| 2451 | Children’s creative potential realized most fully if the educational process is carried beyond the scope of traditional training. Content and presentation of teaching material promotes the formation of students’ positive motivation forearning. Positive students’ motivation is created by the variety in the objective educational process through the use of different types of games from business role-plays to simulation. The article presents the results of introduction and adaptation of interactive associative board games into educational process when studying ecological disciplines on the example of the Federal State Educational Institutions of Higher Education “Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University”. With the help of associations it is possible not only to remember the information with the first attempt, but also to keep it in the long-term memory. The proposed variant of the game is built on the basis of the most successful ideas of the famous computer and board games with the addition of some new, original teaching materials. Application of this approach to training significantly stimulated assimilation of a training material, especially the glossary on the set subject. The proven effectiveness of the use of associateive games expressed in the increase of educational motivation of students and consequently in the quality of education. It is revealed through the diagnosis of learning motivation of 125 students of Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University that the communicative motives took the first place 66.9%, the second place 62.7 % - educational and informative ones. Adaptation of the proposed method in the training contributed to the formation of such qualities in students as independence and communication in making and justifying the decisions. | 2452 | Introduction. In the modern novel “The Senility of Vladimir P” a typical image of a “small man” is created and the myth of Russia as a multi-layered system of stereotypes recognizable by the Western recipient is constructed. The purpose of the study is to characterize the stereotypical image of the Russian “small man” in the modern British novel and to determine its functions in the meta-myth of Russia. Material and methods. The methodology of comparative studies, in particular, imagology is used as its the interdisciplinary nature allows one to study the image of the “Other” in the social, cultural and literary consciousness of another country at intertextual, contextual and textual levels upon the concept of stereotypes (according to J. Leerssen). “The Senility of Vladimir P” by M. Honig is a material for research. Results and discussion. Under a scandalous headline, the author offers us a story about life in Russia through the prism of the theme of “small man”. The main character, Nikolay Sheremetyev, is not inclined to reflection until the situation of loss appears and his beloved nephew is arrested. From this moment on, the narrative is gaining momentum, the main character is changing: reality acquires more and more grotesque features, and reader witnesses painful transformation of Sheremetyev, the “small man”, the last honest person in Russia, who makes a deal with his conscience and begins to act within the framework of English-Saxon tradition. The image of the “Other” is presented by Honig precisely from the perspective of the Anglo-Saxon tradition in which all the other characters are actually written out: Russians only by entourage and consistent with the Western stereotype, but infected with Western individualism. The characters of the novel are classified by type depending on the model of behavior and prototype. Conclusion. M. Honig builds a grotesque, absurd image of Russia in the middle of the XXI century. Ethnotype characters act in conditional situations without author pretending to psychologize the image and reveal characters, because they must create the most complete, comprehensive picture of Russian reality, reflect Russian national features as they fit into the British myth of Russia that is familiar to the British. Honig constructs the ethnotype of Russian citizens of the mid-XXIst century from 1) the image of a small man (Nikolai Sheremetyev), traditional for Russian literature; 2) the media image of Russian elite formed mainly by Western media and Russian liberal media; 3) an exaggerated and schematic image of a typical Russian, featured in Western cinema of the late twentieth century. Before us there is a conflict not only of different attitudes, but the opposition of the Russian and English (more broadly Anglo- Saxon) worlds at the cultural and civilizational level. Honig’s novel is an example of secondary actualization, when a fiction text constructed under the influence of the media begins to be perceived as a non-fiction model, becoming a kind of simulacrum of reality. | 2453 | Introduction. The article is devoted to a comparative description of the Russian and Chinese wedding ceremonies as a form of manifestation of national traditional culture. The aspect of material consideration is a comparative linguoculturological aspect, involving the identification of common and different features in the fragments of the national picture of the world associated with the traditional mass idea of Russians and Chinese about weddings, wedding ritual actions, wedding etiquette. This approach is relevant for the modern linguistic paradigm, cognitive-discursive