interests of students in research. At present, assessments of foreign literature studies at various universities in China are in writing. This assessment method does not contribute to the development of creative abilities and the improvement of students’ literary assessment and analysis abilities. Therefore, we are trying to use a combination of written tests and oral tests in the assessment of learning to comprehensively improve students’ language skills and cultural literacy. The “new concept of the humanities” is to throw off the unreasonable barriers set by disciplines, not bound by the boundaries of invisible disciplines. The “new concept of the humanities” are the inevitable result of the humanities and social sciences adapting to social development. An integral task of teaching foreign literature is to cultivate outstanding talents who can serve the needs of the country and take responsibility for national revival against the backdrop of the “new concept of the humanities”. | 6031 | High school students should acquire the knowledge and skills comprising the culture-specific language competence at foreign language classes. It is an important component of modern school education aimed at the development of a linguistic personality ready for communication in a multicultural multilingual world. The aim of the research is to develop teaching materials which can be used at classes or as extracurricular activities by English teachers on the basis of the analysis of the culture-specific language competence components and approaches to its development. The material for the developing of theoretical positions was scientific papers on the main directions of this study and educational-methodical manuals used in the process of teaching English in high school. Empirical research material is the book “Alice in Wonderland” by L. Carroll which served the basis for teaching materials elaboration to develop students’ culture-specific language competence. In the course of the research, the methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization and generalization of scientific and methodical literature, modelling English classes and experiential learning are used. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the clarification of content and structure of the culture-specific competence, peculiarities of its development in high school and justification of the cultural and historical epoch context introduction necessity while working with a literary text. The culture-specific language competence is considered as a combination of a theoretical and processual-activity components including target language country realia, corresponding language units, history, culture, traditions and customs and the ability to employ this knowledge in order to bridge the language barrier and communicate effectively. The study of the culture-specific language competence development principles and approaches has resulted in formulating guidelines for foreign language teachers. For example, language and culture acquisition must happen inseparably; it is essential to employ various authentic texts and exercises, cultivate respect for native and foreign cultures, devote enough time to oral speech skills development. The practical value consists in the developed training materials based on the book “Alice in Wonderland” by L. Carroll which can be used by other teachers. | 6032 | Modern kickboxing imposes high demands not only to the technical, physical and tactical training of athletes, but also to their moral, volitional and mental qualities. Nowadays there is a necessity to develop the athletes’ ability to quickly analyse the situation in a competitive fight, to switch from defensive actions to attacking and conversely. This is associated with the formation of appropriate personal qualities (courage, determination, purposefulness, responsibility) and strengthening the educational component in the training process. The aim is to substantiate the experimental methodology of education of courage of young kickboxers, engaged in the school of Olympic reserve, and to reveal its influence on the quality of sports training and education of moral qualities. Analysis of theoretical sources with a description of research on athletes in individual and team, cyclic and acyclic sports (sports training) and research on cadets of the Military Department and the Department of Internal Affairs (professional-applied training), as well as analysis of practical experience of coaches-teachers of kickboxing in sports complex “Start” (Tomsk). The problem of research was stated, consisting in the lack of modern methods of education of courage of kickboxers 11–12 years old, engaged in a sports school of Olympic reserve. The content was also substantiated and the effectiveness of the experimental methodology was experimentally confirmed. The results of its implementation in preparation of kickboxers of the experimental group showed that the changes of effects in all control trials at the end of the experiment were significantly higher and statistically reliable comparing to the results of kickboxers of the control group, which didn’t have any statistical validity. The development of courage of young kickboxers is favourably influenced by increasing the degree of difficulty of performing training exercises, which is realized by means of additional equipment and the introduction of complicating conditions. The results of the pedagogical experiment allow us to conclude that there is a correlation between the rates of courage development and the activity rate of young kickboxers in a competitive fight. | 6033 | The problem of high-quality education for engineering and IT students should be regularly reviewed and kept up-to-date in conditions of the current political and socio-economic situation. To meet the demands of the labor market, engineering and IT students should possess not only subject-specific competencies but also universal (non-subject) competencies that make it easier to navigate different life situations, to communicate effectively, to work in a team, to think critically, etc. Therefore, it becomes important to introduce practice-focused learning technologies and methods into the educational process in order to develop universal competencies. The purpose of the article is to summarize the pedagogical experience in integrating the situational problem solving method (case method) into the educational process and to identify its advantages and limitations. The study is based on the empirical experience of application of the situational problem solving method (case method) in the educational process at the Faculty of Innovative Technologies of Tomsk State University within the subject “Professional Communication in English”. In the paper, the authors rely on the principles of system-activity and competency-based approaches. The experimental use of the situational problem solving method (case method) in the process of teaching English for professional purposes proved not only the great interest of students in this type of creative work, but also the importance of using this method in the educational process. This method contributes to the development of students’ critical thinking, their ability to apply knowledge in new situations, and the development of students’ creativity and intellectual abilities. Presenting the results of solving cases in a foreign language is an important tool for the formation of communicative competence necessary for students in their future professional activities. However, the situational problem solving method has a number of limitations related mainly to the procedural issues of its application in the educational process. The authors conclude that the integration of the situational problem solving method into the educational process contributes to the development of universal competencies of engineering and IT students and can be applied as a type of pedagogical practice within the subjects of the existing educational programs without introduction of extra special courses for the development of such competencies.
