| 5006 | The aim of this work is to discuss some specifics of translating Czech children poetry to the Russian language. For the analysis were chosen the poem called “První pohádka (Princeznička na bále)” (The First Fairy Tale; Princess at the Ball), written by well-known Czech poet Frantisek Hrubin, and its translation “Принцесса кораллы свои потеряла” (The Princess Who Lost Her Beads) by Mikhail Landman. The analysis exposed the specifics of the translation such as: more phraseological and idiomatic expressions than in the original poem and more developed and concrete description of the places and characters. More specific descriptions of the places could lead to activation of imagination in child mind. The increase of phraseological and idiomatic expressions is justified by the adaptation of the Czech poem into the structure of traditional Russian national literature. The name of the Czech protagonist “Honzik” corresponding to the Russian Ivanushka-Durachok and the basic ironic modality of the poem were not altered in the translation. The translator may have left the original names for one of two reasons: either to avoid the necessity of changing the names of other characters, leading to a monolingual structure of the translation, or to create an opportunity for the Czech names to obtain new associations of their own in the Russian language. The ironic undertone of the poem’s finale is kept in the translation but it is presented by different means. Keywords: Czech-Russian literature connections, children’s poetry, literary translation, F. Hrubin, M. Landman | 1855 | |||||
| 5007 | Introduction. Communication skills are recognized as one of the most important elements in the education of a modern engineer. | 5018 | The process of modeling the system of continuous pedagogical education, its description at the pre-university (propaedeutic) level is shown. The project of this model with an emphasis on the use of such modern pedagogical technology as a professional test is presented. The pedagogical, diagnostic, orientation and acmeological potential of this technology is revealed. On the basis of the analysis of the theory and practice of pre-professional training of high school students to teaching identified the possibility of its integration into the content of the pedagogical classes. The experience of implementation of the model and analysis of its effectiveness in the practice of pedagogical classes (on the example of a joint project of the Federal state educational institution of higher education “Tomsk State Pedagogical University and municipal autonomous educational institution «secondary school №30 of Tomsk» «Socio-pedagogical class»). According to the results of the initial testing of the proposed model, the author formulated a number of conclusions: the importance of compliance with the principle of free professional self-determination of high school students, and therefore, the system should be very flexible and allow to build an individual route of professional development for each student; the effectiveness of the model largely depends on the structure of mechanisms of interaction of organizations-stakeholders (teacher training colleges and universities, schools, institutions of additional education of children, etc.) and all stakeholders. Taking into account these conclusions, the author identifies the need to adjust and refine the model proposed by him, and also outlines the prospects for further research on this topic in the context of building a system at the levels of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies. | 5019 | The year of 2019 is the anniversary of two writers of different eras – A. S. Pushkin (1799–1837) and V. V. Nabokov (1899–1977). This study did not initially include the goal of identifying the “bringing together “of two writers, but an analysis of the wind motive led to results that broadened the ideas about the creative dialogue between Nabokov and Pushkin already established in literature. The aim of the work is to analyse the wind / storm motive in V. Nabokov’s novel “Otchayaniye” (Despair) in relation to cultural tradition. Material and methods. Motive and intertextual analysis based on the work of B. Gasparov, I. Silantyev. For understanding of the functionality and archetypical semantics of the wind / storm motive, the studies of K. Nagina and E. Nikanorova are significant; among the research work on Nabokov, the baseline for this study is, firstly, the article by A. Dolinina, who described the principles of using V. Nabokov to use Pushkin’s intertext in the novel “Otchayaniye” (Despair). Results and discussion. When analyzing “Otchayaniye” (Despair), it was considered that the narrative motive is often implemented in conjunction with an anonymous motive, therefore the focus of research attention was not only the wind motive / storm motive, but also windcalm. It was revealed that the wind motive in the novel is polysemantic and “works” to reveal the main themes and problems in the novel, “involved” in the design of the author’s concept of the work. It is associated primarily with moral and ethical issues: the definition of boundaries and the essence of free will, crime and punishment. It was found that the motive functionally considered in the novel correlates with the archetypal image of the storm, which traditionally embodies above the personal will and trial, the condition of passage of which is the strength of the moral basis of the individual. For the immoral character, who is the central hero of the novel, Herman (a murderer who is not experiencing remorse and torment of conscience), the wind turned into a storm, carries the semantics of punishment (“frightening” wind, “murderous drafts”). The study revealed the use of Nabokov’s method of increasing gradation in the design of the wind motive, which accompanies Hermann’s doubts and moral throwing, turning into a storm at the moment of final despair. Stillness arises at the climax points of the plot (the murder of an imaginary double and Herman reading his own, which must justify, but expose his mediocrity, “story”). If Herman interprets windcalm as the indifference of being to human life, as the absence of God, then at the author’s level “silence of being” emphasizes Nabokov’s idea of free will: nature does not give signs and does not interfere with a person’s moral choice. The analysis of the wind motive made it possible to reveal, the Pushkin’s fairy tale “Skazka o Rybake i Rybke” / About the Fisherman and the Fish as a significant intertext of the novel; the final “Otchayaniye” (Despair) correlates with the outcome of the tale: the character who wished to become a “despot” not only of his own being, but also of the lives of others (to take the place of God), remained “by the broken washtub”. Conclusion. This study made it possible to expand the understanding of the intertextual connections of the novel by V. Nabokov, to clarify the author’s concept of crime and punishment. Keywords: Nabokov, Pushkin, literature of Russian emigration, wind / storm motive, intertextuality | 1854 | |||||
