| 3070 | The article discusses the characteristics of cognitive mechanisms of semantic transformations in phraseological units (FU): literal interpretation, dual actualization and reinterpretation. The author analyses the particular examples of semantic transformations in FU found in the letters. The article explores general principles in functioning of cognitive mechanisms of semantic transformations in FU and their distinctive features. In the analysis of the contextual use of transformed phraseological units there are used the data of extra-linguistic category contained in the comments to letters, reference literature. The author believes that literal interpretation of FU is provided by the associative relationship with the component composition of each of FU. If cognitive mechanisms ensuring this technique does not work, it does not affect the decoding of meaning. During dual actualization lexical meanings of components of FU and phraseological meanings operate simultaneously, layering. The author focuses on the “dual” meaning of such units, achievable by this technique, and relies on the effect of this semantic technique. If the mechanism fails, some part of the coded by this method information becomes lost for recipient. Reinterpretation gives FU an occasional sense. The author of the article proves that encoding can be successful if the semantic content of FU is explained by means of surrounding context. | 3085 | Shelomok II belongs to the circle of monuments of the Scythian-Siberian world and dates back to the 5th–4th centuries BC. Shelomok II is located 10 km south of Tomsk, on the right bank of the Tom River, on a low ridge of 15–40 m wide and 12–15 m high from the water’s edge. The settlement was discovered by G. V. Trukhin in 1959. In 1971, the monument was examined by L. M. Pletneva. L. M. Pletneva also conducted excavations in 1972, 1973, 1975, 1976, 2001 and 2002. The collections are stored in the TSU Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of Siberia and in the Seversk Museum. The total excavated area is 1024 square meters. Nine of 19 sites were excavated there. Findings associated with bronze casting, including bronze ingots and droplets, fragments of ladles, casting moulds and a vessel with the presence of metal on its walls, as well as fire pits with the same objects are all evidence of local casting. Horizontal stratigraphy of these findings made it possible to identify production facilities: buildings No. 10 and 11, as well as two fire pits with the same findings in the cultural layer of the settlement. Bronze objects were found in dwellings, workshops and a building of worship. However, only some of the bronze objects were made in this settlement. The rest of the objects found in settlements of the Tomsk Ob River, including Shelomok II, come from the Minusinsk Depression, the Altai, Central Asia, and other regions. | 3086 | Speech as a multidimensional phenomenon still remains relevant in linguistics studies. It is known that verbal communication evolved later than non-verbal one, however, a multimodal approach to language communication modeling based on spontaneous dialogues is only gaining momentum in Russian linguistics studies. The aim of the article is to provide data on principles of verbal and non-verbal correlation at times of difficulty during the development of spoken discourse between two speakers, as well as to systematize them in the most frequent multimodal patterns. The material of the article is 16 video clips of spontaneous dialogues of Russian native speakers, the total timing is 1.5 hours. The annotated video materials are students’ spontaneous dialogic discourse. The topics of dialogues can be divided into two groups – communication between friends/colleagues and communication between the client and service staff. Each video clip is annotated in ELAN v.6.2. The presented results are based on general linguistic methods of description and comparison, as well as a method of analyzing a cognitive event. Analyzing cognitive events and providing statistics on the subject, we describe the main multimodal patterns, which have been classified by the frequent nature of some speech disfluencies and non-verbal response to them. Our study is based on the gestural repetition concept. As a result, the most common speech disfluencies have been identified and divided into five large blocks. Each of the blocks is accompanied by the main multimodal patterns, implemented in different channels – manual channel, gaze channel and cephalic channel. The number of speech disfluencies recorded at the external level directly depends on the topic and not always on the level of competence of the speakers, since all dialogues are improvised by students who only have presuppositions regarding the deployment of discourse depending on the given role. Speech disfluencies and the principles of their compensation in different multimodal channels depend on both internal (cognitive) and external factors (overlapping and interruptions), which represent an interpenetrating indivisible system. It is shown that the polarization effects of twisted and untwisted fermions in QED are equivalent, once the corresponding stable vacuum solution of each fermion class is taken into account. The photon propagation in QED is found to be anisotropic and characterized by several massive photon modes and a superluminal transverse mode. At small compactification radius the masses of the massive modes increase as the inverse of the radius, while the massless photon mode has a superluminal velocity that increases logarithmically with that distance. At low energies the photon masses lead to an effective confinement of the gauge fields into a (2+i)-dimensional manifold transverse to the compactified direction. In the gauged-NJL model, it is shown that for both twisted and untwisted fermions, the smaller the compactification radius, the larger the critical four-fermion coupling needed to generate a fermion-antifermion chiral symmetry breaking condensate. | 1951 | |||||
