This article through the prism of the parameters analyzed sociolinguistic discursive characteristics of epistolarymedia language person, actualized in the sphere of electronic mass interaction. The material for the examination online at the moment is the petition addressed to the representatives of regional and state authorities, as a kind of epistolary texts electronic-social orientation. In the light of sociolinguistic approach online petitions are defined as belonging to the institutional type of discourse, and epistolary-media personality is parameterized in terms of its social status. It should be mentioned that the institutional discourse is more dependent on the conditions in which it is carried out: the aim, the communicants status characteristics, the degree and format of their participation in the discursive event, situational context, the constitutive features in general. For sociolinguistic characteristics of discursive properties of epistolary language of sociolinguistic identity there exist the following parameters: 1) the status-role characteristics of the sender; 2) тhe focus of the author's goal-setting; 3) the ideological and thematic content of the letters; 4) the type of epistolary text; 5) the type of destination; 6) the functional and stylistic features of the epistolary discourse; 7) the use of voice features, including stylistic means. Substantiates the existence of social dominance in the communicative behavior of this type of carrier, which is expressed in the awareness of personal and social identity, demonstrating active citizenship in addressing pressing social issues, ability to carry out communicative expedient and rhetorically organized interaction with different types of people (like-minded people, government officials, site moderator), openness of discursive manifestations.

Zholudeva L.I. THE FUNCTIONING OF THE PRONOUN FORM GLI IN THE 16TH-CENTURY ITALIAN LANGUAGE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 5 (194). P. 9-14

The article focuses on the polifunctional pronoun form gli and its patterns of use in the 16th-century Italian. In Old Italian, as a result of phonetic changes, this form became virtually universal, as it performed various subject, direct object and indirect object functions and co-occurred with other developments of the Lat. ille. In Modern Italian gli has several uses, but they are not stylistically equal: gli as the indirect object masculine singular pronoun is normative, gli as the indirect object plural form is colloquially marked, and gli as the indirect object feminine singular pronoun is regarded as a vulgarism. The 16th century, in a way, was a transition period when certain uses of gli that later became obsolete are only present in comic genres and in the writings by semiliterate authors. Another interesting feature is the growing discrepancy between the dialect of Florence and the codified norm. The reduction of superfluous uses of gli in the 16th-century Italian has not been dealt with specially before. The present piece of research aims at assessing the way the functions of gli were gradually being reduced and differentiated stylistically, which becomes evident when one confronts prose and verse writings belonging to different genres and to authors from different regions of Italy.

Semenova I.N. Conventional-reflexive system of teaching methods for training a professionally mobile teacher in a digital educational environment. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 2 (232). P. 7-15

When highlighting the concept of “personal activity” as an indicator of professional mobility, which is interpreted as readiness and adaptability to work under changing conditions based on the development of new forms and types of actions, the article describes a conventionally reflexive system of teaching methods of a modern teacher, which guarantees the formation of a teacher’s skills independently compose and evaluate teaching methods in a changing digital educational environment. The features of the proposed system of teaching methods are highlighted using a paradigm approach, taking into account the study of the status of the “teaching method” as a learning goal in the “Modern” educational paradigm. This status of the method in the context of teacher training allows us to indicate two classes of methods: methods of teaching and methods of organizing educational and cognitive activity. The essence of the specification of the methods of each class in the system of teacher training is determined by the property of autologicality (that is, the need to describe oneself). For the considered property, four main signs (characteristics) of manifestation have been established: the presence of an autological goal, fixing cause-and-effect relationships for using the method in a specific methodological system, studying cause-and-effect relationships for using the method when transforming the model of a specific methodological system, formulating a value judgment about the appropriateness of applying method in a certain methodological system or pedagogical situation. Endowing the property of autologicality with the selected characteristics of the content and procedural essence determines the link between knowledge and methods of activity, which is key for professional pedagogical education, allowing to activate professional (functional) literacy, qualitative characteristics of the personality, as well as the positive psychophysical mood of students. These competency components are included in the profile of “ability to understand and act”, considered as the basis of professional mobility. Achieving the didactic completeness of the presented conventional-reflexive system of teaching methods is determined by the formation of the teacher’s ability to independently compose teaching methods and methods for organizing educational and cognitive activities in a digital educational environment. As a means of forming this skill, a “learning-cognitive expert system” is proposed, which contains software support – a generator for disaggregating teaching methods and an expert block filled with methods of conventional role-playing reflection. Within the framework of using the proposed system, the formation of a selected skill can be carried out in three stages. In the paradigm terminology, the “educational-cognitive expert system” is, in fact, an element of the “value setting” of a particular “Modern” paradigm. The metaphysical part of this paradigm is given by the digital educational environment.

