The review addresses the question of long-term partner choice by a woman of childbearing age. Biological component of choice is considered on the one hand, and psychological and social on the other. Through theoretical analysis the criteria for selecting long-term partner are being described. It is also highlighted a number of factors (biological, social, psychological) on which selection criteria depend on. Thus, complexity and ambiguity of the choice of longterm partner in the modern world is designated, where social evolution proceeds faster than biological one and is able to exert considerable infl uence on human behavioural programs.

Patriarch Nikon’s statute-will. The paper is dedicated to the study of patriarch Nikon’s manuscript having been unknown earlier – his last will to the brotherhood of the Resurrection monastery of New-Jerusalem. The work is known in one manuscript copy. The sources are Joseph Volotsky’s last will and two litle-known literary texts of the church literature, which were used in Russian manuscript tradition of the XVII-th century. The analysis of the sources has allowed us to determine the genre of literature as the statute-will of the monastery’s founder; to define the time of literary text’s writing as the first half of 1660s; to show its special place in the cotext of the ancien Russian literature.

This article deals with the automation of activities of Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU). Basic information flows between the automated systems are described, and interfaces of their interactions are analyzed. On the basis of the analysis performed, the main directions of activities for technical services and laboratories on the perfection and complex completion of the University’s information systems are revealed with the purpose of their further integration. High morphological plasticity of this kind promotes vegetative duplication of this kind and increases a structural variety of the central processing UNIT T.europaea, that has allowed to be kept to this ancient kind up to now.

The article is devoted to the characteristic of the development of general education and vocational training in Western Siberia at the second half of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century. Martseva Tatyana Aleksandrovna, Kobenko Yuriy Viktorovich THE QUESTION OF ETYMOLOGY OF LEXICAL UNIT “PARALYMPICS” IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 5 (182). P. 174-177

The article analyses etymology of the lexical unit “Paralympics” in the English language over a period of 1950–2017 years. The analyzed lexical unit initially meant sports competitions for athletes affected by paralysis but since 1950-s its meaning has undergone substantial changes due to the extended program of the Paralympic Games. Currently “Paralympics” does not only mean an athletic event for sportspeople with various disabilities, this lexical item is also used to designate the movement uniting able-bodied and disabled athletes, politicians, journalists, etc. It is directed at creating comfortable and friendly environment for people with impairments, helping them realize their potential, involving them in various not necessarily sports activities. The authors have identified new potential for using the productive prefix para- , which was originally a Greek preposition, to designate Paralympic events and disabled athletes, redefined the meaning of the prefix throughout the evolution of the designator (from the idea of an impairment to revealing impressive abilities of para-athletes sometimes exceeding those of able-bodied sportspeople), provided the data on distribution regulations of using the prefix in modern English language and forecast probable expansion of its intensional meaning conformable to expanding content level of the lexical unit “Paralympics” designator.

Magneto- and meteosensitivity of 31 students have been studied. Significant frequency of magneto- and meteosensitivity (48 %) and their different syndromes - cerebral (40 %), joint (26,6 %), kidney's (13,4 %) and mixed (20 %) has been set. Meteosensitivity was burdenned by large frequency of diseases. Magnetosensitivity in the hypotensive (52 %) and hypertensive (32 %) forms has been detected for 84 % of students. The dependence of meteosensitivity upon the magnetosensitivity hasn't been detected

Forming quality model of personality is introduced in the manner of manyfunction structure, which unites motive-value, cognitive, communication, emotional-willed, creative-activity components. Thats proved that crea¬tive independence of future specialist is united, holistic sys¬tem from its personality and professional qualities, which he shows in the course of professional progress. Thats shown that process of future specialist creative independence forming is the system of specially created educational situa¬tions of independent creative, professional activity: situa¬tions of heuristic searching, independent choice and decid¬ing, creative self-realization.
