Stanovkin P.A. PECULIARITIES OF READERS’ PERCEPTION OF INTERTEXTS IN THE POEMS OF MANDELSTAM. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 11 (188). P. 79-84

Problems of dialogue, regulation of cognitive activity of the reader by means of the text are key to the theory of regulativity developed in Tomsk state pedagogical university, and the theory of intertextuality. The study is performed under the scientific directions. The indicated problem is connected with the highly complex philosophical and linguistic aspects of Mandelstam’s poetry and creativity as its outstanding representative. The creativity of Mandelstam is highly intertextual. The author previously identified five types of lexical regulative models of the intertextual type in it, therefore in this study was conducted an experiment, aimed at identifying their regulatory power. According to indications of language consciousness of the informants, the regulatory power of these structures are influenced by the following linguistic factors: the type of intertexts - respondents noted the key role of pretextual information, of precedent names; the location of intertexts in strong positions (the elements of the pretext of the first poetic stanza); the saturation of the intertextual elements of the poems – the more saturated intertextuality elements of the texts are, the higher their regulatory power. Within the whole text, the models with the minimal amount or the lack of pretextual information have the greatest regulative force, if the saturation coefficient of intertexts is high in the texts themselves. Extra-linguistic factors that affect the regulatory power of the texts include: the level of knowledge of informants; respondents‘ beliefs about their competence in assessing the understanding of the poems; emotional state during the experiment.

Introduction. The research deals with the question of educational interaction of children with various educational needs while a foreign language learning. Aim and objectives. The aim of the research is to reveal the peculiarities of the interaction of children with various educational needs. Material and research methods. The author characterizes each group of children with various educational needs: standard learners, children with disabilities, gifted schoolers, non-native speaker learners. The research shows that children of any category encounter with difficulties within educational process. The author gives analyses of different educational situations of interaction and cooperation of schoolers of various needs. Therefore, on English lesson children are divided into several groups. A group may consist of only standard learners or of a standard learner and a child with disabilities or any other schooler of other category. The teacher monitors peculiarities of any sort of interaction, pays attention to each detail. Results and discussion. Analyzing all the educational situations and different ways of cooperation and co-work of children with various needs, taking into consideration the difficulties schoolers may come across with, the author defines three categories of children interaction: effective (when all the interlocuters are emotionally involved in the process of communication, when a given task is fulfilled), neutral (when a given task is fulfilled, although emotional contact is not established), undesirable (when one or both participants do not interact, do not communicate at all; a given task is not fulfilled). Conclusion. The research defines the peculiarities of the interaction of children with various educational needs. The comprehension of the peculiarities encourages teachers to organize the educational process in the way all the learners are able to cooperate with each other and get higher educational results. Ryabova T.S. CONCEPT “HIGHER EDUCATION” IN RUSSIAN MASS MEDIA DISCOURSE IN 2012–2017. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 4 (210). P. 80-92

Introduction. The content and peculiarities of the implementation of the nuclear features of the concept “higher education” presented in the national media in 2012–2017 and reflecting the results of the media interpretation of national education as a social institution are revealed. Material and methods. The materials of the central Russian media from 2012 to 2017 published on their official websites, including news, analytical articles, and interviews, were used as the research material. The selection of material was carried out by a continuous selection of texts that implement the studied concept. Results and discussion. The nuclear of lexical representations of the researched concept includes the phrase higher education, higher school, its contextual synonyms are professional education and education, and its representatives include such lexemes as higher education, University. Moreover, the interpretation of the concept is marked by lexemes that nominate the specific features of the corresponding Institute’s activities. The development of the concept during the study period is characterized by the formation of the specific content in accordance with the content of the ongoing reforms, and also by the dynamics of the implementation of its features. As a result of the analysis, 4 nuclear features of the media concept “higher education” were identified: “competitiveness at the world level”; “an institution that unites universities, the nature and number of which is adequate to solve its problems”; “economic-oriented”; “cost-effective, market-based production”. Non-nuclear characteristics include “having a wide range of educational areas”, “a social institution that is significant for an individual”, “having a research component”, and others. Conclusion. Four nuclear features of the concept of “higher education” are identified, only one of them is recorded in the explanatory dictionaries of the Russian language. All the identified features reflect the basic provisions of the Russian education reform being carried out at this time, and their presentation in the media are aimed to inform of the reform on the one hand, and to satisfy the audience on the other hand.