Keywords: paradigm approach, disciplinary matrix, conventionally reflexive system of teaching methods, autological teaching method, professional mobility, ability to understand and act, educational and cognitive expert system, digital educational environment

Slepneva M.A. Modular foreign language teaching system for three-level technical specialists training. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 5 (235). P. 77-89

Professionally-oriented foreign language training at a university under modern economic, social and geopolitical terms of society development should provide a high level of graduates’ knowledge, skills and abilities in highly specialized areas that form the basis of training and form their readiness to perform professional communication with foreign colleagues when solving practical, theoretical and research tasks. This training should also promote their further self-development, self-education and professional growth. Thus, learning a foreign language could help to perform two main functions in the young specialist’s professional activity: to be a communication tool (in oral and written form) and to become a means of improving one’s professional level. Taking into account the Federal State Educational Standard, the process of foreign language learning in a technical university is aimed at the formation of communicative competencies – the ability to logically correctly and clearly build oral and written speech, make public speeches, conduct reasoned discussion and at the formation of professional competencies – analyze, summarize and perceive information, write scientific texts in their professional field. Higher school teachers are faced with the task of developing these competencies in conditions of insufficient hours given to humanities and a low level of foreign language knowledge among applicants. In particular, a modular system with a flexible approach to the educational process allows you to create pedagogical conditions for the implementation of goals and objectives at different stages of learning. The work was carried out on the basis of the leading technical university of the country. The pedagogical model was updated: the course content for three stages of training (bachelor’s, master’s, postgraduate) was developed, goals and objectives were defined, methodological support was written, exercise books (paper and digital) for each level of training were published, independent educational and cognitive activities of students were organized. The educational process in universities should create conditions in which the student will see his own growth and achievements, will be able to conduct self-analysis and evaluate the results of his activities. The modular approach provides freedom for both teachers and students in filling individual modules with interesting material, choosing a learning path, space for independent work and creative self-realization.

Keywords: foreign language for special purposes, modular training system, multi-level training of specialists, communicative competence, professional activity

Kozlov V.V. Basic Determinants of the Spiritual Crisis. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2002. Issue 3 (31). P. 75-83

The article discusses the causes and regularities of the personality spiritual crisis development. The problem is extremely important for modern psychology. The paper analyses the structure of a personality in which, from the point of view of the author, it is possible to single out three levels: the material «Ego», the social «Ego», and the spiritual «Ego». The author considers the spiritual «Ego» to be the most integrated part of a personality, which at the age of maturity regulates the entire activity of a personality on a global scale. The formation of this personal structure occurs in the process of overcoming spiritual crises that force the personality to rethink the contents of the meaning of life constantly and reconsider the answer to question «Why do I live?». The author examines the main trends in the spiritual «Ego» - the effusive, transformational and conservative ones, which in most cases define the direction of the development of a spiritual crisis. However, it is the level of vitality that is considered as the base of a personality's spiritual growth. It depends little on a personality and is more likely of a biological origin. In the second part of the article different factors, which can promote or prevent personal spiritual crises, are considered. The classification of these factors is linked by the author with the three main trends presented in the spiritual «Ego» of a personality and with the level of vitality.

Dauletov A.S. GENDER LEXICAL ASPECTS AS THEY ARE SEEN IN AN ENGLISH TEXT AND IN ITS RUSSIAN VERSION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 10 (151). P. 94-101

This paper concerns the lexical problem how to convey the category of gender while translating the authentic English texts into Russian. When contrasted to each other the English and the Russian analogous nouns being of different genders illustrate dramatically different outer world as it is seen through the grammatical category of gender. The Russian professional translators do their best to convey the English gender peculiarities using both grammar and lexical-semantic devices sometimes seeming to be of no effect. While studying gender close attention is drawn to conveying masculine and feminine gender and animate/inanimate categories.

Kurovsky V.N., Pyatkina G.N. EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS AS AN INTEGRATING FACTOR AND THE MECHANISM OF INTERACTION BETWEEN SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC SPHERES OF SOCIETY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 3 (156). P. 159-164

The effectiveness of the implementation of long-term socio-economic development of Russia depends on the quality of human and social capital. A significant role in their formation belongs to educational systems, the development of which should be coordinated with social and economic spheres of society in the form of interaction models that allow predicting its content and technology. The design of such models requires study of the functions of educational systems in the overall development process. This article clarifies the concept of “educational system”, offers a typology of educational systems, and discusses options for the analysis of their functions in this interaction.