| 5020 | Introduction. Translation of scientific and technical literature is always connected with some difficulties associated with the grammar structure and terminological features. Technical translation must be carried out as accurately as possible, trying to convey the semantic meaning of the source in the best way. Stylistically this kind of translations should be logical and clearly stated. Material and methods. Each area of science is characterized by its own term system and microelectronics, being one of the fastest growing industries, in turn, undergoes constant updating of terminology. The dynamics of this industry global development has a significant impact on the formation of terms in microelectronics, which are characterized by a significant percentage of international words. The origin and approval of new terms is very dynamic compared to word formation in general vocabulary. The essence of the term included in special vocabulary is determined only by its content and is understandable to a narrow circle of specialists. It is generally accepted to subdivide terms into technical and general scientific ones. In some sources, common words are additionally separated from general scientific words. Being used in a specific field, general scientific terms often acquire a specific value specifically for this branch of science. Results and discussion. Consideration of some widespread examples of terms in the field of microelectronics allows us to conclude about their various meanings depending on the context, which must be taken into account, because the polysemy of the term can become an obstacle to the correct translation. In addition, the context will help to understand whether the word is used in a usual or special technical meaning, what is the specific meaning of a multi-valued term, and in the case of multicomponent context, it helps to omit uninformative components. The phenomenon of interference of terms from related fields to microelectronics is noted, which is associated with the rate of development of the industry, for which language tools often do not keep it. Special attention is paid to the use of metaphors as terms and the figurativeness of English terms in general is noted, in comparison with Russian ones, characterized by accuracy and laconism. A correct translation of a term is determined by its morphological structure, semantic features, types of terms, phrases, their structural features and specifics of use. From the morphological point of view, the most common at the moment are multicomponent phrases. Depending on the composition of the terms, phrases, they are divided into three types. For each type of phrase, specific examples are given. Conclusion. Consideration of the main issues of terminology in the field of microelectronics indicates that the composition of the terminology of a scientific text is characterized by the prevalence of commonly used words. Initially having several meanings, when used in a context, they acquire a specific meaning for a specific area. When considering morphological features, the superiority of terms-phrases is noted, in which, from a structural point of view, nouns and adjectives prevail as attribute elements. | 5031 | Introduction. The digital platform for the organization of modern broadcasting significantly transforms the principles of information and communication with the addressee. Material and methods. The subject of discussion in this article is the communicative ways of implementing personal radio discourse. Results and discussion. The focus is on the image of the radio host, which is formed at the intersection of the strategies of self-presentation and advertising of the radio site as an information resource. The functional potential of the interaction of communicative strategies is manifested in how the author identifies himself through a set of roles of professional and personal orientation. The specificity of the author’s role realization is examined through the description of the macrotext structure – the sociocultural and genre features of the Internet blog, which serves as a precedent form of broadcasting organization. The social network principle of radio functioning determines the basic parameter of its picture of the world – the individualization of the process of interaction with the addressee, the organization of the psycho-emotional environment of identity formation. Conclusion. The complex of interacting communicative strategies becomes the discursive mechanism that determines the variability of the author’s role-playing behavior – a discursive personality that manifests itself in the process of interactive communication, in the process of forming a discursive picture of the world as a world shared with the addressee, a comfortable psycho-emotional interaction environment. The students of Philology Department are studying this problem at the seminar “The Russian linguistic and discursive pictures of the world”. This problem is complicated, because in the modern linguistics there are no specific methods of interpretation. The modern text space is polycode (in this function) and dynamic (in the interaction of the author and the addressee) system, which is conditioned by the discourse. These factors determine the problem of the complex interpretation of the senses of the text, which demand the synthetic multi-disciplinary method. The examples are the works of the students, which use the traditional linguistic methods and new – sociometric and psycho-semantic – methods.
