The productive pedagogic consists of 4 didactic cycles. The content and methods of the creative project activity are based on the principles of the creative studying and psycholinguistics which allow creating new technological ways, which differ from the traditional teaching of English.

Fomin Andrey Gennadyevich, Arkhipova Evgeniya Valeryevna NOMINATIONS IN THE SPHERE OF SOCIAL DISEASES AS A RESULT OF LINGUISTIC AND CULTURAL TRANSFER // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 5 (202). P. 45-52

Introduction. The aim of the article is to identify and describe the main characteristics and variants of the linguistic and cultural transfer of nominations of social diseases. Material and methods. The study material includes nominations related to the sphere of social diseases in the amount of 700 units selected by targeted sampling from bilingual and multilingual medical dictionaries, dictionaries of foreign words, scientific and popular scientific literature and texts of social advertising. For the semantic and etymological analysis of nominations that have undergone linguistic and cultural transfer, the study used the method of comparative typology, to determine the value of the nomination of socially significant diseases the study used the method of historical interpretation. Results and discussion. In this study, linguistic and cultural transfer is considered as transferring or borrowing units of one linguistic culture to another. The transfer may affect not only similar linguistic cultures that have historically conditioned connections, but also cultures belonging to completely different types, which is quite characteristic of the sphere of social diseases. At the same time, units of one linguistic culture undergo a process of not only borrowing, but also penetrating into the host culture, go through all the stages of adaptation in it. Thus, there are 3 main characteristics of the linguistic and cultural transfer of social diseases: the extensiveness of the process of the linguistic and cultural transfer reflecting the quantitative increase in the number of loanwords in the linguistic culture; the intensity of the process of linguistic and cultural transfer, in which there is a qualitative borrowing of units of another linguistic culture; the prevalence of linguistic and cultural transfer, when loanwords are transferred in several linguistic cultures. Conclusion. The main variants of the linguistic and cultural transfer are the transition of lexical units from everyday vocabulary into terminology, eponimization, polysemy and synonymy of nominations in the sphere of social diseases. In addition, the problem of the disorder of nominations in the field of social diseases in different linguistic cultures is quite acute, which can lead to disruptions in the exchange of information at the international level and difficulties in translation.

Kuryanovich Anna Vladimirovna DEVIANT SPEECH BEHAVIOR OF THE USERS OF THE NETWORK COMMUNICATION: FACTORS OF DISCOURSE CONDITIONALITY AND FORMS OF MANIFESTATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 78-86

The problem of deviation as a deviation from the social norm has been significantly studied in psychiatry and sociology. In the case when this kind of behavior is manifested in speech (it is explicated mainly by means of speech units), it can also be designated as deviant. The analysis of factors of discursive conditionality and forms of manifestation of the speech behavior of users of Internet correspondence deviating from social norms is relevant both in terms of compliance with the problems of a number of areas of modern linguistics (in particular, linguoperersonology), аnd from the point of view of the development of practical recommendations concerning interaction with «difficult» people in the space of network interaction. In the list of discourse-forming factors that determine the appearance in Internet communication of different forms of representation of deviant speech behavior (spam, trolling, elfing, cyberbullying, etc.), such features of network interaction are distinguished, аs anonymity, mediation, distance, freedom of self-expression, the difficulty of personal identification of a user and verification of his potential unlawful actions. Real communication prescribes to the individual appropriate behavior, which must be built within existing social norms. Communication in the network turns compliance with norms into a convention, the user is freed from demonstrating socially desirable behavior. Texts received via e-mail and correspondence of users of the social network «Facebook» are used as a research material. The relevance of electronic epistolary texts and their relevance in the field of modern communication is due, on the one hand, to their genre properties (polythematism, clichedness, reproducibility of form, style syncretism, full and polydiscursivnostyu), оn the other, an existing sociohistorical «order». In the case of demonstration by the user of deviant speech behavior, there is a violation of his moral and ethical norms of behavior in society, due to the presence of the sender installation for the implementation of a manipulative scenario, аs a result, electron-epistolary texts can be considered a form mediating manifestations of deviant speech behavior of users within the framework of network correspondence.

