Petrochenko L.A., Nagornaya L.A. TIME MEASUREMENT: PECULIARITIES OF REPRESENTATION IN MODERN ENGLISH. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 6 (171). P. 20-24

The article deals with the peculiarities of using language quantifiers which express time measurements in Modern English. According to a widespread conception in the literature of linguistics and philosophy, space and time are deeply intertwined with each other, both in language and in underlying concepts. As both space and time can be measured the category of measure and its language representatives are inseparably connected with space-time system. To gain a better insight into the relations between time and measure the revealed language means have been gathered into certain groups, which form the structure of the functional-semantic field representing the category of time. The core of the field is represented by the metric system of time measurements and some traditional units used in Englishspeaking countries. The latter part of the core is rather small in number. Of special interest are inaccurate and unspecified measures, forming the peripheral zone of the functional-semantic field under discussion.

Malinovskaya Y.N. TUTORING AS AN EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE OF INDIVIDUALIZED SOCIETY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 12 (189). P. 37-41

The article describes the educational practice of tutoring in the context of challenges of individualized society. The problems faced by people in individualized society include growing uncertainty of life and the lack of clear guidelines. This uncertainty complicates planning life, setting long-term goals. A person feels helpless, he is disoriented and unable to control the events, his life loses its integrity, becomes fragmented. In the article the skills allowing a person to live in instable society, such as the ability to identify his values, to find the resources to achieve his goals, to organize his activity and to implement its reflection are named. Different approaches to understanding the concept of ‘individualization of education’ are considered, the concepts of ‘individual approach’ and ‘individualization’ are differentiated. Individual approach involves considering the individual characteristics of students, while individualization of education is a broad concept, implying the subjective position of a student, appeal to his interests and needs, development of student’s self-control, self-reflection, and self-planning. The essence of tutoring practice as an effective practice of individualization is revealed. An open, humane position of a tutor, expanding educational space of a tutee and promoting his self-development, is opposed to a directive, authoritarian position of a teacher, limiting the educational space of a student and blocking his independence. The role of a dialogic position of a teacher in implementing tutoring practice is marked. Since the practice of tutoring allows a person to reflect on his life and forms the set of skills necessary for a decent life in the situation of instability, it should be used in education to meet the challenges of individualized society.

Dubskikh A.I. INTERNET-SPACE AS A SPHERE FOR REALIZATION OF NEGATIVE SELF-PRESENTATION BY HUMORISTIC MEANS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 2 (199). P. 14-20

Being a universal means of communication, search, storage and transmission of information, the Internet has become an integral element of our lives. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that in modern linguistics the texts of Internet communication attract much attention of scientists. The Internet culture is closely connected with the implementation of various humorous intentions, and the success of virtual (informal) communication depends on the comic component. The article concerns the role of self-presentation at the forming of virtual personality during Internet communication. The object of study is the mechanism for creating negative self-presentation with the help of humorous means. The authors aim to systemize the present approaches to the strategy of self-presentation. The importance of humoristic means in the realization of intentions of different kinds at the virtual communication is stressed. Humor is a kind of non-stereotyped cognitive processing of the perception of the incongruous and absurd things in the surrounding reality. This is an attempt to break the dogmatism of the template way of reflecting the surrounding world order, emphasizing its inconsistency and absurdity. The author also analyzes effective means of actualization of negative self-presentation in the virtual environment such as trolling, Internet jargon, mems and taboos. Komnatnaya S.R. REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPT LAW AS PART OF THE FIELD OF SOCIAL AND LEGAL RELATIONS IN THE LANGUAGE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE YOUNG RUSSIAN NATIVE SPEAKER. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 5 (202). P. 16-23

