Didenko G.A., Stepanova O.A. IMPROVEMENT OF THE CONTENT OF THE INFORMATION CYCLE DISCIPLINES BY MEANS OF CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 12 (189). P. 63-67

The content of the information cycle disciplines should correspond to the modern trends in the development of computer and information and communication technologies. Implementation of this requirement is possible with the use of cloud technologies that solve the problem associated with the installation, updating, support for the operation of software and hardware by providing remote access to various cloud services. When studying the disciplines of the information cycle, we focus on cloud services that support the SaaS model (the provision of various software) and STaaS (storage of information as a service). The analysis of the results of questioning of “Clinical Psychology” students showed that they are familiar only with the notion of cloud technologies and in practice they only use services for storing information, creating text documents, presentations and spreadsheets. Therefore, it is important in the process of studying the disciplines of the information cycle to introduce the students to a wide range of cloud technologies that will be in demand in future professional activities. At the training sessions, learners are introduced to the capabilities of the cloud tool o-cheloveke.ru, which allows you to diagnose characteristics of a person. Next, explore the features of the online Google calendar, in which they create events, translate the texts in Google Translate; create diagrams or charts in Google Drawings; work in a social network Google+, where they create circles, communities of interest; exchange messages, calls and video meetings on Google Hangouts. With the help of the cloud service Google Drive students individually or collectively create and store information objects in the cloud.

The word-formation characteristic of the political newspaper lexicon takes into account the part of speech of the lexical units inherent in some grammatical features. The subject of research in the work, along with complex words, are also derived lexemes. Among them, derivative nouns as well as verbs predominate. Affixes, most of which are suffixes, are frequency ones. The methodological component of this study includes as the main method of component analysis, the method of wordformation models, descriptions. In summing up the results of the study, a quantitative method was used. Conclusion. The results of the study show the dominant position of the compound words revealed in the Germanlanguage political newspaper vocabulary. Borrowings from English are productive. Presented in General, the scientific justification can be used in the course of lexicology of the German language. Petrochenko L.A., Nagornaya L.A. TIME MEASUREMENT: PECULIARITIES OF REPRESENTATION IN MODERN ENGLISH. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 6 (171). P. 20-24

The article deals with the peculiarities of using language quantifiers which express time measurements in Modern English. According to a widespread conception in the literature of linguistics and philosophy, space and time are deeply intertwined with each other, both in language and in underlying concepts. As both space and time can be measured the category of measure and its language representatives are inseparably connected with space-time system. To gain a better insight into the relations between time and measure the revealed language means have been gathered into certain groups, which form the structure of the functional-semantic field representing the category of time. The core of the field is represented by the metric system of time measurements and some traditional units used in Englishspeaking countries. The latter part of the core is rather small in number. Of special interest are inaccurate and unspecified measures, forming the peripheral zone of the functional-semantic field under discussion.

Mokryy V.Y. ABOUT TEACHING DISCIPLINE OF “INFORMATICS” TO STUDENTS OF LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE BY MEANS OF SYSTEM OF DISTANCE LEARNING MOODLE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 9 (186). P. 102-108

This article deals with considering of some questions of teaching discipline “Informatics” to students of liberal arts colleges. In modern conditions, it is important for students as future specialists to form their information culture. In this regard, information systems and technologies are intensively used in education. One of the instruments of forming of information culture of students is the discipline of “Informatics” which is taught to the students studying in the directions of preparation “Economics” and “Conflictology”. As the obligatory components of competences that must be formed in the course of studying the discipline “Informatics”, the skills of processing of text information, preparation of data in spreadsheets and developments of databases can be singled out. Therefore, one of the main competencies that are formed in the course of studying the discipline “Informatics”, in our opinion, is the ability to use modern technical means and information technologies (PK-8) for solving analytical and research problems. Analysis of the experience of teachers of the Department of Informatics and Mathematics of Saint-Petersburg University of Humanitarian and Social Sciences shows that the educational and methodological support of independent work on the discipline “computer science”, develops at a fairly high methodological level and is actively used in educational process. However, with the development of information technologies, including the constant updating of the programs of the MS Office package, it becomes necessary to update the workshop. Therefore, the author based on the already available materials developed an electronic course on the discipline “Informatics”, placed in the SPbGUP system of independent work support (www.edu.gup.ru). The main attention is paid to the description of the structure of the course and the generalization of the author’s experience in teaching the discipline “Informatics” with its use.