Lashmanova V.F. THE INTRODUCTION OF UNITS OF EDUCATION QUALITY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 7 (160). P. 59-62

The unit of measure of education quality is entered. Difficulties of introduction of a universal unit of measure are discussed. The option based on an average arithmetic assessment of knowledge of studied disciplines is considered. Sources of the errors arising at such expert assessment are studied. It is shown that the size of an error can be reduced if to use probabilistic approach. It is based on the introduction of functions – mathematical expectation estimation. The mathematical technology of processing of indicators of progress is offered. It is noted that the main problem there is a choice of an expert assessment. An example of objective calculation of an assessment is reviewed. The conclusion that the number of indicators of progress should not exceed three-four is drawn, otherwise errors of measurements increase more, than for 50 %. The problem of choice of indicators for assessment of level of training of the student is formulated. It is shown that the main priorities for the employer are his professional competences, and common cultural pale into insignificance. The conclusion can be drawn on quality of education, later some period after the beginning of work of the graduate of educational institution. It is shown that the state of educational-methodical documentation of the department has little effect on the quality of education. It is specified that major factors of improvement of quality of education are the material base of higher education institution, a condition of research activity and close cooperation with employers. They allow to introduce innovative achievements of science in educational process.

Introduction. The analysis of Siberian newspapers of the early 1880s, which contains information about I. S. Turgenev: Irkutsk newspapers «Siberia» (1873–1887), «Eastern Review» (1882–1906) and Tomsk; Sibirskaya Gazeta (1881–1888), Sibirskiy Vestnik (1885–1905). The purpose of the study was to identify the reception of the personality and work of the great Russian writer by the Siberian educated society and an understanding of his role in the spiritual life of Siberia and Russia. Material and methods. In the course of its implementation, a system of methods was used: biographical, historicalliterary, historical-functional, cultural-historical and comparative-typological. Results and discussion. Turgenev turned out to be a significant figure for the cultural life of Siberia. His works were sold in bookstores in Tomsk, Omsk, Barnaul, Irkutsk, and were in many libraries in Siberia. With the appearance of the first Siberian newspapers, reviews and materials about the work and events of the life of the Russian writer were printed on their pages. Most often his name was found on the pages of the «Siberian newspaper». The love story of S. S. Sinegub was known among the populist revolutionaries. She found, in the opinion of the author of the article, its reflection in the development of the love affair of Nezhdanov, Marianna and Solomin (novel «Nov»). The secret editor of the newspaper was F. V. Volkhovsky, a political exile, tried in the socalled «trial of the 193s» in 1877 y. Turgenev was not personally acquainted with Volkhovsky, but actively communicated with G. A. Lopatin, his friend and associate in political activities, and together with him founded the Russian Public Library in Paris. Particular attention in the article is paid to the analysis of materials about Turgenev on the pages of Irkutsk and Tomsk periodicals: these are reprints and comments and articles of central newspapers about the works of Turgenev, their own reviews and reviews of the writer of Siberian writers. Some of them – N. I. Naumov, I. V. Omulevsky (and, possibly, N. M. Yadrintsev) – were personally acquainted with him and were present at Turgenev’s meetings with the editors of the magazine «Slovo» and «Russkoe Bogatstvo». It was in the March issue of the radical magazine «Slovo» in 1881 that Turgenev’s famous poem «Croquet in Windsor» (1876) was first published in Russia. Conclusion. The Siberian public closely followed the work of Turgenev, information about his illness was published in Siberian newspapers. After his death, it was reported about memorial services, which took place in a number of Siberian cities. The author of the article reviewed obituaries and posthumous articles about Turgenev, talentedly written by the editors of «Vostochny Obozreniye» and «Sibirskaya Gazeta». Ilakavichus M.R. SELF-EDUCATION IN THE SPACE OF ADULTS EDUCATION: RESOURCES AND DEFICIENCY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 5 (223). P. 76-84

