Matveyev A. V., Gilbert A. U. Students' Gender Contradictions and Stereotypes in the European part of Russia // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2002. Issue 3 (31). P. 94-98

This article considers the problem of various conflicts, arising out of contradictions, having various psychological origins. The author distinguishes three main groups of such conflicts: the intrapersonal, interpersonal and intergroup ones. Two main strategies applied in the process of conflict solution are analyzed: «the evening-out strategy* and «the provocation strategy ». Both cannot be recognized as flexible enough and universal, since, as з rule, they are based on certain social and psychological prejudices and stereotypes. The experimental part of the research is aimed at discovering gender distinctions in the social and psychological preferences and stereotypes, concerning the notions of masculinity and femininity, characteristic of students of a pedagogical university. The obtained data show that in the examined sample group the ideology of masculinity is presented by more traditional, typical and rigid notions, while the characteristic of femininity differs much, being more polyhedral, differentiated and dynamic. Probably, changes in the feminine gender stereotype agree with the dynamics of the social and economic changes in Russia more than changes in the masculine one. This can be considered as one of the reasons for men to be characterized by a lower level of social adaptation.

The article is devoted to analysis of regulative potential of stylistic figures (anzhabeman, parcelling) in lexical regulative structure of Z. Gippius poetic texts. It was determined that regulative means of anzhabeman and parcelling in the author verses are designated to coupling with title and the other regulative means (tropes and stylistic figures). The analyzed stylistic figures define originality of poetic texts and the main characteristic features of Z. Gippius idiostyle. They are “style firmness”, unemotionality, “categorical tone” of narration. Convergence of stylistic figures as the way of organization of text micro- and macrostructures contributes to making a gnomic style of poetic text and allows varying inflexion outline of work.

The problem of children’s health protection in the Far North has special importance. Last time there is a tendency to use health protection methods in educational process of school. The control of children’s physical condition and health has allowed revealing essential positive changes on the majority of investigated indicators.

The article is dedicated to finding new scientific ideas about the forms of contemporary literature. Noting that instead of differentiating, regulatory paradigm of the genre in the nineteenth – XXI centuries comes looser, synthesizing one, the authors propose to consider non-classical, non-canonical works of the newest forms of literature as author’s models. Such model performs the function of genres, but have a new degree of freedom. New degree of freedom is determined by the authors, firstly, by using the product of the expressive possibilities of different genres of the single ancestral paradigm, and secondly, by the orientation not on the form of the genre but on the well-known plot, motive, the situation of the repertoire of world culture or an event of actual reality. The emergence of legal regulations of working time in the Russian Empire was a result of changes in the socioeconomic relations in society. The adoption of laws on timing of the work reflected the direction of the state policy of Russia towards capitalism. The legislator differentiated approaches the regulations on working time for certain categories of workers and industries, gives the norms formally-defined character and provides them with the measures of state coercion. In all areas, the study found two types of malarial mosquito Anopheles messeae and A. beklemishevi. Is dominant everywhere A. messeae. Scope of A. beklemishevi first documented in the basin. Angara, 500 km to the east than observed to date. By latitudinal trans-sect from west to east in the populations of A. messeae identified two alternative trends: the decline in the diversity of options on the sex chromosome and increase the frequency diversity on both shoulders third autosomes.

The article touches upon the problem of verbal representation of “civilization/barbarism” dichotomy in political discourse. The research aims at exploring conceptual metaphors and metonymies verbalizing the concepts which model the development of civilizations of Great Britain and the USA during the period of the First and the Second world wars. The research is based on P. Buchanan’s “Churchill, Hitler, and the Unnecessary War”. The methods employed include component, definition and conceptual types of analysis, metaphor modelling and critical discourse analysis. Complex analysis consisting of metaphor modelling, conceptual, definition and component types of analysis presents the following results: metaphor models (Civilization as Personality, Civilization as Expansivity, Civilization as Self-control, Barbarism as Degradation) verbalize the concepts of “civilization” and “barbarism” in a certain cultural-historic context. The identification of concomitant metaphors and metonymies (Great Britain as Cow, Great Britain as Great Lady, Great Britain as Debtor, Great Britain as Slattern the USA as Sheriff, Dresden etc.) verifies the data obtained. Moreover, the investigation explores the role of metonymy Great Britain is the USA as motivator for dynamic processes in discourse. The method of critical discourse analysis which considers discourse as a phenomenon constituting social practice establishes connections between discursive practice and historic events.

In the context of educational process organization on studying of Russian as a foreign language in the Chinese audience investigated linguistic potential of game technologies on the example of Russian phraseological units. Justified the inclusion of Chinese students to innovative technologies that extend traditional forms of learning, oriented primarily to the assignment of language samples, not to the formation of communicative competence. Describes the difficulty and identifies the barriers encountered by Chinese students when dealing with phraseological units of the Russian language, selectes the tasks that can be solved through the use of game technologies (highlighting the common and the different in the culture of native speakers in comparison with native culture, the development of interest and self-reliance, the use of visual aids, technical equipment and computer equipment, communicativeness and practicality). Describes the logic of the training sessions and the formation of innovative tasks, the system of the organizing the forms of educational play activities with the inclusion of Russian-speaking students in the Chinese audience. Presents the materials of experimental verification of the use of gaming technology in teaching Russian as a foreign language and their high linguistic and methodological potential contributing to the effective appropriation of the samples of the target language.

The article considers the problem of training chil¬dren with the functionally caused features of organism complicating process of their adaptation in a secon¬dary school. The concept of functionally-weakened chil¬dren (FWC) is put forward. It includes vegetative labil¬ity of an organism, reduced propulsion reactions and general physical capacity for work. The interrelation of the specified parameters is determined on the basis of the system analysis of the complex research results. The conclusion is made about the necessity of differ¬entiated approach to FWC in order to develop the effi¬ciency of their training at school.

The model of processes leading to distribution and competition of different information types is considered. The model takes into account the following processes: 1) competitive interaction; 2) self-competition; 3) self-reproduction; 4) information distribution in phase space due to diffusion. The results of calculations approve qualitative analysis of dynamics of similar systems performed earlier in other works. Also, conditions of domination of one information type on another are obtained in terms of the model. The result was obtained in the framework of the project RFBR no. 11-06-00160.

Today’s school objectives to teach students to learn suppose developing of internal motivation among students. The priority motives of students of juvenile age are as follows: interest in the new; aspiration to fulfill one’s potential; necessity to understand the training material; significance of the studied material for improvement of personal experience. The content of mathematics education plays an important role in the search for the means of internal motivation of training activity. At the same time not only training skills but also ways of cognitive activity should act as the content of education. The unit of the content of education is a teaching text. It is the teaching text that can initiate active motivated intellectual activity of students. But not every teaching text can act as the factor of motivation of training activity. It should be a teaching text based on a psychodactical approach which would allow to identify the types of teaching texts that create the conditions for motivating training activities at its different stages. The study showed that the texts for students of grades 5 to 9, aimed at enriching the various forms of students’ mental experience (cognitive, conceptual, metacognitive, emotional-evaluative), make it possible to motivate students’ training activities at different stages. For example, such types of texts as «text as an encoding of information», «text as motivation», «text as an assessment and choice of features of the concept», «text as establishing links between concepts», «text as a programme», «text as means of self-monitoring», «text as a choice of mode of operation», «text as a choice of cognitive position», etc. guide students in their cognitive activities at the current stage of the development of school mathematical education.

In connection with it, from our point of view, the development of ecological education taking ecological culture into consideration is necessary.
