| 3106 | The article deals with the formation of Rokossovsky's identity that occurred through identifications with significant others (primarily with parents and ordinary hardworking people during his biographical experiences, and also with «the characters of his favourite books» as they are perceived). These others may be divided into benign such that Konstantin aspired to their characteristics, values and beliefs (a process of idealistic-identification), or malign when he wished to dissociate from their characteristics. The article shows that Rokossovsky’s identity is formed predominantly by a choice of certain characteristics. The construction of an individual sense of self is achieved by personal choices regarding who and what to associate with. Rokossovsky’s identity is defined as the totality of his self-construal, in which he expresses the continuity between how the charismatic people were in the past and how Rokossovsky construes himself as he aspires to be in the future. | 3108 | Inroduction. Despite numerous publications on the early reception of F.M. Dostoevsky’s work in Great Britain, the scientific literature covers some important facts for understanding the peculiarities of the phenomenon only partially. Among them are the critical responses of the English writer Arnold Bennett pre-echoing the “Dostoevsky cult” in Great Britain. The aim is to elicit the peculiarities of Dostoevsky’s work reception by Bennett in 1910s and to identify the role of the latter in forming the tendencies of the writer’s legacy apprehension in the English culture. Material and methods. Material of the research includes three Bennett’s articles about Dostoevsky, published in The New Age weekly in 1910–1911. The methods comprise cultural-historical, literal-historical and comparative analysis. Results and discussion. In general, A. Bennett in his interpretation of Dostoevsky’s work follows the line of his predecessors. For example, he regards the form of the author’s works as a drawback; while his younger contemporaries will discover its novelty and meaning-making function in the text. Herewith, he rethinks some aspects of the traditional interpretation and calls The Karamazov Brothers, previously underestimated by the critics, an outstanding work. Bennett is not prepared for the deep understanding of the Dostoevsky’s work, but his interest in the author’s legacy, persistent urge to publish the translations play important role in popularizing his books in Great Britain. As a result, Dostoevsky’s novels become a matter of discussions among the young English writers and become available for the common readers. Conclusion. Bennet’s articles about the Russian author make a representative material in terms of learning the critic’s personal reception and in terms of identifying the typical features of the reception of 1910s. | 3109 | The active cooperation of countries in various spheres of life leads to a constant demand for the translation of normative documents, including international treaties regulating the procedure for interaction of the countries. An international agreement is a legal document and refers to the official business style, the features of which are accuracy, clarity, and lack of ambiguity. A characteristic feature of the style in English is the large number of modal verbs having several meanings that sometimes cannot be expressed by modal verbs in Russian. The translator faces the difficult task of choosing translation units suitable for adequate translation of the meaning of the modal verb. The aim of the study is to determine the ways of translating modal verbs from English into Russian in legal texts through identifying the factors by which the translator can determine the meaning of a modal verb in a specific context and correlating them with the adequate variants of translation into Russian. The research is based on an international treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Indonesia in the law enforcement sphere using such methods of linguistic analysis as descriptive, comparative, and quantitative. The most frequent modal verb in English treaties is shall; may is in second place; other modal verbs are found, but extremely rare. Modal verbs are translated into Russian by: a verb in the present tense; a verb “может”; a contracted form of an adjective “должен”; an adverb “необходимо”. When translating modal verbs into Russian, it is necessary to take into account many factors: the requirements of the functional style of speech; shades of the meanings of modal verbs and their function in the sentence; the context specifying the meaning of the modal verb; the norms of the translation language. | 3123 | The author deals with the cognitive basis of the creative processes which underlie the text formation. The subject matter of the study is the creativity of the literary text. While defining the cognitive parameters which contribute to the formation of the creative nature of the literary text, the author grounds the hypothesis about the creative text as the artful deviation from the automatized conventionality on the structural, communicative, conceptual, and semiotic levels of the literary text. The results of the study demonstrate the multilayered organization of the creative text which is formed by the cognitive processes. Among the processes are the associative connections of the chunks of knowledge, their analogical mapping, ambiguity of meaning, conceptual integration and foregrounding. These processes are viewed as the key processes in the cognitive model of the literary text which form structural, semantic and symbolic transformations that refer to the existing literary archetypes. The text is considered to be creative if the author purposefully foregrounds the semiotic level of the text and transforms it. The semiotic transformation entails the transformation of the elements of the other levels of the text. The usage of the highly frequent lexemes and structural repetitions contribute to the formation of the novel processes of the aesthetics of suspense. The purpose of the article is proving the expediency of necessity of a qualitative change in the management system of educational organizations, in particular, the possibility of applying the matrix approach, in order to organize effective interaction in the teaching staff. Material and methods. The research materials were the results of the psychological and pedagogical findings of national and foreign scientists (A. V. Afonina, A. A. Bodalev, Ya. L. Kolominsky, V. A. Malikova, A. Kh. Maslow, A. B. Orlova), and the experimental work, which was carried out by employees and students of Master’s program of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University from 2017 to 2019. These data allowed studying the peculiarities and dynamics of the secondary school teachers’ interaction, due to qualitative changes in the management system. Results and discussion. The main goal of the state educational policy is to improve the quality of education, and the organization of effective interaction in the teaching staff is a progressive means for achieving it. However, the phenomenon of synergetic interaction, possessing the potential for qualitative growth of teams, has not been fully studied in the field of education. Moreover, practice shows that modern teachers prefer the creation of personal