Takata K. BRST APPROACH TO GAUGE INVARIANT HIGHER SPIN THEORY OF CONFORMAL FIELD IN FLAT SPACE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 13 (128). P. 155-158

We propose a closed higher-spin algebra and its representation that reproduces conformal invariant Lagrangian presented by Fradkin and Tseytlin. We use this algebra for constructing gauge invariant Lagrangian by BRST method. Lagrangian constructed by BRST method does not have any off-shell constraints or higher derivative terms as in the non-conformal case. As an example for spin 2 case in four space-time dimension, our Lagrangian agrees with that of conformal gravity by using gauge xing and equations of motions of auxiliary fields.

Davydova O.I. ACTUALIZATION OF THE CONTENT OF THE CULTURAL GAME PRACTICE OF A PRESCHOOL CHILD. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 8 (205). P. 7-13

Introduction. The definition of the concept of “cultural gaming practice” is given as “a diverse, based on the current and future interests of the child type of independent activity and behavior”. It substantiates why in cultural practice a child becomes a full-fledged subject of activity, interaction and communication. The parameters of the optimal “inviting” game space created and provided by adults are highlighted. Material and methods. The differences of the “child’s world” in the game from the “real” world of adults are considered, the analysis of the information that the child receives and learns in the game, the classification of information sources is carried out. The degree of relevance of the information depends on who is the source of the information, what role they play for the child, what their status is. Examines the dependence of information on the place of “action8 of the game, the age of the participants, the degree of their “trust” in the other, the “friendliness” in the game team, as well as on what age stage of preschool childhood the child receives and masters this information. The influence of this information on the content and rating of children’s game is determined. The definition of a quest as a type of plot is given. Results and discussion. The results of a survey of social network participants and regular quest players among the population of the Siberian Federal district for confirmation or refutation of the relevance of the creation and implementation of quest games on the plot of Russian folk tales are presented. It was determined that at present a new playing space is being formed that allows preschool children to learn and play in fundamentally new forms for them, such as quest games, plots of favorite fairy tales. The concept of “life practices” is introduced, which are divided into conditionally positive and conditionally negative cultural practices. Conclusion. Yermolenkina L.I. THE INTERPRETATION OF THE POLYCODE TEXT AT THE LINGUISTIC SEMINARS: METHODOLOGICAL BASIS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 9 (162). P. 76-80

The focus of the article is on the methodological question of the modelling of the discursive picture of the world. The students of Philology Department are studying this problem at the seminar “The Russian linguistic and discursive pictures of the world”. This problem is complicated, because in the modern linguistics there are no specific methods of interpretation. The modern text space is polycode (in this function) and dynamic (in the interaction of the author and the addressee) system, which is conditioned by the discourse. These factors determine the problem of the complex interpretation of the senses of the text, which demand the synthetic multi-disciplinary method. The examples are the works of the students, which use the traditional linguistic methods and new – sociometric and psycho-semantic – methods.

Kozlova I.E., Grebenkina I.N. FIGURATIVE EXPRESSIONS DENOMINATING “BREAD” IN THE FRENCH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES (LINGUOCULTUROLOGICAL AND DISCURSIVE ASPECTS). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 107-111

The paper analyses figurative expressions with the denomination “bread” in the French and Russian languages. Figurative expressions of a language serve as an important source for getting information about national world perception because they reflect the spiritual and material culture in the language. The choice for figurative expressions with the components representing food is explained by the fact that food is one of the most vivid elements of national culture which is connected with the native speakers’ understanding of their national specificity. Although the French and Russian cuisines have distinctive features, four products are archetypically significant for both cultures: bread, butter, milk and honey. Their denominations in both languages are very widely represented in figurative expressions. The image of bread is the most significant one in the French and Russian cultures; figurative expressions with this component in both languages are based on the archetype of bread as the symbol of life, well-being and wealth. We believe that for assessing the potential of a figurative expression of a language it is necessary to combine the linguoculturological analysis with the analysis of discursive realization of a studied linguistic unit in different types of discourse. Thus the French figural expression “avoir du pain sur la planche” was analyzed both linguoculturologically and discursively in three meanings. The results have shown that this expression is widely used in different types of modern discourse only in one of its meanings. The results prove that discursive realization is the key element for studying figurative expressions and it should become the key component for complex investigation of the figurative layer of a language.

