| 4901 | The Gogol’s story “Nevsky Prospekt”, repeatedly becoming a subject of reflection for two centuries, is of interest to researchers for its multifacetedness and inexhaustible possibilities for interpretation. The author’s aim is the systematization of the story’s verbal lexicon into lexico-semantic groups and the demonstration of typological and mental differences of the characters. These differences were the subject of scientist’s reflection, however, in our view, they are not only in the ideological and semantic levels of the work, but, first of all, in the linguistic level. The author does not analyze the entire verbal lexicon, but only those verbs that are directly related to the description of the main characters - Piskarev and Pirogov. We rely on the definition of Z. D. Popova and I. A. Sternin who believe that “lexico-semantic group is a large group of words of one part of speech united by a single word-an identifier or a stable phrase-combination, whose meaning is fully included in the meaning of the remaining words of the group and which can replace the remaining words in certain contexts” [7, р. 95]. We also rely on the verbal lexicon classification, proposed in the dictionary edited by T. V. Matveyeva, considering this classification the most complete. The most frequent are the lexico-semantic groups of the following verbs: Pirogov – displacement in space (15), speech message (10), thinking (4), utterance (4), perception (6), penetration (4); Piskarev – displacement in space (40), perception (16), utterance (5), thinking (4). In addition, there are unique lexical and semantic groups for each hero. The total number of verbal lexicon in the case of Piskarev is much larger than in the case of Pirogov. That’s why Piskarev is not just a naive dreamer, but an actor who is trying to transform the surrounding reality. As a true romantic, he produces a modified (idealized) reality in his works, then – dreams, and finally he perishes, failing in the transformation of the real life and consciousness of the beauty girl. | 4902 | An important task of domestic pedagogy is the search for technologies that allow the development of a personality not only in the cognitive, but also the motivational-usual and emotional-volitional spheres. It is proved that, depending on the type of virtual reality (VR) as a special teaching method, it is required to revise the role of the teacher and the conditions of interaction between the teacher and the students in order to master the latter educational content. A review of domestic and foreign experience in applying virtual reality technologies in educational practice is presented. By the means of historical and pedagogical analysis, it has been proved that to date in the scientific literature there are no longitudinal studies that allow us to assess the influence of forced cognitive development on the harmonization of the personal development of children and the intensive development of the school curriculum, especially in preschool and primary school age. The article reveals the concept of an immersive educational environment, its influence on the development of the personality of the student at various levels of general education is noted. The thesis is justified that virtual reality as an educational technology and a special educational environment can be programmed and reproduced using a computer program and stimulate schoolchildren to perform certain educational actions according to a pre-planned scenario. Based on the analysis of the experience of teaching children in immersive environments, the authors note the possibilities of their application for the cognitive development of the personality of schoolchildren at various levels of education. The ideas of teachers of the primary and basic school on the developmental capabilities of VR are described. The advantages of the application in the educational process of such immersive technologies as virtual excursions, virtual quests and virtual laboratories are disclosed. Conclusions have been drawn about the possibilities and restrictions of cognitive development of the student’s personality in immersive educational environments. It has been proven that in virtual immersive environments can be successfully applied to teaching and developing children of different ages. The virtues of the use of VR in training, such as visualization, the possibility of visualizing complex processes and phenomena, interactivity and the possibility of gaming the educational process, etc. Establish various types of VR with rich capabilities in various fields of personality development. | 4912 | Northern (Arctic) Federal University Named After M. Lomonosov, Arkhangelsk The article traces the limiting impact of zinc and copper in the soil-plant system, gives the scientific rationale and develops a regional system of environmental regulation of the content of heavy metals in soils of Arkhangelsk. Key points of comparison are concentrations of heavy metals in the soil, leading to a decrease in their accumulation (translocation) in plants, excess tissue in their maximum allowable concentrations and maximum allowable level, as well as the effect of the average soil phytotoxicity test applied to test-object (watercress). Critical level of these metals in the plant is achieved with a soil content of mobile forms of zinc at 5.0–13.0 mg / kg, copper – 2.0 mg / kg. This is below the maximum allowable concentration of mobile forms of heavy metals in soils of 1.5–1.8 times. Observes the decrease in the accumulation of zinc aerial parts of plants when the content in the soils of 45–50 mg / kg, copper – 4.2–5.2 mg / kg. There is a significant inverse relationship between phytotoxicity and content in the soils of zinc and copper. However, their concentration in the soil, leading to a moderate degree of phytotoxicity (30 %) accounted for zinc – 30 mg / kg for copper – 2.0 mg / kg, which is 1.3–1.5 times higher than the maximum allowable concentration mobile forms of heavy metals in soils. Based on regression analysis and comparison with regulatory measures adopted in Russia, has developed principles for the valuation of the regional conditions of the North. Set the concentration of total content and the content of mobile forms of zinc and copper, affecting the ecological status of grasses and soil phytotoxicity, picked averaged limiting concentration (total content and mobile forms) of these metals, which are soil polluters of Arkhangelsk. | 4914 | Introduction. The article considers the role of sophisms in the judicial speech of one of the Tomsk prosecutors. The