The paper studies artistic peculiarities of G. Gazdanov’s “An Evening with Claire” debut novel. The novel represents a unique frontier phenomenon in the 20th century Russian literary history based on classical and modern literature which came from trends of traditionalism and sometimes crosses the borders of the avant-garde space. Combining classical and modern literary traditions and elements of other arts (music, painting) of the first third of the 20th century in Russia and Europe, G. Gazdanov’s “An Evening with Claire” novel demonstratively showed creative power and potential of the younger generation of Russian émigré writers and established new trends of unique artistic synthesis of Russian and Western literature.

New ideas on wave neuronal processes and only two neuronal constants, H. Berger’s and M.N. Livanov’s ones, which were included into a dozen of simple algebraic equations, permit us to explain interrelationship of many known quantitative regularities in psychology. New equations, which were derived deductively from neurophysiological data, permit to explain quantitatively a lot of psychological phenomena in a broad range of conditions, particularly, the speed of gain of information and the dependence of short-term memory span on the alphabet span of stimuli. The present article reviews the role of opioid receptors and their endogenous and synthetic agonists in the formation of resistance to the action of condition of acute hypoxia. It shows that stimulation of opioid receptors is accompanied by a neuroprotective effect in acute hypoxia. It examines the role of different types of opioid receptors in the implementation of the protective effect of adaptation to hypoxia. The authors analyzed the results on the mechanisms of action of opioids, the role of cAMP, cGMP, nitric oxide, inositol triphosphate, K+- and Ca2+-channels in realization of the effects of agonists of opioid receptors. It discussed opioidergic mechanisms of the reactions that increase the resistance to hypoxia.

The article discusses common approaches in the poetics of the comedies by Alexander Griboyedov and Nikolay Erdman, who innovatively use folklore. Both authors refer to the aphorism as a way to extend the stage space, establish new links between the plot of comedy and reality. Griboyedov for this uses aphorisms created by analogy with the Russian proverb, connecting with the Polish and Georgian realities. Erdman parodies oral “new language” of Soviet times.

Translation is not only a speech act but also an act of cross-cultural communication. Translation is determined by the system and norm at least of two languages and two cultures. Thus, the author’s main attention has been focussed on working out in greater detail the system of skills. The social and pedagogical component of complex rehabilitation motivates chronic patients with violations of the motive sphere to daily occupations with adaptive physical culture. Work therapy as a means of adaptive physical culture can positively influence a social rehabilitations of persons with Parkinson disease. Parkinson’s disease is one of the reasons for invalidization and disability of mature agepersons. The main symptoms of a disease are motive violations and cognitive frustrations. The application of rational work therapy in a complex with pharmacotherapy, a dietotherapy, physiotreatment improves a psycho-functional state, household adaptation and socialization of patients with parkinsonism at late stages of disease.

The relevance of the study is determined by the clear interest of the pedagogues in implementing the main requirements to training the students of higher education institutions. The need for studying the problem of developing cross-cultural competence in the context of higher education is covered. The theoretical aspects of developing cross-cultural competence in view of currently important values and aims of training in higher education system are discussed. The main methodological approaches to developing cross-cultural communication within the framework of professionally-oriented foreign language teaching – system based, activity and competence based, cross-cultural approaches are revealed. Based on the presented approaches the essence and the key concept of “cross-cultural competence” of the students are clarified. The structural components of cross-cultural competence are determined and described in detail. The structure of the cross-cultural competence is comprised of motivational, cognitive, personal and activity, axiological, reflective components. The concept of cross-cultural competence has made it possible to point out and reveal the basic principles of organizing and implementing the process of developing the cross-cultural competence in the framework of professional oriented foreign language teaching such as the principles of humanistic teaching, dialogic communication, learning professionally oriented thesaurus, openness to foreign cultures and ideas, integration into a different culture, critical appraisal of situation in cross-cultural communication. Special attention is paid to the importance of the pedagogical potential of the e-Learning environment in the teaching and learning process, it has been explained that the e-Learning environment has a positive impact on the developing the structural components of cross-cultural competence in training the students in higher education institutions.

The article analyzes the place and role of leisure in the life of the speakers of the Russian language and modern national culture from the standpoint of the linguistic conceptual approach: it examines the structural and informative characteristics and lexical means the of the concept LEISURE expressing, which represents a significant fragment of the worldview for the modern Russian society. Leisure plays an important role in the self-realization of the individual and the regulation of its relationship with the outside world. Leisure is a space for personal improvement. The linguistic-culturological characteristic of the LEISURE concept is emphasized, since the value perception and understanding of leisure by the Russian people is fixed in the language. Proverbs, sayings, aphorisms, which include the lexeme leisure, its wide representation in Russian texts of various genres and styles, the interpretation of the features in dictionaries indicate the extreme importance of this concept in the Russian linguistic culture. Currently in Russia there is a multi-layered leisure space permeating the social being. The following informative components of the concept LEISURE are marked: “rest”, “free space”, “freedom”, “the opportunity to do your favorite hobby”, “soul celebration”, “the chance to show your creative abilities”. The increase in the amount of free time, scientific and technical progress, the national diversity of cultures contributes to the complication of the structure of leisure and the creation of many forms and types of leisure activity. In particular, this article deals with such leisure areas as leisure, organized by means of computer technologies, art and sports. The end of XX - the beginning of the XXI centuries is characterized by the flourishing of consumer culture in Russia and the replenishment of new types of leisure activities. The article substantiates the thesis that the specificity of modern leisure activities is determined by such property of consumer culture as creative consumerism. From this point of view, consumption is viewed as a process of creatively constructing an identity with the help of acquired goods and services. In language, this tendency is realized in the form of using in modern speakers’ speech the newest borrowed words denoting certain forms of leisure (shopping, body art, piercing, tattoo, face art, hand-made hobby, scrapbooking, patchwork, quilling, felting, etc.). In general, the stated problem has broad prospects for scientific research.
