The article examines the examples of interaction between pictorial arts and literature in Virginia Woolf’s writing. The British writer often used painting language as a source of renewal of fictional inventory. The paper analyzes different cases of intermedial interactions on the level of form (borrowing particular qualities of a genre in combination with peculiarities of composition characteristic of this genre, painting technique and tools) and content (allusions to certain paintings or popular topos, used by artists of different epochs, movements and schools).

The article is devoted to the research of perception of existential potential of the personality and Dostoyevsky's creativity by the Russian religious philosophers of the turn of the XIX–XX centuries. Religious philosophers revealed the mechanism of realization of philosophical potential of existential anthropology of Dostoyevsky in his works of art and an ego-documents. Religious philosophers are concentrated not on detection of compliance of views of Dostoyevsky to a moral and philosophical paradigm of existentialism, and on the search of existential meanings of creativity of the writer and corresponding to them existential in the fundamental principle of ways of a text creation. Representatives of the Russian kosmizm for the first time approached to existential interpretation of the worldview of the writer, both artistic and personal, created under the influence of empirical impressions and esthetic experiences. Ideological fullness of works was understood by them in indissoluble unity with Dostoyevsky's life experience.

This article presents the methods of teaching technology of the development of translators from high-level programming languages. The proposed methods contributes to the development of algorithmic thinking skills. The peculiarity of the considered methods is a consistent study of the main stages of building a compiler such as lexical analysis, syntactic analysis, semantic analysis, reverse polish notation interpreter. The study is based on the example of a specialized educational programming language that contains the minimum set of basic algorithmic structures. The interpreter from this language with the use of algorithms based on finite state machine, recursive descent parser and reverse polish notation was developed.

Bolotnova Nina Sergeyevna STUDY OF MEDIA DISCOURSE OF PUBLIC LANGUAGE PERSONALITY’S INFLUENCE ON COLLECTIVE ADDRESSEE (ON THE EXPERIMENT DATA) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 32-40

The article deals with the topical problem of influence of media texts of public informational and media language personality on mass addressee subject to pragmatically significant factors of text organization: the author, the topic, the title, the emotional tone, the usage of linguistic and non-linguistic means. The study was carried out on the basis of experiments using a scaling technique with the involvement of a focus group of informants-humanitarians aged from 20 to 50 years. The research material is the posts of different subjects in L. Ulitskaya’s blog and the texts of newspaper article and fragments of M. Veller’s program “Just think!” on the radio “Echo of Moscow”. The initial idea was that the text and its structure reflect the peculiarities of the author’s language personality, and informants’ reception and detection of invariant of data, which we obtained on the basis of the survey, allow to reveal regularities in mechanism of influence of the texts and their elements on the reader’s cognitive activity. It was determined that estimation by collective addressee of variety of speech behavior of public language personality in different genres of media discourse depends on clarity, intelligibility, perspicuity, logicality of information, topical character of subject, emotion and usage of language means of different styles. Substandard vocabulary, which is used in media texts of topical subjects, doesn’t rise to rejection if addressee feels the same emotion, but on the contrary enlarges the pragmatics of speech messages. Excessive subjective modality of public language personality in covering different social themes does not always correspond to a collective addressee, who is focused on stereotypes and restraint in relation to the utterance. The influence of media text depends to a large degree on the informational field of the author’s language personality and his emotion, though the subject of speech messages and the choice of certain genres by the public language personality are of great importance too.

