| 5356 | Introduction. The article deals with the vocabulary of the modern journalistic text. The basis for the study are the German-language newspaper articles, which relate to the thematic category “politics”, the content of which reflects the changes in the political life of the country. The method of continuous sampling was the selection of appropriate lexical units from the data sources. The scientific novelty of the research consists in understanding the processes occurring in the word formation of the modern German language. Material and methods. Newspaper lexemes are the object of study. The goal-setting criterion in the work is the word-formation analysis of language material. In this regard, the most productive in modern German language turned out to be such methods of word-formation as word composition and word production. The revealed structural types of composites, a detailed description of their composition occupy a significant place in the work. The frequency components of such vocabulary in modern newspaper political texts are anglicisms. Internal bonding mechanisms influence the formation of the complex structure of composite units. In addition, the authors made an attempt to more or less generalize the semantics of the words that form the composites. The word-formation characteristic of the political newspaper lexicon takes into account the part of speech of the lexical units inherent in some grammatical features. The subject of research in the work, along with complex words, are also derived lexemes. Among them, derivative nouns as well as verbs predominate. Affixes, most of which are suffixes, are frequency ones. The methodological component of this study includes as the main method of component analysis, the method of wordformation models, descriptions. In summing up the results of the study, a quantitative method was used. Conclusion. The results of the study show the dominant position of the compound words revealed in the Germanlanguage political newspaper vocabulary. Borrowings from English are productive. Presented in General, the scientific justification can be used in the course of lexicology of the German language. The data obtained as a result of the study can be used in the preparation of analyses and reviews of trends in the development of modern German word formation. In conclusion, the prospects for further development of issues related to the word-formation specifics of the German-language journalistic vocabulary are outlined. | 5368 | There is the problem of diagnostics of readiness of future mathematics teachers for professional activity in connection with the transition of higher education to the new standards based on the competence, personality-oriented and activity approaches to teaching. The concept of “readiness for professional activity” is associated with the concept of “professional competence”. The analysis of works on the diagnosis of professional competence from the point of view of psychodidactics allows us to identify certain requirements for the diagnosis of readiness of future mathematics teachers for professional activity: diagnostics should be carried out in the form of monitoring, thereby, its developmental function is realized; monitoring involves the use of the means of pedagogical support in case of educational difficulties of the diagnosed, thereby realizing the teaching function of the diagnostics; it should include the means of self-diagnosis, thereby the educational function of diagnostics is being realized. The designing of diagnostic materials for this monitoring was carried out using the example of diagnosing the readiness of future mathematics teachers to learn to solve text problems – one of the important components of mathematical training. Educational texts were developed in accordance with the structure of the problem-solving process, based on the requirements for diagnostics. Texts allow future mathematics teachers to estimate their readiness in the following areas of professional activity: the analysis of learners’ difficulties in solving problems; methodical work at the stage of the task condition analysis; use of various methods for solving text problems; additional work on the task; designing tasks aimed at learning problem-solving; comparison, recognition and construction of teaching texts; the use of historical and methodical experience in problem solving. | 5369 | Since the very beginning of goldmine industry in Siberia its workers were on their own in issues of healthcare, insurance and support of families of the deceased laborers. Changes came in the end of XIX – the beginning of XX century. They became possible because of new imperial legislation. According to new laws, entrepreneurs became responsible for their worker’s health and were obliged to compensate work-related injury or death claims of employees. However, it caused debates among people of industry. They made several projects, concerning the creation of insurance association and the society of mutual insurance for workers. Some projects were quite promising, supposing that accessible health insurance funds would be created even in Siberian taiga. But conferences of gold industry entrepreneurs tended to support the moderate ones. Even the duration of operational season was disputed since it had effect on payments size. However, even these efforts were made without great effect and failed to create a stable insurance system. As seen from the study it was the consequence of entrepreneurs’ effort to share responsibility for insurance with the state institutions and workers themselves. The problem of health insurance was a part of the labour issue, which appeared to be unmanageable. Keywords: history of Siberia, labour issue, insurance, pensions, gold industry | 1783 | |||||

| 5384 | The focus of our attention is on the works of Yu. Ya. Yakovlev, which are in demand in school literary studies, have educational potential, but are insufficiently studied by literary critics. A review of articles devoted to the writer’s stories about the Great Patriotic War allows us to highlight their common features: central are the motif of memory and the technique of retrospection, providing a “link” of two time layers – the 1940s and the present (for the characters); the importance of dialogues of characters of different generations, attention to the inner world of characters. The article explores the theme of memory and the peculiarity of intergenerational dialogue in the works of Yuri Yakovlev of the 1970s, dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. The literary material (“Girls from Vasilievsky Island”, “Memory”) is interpreted based on the structural-semiotic research method. The writer uses a number artistic techniques: retrospection, the juxtaposition of two space-time planes (war and modernity), in the center – a pair of characters “child-adult” or “child-child”, the first represents the post-war generation and is the bearer of knowledge about the war or initiates the