The article deals with the conception of mass and individual consciousness correlation in L.Andreyev's creative work and analyzes the image of the crowd in short stones «it was so» and «The Curse of the Beast*. In his creative work L. Andreyev anticipated the latest discoveries of Western phsychoiogists and sociologists in mutual conditionality of mass and power. The author of the article concludes that the writer's interest in the phenomenon of the crowd indicates actualization of the problem of the normal life arrangement in Russian cultural consciousness at the beginning of the XX-th century.

The paper represents critical notes concerning the paper of K.Y. Reshetnikov and G.S. Starostin «The Structure of Ket Verbal Word-form» in the book «Ket Collection. Linguistics». M., 1995, in which the authors try to build the structure of the Ket verb according to the types of conjugation. Analysing the materials of A. P. Dulson in his book «The Ket Language», Tomsk, 1968, T.A. Kabanova proves the impossibility to interprete the morphemes of the Ket verb unambiguous'v because all of them are polysemantic. The author confirms that by numerous examples. T.A. Kabanova adduces the models proposed by the authors above and analyses them, on the bases of the data represented in the book of A.Р. Dulson. She makes critical notes to some word - forms, to actant system, to the category of time, to the voice and aspect forms in the paper of K.Y. Reshetnikov and G.S. Starostin.

In the article the process of formation of the genre model of an aesthetic manifest – fragment in V.A. Zhukovsky’s works of the 1810s and A.S. The material for supervision was poetic-aesthetic Zhukovsky’s manifests and letters, and Pushkin’s letters of the period of the southern reference. The prospect of full realization of the genre form of the fragment opens in late Pushkin’s works of the 1830-s and Zhukovsky’s of the 1840-s, in the poetic and prosaic works with a genre subtitle «Fragment».

The article examines specific lexical characteristics of television language of science popularization of historical knowledge within the discursive space of TV-program “Namedni” by Leonid Parfenov. In the spotlight there are lexical units belonging to different functional styles of speech: from official business terminology to slang words, which serve, on the one hand, for shocking the audience and emotional prezentation of the channel and the journalist, and, on the other hand, for attraction maximum audience attention. The author of the article focuses on dependence of the language of modern television programs from contemporary market economy, for example the term “raiting”. Every element of this lexical unit was examined in the way of its functions in the journalists’ text.

This article is devoted to the problem of the language and culture connections. In the given article they describe the peculiarities of the interrelation of languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan (in particular, the Kazakh and Russian languages) which leads to forming a special language picture of the bilingual writer’s world (in our article he is Kazakh by nationality). In the work this type of the language picture of the world is called a contaminated language picture of the world, the specifics of which is naturally reflected in the fiction discourse of the writer. The relevance of studying the problem of the oil factor in the policy of the Soviet state is due to the exceptional value of oil strategy of the state during the Soviet period. The study of this phenomenon is presented by the fragmented historical periods, that does not allow to see the continuity of the state policy in relation to oil, the similarity was performed with the help of state tasks. The purpose of this study is to analyze the priorities of the state approaches to oil and its changing role in the implementation, the state solved problems. Among the objectives set by the author is identification of the main factors influencing the strategic approaches to oil. The author comes to the conclusion that the oil factor in the policy of the Soviet state held an especially significant place, the oil was mainly the export of energy resource and the means to achieve geopolitical goals. The main provisions of the state policy, formulated in terms of electrification with respect to oil, remained virtually unchanged during the entire Soviet period. The evidence of this is the prevalence of export of oil products before 1958, and crude oil since 1958. There was also noted the period of reducing the proportion of oilexport in the total exports of the USSR: the decline was seen in the period from 1929 to 1934, and continued until the end of the reign of I. V. Stalin. The highest value of oil exports in the state strategy was in the 1920s. and since the end of the 1950s. In the second half of the XX century oil was in the center of economic competition between the two political systems. Throughout the Soviet period, oil is an important tool for solving problems of strategic importance both within the country and outside it. Changes in approaches to the problems of oil were determined mostly by the foreign policy factors.

Tomberg Olga Vitalyevna MODEL OF RESEARCH INTO AN ARTISTIC IMAGE IN NATIONAL POETIC LINGUOCULTURE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 2 (179). P. 31-36

The article puts forward a model of studying a n artistic image in national poetic linguoculture. The model comprises three levels: сharacter-contextual, linguopoetic and conceptual. Each of the levels offers research into different layers of the image. The first level aims at describing character repertoire of the image, the second level focuses on its linguostylistic characteristics and the third level provides research into its conceptual content. Application of the model contributes to understanding of a literary image as a complex phenomenon – a projection of three semiotic systems: poetics, language and culture. Thus, each of the model layers is characterized by its own methods of research. Contextual analysis is a dominant method of research on the first level. At this stage of analysis major focus is given to constructing contextual setting of the image. Thus, the following structure of integrated imagological context is proposed in the article. Names of characters and their second naming varieties constitute its nuclear zone, speech portraits represent its central zone and a peripheral area comprises narrative portraits. Quantitative and linguostylistic analyses dominate on the second level of imagological research. At this stage the analysis is split in two parts: research into lexical specifics of imagological contexts and its stylistic peculiarities. A conceptual analysis is used on the third level of imagological research and it aims at establishing links and means of connecting the image to national culture through a notion of linguocultural concept.

