Polyakova N.V. VERBS OF INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT ON A FIRM SURFACE IN THE SELKUP LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 96-99

The verbs denoting independent movement on a firm surface in the Taz, central and southern dialects of the Selkup language are considered. In the dialects of the Selkup language the lexico-semantic group of verbs of motion is represented by a significant amount of the verbs describing various ways of the movement, its nature, general orientation against the speaker, conditions in which this movement occurs, etc. There is a relatively little number of polysemantic verbs among the verbs of movement in the dialects of the Selkup language and the number of meanings of verbs is insignificant as well. Most Selkup verbs of motion (60 %) are monosemantic, about 60 % of meanings do not repeat, i.e. they are peculiar to one verb of motion. In the Selkup lexico-semantic group of verbs of motion the synonymic relations are poorly developed in comparison with Russian in spite of the fact that among the verbs of motion in the Selkup language the synonymy is more developed than in other lexico-semantic groups of the studied language. The verb qənqo is the central element of the lexico-semantic group of verbs of motion in the Taz dialect of the Selkup language. The semantics of this verb does not include the description of conditions in which the movement occurs, its direction, way and mode. The verbs čāǯįgu and kwangu are the central elements of the lexico-semantic group of verbs of motion in the southern and central dialects of the Selkup language. Description of the general direction of the movement (making nearer or farther) and orientation in space is the most essential thing for the Selkup verbs of motion. There are several specifics of the lexico-semantic group of verbs of motion in the dialects of the Selkup language: existence of the space-oriented verbs; the verbs denoting movements in space made by means of certain devices / vehicles; almost full incompatibility of the verbs of motion with the abstract nouns and nouns denoting objects, incapable of the independent movement. The movement and the ability to the movement is a marker of animateness, on the basis of this marker representatives of the Selkup ethnos differentiate animated and inanimate, i.e. alive and dead. Everything that moves is animated.

Dobrovolskaya T.G., Golovchenko A.V., Semenova T.A., Kukharenko O.S., Inisheva L.I. The influence of aeration on the structure of microbial complexes in fens // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2011. Issue 5 (107). P. 117-125

Microbial communities in virgin and reclaimed fens of Tomsk region were examined in the comparative study. Differences between these peat lands could be found only for a dry season. A number of fungi, evaluated with the plating method, and a share of hydrolytic bacteria were considerably higher in the reclaimed fen. It indicates to the intensification of destruction due to the implemented agricultural afforestation. The differences between fens smooth after long-term rains: fungal and actinomycetal mycelium is fragmentary found in soil layers, number and specific diversity of micromycetes decrease, hydrobionts dominate among bacteria. Thus, though examined fens are hydromorphic soils, weather conditions should be taken into account for soil sampling, because all the microbiologic indicators, which allow characterizing microbial communities of peat soils, sharply vary under the change of dry and moist periods.

It was studied effect of activation of M-opioid receptor (OR) on the tolerance of isolated perfused rat heart to global 45 min ischemia and 30 min reperfusion. In vivo pretpeatment with selective M-opioid receptor agonist DAMGO (0,1mg/kg intravenously) increased tolerance of isolated perfused rat heart to ischemia and reperfusion. This effect was completely abolished by pretreatment with the M-antagonist CTAP. Addition of DAMGO and DALDA to the perfusion solution in a final concentration of 170 nМ before ischemia had no cardioprotective effect. However, addition of DALDA to the perfusion solution in a final concentration of 33 nM also decreased creatine kinase levels in the coronary sinus effluent.

Konchakova N.V., Medvedev I.I. PECULIARITIES OF TEACHING DISCIPLINE “GEODESY” TO FOREIGN STUDENTS IN RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 5 (182). P. 168-173

