During last three decades it has been discussing from different approaches, and such philosophers as Paul M. Churchland, W.Quine and others suggested their alternative solutions of the problem. T.Nigel's conception, disposed towards a materialist approach to the psycho-physiological problem, seems to be the most reasonable theory on the evidence. However more constructive solutions of the psycho-physiological problem have been claimed in philosophical science of this country (D.I.Dubrovskiy's information conception, V.V.Orlov's conception of the physiological nature of mental states and processes, B.I.Bespalov's function-and-structure approach) | 1123

The purposeful using of active technologies in the course of training sessions changes the nature of «subject-subject» relations: the teacher’s authoritarianism is a thing of the past, the student is motivated to develop professional competencies. An analysis of the works of Western European and American academic pedagogues makes it possible to establish that the statement of the competence approach within the humanitarian paradigm of education means in practice the implementation of innovative models of training in higher education. 1244 | This article considers the problem of various conflicts, arising out of contradictions, having various psychological origins. The author distinguishes three main groups of such conflicts: the intrapersonal, interpersonal and intergroup ones. Two main strategies applied in the process of conflict solution are analyzed: «the evening-out strategy* and «the provocation strategy ». Both cannot be recognized as flexible enough and universal, since, as з rule, they are based on certain social and psychological prejudices and stereotypes. The experimental part of the research is aimed at discovering gender distinctions in the social and psychological preferences and stereotypes, concerning the notions of masculinity and femininity, characteristic of students of a pedagogical university. The obtained data show that in the examined sample group the ideology of masculinity is presented by more traditional, typical and rigid notions, while the characteristic of femininity differs much, being more polyhedral, differentiated and dynamic. Probably, changes in the feminine gender stereotype agree with the dynamics of the social and economic changes in Russia more than changes in the masculine one. This can be considered as one of the reasons for men to be characterized by a lower level of social adaptation. | 1119

1248 | The paper presents experimental data on the methane emissions from West Siberian middle taiga oligotrophic hollows. Studied fluxes vary considerably from –0.08 to 58 mgС·m–2·h–1 (median is 2.76 mgС·m–2·h–1). Received data are consolidated in the scope of «standard model» Bc8 conception of methane emission. The model contains medians of CH4 flux distributions on seven different microlandscape types depending on their area and duration of methane emission in the respective zones. The total flux from the middle taiga oligotrophic hollows is 0.37 TgC or approximately 70 % of CH4 total flux from middle taiga mires. Version Bc8 of this model estimates the value of yearly CH4 emission from mires of whole Western Siberia as 2.93 TgC·yr–1 that accounts for around 2.4 % of the total mire methane emission.