and anthropocentric in nature. The purpose of the article is to identify the invariant and variant features in the ideas about the wedding ceremony, which is typical of the traditional Russian and Chinese folk cultures. Methods and material. The material is linguistic markers of the conceptualization of these representations – verbal and super-word (idiomatic) linguistic units denoting the realities of the wedding ritual. Methodological analysis procedures define as a key method of linguoculturological commentary, which makes it possible to identify thesaurus gaps, fill them (which is extremely important for a bearer of an inauthentic culture and a foreign language) and, taking into account the cultural and historical context, interpret the semantics of linguistic representatives of the nuclear meaning “wedding ceremony”. Results and discussion. It was found that in the Russian and Chinese mass traditional ideas about the wedding ceremony, there are general (invariant, universal for any linguistic culture) and variant (actualized within the framework of a specific linguistic culture, having a discursive (historical, cultural, context-event and communicative-situational) conditionality) features... The universal semantic signs in the interpretation of the wedding ceremony among the Russian and Chinese ethnoses are universal human significant axiological meanings: a wedding is the result and proof of the love of a man and a woman, their desire to live together, trusting and helping each other. The connotative component of universal meanings is positive, approving. Variant meanings and their representation in a particular linguoculture are characterized by the specifics of their content. In particular, it has been proven that the etiquette component is significant for the interpretation of the wedding ceremony in the Russian and Chinese ethnic groups. The set of moral and ethical rules that have existed for a long time in society also determines the understanding of ritualized actions, which include the wedding ceremony. So, in relation to Russian culture, the desire to seal the bonds of marriage “in heaven”, having secured the blessing of the church, is noted as a feature of originality. In Chinese traditional culture, the presence of the motive of worship is emphasized as a thread connecting all the stages and structural components of the wedding ceremony. In both linguocultures, the family, clan, and elders are revered. | 2469 | The article provides a typology of borrowed Gallic words within the contemporary literary German language based on a grid of criteria allowing a most holistic description of the symptomatic phenomena inside the borrowed Gallic stratum: 1) on the lexical-semantic criterion, 2) on the assimilation specificity, 3) on the way of borrowing, 4) on the method of derivation and 5) composition. For the first time such typological phenomena as re-borrowing, reverse borrowing and formal-structural accommodation, as well as former pseudo-Francization, are interpreted. Typology refers to the structural-systematic features of the studied lexical stratum. The selection of types of borrowed Gallicisms in the modern German literary language involves a number of theoretical and methodological difficulties. This is due to the volatility of the proposed taxonomic criteria, on the one hand, and difficulties in determining the status of borrowing, in particular, in the matter of delimiting it from the concept of a “foreign language”, on the other. The typology of Gallic borrowings functioning within the German literary idiom is of great importance for synchronous codification practices and general lexicography. Appeal to the issues of assimilation (adaptation) of this vocabulary segment of the German literary idiom is inevitable due to the multidimensionality and multilevel processes of integrating the Gallic heritage into the system of the German literary language. The historical unevenness of assimilation determines the existence of only synchronous taxonomic set that testifiesto the dynamism of the studied processes in the canvas of the historical development of the German literary language. | 2470 | New possibilities of the method of sigma deviations allowing to study individual features of a person’s physical development are presented. Any person can easily get 23 anthropometric indicators, compare them with the arithmetic mean and the mean square deviation of this indicator, obtained for the corresponding age-and-sex group, and obtain an individual set of sigma deviations of all these indicators. Combining the obtained indices into certain groups, one can analyze the presence of different proportions in the human body (proportionality of bone length, bone thickness, proportion between upper and lower body parts, proportion of development of the thorax, for women - the proportion of development of the breast, the ratio of length of legs and height, the harmony of the development of muscles, the uniformity of fat deposition in the subcutaneous fatty tissue). At the next stage of the study, analyzing the individual set of sigma deviations, an individual comparison standard is selected for each person, with which all 23 indicators are compared. All indicators that differ from this standard by more than one are recognized as deviations from the individual standard. The observed deviations are conditionally subdivided into «advantages» and «shortcomings» of the physique.
