Visual search and identification of complex fragmented visual stimulus goes with the decrease of P3 component amplitude. Concentration of attention and identification of simple and complex fragmented images is accompanied by late positive complex (LPC) and N300 component. These data suggest that appearance of late positive complex may have connection to the late identification mechanisms and to the processes of categorization of fragmented stimuli; and N300 component plays the leading part in identification of complex fragmented visual stimuli, and serves as a neurophysiological marker of object selection.

The ichtyofauna of Lake Taimyr includes two forms of the Siberian whitefish Coregonus lavaretuspidschian, a lake species with a higher body shape and a river-lake species with a lower body shape, both as described by Mikhin in 1955. Mikhin found that these forms are not only in Lake Taimyr, but also in its influxes. These species differ in nutrition preferences. The lake whitefish is a bottom-feeder while the river-lake whitefish is a predator. Study of the morphology of these species revealed considerable differences in number of vertebrae and a majority of other plastic indices. Based on body height, length of pectoral fin, and length of the upper jaw, the differences between the two species exceed the subspecies level of Meier's CR criteria chart.

The history of the Edinoverie parish, discovered in the Elanskaya volost of Tyukalinsky district of the Tobolsk province at the beginning of the 20th century, is analyzed. The previously unknown archival documents, stored in the State archives of the Omsk region, revealing features of the inner life of the youngest in Western Siberia Edinoverie Parish. In the historical period under review, its territory was located at the junction of the Tobolsk and Tomsk provinces and dioceses, in the conditions of an ethno-confessional intersection. Relations between Orthodox, cobelievers and old believers are considered. The theoretical significance of studying this problem is important in the conditions of the revival of the Old Believer parishes within the framework of the Russian Orthodox Church. The practical importance of the study is determined by the high interest of Russians and residents of other countries to identify their ancestors, compile genealogical trees and family histories. The main attention in the work is given to the analysis of the metric books of this parish, comparison of the tasks of the existence of the same faith and real practice on the example of particular parish. The facts and conclusions reflected in the article are a part of the work already carried out by the author on the integration of the data of Edinoverie, Orthodox and Jewish registers relating to the territory of the Elanskaya volost.

The authors specify the methodology of system analysis of author’s TV program presenter’s individual media discourse, taking into account understanding of individual media discourse as the representation form of his information field. Author-presenter’s professional speech behavior organizes his individual media discourse, determining the holistic well-known journalist’s image in circumstances of current discursive practice. At the same time specific peculiarities of his informational and media language personality’s idiostyle reflect in television journalists’s individual media discourse. Information field of media person is the space of communication which is organized in the process of different discoursive practices in media communication. The authors consider separately such components of media personality information field as: 1) reputation and authority; 2) citation (publicity, prominence); 3) thesaurus, view of the world and system of values. Authority of TV presenter is strongly correlated with reputation of program. Citation of TV journalist is the main indicator of his effective professional activity. Thesaurus, picture of the world and system of values of TV journalist reflects features of idiostyle of his media personality. This features are directly reflected in the individual media discourse. As the example, the authors analyze some peculiarities of television journalist and author’s TV program “Vesti nedeli” on TV channel “Rossiya 1” presenter D. Kiselev’s language personality information field.

We calculate the explicit expression of the effective potential in а »Ж4 theory at finite temperature in a static universe for arbitrary spacetime dimensions (2dDin R x SD-1 and R x HD-1. The phase structure of a »Ж4 theory is found by observing the minimum of the effective potential with varying temperature and scale factor. All the ring diagrams are resummed for De4 to improve the loop expansion at high temperature. For a conformaily coupled and a minimally coupled scalar field it is shown that temperature and positive curvature suppress the symmetry breaking, while negative curvature enhances it. The conformaily coupled scalar has larger curvature effects than the minimally coupled one.

The description of the present and future trends in language testing begins with a survey of the history of language testing originated from and closely linked with mental and educational tests. Researchers distinguish three historical periods (or rather trends) of language testing in the twentieth century: pre-scientific, psychometric-structuralistic and psycholinguistic-sociolinguistic. Many important national and international language tests are moving to computer based testing, viewed as a more practical alternative to paper-and-pencil testing. The next generation of computer based tests is considered to be computerized adaptive tests. Two significant language assessment products as applications of adaptive testing for large-scale language testing are presented.

One of the first examples of understanding the speech of not-being is considered; logical and ontological problems of “empty” terms reference’s are conceptualized in analytic philosophy. The author offers a critical examination of the interpretation of “empty” singular terms, represented in the works by B. Russell, and evaluate the solution of the problem of “empty” singular terms in the context of his descriptive theory of references.

The article analyzes androghinious theories, proposed by Russian and western thinkers of the end of the XIXth and the beginning of the XXth century and developed at present. It is shown, that the works of some soviet and modern Russian authors (A.M. Kollontaj, Y.B.Ryurikova, G.D.Gacheva, A.E. Chuchina-Rusova) continue the tradition started by Russian religious thinkers concerning the problem of androghinia and love interraction. The Russian thinkers present the doctrine about the male-female human nature as a key to understanding all the rest secrets of being. In the article the thought that androghinia is the basis to overcome the gender asymmetry in social-cultural realitiy. Androghinia is seen not only as a condition of true sexual love. A new chemical-biological method of preventing soil erosion using cryogel in combination with perennial grasses is proposed. The cryogel proved no negative impact on aboriginal soil microflora. On the one hand the cryogel polymer matrix in the soil is strong enough to withstand the effects of erosion but on the other hand it is quite elastic, so it will not hinder plant growth. The seeds germinated through the cryogel layer form a stable green cover. Cryogels are harmless to humans and environmentally friendly.

The article is devoted to the study of trade vocabulary of Middle-Ob frontier regional dialect of the XVII c. as one of the thematic zones of interlingual and intercultural interaction. The hierarchic structure of this thematic group was determined; sources of borrowing and functioning habitat of trade words in Siberian period of Middle-Ob dialect history were found. The lexical material never mentioned in historical dictionaries of other regions was presented and described.