This paper analyses the problem of improving the methods of teaching and learning programming in university and school. The authors justify the need for new methods and forms of education related to the teamwork of students, multimedia content, and other virtual spaces. The article analyzes the programming of teaching practice in leading foreign universities and proposes the main ways of improving the teaching of programming in Russian schools. The article provides an overview of the educational content of the Internet, which allows us to state that the most wide spread spectrum of creative approaches to teaching programming, as well as high efficiency of teaching are the United States and European universities. Many of the leading Western universities successfully collect and develop methods from other regions of the world: Russia, USA, China, India, Asia and Africa. The authors analyze their own experience in teaching programming and suggest starting the transformation of traditional approaches to teaching programming and methods of teaching computer science in pedagogical universities, hoping that progressive teaching practices from teachers’ universities will spread to the school.

Il’chenko Natalya Mikhaylovna, Marinina Yuliya Anatolyevna THE IMAGE OF VENICE AS A SPACE OF LOVE AND DEATH (BASED ON THE WORKS OF E. T. A. HOFFMANN AND T. MANN) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 6 (195). P. 158-164

The article considers novellas “The Doge and the Dogaressa” by E. T. A. Hoffman and “Death in Venice” by T. Mann as significant works of Venetian context. Motifs that are forming the image of Venice and included in the structure of Venetian myth are represented there. It is demonstrated that German writers in the beginning of XIXth and XXth centuries used motifs that defined the dual nature of image of Venice as the city of love and death: longing, mysteries, affinity of souls, masks, holiday / carnival and others; symbols: water, gondola / gondolier, flowers / trees, their smell and others. Hoffman’s and Mann’s Venice is pictured as an enchanting space. Both novellas begin and finish with the description of death, and love theme is connected there with sickness: love-sickness of Marino Falieri to the beautiful Annunciata and love-sickness of Aschenbach to Tadzio. In the novellas the images of mystery, mask, holiday / carnival and others, symbols of water, gondola / gondolier, flowers / trees, their smell and others are connected with the image of Venice. The image of Venice as a destructive space includes the episodes of an earthquake, plague, cholera. The negative connotation in the description of a sick city on water in T. Mann’s novella is the leading one, unlike in Hofmann’s where greatness and destruction are connected. Within the context of Venice as a decaying city love and death are inseparable, and one of the leading motifs is the motif of impossibility to leave it. The theme of art runs through the narration as a leit-motif in the novellas of German writers: the framing of Hofmann’s novella – a painting by Kolbe – suggests an idea of an amazing mystery of art creation, enabling the artist to penetrate into the essence of what is being depicted; a thought of a great role of the antique art for European culture of the beginning of the XXth century is introduced in T. Mann’s novella. Traditional for German literature motif of longing unites the two novellas as well. This approach makes it possible to imagine literary and art images, specifying peculiar features of Venetian myth’s formation and its connections to the space of Germany within the historical perspective.

962 male and female students of Tomsk State University, aged between 17 and 21, of various physical aptitude and health levels, were interviewed and underwent a psychological survey. The conducted research revealed the role of the conditions of gender socialization in forming professional expectations of the interviewees. St was proved that physical aptitude and health for forming a lifestyle and professional self-determination were more important for male students than for female ones. The conditions of socialization provided by the parents' family and the process of physical education, in which the role of the father is indispensable, play the principal role in forming the physical culture of a personality.

The article discusses the causes and regularities of the personality spiritual crisis development. The problem is extremely important for modern psychology. The paper analyses the structure of a personality in which, from the point of view of the author, it is possible to single out three levels: the material «Ego», the social «Ego», and the spiritual «Ego». The author considers the spiritual «Ego» to be the most integrated part of a personality, which at the age of maturity regulates the entire activity of a personality on a global scale. The formation of this personal structure occurs in the process of overcoming spiritual crises that force the personality to rethink the contents of the meaning of life constantly and reconsider the answer to question «Why do I live?». The author examines the main trends in the spiritual «Ego» - the effusive, transformational and conservative ones, which in most cases define the direction of the development of a spiritual crisis. However, it is the level of vitality that is considered as the base of a personality's spiritual growth. It depends little on a personality and is more likely of a biological origin. In the second part of the article different factors, which can promote or prevent personal spiritual crises, are considered. The classification of these factors is linked by the author with the three main trends presented in the spiritual «Ego» of a personality and with the level of vitality.

In this article we try to give a basis for structure originality of traditional Russian spiritual music in terms of music language understanding as meaning phenomenon for human spirit. This concept is given in contradiction with understanding of the music as language of feelings and emotions and orthodox music moves away from this prevailing assumption. Thereupon aesthetics of spiritual music is characterized by mystical Godhead energy via sensual acoustic phenomena. It also is shown by a variety of musical expressiveness ways which are limited for this kind of aesthetics.

In this article the urgency of the problem related to the study of subjective wellbeing of collectors in the professional sphere is proved. The main results of ascertaining research are presented here. During this research the real conditions of collectors’ work, their subjective perception of these conditions, and also the satisfaction with the professional activity were studied. It was revealed that the better labour conditions were, more often the collectors were not satisfied with them, and their experience of subjective wellbeing in the professional sphere was less expressed.

The article analyzes the methods of representation of gender awareness of the women authors based on the novel by L. Ulitskaya “demonstrates the methods of their detection and systematization. Based on the analysis of different types of imagery and formed in the text of the novel aesthetic integrity makes an attempt to reconstruct the gender-oriented ethical concept of the author. Identified during the analysis techniques are representative of the “feminine” type letters, because they have the appropriate symbolic content. For example, the machismo manifests itself in the motif of the “cast”, “objective”, feminine declares itself by the motive of the special life “order”. Acting in the process of writing as the translators of the consciousness of the authoress, engaged in the search for her own identity and in the expression of her own social preferences, the revealed motifs also represent various gender behaviors. Thus, specifically manifested in the character of correlation of the signifier and signified complexes, male and female elements manifest themselves primarily in different value orientations in relation to reality.