Voloshin Denis Vladimirovich PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF PENITENTIARY STAFF IN THE EARLY YEARS OF SOVIET POWER (1917–1924) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 9 (186). P. 141-146

In the article the issues of penitentiary staff training during the first years of the Soviet government are revealed. These issues are of concern for research as one of the underworked topics in native science. The author focuses on the events connected with it, on historical and pedagogical experience, trials and errors of pioneers of Soviet penitentiary staff training system. Chronological boundaries of the article are determined by the major events of Russian history, which were highly influential on the process of professional penitentiary staff training. The lowest boundary begins in October 1917 with inauguration of Bolshevik regime. The highest is connected with the Second Congress of penitentiary affairs officials of the RSFSR held from November to December 1924, after the agreements of which systematic solutions of the issues of Soviet penitentiary staff training became possible since the second half of 1920s. The first agreements of the government during the first years of Bolshevik regime concerning penitentiary personnel policy and shifting penitentiary priorities are revealed. The central place in the article is devoted to the revealing of external and domestic factors undermining the professional penitentiary staff training and having a negative impact on the possibilities of penitentiary personnel policy in that period. The conclusion about the role of the first educational endeavors’ of Soviet government in foundation of the Soviet system of penitentiary staff training is stated.

The importance of Good Governance in the coun¬try's development process was emphasized by the World Bank, which also pointed out four main princi¬ples of Good Governance. In this article, the author focuses at the present conditions of Kazakhstan's Governance and whether it goes along with the prin¬ciples of Good Governance announced by the World Bank. One of the main outcomes of the analysis of Kazakhstan's Governance is the instability of the pub¬lic sector management, in particular, of the bureaucratic apparatus; a quite sufficient financial accountability; and legislation being at the development stage. The decline in quality of mathematical training of the students entering the department “Applied Mathematics and Informatics” has negative effect on the implementation of the requirements put in the standard. Therefore, in order to create the conditions necessary for successful training at the University we need to adjust mathematical training of the first-year students. Problems of improvement of quality of mathematical preparation and adaptation of first-year students are relevant not only in our country, but also abroad. In article the works devoted to this subject are considered. As a solution to this problems the authors of this article offered the organization of the leveling course in mathematics. The analysis of typical mistakes made by the first-year students and also the abilities necessary for studying of the main sections of high school mathematics allowed to define the maintenance of the leveling course. The system of multilevel individual tasks; conscious storing of educational material; work in small groups including cross-checking; various ways of math problem solution with identification of their efficiency; critical thinking techniques were used during the organization and carrying out this course. The efficiency of the developed leveling course was noted by the teachers of mathematical sciences and it was also confirmed by the results of the first session.

It is considered the photon scattering by channeled positron. The process cross-section in reference frame moving with longitudinal positron velocity has been found. The angular distribution of scattered photon has been investigated. It is shown that there are three possible ways of photon scattering with positron transverse energy increasing, decreasing and without of changing positron transverse energy.

The article contains the analysis of means used by American and Russian students to express pre-sequenced advice indirectly. The results of the research with the use of questionaries show that American students use indirect means of expressing pre-sequenced advice more often than Russian students. American students use assertives more often than commissives and expressives, especially at official and inofficial relationships between communicators. In contrast to that, Russian students tend to use expressives amd commisives along with assertives, especially at inofficial relationships.

The direction of the application of nonlinear dynamics methods for semiotic diagnostics of social attractors in modern culture is presented (the result of the RFBR project № 14-06-00440). Inagaki T. SCHWINGER-DYSON ANALYSIS OF 1+2 DIMENSIONAL QED // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 12 (153). P. 100-102

The QED ground state is studied for a four component Dirac fermion with the topological Chern-Simons term in 1+2 dimension. The Lagrangian for a massless Dirac fermion has the parity and the chiral symmetries. Spontaneous breaking of these symmetries can be found by evaluating the vacuum expectation values for fermion and anti-fermion pairs. We introduce approximate vertex functions and calculate the expectation values by solving the Schwinger-Dyson equation. We observe a smaller gauge dependence for the Ball-Chiu vertex function.

This article covers and discusses one of the types of corporality discourses related to the body – that of cosmetological discourse which has not been considered before. Comparison of cosmetological, medical and advertising discourses helped to formulate the basic criteria for identifying cosmetological discourse as an independent phenomenon. In this article, we try to discover and analyze the characteristics of cosmetological discourse and the key concepts of this discourse: beauty, youth and health. This research helps to model the fragment of the discursive worldimage, in the descriptive and value aspects. This discourse was formulated in the cosmetological field of humans’ activities.
