In the Yeniseian languages modifying words are distinguished as a single class, in which items display similar functional (they attribute nouns and verbs) and have the same morphological characteristics (they are non-inflected in the attributive function and inflected in the predicative function). The class of modifying words is represented by three big semantic groups: temporal, local and qualitative modifiers. The article will provide a classification of qualitative modifiers in the Yeniseian languages: Ket, Jugh and Kott.

Planning, including lessons’ planning, is an integral and meaningful component of the teacher’s professional methodical training. In the context of the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standards (FSES) in the system of secondary education, the training of future teachers in lessons planning is substantially updated and acquires special significance. Teachers that carry out this training should take into account and critically comprehend both positive innovations and shortcomings in the standards, be able to scientifically interpret them, explain to students the possibilities of minimizing the methodological shortcomings of FSES; know contemporary scientific and practical achievements on problems of planning lessons in a specific subject area; to apply methodically adequate and effective methods of training on planning. This article is devoted to teaching the planning of a foreign language lesson in the context of FSES as a scientific-methodical problem. Some critical remarks concerning FSES are mentioned; the results of methodical studies on the implementation of foreign language education in the context of FSES are summarized, the scientific-methodical problems of teaching the planning of the foreign language lesson in accordance with the requirements of FSES in the framework of methodical training are described, and the tasks of this training on ensuring the quality of training for lesson planning are formulated. Filchenko Andrey Yuryevich Functional-Pragmatic Perspective on Clause Argument Case-Marking in Eastern Khanty. // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 4 (55). P. 140-147

The paper outlines the types of discourse-pragmatic functions and kinds of propositional-semantic content associated with the Loc-marked Agent constructions in Eastern Khanty. Selected methodology includes contrastive morpho-syntactic and contextual analysis of the narrative corpus, attending to the information structure and linguistic meta-data. Based on discourse analysis, it is hypothesized, that a wide cognitive faculty facilitating the structuring of information and specifying the roles of the participants, governs the choice of grammatical means, i.e. the construction types. It follows from the analysis of pragmatic, semantic and grammatical features of interacting discourse participants that specific system’s grammatical resources identify with certain pragmatic-semantic properties. The Loc-Agent constructions are prototypically used to express the events with more than one argument with competing topicality. The Loc-Agent constructions (agented passive and “ergative”) manifest a parenthetical shift in centrality of the discourse referents, where a secondary topic referent is competing with the primary agentive topic. This is expressed by temporary promotion of the secondary topical referent to the Loc-marked S grammatical relation. N.V. Polyakova. The researchers made an attempt to explain the drama through some basic ideas that were considered as the essence of the Russian culture. The analysis of these papers allows to point out and describe one of the characteristic features of this text, «ambivalence», which is also considered to be one of basic elements of a Russian cultural paradigm.

Vlyubchak Margarita Mikhaylovna THE PECULIARITIES OF THE REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPT “FAMILY” IN THE LINGUISTIC CONSCIOUSNESS OF RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH-SPEAKING RESPONDENTS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 10 (151). P. 129-133

The article deals with the peculiarities of the representation of the concept “Family” in lexicographical sources and in linguistic consciousness of Russian and English-speaking respondents. The generality and specificity of family perception and its members in the section of ethno-cultural and gender aspects, based on the analysis of the free associative experiment are examined. It is revealed that the Russian “feminine” linguistic consciousness is different from the “male” one, and that in the Russian associative field adjectives are dominated, while men have reactions expressed generally by nouns. In the men’s associative field the gender stereotypes of social roles are analyzed and the opposite perception of family members in correlation with biological sex and age.

The description of the concept of electronic training by means of technology of avatars is provided in article. Basic elements of this concept are connected with application of virtual reality and possibility of the pupil-teacher interaction in the avatar-avatar or the pupil-avatar formats on the basis of the elements of artificial intelligence. The functions used in this system have to provide full maintenance of training in the discipline chosen by it. Implementation of this concept will allow not to completely replace the main traditional forms of education, but to diversify training elements, and also to make this process highly technological.

The article describes excursus of using of metaphor in pedagogy in the late 20th century – in the early 21st century and its perspectives. The capabilities of metaphor as methodological means for solving some educational problems are in low demand. In this regard the understanding of pedagogical capabilities of metaphor seems to be promising at the level of technologies, methodical steps of their using. The author of the article differentiates the most used terms “pedagogic metaphor” (A. F. Zakirova and others) and “didactic metaphor” (M. A. Akhmetov, Ye. A. Musenova, D. Trunov, A. A. Pligin, V. E. Pugach, E. N. Dzatkovskaya and others) in publications. The functions of metaphor are determined. The article considers the classification of didactic metaphors. It discusses promising directions of using of pedagogic and didactic metaphor. The object of the article is to describe demand and perspectives of using of pedagogic and didactic metaphors in pedagogy.

In this article an attempt is made to correlate an average number of thunderstorm days per annum with an average number of lightning discharges to the ground for each landscape. This is based on comparing visual lightning observations aver¬age multiannual values of thunderstorm activity and the data of a density of lightning discharges to the ground, obtained with a multistation system locating thunderbolts to the ground. The results can be use for estimation of dangerous from thunderstorm in regions without instrumental lightning observations