educational spaces. There is an extremely low level of teachers’ group and teamwork at school, and the problem of building effective interaction between pedagogues is one of the key. Responsibility for the functioning and development of productive labor relations lies with the administrative stuff, and there is a lot of regulatory methods for organizing effective interaction. Professional educational activity is based on the main principles of harmonious management in any industry. There are four the most important management functions. They are planning, organization, motivation and control. The criteria for effective interaction, according to the research of A. V. Afonina, are mutual cognition, mutual understanding, relationships, mutually defined actions and mutual influence. Using the data of these equal organizational units in the managerial structure on a parity basis (a matrix approach) is an effective way for organizing of teachers’ effective interaction. This idea was proved by the results of the experiment, which had been conducted in one of the Arkhangelsk secondary schools. Conclusion. Matrix-structured management has a positive potential for building and implementing of teachers’ effective interaction. Moreover, in conformity with the educational environment, it is an innovatively oriented organizational management system. | 3137 | The article examines the paradigms of antonymous type with the aim of identifying their individual characteristics and relation to the thematic areas of the poetic picture of the author’s world. Antonymous paradigms are considered from the point of view of their differentiation into verbal and ultra verbal, usual and not usual, complete and incomplete. Presents thematic classification of textual paradigms of antonymous type. Examines the role of their representation of the author’s poetic picture of the world. The research is done in the trend of communicative stylistics of the text and includes analysis of the material of the early lyrics by Tsvetaeva from 1909 to 1919. 343 verses and 32 cycles were analyzed in the article, and 416 textual paradigms of antonymous type were revealed. It was determined that a “Person” as a personality, his relations with other people and with society, and with a whole world are in the center of poetic world by Marina Ivanovna Tsvetaeva. As a rule, this “Person” is a poetic “Ego” of the author. Youthful maximalism and the world perception connected with it, M. Tsvetaeva carried for the rest of her life. It is proved on the example of the textual paradigms of antonymous type and connected with them fields of the author’s concept sphere that a contrast turned into the one measure of visual environment, relations with other people, evaluation of the other people’s and her own personality. | 3138 | This paper examines the issues of forming a qualitative assessment of educational activities in the system of additional professional education of civil servants. The main principles for assessing the quality of educational activity are revealed. The article states that the scientific understanding of estimating the quality of educational services in the sphere of the additional professional training does not yet meet the real needs in practice. The results of the study, which determines the need for additional professional education for civil servants in management, are presented. The relationship between the need for additional training and personal attitude to the school has been established. The productivity and effectiveness of the organizational and educational conditions required for the effective implementation and developing the quality assessment model for educational activities in the system of additional professional education for state civil employees are determined. The structural and functional model for the quality assessment of educational services with the participation of consumers is suggested. According to this model selfexamination, introspection and external expertise (reflection, research, design of the educational environment) become the leading methods of the assessment. Thus, the position of the teacher changes. The teacher becomes an expert both in relation to his activity and in relation to the activity of the student, who is also placed in the position of an expert regarding his pedagogical activity and achievements in working with students. | 3149 | The article discusses the features of the political development of the Tuvan People’s Republic in the 1920s–1930s, associated with both lack of experience of the independent existence of the state in previous periods of its development and great influence of the USSR on all aspects of life of the Tuvan society. The last circumstance led to the adoption of a one-party political system headed by the Tuvan people’s revolutionary party, formed almost simultaneously with TPR in 1922. The young Republic at the same time gained experience in both state and party organization. Considering the total illiteracy in the 1920s, the former ruling elite continued to take the leading positions in the state. Active intervention of the Soviet Russia in the internal political situation of the TPR in the late 1920’s led to the coming to power of the “lefts”, that began a radical socialist transformation, and proclaimed a non-capitalist way of the development of the country. A political system, similar to the USSR, is gradually being approved in Tuva. The scientific importance of the study is determined by the fact that its results and the conclusion deepen and widen the existing information in the national historiography on the historical experience of the state-organization in the years of the TPR, moreover, they reveal the features of its political development both in the time under consideration and in the present time. | 3150 | The article discusses the establishment of students’ graduation projects based on real industry tasks in the Far Eastern State Transport University (former Khabarovsk State Railway University) as a progressive form of students’ scientific research at the end of the 50–80-ies of XX century. At first real-life graduation projects were introduced into educational process at the chair of “Railway operation” in 1958. The article presents a list of important students graduation projects of 1958–1960 completed for the Far Eastern Railway and the city of Khabarovsk. In addition, the stages of students’ the thesis design are analyzed, starting from information gathering to the presentation of projects to the examination committee. Also, the characteristics of real-life graduation projects are discussed such as the passthrough design (real and meaningful tasks of the industry were selected in the third year of the study, allowing students to do research in the format of coursework), group projects (the projects that require complex calculations were entrusted to a group of students), the use of computers for accurate design calculations. The author proves that students’ real-life projects were the most time-consuming form of research work as they were executed on the basis of real data; they were relevant, responsive and reliable and solved the tasks of the Far Eastern Railway and industries; they allowed students to be actively involved in the projects of industries, to adapt faster at the future workplace and have better career prospects.
