| 3154 | Sacral and ordinary components of fire in the linguistic worldview of Selkups are specified and described. In mythoepic perception fire connects the Upper, Middle and Lower worlds. Important status of fire is represented by big amount of restrictions and rules which violation is followed by negative consequences not only for one person but for the whole generation. In Selkup lexical unit tǖ ‘fire’ relates to animate nouns, and fire itself is perceived by Selkup as a living organism. As any other living organisms, fire is born, lives and dies. As a moment of birth of fire shall be considered a moment of its kindling – innä cotyqo ‘to kindle’. To support its life fire needs a feed – wood (tǖj apsot). The process of burning is to be considered as a continuous repast of fire: tǖ awēšpįgu ‘to burn’, literally tǖ ‘fire’, awēšpįgu ‘to eat’. Life cycle is finished by “death” of fire – extinction: illä qapteǯegu ‘to extinct’. Fire is given with vivific power and ability to wake the dead. In folk literature and Selkup mythology fire is personified with the figure of Lady of fire (tǖn amba). Requirements΄ increasing to the translation skills mastering level by students of linguistic specialties determines the need for relevant knowledge actualization. This applies to both the translation general theory and certain specialized issues. The theoretical significance of the research is that the work presents a new approach to reading role understanding in translation activities. The read text-original meaning understanding mechanisms and the secondary text content formation by foreign language means from the translation process positions are presented. The foreign-language texts comprehension process occurs in a linguistic framework through the thematic words, conditional endo-lexis, asymmetry, emotional-evaluative components selection. Also, when reading, it is proposed to use strategies such as implicit information decoding, text information explicating, lexical and syntactic selection, forecasting. The proper implementation of these strategies further influences the harmonization of the original text meanings and the translation. From the properly organized foreign-language text reading process depends on the strategy choice for text translating, whether it is a translation note, paraphrase, interpolation. The research results can be used to develop understanding effectiveness increasing methods in written texts translating and translation theory courses. For development and support of the native language in our Republic extensive work is being done in the field of bilingual education. The concept of bilingual education involves interrelated activities of teachers and students, aimed at the study of the subject means of native and non-native languages, which is achieved by mastering subject content, the development of speech and thinking, and the formation of balanced bilingualism in which students acquire languages in the same degree. The article addresses the issues of language education in terms of functioning of the two state languages (on the example of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)). Against the background of introduction of Federal state educational standard, the educational environment of the Republic is developing dynamically, based on the scientific research modern teaching materials, manuals, reference materials are being developed. It is known that the native language plays a special role, since it is the basis for the formation and development of thinking, intellectual and creative abilities, as well as socialization of personality and introducing it to culture. Therefore, this article describes features of formation of students’ linguistic concepts in teaching to the native language. Describes the monitoring study in 5–9th forms of the Yakut schools, a brief analysis of textbooks in the native language in the primary school. | 3171 | The following article studies phonetic and prosodic changes in mother’s speech. We consider that the situation of awaking a child preconditions these changes. We propose the role of a mother as socially relevant. Mother’s speech is an informational key to the system of a native language. Basing on Russian and the French language, we analyze qualitative and quantitative changes in consonants and vowels in lexical units of different parts of speech, as well as changes in tone and rate of mother’s utterances. We take into account such phonetic phenomena as longitude of a sound, palatalization of consonants, changes of values in tone. The changes of values in tone are illustrated by graphs. The material for analysis includes audio and video of recorded talk between mothers and their children (age from 0 to 10 months). The participants were divided into two groups: 1) Russian-speaking dyad “mother-child” (5 participants); 2) French-speaking dyad “mother-child” (4 participants). To undertake the analysis we applied computer software package for the scientific analysis of speech in phonetics called PRAAT. Resulting in setting minimal and maximal values in tone of analyzed utterances, correlation of longitude of a sound with tone and pragmatic meaning we conclude that these features of mother’s speech are universal for the situation of awaking a child. | 3172 | The article deals with basic periods of formation and development of communicative stylistics of text, which has been growing at the Tomsk State Pedagogical University since 1992 at the department of modern Russian and stylistics (from the end of 2017 the department of the Russian language). Peculiarities of this scientific school and factors that defined its dynamics in scientific context of linguistics at the end of XX – beginning of XXI century are described in the article. In the light of the ideas of the communicative paradigm of linguistic knowledge, in the nineties and early 2000s, the achievements of related sciences are formed that fall under the traditional and functional stylistics, functional lexicology and the theory of the communicative text: the main directions of the communicative stylistics of the text: on the verge of linguistic pragmatics – the regulative theory, on the verge of psycholinguistics – theory of text associations, on the verge of philological hermeneutics – the theory of semantic expansion of the text. Each of these areas of communicative stylistics is aimed at researching the effectiveness of dialogue between the author and the reader with the use of text. The main is the systemic and active approach to the text as a form of communication and the phenomenon of idiostyle of the language personality, which is “left” outside the text. Ideas of communicative and active approach to the text, which are