Khatyamova M.A. MYTHOLOGEME OF AME SLAVE IN LITERARY WORKS OF THE FIRST WAVE OF RUSSIAN EMIGRATION: SPACIAL ASPECT // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 11 (188). P. 236-243

The article analyses a topological aspectof ambivalent functioning of ame slave mythologeme in journalism and artistic prose of authors pertaining to different generations of the first wave of the Russian emigration (N. Teffi, I. Ehrenburg, G. Adamovich, A. Kuprin, N. Berberova). An ironic modus of ame slave (being a variant of a Western representation of the Other) in the works of émigré writers does not negate semantic significance of a cultural code conceptualizing a problem of a person’s self-identification in the alien cultural space. Those having the mysterious Slavic soul had different attitudes to attempts of external definition of their mentality. There is a wide range of impressions, from a serious and unconditional acceptance as a given fact (demonstrated by I. S. Shmelyov) to an ironic play upon a meaningless cliché of a mass consciousness (N. Lossky, I. Ehrenburg). Teffi devoted almost all of her writings of the émigré period to parody-like incomprehension of the Western world and mentality on behalf of the ame slave. Her story of the same name (L’ame slave, 1927) contains two tales of excessive Russian trust and marvelous capacity for self-deceit. A somewhat more complex embodiment of the mysterious Slavic soul one may find in the works of Aleksandr Kuprin (The Wheel of Time and Jeannette) and Nina Berberova (Roquenval and Astashev in Paris) where the authors use it to explore issues of émigré existence and national identity.

Keywords: Russian émigré literature, younger Russian émigré prose, works of Nina Berberova, problem of selfdefinition

Gelfman E.G., Kholodnaya M.A., Podstrigich A.G. TYPOLOGY OF DEVELOPING EDUCATIONAL TEXTS (A STUDY OF SCHOOL MATHEMATICS) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 3 (200). P. 27-34

Introduction. The content of school subjects is the most important factor in the intellectual development of students. Accordingly, the question arises about the requirements for a modern textbook in the framework of the psychodidactic approach. The aim of the article is to develop a typology of developing educational texts aimed at enriching various forms of mental experience of students. Material and methods. The study was based on the analysis of the psychological characteristics of the intellectual education of students in the framework of the psychodidactic approach, based on the psychological and pedagogical substantiation of the polyfunctionality of modern educational mathematics materials. Results and discussion. The concept of developing educational text is introduced. The specificity of developing educational texts lies in the fact that they, being a projection of the structure of scientific mathematical knowledge, at the same time, firstly, ensure the formation of the main components of a student’s mental experience (including cognitive, conceptual, metacognitive and intentional experience) and, secondly, create conditions for the manifestation and formation of individual cognitive styles of students. Such an educational text should be built as some multidimensional semantic space (hypertext), its structure, along with its “core” (certain subject information), includes context and subtext. The typology of developing educational texts (the study of school mathematics) developed on the basis of the ontological theory of intelligence is presented. Examples of educational texts of different types in the course of mathematics of the basic school are given. Conclusion. The implementation of a complex of developing educational texts creates conditions for increasing the level of understanding of educational mathematical material and the growth of intellectual resources of students by enriching the main components of their mental (mental) experience – cognitive, conceptual, metacognitive, intentional (emotional-evaluative).

Keywords: learning, school mathematics, psychodidactics, developing educational text, mental (cognitive, conceptual, metacognitive, intentional) experience, intellectual development

Shutova A.V. CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS OF A LITERARY TEXT AS A BASIS FOR SHAPING A STUDENT’S TEXTUAL COMPETENCE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 11 (188). P. 41-45

The main idea of the article is a statement that mastering the basics of conceptual analysis by high-school students enables them to acquire textual competence. Nowadays, there is no standard definition of the term ‘concept’; there are several methods of conceptual analysis. A concept is something versatile. In various fields of studies, researchers draw special attention to one or another aspect of the concept. The article presents a review of some methods of carrying-out a conceptual analysis of a text and of a word generally accepted both in cognitive linguistics and cognitive poetics and in the Russian language teaching methods. The author proposes an improved version of conceptual analysis worked out in accordance with communicative stylistics of the text. This version is adapted to the practical issues of shaping text competences of students at school. This method is illustrated by the example of the concept ‘death’ verbalized in the poem of O. E. Mandelstam. Such kind of work should be given as part of an elective course taking into account that this kind of activity is not included in the curriculum. The course of work is controlled by the teacher because the students need a teacher to explain scientific terms to them, as well as to help them with step-by-step performance of the exercise. It is important to use diverse dictionaries (definition dictionaries, etymological dictionaries, dictionaries of synonyms, of antonyms and others). The goal at this stage is to find necessary dictionary entries and to analyze them to discover coincidences / distinctions in semantics and actual meaning of the key units that actualize the principal attributes of the concept and are reflected in the vocabulary and in the poem of the poet. Equally important is the final stage of the work which is to generalize and to formulate the author’s own opinion on the content of the concept. The article may be interesting for the students of pedagogical universities and the Russian language teachers.

Polyakova N.V. OBJECTIVATION OF WAYS OF WORLDLY SPACE STRUCTURING IN THE SELKUP AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 3 (180). P. 47-50

Each ethnos has its own ideas of the world and the system of worldly space structuring that allows orienting in space. The idea of the three-part structure of the world including the Upper, Middle and Lower Worlds is common for many nations as well as the idea of existence of vertical and horizontal projections of the universe. In mythology the Upper World is connected with the highest gods. It is located over people. The Middle World is the place inhabited by people and animals. The Lower World is associated with the world of evil spirits and the dead. It is located under the ground or water. Ethnographic and linguistic material demonstrates coexistence of vertical and horizontal world projections in the Selkup worldview and presence of only the vertical world projection in the Russian one. The Middle World being according to the ancient beliefs the world for people and animals is the most significantly objectivized both in the Selkup and the Russian languages. The analysis of linguistic and ethnographic material allowed revealing essential differences in the Selkup and Russian ways of worldly space structuring. The circular type of space structuring is typical for the Russian ethnos as the representative of the farming culture. There is the house and householding buildings on the fenced territory in the center of the Russian worldly space, the next concentric circle includes the settlement, the second concentric circle consists of the fields and pastures having an important economic value, the third concentric circle includes forest grounds, the fourth is represented by the distant spaces. People feel the most familiar with the next and the second concentric circles and less familiar with the third and fourth concentric circles. The representatives of the Selkup ethnos orient in surrounding space relying on focal points by specification of their arrangement relative to each other. The focal points are a river, a forest and a house.