Introduction. Self-education is for an adult a skill necessary for a full-fledged life in conditions of constant uncertainty. This type of activity is inextricably linked with the subject position, the author’s attitude to his education and life in general. The stage-by-stage formation of subjectness includes the school and university period, the further construction of an individual educational path depends on the formed readiness for self-education, the availability of relevant experience. Support in the development of self-education skills can be obtained in formal education, in non-formal education communities, as well as in educational informational resources. These practices of these types of continuing education constitute the space of adult education that implements the variability of support. The aim of the research is to analyze the resources available in the space of adult education to support the development of self-education skills, as well as deficits in this area. Material and methods. The material was the theoretical sources and practices of teaching self-education and the development of the ability of self-education, interviews with part-time adjuncts of St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Results and discussion. The topic of teaching self-educational activity has been sufficiently studied. In the Soviet period, the methods and techniques of appropriate teaching during the school period were described. Currently, secondary education solves the problem by engaging children in research activities, so it leads to the progress of personalized education development. However, progress on this issue remains unsatisfactory. The preparation of teachers for self-educational activity is problematized, because without such skills, it is impossible to organize the development of students. In organizations of higher education, the revealed underdevelopment of self-educational activity can be compensated by appropriate programs of psychological and pedagogical support. Teachers need special pedagogical skills. In the field of non-formal education, an adult has the opportunity to develop the ability of self-education by joining self-organizing communities when the need arises to renew knowledge. However, the intensity of his life activity often prevents this. The resource of informal education (educational content) is not quite relevant. Live offline interaction with a mentor, consultant, a strategy for quick support of the resumption of educational activities are in demand. The aspect of psychological support is important. Conclusion. The problem of developing the ability to self-educate adults is seen as being solved by implementing the trinity of formal, non-formal and informal types of lifelong education as a structure that reveals options for eliminating the deficit of knowledge and skills: from practice-oriented modules in educational programs of formal education, mutual learning in self-organizing communities of non-formal education before navigating informal sources.

Babushkina M.A. METACOMMUNICATIVE SPEECH ACTS WIHT SPECIFYING SEMANTICS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 11 (188). P. 25-30

The article deals with the metacommunicative components, metacommunicative statements and metacommunicative situations on the whole with specifying semantics, in other words, the object of analysis is metacommunicative speech acts of the speaker, which represent a verbal explanation of the specific speech situation, specification, concretization of the speech act of the participant of the communication process. The article explains the practical significance of the use of such speech acts. The specification allows us to focus on the speech behavior of the interlocutor, regulate the process of communication and request additional information which is necessary for a complete and correct interpretation of a speech act. Metacommunicative speech acts can be expressed as particles (то есть – that is, да – yes, вроде – like), adverbs (точно – exactly, правильно – right, верно – correct, etc. ), and metacommunicative statements of the phraseological character (иметь в виду – to bear in mind, пойми меня правильно – understand me correctly), interrogative metacommunicative statements (Что ты хочешь этим сказать? – What do you mean by that? Слышишь? – Do you hear? etc.), metacommunicative statements (Я ничего не понял, объясните и др. – I did not understand anything, will you explain, etc.) and whole metacommunicative speech situations containing the action tendency to explain what was said. The research was performed on the material of the modern fiction (the fiction books of T. Zakharova-Sarovskaya M.V. PECULIARITIES OF NEOLOGICAL COMPOUNDS FORMATION (BASED ON ATTRIBUTIVE COMPANY NAMES OF NOVOSIBIRSK). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 7 (196). P. 61-65

The author studies the issue of complex word generation based on an integrative speech-thinking model of word production. The model reveals processes of words production on onomasiological, cognitive and word-forming level. The paper presents the results of studying complex words on the material of Novosibirsk city ergonyms with attributive semantics. Ergonyms, being the most actively enriched category of onyms for the recent decades, reflect general trends occurring in the language: use of different structure components in the composition of a complex word; various possibilities of language game: lexical, stylistic and graphic features of neologisms formation. The most significant trend of modern word derivation is agglutinative or analytical nature of compounding process. Special analytical components of a compound word are clipped stems, root affixes, nouns, adjectives, numerals, graphical signs or abbreviations; which can be grouped in different sequences in the compound word. The position of the component expressing the attributive semantics can be initial or final, with the predominance of the initial, that expresses the semantic model “defining component-determined component”. The integrative speech-thinking model of word-production as the basic research method of word production assumes the description of representation structures of different types of knowledge at several levels (onomasiological, cognitive, nominative and derivation) and the choice of corresponding speech forms. When generating a new word the choice of the most essential information occurs at the stage of signifying the predicative form and is realized in the equivalent conventional or non-conventional models of word-production.