Shepetovskiy D.V. THEATER AND THEATRICALITY IN NINA BERBEROVA’S SHORT STORIES OF 1930–40S. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 11 (188). P. 154-160

The paper analyzes Nina Berberova’s narrative experimentations in her short stories written in 1930s. They are connected with theatricality used both as a method of characters’self-reflection and as a mode to represent the émigré reality on behalf of the author. Berberova’s interest to theatricality started with extended attention to means to represent dialogical character of communication without dominating narrator. Her work on Madame (staged in 1938) influenced narrative structure of some of her prosaic texts as well. Several ideas find their way into the text in connection with theater and theatricality as a quality of reality. One of them is lack of independence on behalf of an actor; the other is interference between the actor and their part in a play. Depiction of theatricality is not static and its function develops from oppressing a character and forcing him out of life for non-conformance, through theater as an asylum from perils of life, to a global power, which is while alien, is not antagonistic but indifferent to human endeavors. Aesthetic principle serves as uniting the reality and the author hails its understanding as an important distinction of a character. Characters of latter stories are trying to enjoy the spectacle instead of rebelling against it. Putting aesthetic in the center of the world pushes Berberova from her earlier associations with writers in the style of human document closer to Vladimir Nabokov.

Sasaki M. SIGNATURES OF STRING LANDSCAPE FROM INFLATION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 13 (128). P. 145-148

Open ination is a cosmological scenario in which the universe is a vacuum bubble nucleated from false vacuum decay and a period of inationary expansion followed in the nucleated bubble. This scenario is currently receiving renewed interest in the context of the string theory landscape. Since there are a large number of metastable de Sitter vacua in the string landscape, tunneling from one vacuum to another occurs frequently through the bubble nucleation and open ination is naturally realized. We argue that though the universe appears to be very at, a small deviation of омега0 from unity can make the effect of tensor-type perturbations on the large angle CMB anisotropy signicant. Thus we are already testing the string landscape against observations.

The aim of work is to know how the project activity development dynamics of first-year students of psychological and pedagogical departments could be arranged and prove suggestions of project activity development levels: reproductive, productive, constructive. Based on the previous research and experience of working with future teachers, we suggest a hypothesis that in order to organize learning academic activity of children, a student needs to discover his/her own logic of pedagogical project, which, besides the commonly known project stages of idea – implementation – result also includes discovery of pedagogical principles as the main essence of professional knowledge instead of using a ready pattern. The content analysis method was used which collect data associates with the student’s ability to project activities. The work describes the results of the experiment in which participated 76 first-year students of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Siberian Federal University”, including 52 students from two experimental groups of psycho-pedagogical direction and 24 students from the control group of pedagogical direction of training. The results show that the progress in project activity development of experimental group students differs significantly from the progress in project activity development of control group students. Therefore, it is only the focused work of the teacher intended to develop and implement the pedagogical project ideas, based on the open search dialogue activity principles discovered and formulated by students, that brings them to such results as early as during the first year of studies.

Shevtsova G.V., Moskalets L.E. THE ROLE OF MOTIVATION IN THE PROFESSIONAL FOCUSED FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING IN A TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 2 (220). P. 116-124

Introduction. The article provides a brief overview of the employment prospects of the technical universities graduates and describes one of the most urgent issues of modern Russian society which is the problem of successful employment of university graduates and optimal realization of their professional and personal potential. The realities of the modern Russian labor market are uncertain, so many university graduates do not have the opportunity to find a job in their specialty, to find a worthy application of the professional knowledge gained at the university. Aim and objectives. The aim of the article is to analyze the problems of motivation in foreign languages learning in the technical university and justify the need to develop certain measures to encourage motivation of students. Material and methods. In pedagogy and psychology, there are different approaches to understanding the essence, nature and structure of motivation. The methods of study and formulated interpretations of the concept “motivation” vary widely. In this article we analyzed pedagogical approaches, according to which motivation, actively involving students of technical higher education institution in the learning process, contributes to the formation of their foreign language competence. Results and discussion. As a result, the problem of creating certain conditions aimed at the increasing of the university graduates’ adaptability at the labor market is raised. This adaptability is based on the obtaining of additional knowledge and competencies. One of the ways to increase the competitiveness of the university graduates at the labor market is foreign language competence which is the complex of knowledge and skills that allows a university graduate to use a foreign language effectively both in professional activities and in social life. Moreover, foreign language competence is regarded today as an integral part of the general professional competence of a technical specialist. In order to obtain the optimal level of foreign language competence the authors recommend using the professional focused foreign language model which takes into account professional and language needs of technical specialists. The successful realization of professionally-focused foreign language education claims for a certain system of motivation, especially at technical universities, whose students have low motivation to study the foreign language due to the technical style of thinking and underestimation of the importance and value of foreign language knowledge in the future professional functioning. That is why the important pedagogical task is to motivate students to consciously perceive and learn a foreign language. Conclusion. Analyzing the general problems of motivation in the educational process, the authors generalize the pedagogical experience of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI). The article shows that professional development of future engineers, expansion of their socio-cultural, cognitive and informative horizons, are largely associated with the foreign language competence. The authors call for the technical universities teachers to expand the measures aimed at increasing the motivational level of students in the process of learning a foreign language.