The article is devoted to development of a technique of training of foreign students in the Russian technical higher educational institution. The linguistic barrier is a basic reason which interferes with effective development of technical disciplines. The feature of technical disciplines is a large number of special terms and processes and the phenomena which can be described only by difficult technical formulations. The idea of this article is to search for methods to reduce the impact of the language barrier in the teaching of foreign students to Russian as a foreign language. The initial stage of training should be aimed at preparing students for training in the Russian-speaking environment. Preuniversity preparation became such a stage. Here students reach only elementary level. They are able to establish and maintain social contacts in standard situations of the daily life; they have a minimum of linguistic means, the vocabulary of such students can reach not less than a thousand of lexical units. After that the student passes to studying of special disciplines. The first step is training of the student for perception of special terminology. For this purpose foreign students were offered to study the bilingual glossary. The bilingual glossary included an interpretation of concepts in the Russian and the English languages. The reason of the choice of English is that it is an international language, in many countries it is the second official, most of electronic translators are adjusted to translate into English. The second step is the use of methods of visualization for the best perception of information. Illustrations (drawings, maps, schemes) and demonstrations (demonstration and studying of the device of special geodetic devices) were chosen as objects of visualization. The combination of these two acceptances in training of foreign students allowed to increase the level of knowledge of technical discipline considerably.

Maroshi V.V. «The Mongolian Myth» in the Russian Literature of the XX* Century // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2003. Issue 1 (33). P. 48-54

The author is examining the literary material starting from the poem «Panmongolism» byV. Solovjevuptothe novel «Chapaev and the Emptiness» by V. Pelevin. In the eschatological variant of the myth the author discov¬ers the motives of the invasion of the Mongolian multi¬tudes into Russia as a part of Europe and their participa¬tion in the apocalyptical Christian plot. In another variant of the myth which is closer to the literature plot the hero is either escaping, or traveling, or is made to go to Mon¬golia, and Mongolia turns out to be either the domain of death, or the hero perishes or changes his status being subjected to the initiation. The Mongolian myth is widen¬ing to the Pan Mongolian one and in this way is being built into the Asian myth of Russia.

Butenko E.V. PAREMIOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATIONS IN FILM TRANSLATION (BASED ON THE RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 3 (215). P. 102-109

Introduction. The linguistic research analyzes paremiological transformations in the film text and stud-ies the possibilities of their equivalent translation in the host culture. The relevance of the study is due to the wide use of proverbial units in the artistic language and namely in film discourse. Embedded in the matrix of the film dialogue, they become a basis for subsequent transformations in characters’ speech, creating a significant expressive potential because of their occasional character. Aim and objectives. Since the recognition of the original proverb in the modified version is the proof of an effective transformation, the aim of the study is to identify the linguistic means that contribute to recognition, decoding and adequate perception of the transform in the language of the host culture. Material and methods. The research is based on the proverbial transforms in the characters’ utterances of the animated film “The Lion King. Hakuna Matata”. Being of a theoretical-empirical nature, the lingua-stylistic study required the use of the structural and descriptive methods, which made it possible to pinpoint certain linguistic regularities of paremiological transformations. Results and discussion. The analyzed author’s transform is actually an epigram – an anaphoristic statement, concise and instructive. It reproduces the typical features of a proverb: didacticity, transfig-uration, implication. Renewing the traditional form of the paremiological unit, the epigram retains the semantic-stylistic identity with the precedent text. Alongside the semantic identity with the proverbial prototype, the transform also demonstrates the syntactic similarity, while seamlessly integrating into the context of the dialogue. The stated manifestations of the transformation process are explicable, since the transform is created according to proverbial algorithms, which ensure its correlation with the original proverb. The implicit mutuality predetermines and limits, to a certan extent, the variability of the lexical content and the syn-tactic pattern of a transform. This deductive reasoning can be a scientific contribution to the lingua-stylistic research in the sphere of paremiological transformation. It works efficiently in the artistic lan-guage, where, ensuring an adequate perception, the logical framework of a traditional proverb pro-duces derivatives, various and expressive in form. The lingua-stylistic research explores the game art resources of polysemy used in the transformation unit, and analyzes the exploited possibilities of translating a pun. The introduction of a modified proverbial unit — an epigram, for example – into the structure of a film dialogue is viewed as a stylistic citation technique, the functional value of which is confirmed by the appropriateness of its use in a certain situation of communication. The status of an intertextual unit, acquired by a transform in a character’s utterance, endows it with special significance and promotes the emergence of directed associations, serves as a means of strengthening argumentation and assess-ment. Conclusion. The transformation of paremias is the outcome of an artistically processed precedent text, where the structural and semantic fixity is revived by an expression, identical in content, but peculiar in form. Thus modified paremias are not perceived as lifeless folklore cliches, but real live compo-nents of speech use. Since brevity is one of the main components in the concept of «a proverb», its derivative is also char-acterized by semantic capacity and syntactic conciseness. Such models contribute to the creation of language compression required in subtitling, the most popular kind of film translation. This factor con-firms both the practical significance of the study and its relevance for the film industry.