Introduction. This article considers the concept law as a part of the field of social and legal relations, that is the sphere of human life which is regulated by legal norms. The purpose of the study is to find out how the component of the law concept associated with the area of social and legal relations is represented in the language consciousness of the young Russian native speaker. Material and methods. To achieve this goal, the author conducted associative, receptive and color experiments with the participation of student recipients, and also compiled the relevant fields. A series of experiments was carried out twice: in 2013–2015 and 2017–2018, it allowed to analyze the perception of the studied concept by the recipients in dynamics. In addition, the results of the study were compared with the data from the Russian associative dictionary, experiments for this dictionary were conducted at the end of the 20th century. This made it possible to track changes in the linguistic consciousness of the young Russian speaker over the last decades. Results and discussion. Using only one type of experiment to analyze the language consciousness is not enough, because the links between its structures are not linear, therefore, the data obtained during one type of experiment must be verified by experiments of other types. Associative, receptive and color experiments allowed us to bring to the surface and analyze different structures of consciousness and different types of speech activity, and also to characterize the concept under study from different sides. Conclusion. Over the past decades, the number of legal reactions to the “law” stimulus has significantly increased, which indicates changes in the language consciousness of Russian native speakers. The experiments carried out give grounds to assert that recipients associate the concept of law with the sphere of social and legal relations. This may indicate an increase in the level of legal culture among young people. At the same time, the tendency towards a more negative perception of the stimulus law has clearly emerged in recent years, and it is also confirmed by the results of experiments.

Kolupanova I.A. PROBLEMS OF MASS TOURISM FORMATION IN USSR IN 1960’S–1970’S (BASED ON THE EXAMPLE OF WEST AND EAST SIBERIA). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 9 (174). P. 51-58

The topic of tourism development in Russian regions is very relevant today, since it is related to regional economy development. Hence, problems and prospects of the tourism industry development more and more attract researchers’ and public attention. The article revealed the problems of mass tourism formation in Western and Eastern Siberia regions through exposing forms and directions of tourism industry development in those regions in 1960s–1970s. The problem of tourism in certain Siberian regions is considered by the researches in their works, some aspects of tourism development in Siberian regions are touched on many conferences, devoted to the problems of tourism development in various Russian regions. This gives the right to claim that the aspect of reconstructing forms and directions of regional tourism development in Siberia is discovered insufficiently. Therefore, the author addresses primary sources, namely, archive documentation. The main base draws up previously unpublished archival sources. Materials of the State Archive Fund of Novosibirsk and Kemerovo oblasts contain information about the volume of transportation showing mass tourism development in the given period. Materials from the Russian Federation State Archive contain statistical data on travel volumes and the number of tourists in the analyzed period. Experience in the tourism industry development in Siberian region would help to reveal the preconditions and to present the trend of mass tourism development in the country during this period. The change to a five-day working week with 2 days off prompted the demand for recreation, which was increasing among the soviet population. Along with the expansion of organized tourist trips, the mass initiative tourist movement was getting the increasing popularity. The different forms of initiative tourism worked: trips “Auto stop”, alpinist tours, walking local and regional tours, week-end trips, etc. By the end of the 1960s, tourism was converted into a single-union system demanding comprehensive centralized management with material and technical base, established only on the basis of a unified system approach. Central Tourism Department put the plans that have been successfully carried out by regional councils on tourism, implementing the decisions of the Central Committee of the Party and the decisions of the Soviet Government. The effective management of administrative practices on the one hand stimulated the mass tourism and excursion industry development, but on the other hand hindered its effective control in the regions.

The tendency of decrease(reduction) was outlined in the maximum(supreme) pedagogical formation(education) аудиторной loadings on disciplines of a physical and mathematical structure. It demands development of new approaches to practice of training of students of pedagogical high school to carrying out of physical experiment. By application of traditional techniques of training this problem to solve it is impossible, therefore there was a necessity of development of new techniques of training to physical experiment which would allow to carry out within the framework of available fund of time educational activity of students in conditions of an optimum parity(ratio) of virtual and natural didactic means of training and to receive planned educational result. By the example of statement of physical experiment on research of discharge plasma it is shown, that the purpose of performance of a laboratory practical work will consist not only in purchase by students of skills of experimental studying, for example, properties of plasma and methods of its(her) diagnostics, but also in development of skills of the analysis of the received results on the basis of modern theoretical representations.