significance of the research is determined by the combination of the problems of the effectiveness of modern judicial speech, the designation of its place in the structure of the judicial process with linguistic and phonological categories. The purpose is to assess the relevance of the use of sophisms in the speech practice of the modern Tomsk prosecutor. The object of the analysis is the speech activity of a linguistic personality-the prosecutor of Tomsk, a woman, 38 years old. Material and methods. The following methods were used: observation, scientific description, discursive analysis. The material was oral recordings of speeches of the Tomsk prosecutor, lawyer and the defendant, made during one trial. The volume of the material is about 11.5 words. Results and discussion. The article describes various types of sophisms noted in the speeches of the prosecutor: substitution of the thesis, false arguments, arbitrary arguments, arguments against a person, etc. It is found that rhetorical arguments prevail over logical arguments in the speech in the debate. Actually, manipulative techniques are concentrated in that part of the judicial controversy, which is called a replica. To confirm this postulate, the main theses were highlighted, which were proved and evaluated during the debate. Variants of speculative use of evaluative rhetorical techniques prevail. Less common are “false analogy” and “female logic”. There are few cases of distortion of the thesis: “narrowing-expansion of the thesis”, “substitution of the thesis”. At this stage, it is difficult to assess whether the commitment to manipulative techniques is an individual feature of the speaker, or it is typical for a modern judicial process. The use of sophisms is part of the traditions of modern judicial practice, which began in the nineteenth century. It is noted that in the case of using manipulative arguments, the feature of the speaker’s speech portrait is most clearly manifested: subjective assessment and emotionality. Conclusion. We can say that the chosen strategy, assuming the presence of sophisms, proved its situational effectiveness, since it probably became one of the factors that influenced the decision of the court that supported the prosecution. Each speaker, as a professional language personality, has his own arsenal of effective and ineffective ways of organizing a discussion, it is necessary to replenish his communicative arsenal with the most effective management strategies that influenced the court’s decision. | 4945 | The present article shows a lesson plan of an extra-curricular lesson for kindergarten children which was distinguished in the category „Teaching materials” in the International Competition for Teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language organised by Tomsk State Pedagogical University and the Polish-Russian Institute in Wroclaw (Poland). The main theme of the lesson is based on the topic: “Understanding Masha. Speaking humorously, nicely and interestingly about the Russian language and culture.” The lesson is to be organised as a non-obligatory workshop. The lesson plan contains objectives and tasks characteristic of a workshop, of which the most important ones consist in popularising the Russian language and culture, encouraging children to adopt an open attitude towards cultural otherness as well as making them understand and show tolerance towards another culture. The lesson plan enumerates and describes teaching and learning methods to be used during classes. Special attention is paid to the selection process of rhymes and songs for children to learn. It is proposed to choose texts which contain words similar to those in the native tongue. Repeating such words is fun for children and it gives them a sense of achievement. The lesson plan determines also the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the workshop. During the classes children do not only learn Russian words and find out about their geographical neighbour’s culture, but they also learn: working in groups (depending on the age colouring matrioshkas, making greeting cards with a picture of matrioshka, doing a puzzle with a picture of balalaika or samowar), learning behavioural patterns and values through play. This kind of extra-curricular classes constitutes a really absorbing way of popularizing the Russian language among children, but it also provides good practice for students (future teachers) who take part in preparing the event and can engage in organising a really interesting undertaking. | 4946 | Introduction. The material of historical essays by E. P. Kovalevsky, devoted to the events of the Danube campaign, which was practically not studied before, is presented in the work. The aim of the work is to study the genre content of Kovalevsky’s essays and determine their role in the literary process of the 1850s. Material and methods. The research focuses on the work “Three chapters from the political and military history of 1853, 1854 and 1855”, written by a direct participant of the events and at the same time a representative of official circles. Published in “Otechestvennye Zapiski” in 1856, it is considered in comparison with the work “The War with Turkey and the severance with the Western powers in 1853 and 1854” which was published for political reasons only in 1866. The research uses comparative and cultural-historical methods. Results and discussion. The research shows that Kovalevsky’s essays are the first artistic interpretation of the Danube campaign events against the background of official circles’ silence on the political reasons for the beginning of the Crimean war. The originality of the author’s creative manner is shown in the synthesis of a documentary narrative with elements of essay and story. The problems of essays (the problem of the hero, patriotism) and their poetics (the description of nature, the role of the narrator) expand the horizons of the author’s creative search and give an impetus to understanding and presenting new material (form and content) to contemporaries. Conclusion. Typological features of the historical essay and its artistic features in the work of Kovalevsky are revealed. The study of the essay genre on the example of Kovalevsky’s “war stories” makes it possible to build a line of creative continuity in Russian literature (Tolstoy and Dostoevsky). This work will be useful for scientists of historical and philological profile: from the point of view of genesis, the synthetic nature of the essay genre and the literary and factual context of the events of the Crimean campaign.