Ferrer E.Z., Insera V. Photons and fermions in spacetime with a compactified spatial dimension // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2004. Issue 7 (44). P. 88-94

The effects of a nonsimpiy connected spacetime with the topology of S1 x R3 in the vacua of QED and gauged-NJL theories are investigated. It is shown that the polarization effects of twisted and untwisted fermions in QED are equivalent, once the corresponding stable vacuum solution of each fermion class is taken into account. The photon propagation in QED is found to be anisotropic and characterized by several massive photon modes and a superluminal transverse mode. At small compactification radius the masses of the massive modes increase as the inverse of the radius, while the massless photon mode has a superluminal velocity that increases logarithmically with that distance. At low energies the photon masses lead to an effective confinement of the gauge fields into a (2+i)-dimensional manifold transverse to the compactified direction. In the gauged-NJL model, it is shown that for both twisted and untwisted fermions, the smaller the compactification radius, the larger the critical four-fermion coupling needed to generate a fermion-antifermion chiral symmetry breaking condensate.

The article deals with the structure of a polycode text, which is a complex formation of semiotically heterogeneous components that are inextricably linked to each other. The peculiarities of their relationship make an urgent problem in modern linguistics due to the absence of a unified classification of sign systems represented in the text. In the articles published on the internet portal “THE ONION” verbal text is combined with iconic information blocks – photo and video materials, whose interaction leads to the formation of new meanings. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the existing types of components correlation are thoroughly investigated and classified on the above stated material. As a result of the research three main types of correlation of iconic and verbal components are identified and their ratio is presented in the text of the article as a bar chart. Duplicating (split into partial repetition and complete repetition) and complimentary types of correlation are considered to be the most common that can be explained by the peculiarities of news texts: the iconic component usually repeats or backs up the verbal information block. The third type of their correlation demonstrates close integration of the verbal and iconic components whose relationship can be of two types – relations of correspondence and relations of opposition. The research proves that in the polycode news text the verbal component plays the leading role, while the iconic component serves as a visual aid.

Kuryanovich A.V. METHODS FOR SUPPLYING RUSSIAN AND CHINESE YOUTH JARGON: COGNITIVE MECHANISMS OF DEPENDENCE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 4 (210). P. 54-62

Introduction. In the 21st century, all the languages of the world undergo radical changes in its lexical composition. Due to the need to nominate new concepts, phenomena and objects in the process of cognition and development of a constantly changing world, the lexical fund of languages is enriched by the emergence of new vocabulary, among which there are a lot of slang words. Youth jargon is an interesting language phenomenon both in Russian and in Chinese, which is developing almost simultaneously in two completely different language systems and linguistic cultures. Material and methods. The author analyzes the ways of replenishing the lexical fund of Russian and Chinese youth slang in a comparative aspect, taking into account the factor of cognitive mechanisms dependence of meaning generation within the framework of the slang fragment of the national world picture. The study is carried out on the basis of the material of the author’s dictionary files, as well as data from lexicographic sources based on the methodology of contextual, contrastive-comparative analysis, as well as word-formation modeling. Results and discussion. The most productive ways of enriching the corpus of youth vocabulary in both languages are revealed. This is metaphorization, affixation, foreign borrowing. At the same time, unlike Russian youth jargon, in the Chinese language, such methods as abbreviation and homophony reveal a greater specific gravity and linguocultural specifics in the formation of new slang units. The Chinese youth sociolect also reveals specifics when adapting foreign borrowings. These differences are due to the typological features of the Chinese language and the originality of the linguistic picture of the world of modern Chinese youth. Conclusion. The results obtained in the course of the study allow us to talk about the combined action within the framework of the slang subsystems of the Russian and Chinese languages as universal trends in the field of word production, and ways specific to each language to implement these trends. Ways to replenish youth jargon in a particular linguistic culture are determined by the conceptual content of its corresponding fragment.