realized in works of this trend, were called for the methods of teaching the Russian language. The basic periods of communicative stylistics of text development are due to new tendencies in language and speech research, connected to extension of units of analysis and to intensification of cognitive and discursive aspects of textual activity, expansion of empirical base of researches, that includes at the beginning of XXI century poetic, advertising, epistolary, media discourses. Cognitive and media vector of development is typical for modern communicative stylistics of text. It is obvious that there is the necessity of further expansion of empirical material associated with genre and style variety of up-to-date media communication, elaboration of typology of informational and media language personalities, research of cognitive aspects of their idiostyle as well as perfection of methods of different types of texts’ analysis in perspective. | 3173 | The article is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the publication of the first edition of A. M. Volkov’s fairy tale “The Wizard of the Emerald City” (1939). The work uses for the first time the handwritten collection of the children’s writer A.M. Volkov, stored at Tomsk State Pedagogical University. Manuscripts allow one to penetrate into the writer’s workshop, to trace the formation and development of an idea and the course of the creative process. A comparison of the structure of chapters in the 1936 manuscript and the 1939 edition made it possible to identify changes made to the composition (deletion, introduction of new ones, merging chapters). In addition, the article provides fragments of manuscripts from 1936, with which A. Volkov planned to supplement the text, but did not include them in the printed version of 1939. Analysis of the drafts gave an idea of A. Volkov’s work with character names. It was important for the writer to find equivalents to the names in F. Baum’s fairy tale, so that they would be understandable to the Russian-speaking reader and optimally reveal the character’s image. The writer worked on the largest number of name options for Scarecrow. Of particular interest is the manuscript of fragments of A. M. Volkov’s play “Flight to Fairyland” based on “The Wizard of the Emerald City”. The manuscript is introduced into scientific circulation for the first time and commented on. The diary entries of A. Volkov and the unusual image of Goodwin in fragments of the play (a black slave Uncle Joe who escaped from an exploiter) indicate that the writer tried to submit to circumstances, adapt to the requirements of censorship, inscribing a fairy tale plot into the traditions of social literature of the late 19th – first half XX century. However, the incompleteness of the play’s concept can be explained by both external (the onset of the “thaw”) and internal (unwillingness to obey the political situation) reasons. The aim of this study was to investigate the parameters of endogenous intoxication in the serum of patients with schizophrenia during the longterm antipsychotic therapy. | 3197 | This article is a part of a larger study on the Siberian modern hagiographic literature for children and adolescents. The study of religious and literary texts of hagiographic character of the Siberian Holy righteous elder Theodore of Tomsk in this article is carried out in the aspect of receptive aesthetics. The first part of the article is devoted to the study of “horizon of expectations” of the young readers of contemporary hagiographic literature. To do this, an experiment was conducted with a written survey of adolescents of secondary and Sunday schools of Tomsk to ascertain the sociology of their reader taste and competence. In the course of the experiment, the students answered the questions of the questionnaire, which allowed to identify the current and potential reader of the hagiographic literature with the existing ideas about the cultural concept of holiness, as well as clarify the attitude of the respondents to the hagiographic literature. The second part of the article presents the results of a study of the reception by children of adolescent age of children’s life-related works about the Siberian saint. | 3198 | The issue of training cadets of military higher educational institutions for the Olympiad in Informatics is under consideration. The nominations of the Olympiad are described and the methodical aspects of training cadets for one of the topics of the first round are described in detail – the use of the MS Word application in solving military-applied problems. Based on the analysis of the Olympiad assignments on computer science of the past years, a classification of tasks has been performed on this topic. The following types of tasks are identified: working with text; work with objects that are not text; execution of the document; automation of mailing; creation of macros and electronic forms. The method of teaching the solution of the selected types of Olympiad problems is described with the help of a set of different levels of difficulty in the exercises. Each subsequent exercise should either be based on the previous one, or repeat the sequence of actions formed in the previous tasks, which allows you to consolidate the result of the previous work. At the same time, in each subsequent exercise, a new action (or several actions united by one group of teams) must necessarily be added, which accentuates the attention of the cadet, thereby contributing to a more meaningful assimilation. Expansion and gradual complication of the set of exercises or the creation of a new sequence of similar tasks allows you to gradually master all the necessary material. A generalization of methodological provisions is made on the basis of which the method of preparing cadets for the speech at the Olympiad in the first round is proposed: it is necessary first to classify tasks for each topic of the tour, then to develop a set of exercises that form the cadet’s free operation with the actions necessary to solve problems of each type. | 3200 | The article analyses a possibility to use the stem-building suffix -ein- in the function of the definite article in the gothic language. This suffix is based on the Indo-European pronominal root that used to have a demonstrative meaning (Jener-Deixis). Further use of the suffix -n- as a marker of relation to something resulted in its development into a marker of a constant, typical feature of a thing or a being that made them definite. The meaning of definiteness expressed by the suffix is revealed if one compares the use of abstract nouns derived from the same root and belonging to different declension types in the gothic language. | 1649 | |||||
