This allows to analyze the specificity of creative self-determination of the author during emigration. It is in “The Wayfarer” that the change of anthropological bases of female images in Zaitsev’s prose was first detected. In the novel “The House in Passy” the writer reproduces the characteristic types of emigrants and of indigenous French women. Female image loses its mystical air, mythological allusiveness, philosophical “sophiological” context, present in the early prose of the author. | 5952 | The article demonstrates the results of a study which is aimed to identify the relationship between individual values and innovative attitudes. 380 Russian people acted as respondents in this research – representatives of young generation (till 25 years) and the adults (45 years are more senior). As the main research method was used a survey method, consisting in filling of specially prepared questionnaires in which the technique of measurement of individual values – PVQ-R and a technique “Self-assessment of the personality’s innovative qualities” were used. The study confirmed the hypothesis that the value of the personal safety hinders the adoption of innovations among adult respondents, and public safety, by contrast, stimulate the adoption of innovations. | 5969 | The article is devoted to studying the image of Polish diaspora of Siberia in modern Poland. The materials under study were publications in the monthly journal written in Russian “Новая Польша” (The New Poland) issued in Poland since 1999. The linguistic means creating the image considering the binary opposition “friend – foe” are being analyzed in this work. The analysis of periodicals has shown that in narrations about Poles in Siberia the exiled Poles are in the limelight. Their inclusion into “friends” by modern Polish society is observed. The vocabulary markers of two levels are met: group level (our) and personal (my). It was defined that among the properties allowing considering the exiled Poles as “friends” are as follows: birth in Poland, the status of exiled, i. e. forcible transfer to Siberia in XIX century or in the middle of ХХ, lack of mindset to integrate with the Siberian society, striving for good education. As the exiled Poles are considered being “friends”, their perception of Siberia as of the place for exile became one of the main components of historical perception of Poles and therefore the self-identification aspect. The information about modern Siberian Poles on the pages of “Новая Польша” newspaper looks more decent. However it is observed that while their description the vocabulary characterizing Siberian Poles with a definite degree of “foreignness” is often met. The Poland nominates are often observed when creating the image of modern Siberian Poles; however the rest context of the text makes them lose their value. Being born in Siberia and its perception as the motherland as well as loss of Polish language became the main factors of distance formation. Therefore, the application of binary opposition “friend – foe” showed the double nature of perception of Polish diaspora in Siberia by Polish society. Exiled Poles are felt closer and therefore defined as “friends”. Some kind of foreignness is seen in regards to modern Siberian Poles. It is an important component of modern school education aimed at the development of a linguistic personality ready for communication in a multicultural multilingual world. The aim of the research is to develop teaching materials which can be used at classes or as extracurricular activities by English teachers on the basis of the analysis of the culture-specific language competence components and approaches to its development. The material for the developing of theoretical positions was scientific papers on the main directions of this study and educational-methodical manuals used in the process of teaching English in high school. Empirical research material is the book “Alice in Wonderland” by L. Carroll which served the basis for teaching materials elaboration to develop students’ culture-specific language competence. In the course of the research, the methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization and generalization of scientific and methodical literature, modelling English classes and experiential learning are used. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the clarification of content and structure of the culture-specific competence, peculiarities of its development in high school and justification of the cultural and historical epoch context introduction necessity while working with a literary text. The culture-specific language competence is considered as a combination of a theoretical and processual-activity components including target language country realia, corresponding language units, history, culture, traditions and customs and the ability to employ this knowledge in order to bridge the language barrier and communicate effectively. The study of the culture-specific language competence development principles and approaches has resulted in formulating guidelines for foreign language teachers. For example, language and culture acquisition must happen inseparably; it is essential to employ various authentic texts and exercises, cultivate respect for native and foreign cultures, devote enough time to oral speech skills development. | 5973 | The research material is two short stories by the classic of Soviet literature for children Y. Ya. Yakovlev, united by the theme of the Great Patriotic War: “Where the Battery Stood” (1967) and “Ivan-Willis” (1982). The analysis revealed the artistic features of understanding this topic. The writer combines two plans in space-time poetics (the post-war and the military world being restored in memories), the presence of two generations in the character system is significant – veterans and schoolchildren who were born already in peacetime. Yu. Yakovlev uses various techniques to show the process of starting the work of the memory of the war. In the story “Where the battery stood” these are symbolic images connecting war and peace (poplars destroyed by the Nazis and a school bell resembling the sound of a siren); in “Ivan-Willis” – a car that was perceived by the owner, and then by a teenager as a comrade, colleague, songs and even the weather, evoking memories of military events. In the poetics of short stories, the techniques of psychologism are significant (the use of various syntactic constructions to convey the inner state of a character, portrait characteristics and behavior showing emotions, feelings, thoughts and their dynamics). The stories have a weakly expressed plot level, the emphasis is on the inner life of the characters, on changing their consciousness, on the formation of values. At the center of the ideological content of the stories is the familiarization of post–war generations of schoolchildren with the memory of past events, the formation of post-memory (in M. Hirsch’s terminology) and the joint experience of different generations through dialogue, friendship, and common cause. Yuri Yakovlev defends the importance of the idea of the continuity of time, that modern peaceful life has been achieved at the cost of the efforts of the front-line generation. Therefore, it is important for new generations to realize their responsibility to contemporaries and descendants for preserving historical memory. In the texts of Yu. Yakovlev on the Great Patriotic War comprehends the way of formation of the child’s personality and the formation of his worldview through familiarization with the memory of the tragic past of the Motherland and the people. | 5978 | The ways of conveying metaphors of two directions are analyzed: loneliness – death and loneliness – desert. The conducted research made it possible to reveal the main part of the metaphorical