acquisition of this knowledge, and the second - having direct experience wars/blockades. Yu. Yakovlev reveals the idea of spiritual kinship, the unbreakable bond of the front-line and post-war generations. In order for the deceased to continue to live in the memory of their spiritual descendants, personal efforts, work and courage are needed to preserve knowledge about the war, loyalty to friendship. The analysis of the stories makes it clear that the writer inherits some features of the “lieutenant’s prose” (laconism of narration, attention to the inner world of the character, reliance on documentalism, a combination of lyricism, psychologism and naturalism). At the same time, there are differences due to the time of the creation of texts – the 1970s. The depiction of the events of the 1940s is mediated by the consciousness and imagination of the characters-children born after the war, which means they cannot be direct witnesses or bearers of military experience. This feature allows you to interpret the stories of Yu. Yakovlev in the context of the concept of “post-memory”, justified by M. Hirsch. Keywords: literature for children, Yu. Yakovlev, the Great Patriotic war, the theme of national memory, recollections, communication of generations | 1782 | |||||

| 5395 | Introduction. The article focuses on the ways scientists express expert evaluation in German academic linguistic reviews. It contributes to the socio-communicative research on evaluation in academic communicative settings. Aim. The aim of the article is to reveal the most frequent strategies of implicit expert evaluation in German linguistic reviews. Material and methods. The materials of the study are 25 reviews published in 2016–2017 in field-specific academic journals: “Zeitschrift für Angewandte Linguistik”, “Zeitschrift für Sprachwissenschaft” and “Zeitschrift für Rezensionen”. Qualitative (contextual semantic, functional pragmatic) and quantitative analysis of the German linguistic reviews provides a set of strategies used to covertly evaluate the papers reviewed. Results and discussion. We consider the expert evaluation as a specific communicative / discursive sub-type of linguistic evaluation marked by modifications of the general logical structure in terms of “subject – object – predicate of evaluation”. Adding the recipient of evaluation we obtain following structure: the subject and the recipient of expert evaluation are scientific discourse actors, the object is represented by formal and content-related aspects of the books reviewed and the predicate of expert evaluation are criteria of scientificity, norms, values and standards of communication shared by all members of the current scientific community. Our data analysis results support our hypothesis and demonstrate that it is possible to make an implicit evaluation of different polarity following the various implication strategies. Beside of well-known strategies used to express evaluation covertly in academic book reviews the article describes also new strategies, not yet mentioned in similar and related works: implicit evaluation through disagreement with the author’s viewpoint, implicit evaluation through recommendation to the review’s recipient and implicit evaluation through (in)direct question. Quantitative measures illustrate different frequencies of negative and positive implicit evaluation and lead to conclusion the explicit evaluation prevail among all types of evaluation whereas the negative implicit evaluation prevail among all tokens of implicit evaluation in our data. | 5396 | Functional literacy is considered as a systemic educational result of basic general education, aimed at socializing the teacher through solving real problems using subject and meta-subject knowledge. The structure of functional literacy is represented by a set of components: reading, natural science, mathematics, financial, critical and creative thinking. The formation of a set of these components requires the design within an educational organization of an appropriate motivating environment, which includes social, cultural, as well as specially organized psychological and pedagogical conditions. Designing a motivating educational environment is the result of the activities of the school's teaching team, which accepts this as a strategic task and solves it through joint efforts. Mathematical literacy is defined as the ability to solve real-world problems through a set of activities: conducting mathematical reasoning, as well as formulating, applying and interpreting. The process of developing mathematical literacy can be carried out in various forms: lesson, workshop, extracurricular and project activities, etc. Each of them has its own specific features. Thus, the lessons provide mastery of specific mathematical content and demonstration of its use to solve life problems. The workshop, which serves as a complement to mathematics lessons, places emphasis on students mastering the method of mathematical modeling, for which various methods of presenting data are used: text, graphic, tabular, photo, drawing, etc. Also, when conducting a workshop, there are more opportunities to combine individual, group and collective form of work. Extracurricular activities, which are characterized by a wide range of different forms of learning, can also be productively used in the process of developing mathematical skills. Depending on age, this could be a club, an elective, etc. Another variant of the model for the formation of mathematical literacy is educational design, when students independently solve a certain problem using a set of subject knowledge under the guidance of a teacher. Project work can be carried out either individually or in a group, including students of the same age and of different ages. Project activities allow you to build productive communication between students and develop teamwork skills. Project activities allow you to organize various interdisciplinary projects where different types of functional literacy are combined. There is this transect along Wysko ditch. pH and pseudo first-order reaction constants were measured. Peat-moorsh soils were described and classified according to Polish hydrogenic soil classification and World Reference Base Soil Notation. There are four investigated points along to Wyskoc ditch. Two times a month during entire vegetation season the following material was taken from this four chosen site – samples of peat, from the depth of 0–20 cm. The rates of the reaction were calculated from the kinetics of first order reaction model. All experiments were repeated at different pH 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 8.0, 8.5 of 0.5 M ammonium acetate buffer solution. The rates of organic matter elution for all samples of peats were significant different at four used wavelengths » = 272 nm, » = 320 nm, » = 465 nm, and » = 665 nm. It was observed that the rates increased between » = 272 nm and » = 320 nm and decreased from » = 465 nm to » = 665 nm.
