Malanina V.A. HIERARCHIES AND NETWORKS: COMPARATIVE ADVANTAGES OR DIVERSIFICATION? // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 12 (127). P. 61-64

The paper analyzes the two main approaches to the phenomenon of systems diversity: diversity as defect that must be eliminated by specialization and diversity as a merit, providing systems’ sustainability and flexibility. The size of single-purpose systems is constrained by market size only, a broad specialization objectively prevents the system from being small. It is shown that for any system organizing diversity in networks is more preferred strategy than strict implementing of comparative advantages within the hierarchies.

It is about the visual and natural language communication as two codes that differ based on the absence / presence of the properties of linearity and consistency deployment in space and time and analyzed in relation aspects of their functional and pragmatic properties, as well as the specificity of interaction in various spheres of social and interpersonal communication. Particularly emphasized affecting the function of visual language, high performance implementation of which is achieved due to the availability of a huge perception and interpretive capabilities. To justify the need to study the visual language is important to recognize formulated within the framework of psychological science position on the importance of the visual code of perception, which found ample evidence in practice (eg, in the course of implementation, the techniques of art therapy, receiving visualization work with people belonging to visual personal psycho). Visual (lateral) kind of thinking, secreted by some scientists as a distinct type of appeal to the possibility understanding of information through the creation of non-linear visual images, in some cases, more ductile and moving than words – a linear unit of verbal series. The emergence of visual language as an interdisciplinary concepts and the growing interest in it among scientists from different fields of scientific knowledge is determined by the powerful influence of the modern information environment exerted on the minds of the media / user as a result of the introduction of the everyday life of the latest information and cognitive technologies. Poleva E.A., Velichko O.P. FAIRY-TALE INTERTEXT IN LENA ELTANG′S NOVEL “STONE MAPLES” (PART 1) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 3 (209). P. 53-62

Introduction. The importance of the poetics of intertextuality in the novels of the modernist writer Lena Eltang has been repeatedly emphasized by critics and researchers. The appeal to the intertext increases the semantic density of the narrative, serves to convey the specifics of the consciousness of Eltang characters that exist in parallel in the realities of social relations and culture/texts. Material and methods. Intertextual and motivational analysis based on the works of I. Smirnov, M. Gasparov, B. Gasparov, and I. Paperno was applied. Also, the theoretical basis of the research is the works of folklorists and psychologists devoted to the motivational structure of folklore tales about an orphan girl, the plot of initiation (O. M. Freudenberg, E. N. Eleonskaya, R. Efimkin, etc.). The research material is Lena Eltang’s novel “Stone maples”. The purpose of the work is to identify the semantics and functions of the fairy-tale intertext in Lena Eltang’s modernist novel “Stone maples”. Results and discussion. The analysis of the novel allowed us to establish the correspondence of the plot logic of the novel to the motivational structure of the magic and literary fairy tale illustrating the stages of initiation. But, firstly, unlike a fairy tale, the Eltang novel is a prose of a “stream of consciousness”, focused on the disclosure of the inner world of a person. Secondly, the complex subject organization of the novel text, compared to the fairy tale, allowed Eltang to build allusions to fairy tales of different subtypes (about female and male initiation) in the storylines of different characters. The main character of the novel Sasha Sonley is building an association of his life with a fairy tale. In its storyline, it is important not only to match the archetypal plot, but also to try to change it. Despite individual efforts, the fate of the central heroine is built in accordance with a fabulous invariant about an orphan girl (in which the author’s, supra-personal will is manifested): mother’s death, loss of father’s protection; con frontation to stepmother; rivalry with stepsister; victory of the stepdaughter thanks to a magical means (maternal amulet), which also contributes to the search for the groom. The function of the mother’s talisman in the novel is performed by Travnik – “secret notebook”, which combines the diary and the set of recipes for traditional medicine. It is perceived as a channel of communication with the deceased mother, plays a key role in finding the intended. Conclusion. Despite efforts to “rewrite” the fairy-tale narrative, Sasha is forced to go through the entire archetypal plot of initiation before rebirth, restoration of harmony. In the spirit of modernism, based equally on the achievement of psychoanalysis and cultural archaic model, the plot of initiation of the heroes of the fable is built in accordance with a folk tale, but this outwardly-event outline corresponds to the inner story is psychologically complex living of its late maturity, separation from feelings of guilt towards parents and resentment toward them, parting with the past for the future.