layer of the concept of “loneliness” in the original novel and to identify the features of its formation. Consideration of the transformations used in the transfer of metaphorical content made it possible to reveal the features of this concept in the translation version. The purpose of the article is to analyze the ways of conveying the expression of the metaphorical content of the concept of “loneliness” in the Russian translation of the novel by G. G. Marquez “One Hundred Years of Solitude”, performed by M. I. Bylinkina. The novelty is determined by the fact that in the stated aspect the text of the novel was not considered and the results of the analysis will contribute to a comprehensive, complete study of the novel, including in the aspect of translation studies. The material for the analysis is the original text of the novel by G. G. Marquez in Spanish and the text of his translation by M. I. Bylinkina. Metaphors included in the concept of “loneliness” and methods of their translation into Russian are analyzed. The descriptive method and the method of comparative analysis, the method of metaphorical modeling are used. The statistics of the used translation transformations were revealed: contextual replacement – 15, generalization – 13, specification – 5, replacement of parts of speech – 8, replacement of sentence members – 6, replacement of word forms – 4, literal translation – 3 uses. The translator most often uses the technique of contextual substitution, transforming a metaphor or part of it into a lexeme with a different semantics. The technique of generalization contributes to changing the periphery of the concept, expanding its meaning, which leads to semantic blurriness. Frequent use of the technique of concretization (narrowing of meaning) leads to the conclusion that in translation the image of loneliness is expressed to a lesser extent, due to the choice of lexemes with a less negative connotation and others with a narrower meaning. The desert is characterized through a desert of disappointment and oblivion; deserted streets, deserted ruins, a desert of mirages, a desert of loneliness, love, glory. Death – through mourning, desolation, cessation of communication, unbearable loneliness, oblivion, lack of response, immersion in loneliness, abandonment, melancholy, cyclicality and inseparability of death and loneliness, an endless labyrinth of loneliness, widowhood without death, damnation, isolation. The main provisions of the history of the study of educational texts as a type of text and scientific object in modern humanities are systematized and summarized. The material of the study was special scientific sources of methodological and linguistic orientation, which form the basis of the modern theory of educational text. The research methodology is the complex use of logical (analysis, synthesis, analogy) and theoretical (generalization, systematization, description) general scientific methods. Based on the specifics shown in relation to the interpretation of the educational text from the standpoint of didactic and linguistic approaches, this type of text is defined as an independent unit – a speech work with multifunctionality and a set of textual features that are updated differently in different situations of educational interaction between the teacher and the student. Among the implemented functions, the key functions are communicative and didactic, and the latter has the status of the dominant one. Text features are characterized by a set of ways, forms and means of presentation at the genre, stylistic and discursive text levels. The reason for the polyphony that exists today in the scientific community regarding the definition of the essential content, structural, pragmatic features of an educational text is the impossibility of an unambiguous interpretation of its genre and stylistic nature, discursive implementation space, as well as the existence of multiple interpretations of the cultural and conceptual resources of texts of the analyzed type. At the present stage of development of the humanities, the educational text is an interesting object of scientific research, comprehended as an independent type of text, which has both general text properties and specific ones. The prospects of the research are related to the further expansion of the understanding of the educational text in accordance with the most relevant areas of research in science, in particular, within the framework of the problems of linguoculturology, discourse studies, linguoconceptology and conceptual didactics. Discusses perceptive, cognitive, reflective levels of the process of forming consciousness among children of preschool age. Explains techniques of developing the processes such as solving tasks of significance with an adult (step by step implementation of concrete joint actions that open up personal significance of a particular situation), changing positions when working with the situation (giving the child the function of control, analyzing), expanding the experience related to the process of consciousness development (going outside the familiar situations, which helps to understand boundaries of their own understanding), construction of reality. These methods are presented in 4 stages. During each stage the child achieves a new level of understanding the situation, develops new meanings, new connections, emerges changes in self understanding when changing positions, understanding of self and the situations in changing circumstances. Changing consciousness of the child in accordance with acquired experience helps him to understand circumstances in a new way, understand actions of other participants, own actions and offers constructive way to solve the problem where everyone benefits, which helps his psychological development, maturity. The process of developing consciousness emerges during constructive interaction between an adult and a child. | 5993 | The paper presents the analysis of the pedagogical potential, social family status, and mutual activity of children, their parents and teachers. The results of this analysis allow detecting the methods and the content of non-academic activity related to the formation of personal qualities and expertise of the pupils, and also interaction between the sports club and families. The dynamics of intrafamilial relations and sporting achievements of pupils are described herein. As a result of the club’s activity, the pupils’ motivation increases not only in relation to karate but also participation in competitions, collective and creative activities, and exhibition performances. The parents and the teachers note positive dynamic changes in the intrafamilial relationships, sporting achievements of pupils, motivation to trainings, self-organization, sporting and leisure activities, and harmonization of relations between contemporaries and adults. To study how such symmetries are realised in the quantum theory we consider examples in 2 dimensions where vector-vector duality is replaced by scalar-scalar one. Using a "doubled" formulation, where elds and their momenta are treated on an equal footing and the duality becomes a manifest symmetry of the action (at the expense of Lorentz symmetry), we argue that the corresponding on-shell quantum effective action or S-matrix are duality symmetric as well as Lorentz invariant. | 6000 | Exact methods of relativistic radiation theory have been used to construct indicatrixes of the angular distributions of instantaneous power radiated by an arbitrarily moving relativistic charge. It is assumed that at the moment of emission, the charge path is arbitrarily located relative to the coordinate system. The same technique has been used to study the linear polarization of radiation of an arbitrarily moving particle in the cases of curvature and fan-like radiation.