Medniko D.M. ON THE QUESTION OF GOLD INDUSTRY WORKERS’ INSURANCE IN THE LATE 1800’S – EARLY 1900’S. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 5 (194). P. 103-109

Since the very beginning of goldmine industry in Siberia its workers were on their own in issues of healthcare, insurance and support of families of the deceased laborers. Changes came in the end of XIX – the beginning of XX century. They became possible because of new imperial legislation. According to new laws, entrepreneurs became responsible for their worker’s health and were obliged to compensate work-related injury or death claims of employees. However, it caused debates among people of industry. They made several projects, concerning the creation of insurance association and the society of mutual insurance for workers. Some projects were quite promising, supposing that accessible health insurance funds would be created even in Siberian taiga. But conferences of gold industry entrepreneurs tended to support the moderate ones. Even the duration of operational season was disputed since it had effect on payments size. However, even these efforts were made without great effect and failed to create a stable insurance system. As seen from the study it was the consequence of entrepreneurs’ effort to share responsibility for insurance with the state institutions and workers themselves. The problem of health insurance was a part of the labour issue, which appeared to be unmanageable.

Material and methods. The research material was English-language sources, official websites of the world’s leading private universities: University of Massachusetts, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania (USA), Jacobs University of Bremen and Zeppelin University (Germany), National University of Singapore (NUS), etc. Analysis of leading private universities’ educational practices, which made it possible to reveal and substantiate the educational practices’ key characteristics in human capital formation. Results and discussion. The educational practices’ key characteristics of the world’s leading universities as a tool for realizing human capital are the following: – autonomy of a private university, characterized by its own independent design of the university management’s strategy and policy and educational process – knowledge interdisciplinary synthesis based on the various scientific research’s integration and the widespread use of modern educational technologies. Creation of interdisciplinary institutes and multi-university programs; – high concentration of talents of all educational process’ subjects, where the main factor in the human capital formation in a private university is the privilege of selective selection of students with high academic performance, attracting famous scientists to research; – universities network interaction with the industrial sphere in the light of personnel training. The main form of networking is the corporate universities creation; – universities consortium, which is a single university that forms a unified brand with a centralized structure; – effective fundraising system that ensures the productive human capital formation. The main source is income from own scientific and practical developments carried out on a contractual basis by public and private firms; – research reputation. Advanced scientific and practical developments, characterized by productivity. Research developments directly depend on the universities autonomy, the greater of a university`s autonomy, the freer it is in choosing research areas. Conclusion. The modern education system acts as an integrator of the interests of the individual and society, predetermining the development of mankind for many years to come. The experience of a foreign private higher school shows that educational practices are an effective mechanism in the formation of human capital. Lekhtenfeld O. INSTANTONS AND CHERN-SIMONS FLOWS IN SIX AND SEVEN DIMENSIONS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 13 (128). P. 103-108

The existence of K-instantons on a cylinder M7 = Rт x K/H over a homogeneous nearly Kahler 6-manifold K/H requires a conformally parallel or a cocalibrated G2-structure on M7. The generalized anti-self-duality onM7 implies a Chern-Simons ow on K/H which runs between instantons on the coset. For K-equivariant connections, the torsionful Yang-Mills equation reduces to a particular quartic dynamics for a Newtonian particle on C. We obtain kink- or bounce-type solutions for generic values of the torsion. When the latter corresponds to the conformally parallel or cocalibrated G2-structure on M7, the dynamics follows from a gradient or hamiltonian ow, respectively, and we encounter Yang-Mills instantons.