Nikolaeva Anastasiya Vladimirovna, Shaykhutdinova Tatyana Nikolaevna ADVERTISING TEXT AS A SOURСE OF CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC INFORMATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 8 (197). P. 9-13

Advertising text in English is considered at the intersection of two paradigms: linguistics and cultural studies. The relevance of the article is due to the ability of the advertising text to broadcast not only information about the product or service (price, parameters, benefits), but also about the way of British life and culture, and therefore it can be used in the process of learning language at the university. For example, the focus of our attention was on advertising texts from the magazine “The People’s Friend” – a magazine which is mainly intended for older women and is broadly traditionalist in outlook. Reading advertising texts contributes to the development of the skills of English language learners to decode, correctly interpret the hidden cultural codes in the text, to formulate their attitude to the information contained in the text and adequately use the acquired knowledge in speech. Analysis of several advertising texts revealed the attitude of the British to aging, wills, charity, burial: 1) elderly people’s life should be comfortable with help of the advertised devices (Stairlift, Easy-Air Bath Lift, safety seat); 2) it’s common to make a will and donate to a charity (leave a gift in your will, including World Cancer Research Fund in your Will, Please remember Battersea Dogs and Cats in your Will); 3) it’s common to take care of one’s burial (to plan your funeral, to pay your funeral, in advance); 4) people may be cremated after their death; some people may wear a locket with ashes typically after a funeral ceremony in memory of their loved ones (The locket opens to reveal a vial that can contain ashes as a memorial).

Popov Gennadiy Nikolaevich, Sheveleva Nataliya Vladimirovna FAMILY VALUES OF MODERN YOUTH (ON THE EXAMPLE OF EXTRAMURAL STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 4 (181). P. 39-44

The main values of life, which were formed throughout human existence, are undergoing significant changes in modern social society. The moral crisis that emerged as a new anti-social phenomenon in the late 20th century, is changing the outlook of the youth, placing material values on priority positions. Spirituality and morality go to a secondary plan. And as a result there is a deformation of the family, birth relations, marriage bonds, child-parent relations are collapsing. Family traditions intended for formation and preservation of the family integrity, are lost. The word “tradition” itself (translated from Latin tratitio as “transfer”) means historically established and passed down from generation to generation customs, norms, laws, orders, rules of conduct. Creating a family, the birth of children are no longer the main foundations of life of modern man. The traditional patriarchal system is replaced by the new formations: single parent family, cohabitation of men and women. Members of such a family will not be able to form a correct representation of the younger generation not only about universal values, including what is dear to everyone: man, homeland, peace, friendship, work, education, culture. They can’t also formulate the concept of “family values”. Family values are something that matters to everyone. Most families identified for themselves the same moral principles of love, loyalty, trust, succession of generations. The family institute loses its significance, and the problem of its preservation must be solved at the state level – to teach the young people to responsibly and consciously treat the fact of creating and preserving the family, reviving and maintaining its value.

The article analyses issues of the English language teaching concerning foreign language mastering and considers the ways to organize listening, ESP reading and develop the skills of writing. The paper focuses the reader’s attention on exercises classification to develop these skills and highlights the main differences in delivering the English language to the students who study linguistic and nonlinguistic subjects. Nowadays it is difficult to overestimate the importance of the English language for the students of nonlinguistic specialties because only if they know English they can communicate with foreign colleagues and share their best practice. The authors stress that it is necessary to use discursive analysis while teaching students of nonlinguistic specialties because it helps to receive the information about nonlinguistic factors. Moreover, teachers have to apply individual and differentiated approach because students of nonlinguistic specialties usually have different level of knowledge. And in this case the entry test can be useful but it is important to remember that entry test is not the best means of estimating students’ English level and it has some deficiencies. At the same time one of the most important thing during working with future translators and teachers of English is home reading which allows to give the information not only about language but also about culture and history.