First of all it was expressed in creation of schools for Tatars, including the Jadid’s madrassas, attended by representatives of other peoples. Training was on the books of the Tatar authors – S. Maksudi, R. Fakhrutdinov, H.Zabirov. National schools for the local people were organized under the leadership of the Tatar enlighteners. They participated in preparation of textbooks in the languages of the local people and teaching staff for national schools. The Tatars spreaded Muslim customs and traditions, brought Muslim culture in the steppe. Jadid’s schools opened by tatars have sustained the competition from Russian-native schools because local population trust them more which was connected by a religion community, similarity of language and traditions of Tatars and people of Turkestan. These schools financially were also supported by Tatars. Methodical providing, especially in the first decades of their existence, was carried out by the Kazan teachers. Most capable shakirds (students) of Jadid’s madrassas prepared to enter major madrasas of the Volga-Ural region. Tatar women played a big role in training of women of Turkestan. Under their influence and leadership by the representatives of the local population were opened schools. However, despite the support for the first time, the government feared the influence of the Turkic peoples on each other. Introduction. The issues of communication between the author, the character and the reader in the artistic world of this or that writer remain relevant. The scientific tradition of the study of narratives and the modern literary concepts that complement it (for example, the poetics of personalism) have established that the author is present in his work both narratively and structurally; The author is the creator of the artistic world and at the same time the narrator about it. The author’s subject is manifested through the subject organization of the work, as well as through a storytelling event. Aim and objectives. The aim of the research is to analyze the compositional speech structure of Svetlana Lavrova’s works addressed to a child reader, to consider the category of “author-hero-reader” categories, to establish the connection of the narrative structure with the author’s artistic world and axiology. Materials and research methods. It is revealed that in the artistic world of S. Lavrova various methods of narration and various forms of manifestation of the author’s subject are used: from a personality-neutral narrator to a personalized narrator. The complexity of the subject organization, the multiplicity of points of view in the artistic world of S. Lavrova are designed to create the most complete and accurate picture of reality. The saturation of the works of S. Lavrova with references, allusions, reminiscences to works included in the circle of children’s and youthful reading actualizes the mechanism of the language game and contributes to the formation of communication between the author and the reader. Results and discussion. As a result, it was found that the most important structural principle of the creation of the artistic world of S. Lavrova is the juxtaposition of outof-place things, the coexistence of the real and the fantastic, the rejection of credibility, but the desire for vitality. Emphasizing the conscious formation of the text by the author creates such a type of narration in which the boundaries between the world of the author and the world of characters, as well as between the world of characters and the world of the reader, are mobile and permeable. Metapathing creates the effect of complete creative freedom of the author, causes a feeling of inner unpredictability and contributes to the formation of game poetics. Conclusion. In the works of S. Lavrova, the world surrounding the child is depicted as internally coherent, harmonious, of absolute value, and the involvement of the child reader in it contributes to understanding oneself and one’s place in the world.

Huang X. THE IMAGE OF STALIN IN M. PLISETSKAYA’S LINGUISTIC PICTURE OF THE WORLD // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 1 (213). P. 9-17

Introduction. The linguistic personality is embodied in different linguistic materials, its modeling is based on the analysis of various kinds of texts. The study of linguistic personality in the emotive-evaluative discourse reveals the emotional and value picture of the speaker’s world and his communicative strategies in the emotional and evaluative interpretation of reality. This article presents an analysis of the image of Stalin in the value world picture of M. Plisetskaya, represented in the emotional and evaluative discourse of her memoir. The aim of the work is revealing emotive-evaluative vocabulary in the emotive-evaluative discourse of our linguistic personality and determining the main strategies in presenting negative assessments of Stalin, and reconstructing M. Plisetskaya’s linguistic picture of the world. Material and methods. The linguistic material of this research is the memoir of ballerina Maya Plisetskaya «I, Maya Plisetskaya», as well as other lexicographic sources: Dictionary of Russian language (Small Academic Dictionary, MAS), Explanatory Dictionary of Russian Language, edited by D. N. Ushakov. Methods and techniques used in the work: quantitative analysis of emotive-evaluative vocabulary, contextual, definitional and discourse analyses and the method of cognitive modeling. Results and discussion. I. V. Stalin takes an important place in the character system of M. Plisetskaya’s book. Social Survey shows that the image of Stalin in the minds of Russians has improved over the past 15–20 years, in contrast to this, M. Plisetskaya in her book assesses Stalin purely negatively, the name of the leader is used only in the context of negative emotive vocabulary. Emotive-evaluative vocabulary carries a high degree of expressiveness, reflects the system of values and particularity of the worldview of the linguistic personality. Stalin was evaluated in different ways: political activity, mental state, moral and ethical qualities and appearance. Having identified emotiveevaluative vocabulary in the linguistic personality’s text, we took a comparative analysis with the contextual semantics. During our work, we found that the evaluation of Stalin in most of the cases is realized with the help of negative emotive vocabulary, the vivid expression of which forms the picture of the world of M. Plisetskaya. Conclusion. In the process of describing Stalin, abusive, vernacular words with a strong expressive coloring are often used, expressing contempt, hatred and indignation. The image of Stalin in M. Plisetskaya’s world picture is assessed extremely negatively, the leader is defined as a paranoid, murderer, tyrant and criminal. If we talk about strategies for expressing emotions and evaluations, then negative information is introduced in different ways: direct evaluative speech acts, indirect statements – the phenomenon of evaluative enantiosemia, when the dissonance between the positive dictionary connotation of the lexeme and the negative context of the text is deliberately actualized. Various figures of speech are also used: lively, figurative metaphors, personifications, sarcasm and irony to express hatred and contempt to Stalin.

The purpose of this article is the interpretation of lexical interference as a cause of a violation of the lexical norms of the Russian language in the texts of Chinese signage in Russian. Thus, on all levels of the language system of the Russian and Chinese languages in their interaction in the texts of advertising signs of the border city of Heihe there were observed interlingual, and in some cases intralingual interference, reflecting a typological distinction of the interacting languages. The interference leads to a linguistic mixture of different elements (phonetic, lexical, grammatical) in the texts of advertising signs in the Russian language, which illustrates the «Chinese Russian language». Considering interlanguage and intralanguage interference in the texts of Chinese signage in the Russian language, we are attracted to study both forms of the contact languages explaining interference phenomena introduction as Chinese and Russian. Thus, the phenomenon of lexical interference in texts of advertising signs on the territory of the Chinese border city of Heihe, is largely the result of the interaction of contacting languages (Russian and Chinese), resulting in disturbances of lexical norms of the Russian language in them.
