Stas A.N., Kartashov D.V. BUILDING A TRAINING TECHNIQUE (BASED ON THE ALGORITHM OF VERIFICATION OF THE INCONSISTENCY OF THE SET OF DISJUNCTORS). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 12 (189). P. 184-187

The use of knowledge-based algorithms is one of the most relevant directions. Often these algorithms are referred to as intelligent. It is accepted to distinguish four main classes of such models: logical, productional, frame-based, and network. As we know, the use of any given models is driven by the tasks in hand. From this perspective, logical models have gained momentum. In particular, these models are often used in the creation of expert systems and the automation of proofs of theorems. This article discusses how to implement the validation algorithm for multiple disjuncts. An automatic grammar is used to describe the language of presenting the disjuncts, a resolution method to check their inconsistencies, and a depthfirst search to automate the OL-denial strategy. This algorithm can be used to automatically check provability or indefeasibility of theorems based on many axioms. The step-by-step detalization of this algorithm can be used as an additional tool for teaching the resolution method and searching the state space as well as the basics of the formal languages. The type of going around state space depends on the order of the points in the list OPEN. When searching in the first point’s depth to open it you select the point that is most remote from the intentional one. In this case, you can simplify the implementation of this method by applying a recursive subprogram.

Shchukov D.A. THE ECHO OF V. A. ZHUKOVSKY’S WORKS IN N. V. GOGOL’S STORIES “NEVSKY PROSPEKT”, “THE PORTRAIT”, “THE OVERCOAT”. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 4 (222). P. 107-120

Introduction. The creative heritage of N. V. Gogol to this day encourages many literary critics to productive studies. In particular, researchers are interested in the intertext of V. A. Zhukovsky in the works of the writer. When considering the works dedicated to the personality and creativity of Gogol, it is really difficult not to find a mention of this Russian poet, since he was important for Gogol’s creative consciousness. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to determine the degree of Gogol’s acquaintance with Zhukovsky’s work during the writing of the “Petersburg Stories”. It is also important to identify and analyze the motives, plots, allusions and reminiscences of Zhukovsky’s works in Gogol’s stories. This will help to see the peculiarities of Gogol’s mastering of the poet’s works, to identify the transformations that Zhukovsky’s discoveries used by him have undergone in Gogol’s artistic system. Material and methods. Since most of the references to Zhukovsky’s work are present in Gogol’s stories “Nevsky Prospekt”, “The Portrait” and “The Overcoat”, the study will be organized on the basis of them. Biographical and comparative research methods are used in the work. Results and discussion. In the story “Nevsky Prospekt”, the narrator describes a refined, creative nature. A similar type often appears in Zhukovsky’s lyrics. In addition, the features of Zhukovsky’s idyll are revealed in the description of the image of the stranger Piskarev met: simplicity is glorified in it and the hero’s desire for harmony and purity is obvious. You can also pay attention to the fact that the artist deifies the young person he met. Probably, in her image, the author tried to reflect the highest manifestation of female beauty on earth, which for Gogol-Christian, of course, was the Madonna. In this case, the feelings of the young man are similar to those described by Zhukovsky in the aesthetic manifesto “Raphael’s Madonna”. However, the beauty leads Piskarev to a brothel. His idealistic consciousness cannot admit that beauty and vulgarity can be synonymous. This correlates with the principles of kalokagatiya, which were common in the Russian literature of the Romantic era and were reflected in the works of Zhukovsky. Having failed to resolve the conflict between reality and dream, Piskarev resorts to opium sleep, which, replacing life for him, becomes one of the factors that led to the tragic denouement, because, seeing his personal paradise in a dream, the artist increasingly moves away from reality and, ultimately, loses the ability to real life. In the features of the story’s plot, one can see the transformation of the idyllic motifs of Zhukovsky’s works. Faced with reality, Piskarev loses his mind. Such a finale is correlated with the plots of ballads which were translated by Zhukovsky. In them evil tempts and lures the unfortunate victim into a trap, and then takes his / her life (“Der Taucher”, “Erlkönig”). Thus, beauty for Gogol is no longer a sign of good. He comes closer to understanding the true beauty and the false beauty of Zhukovsky’s balladeer, shows the fragility of harmony in the world. The novel “Portrait” is considered by some researchers as an aesthetic manifesto of Gogol. This also suggests following the traditions of Zhukovsky. In addition, the two-part structure of the story may refer to the architectonics of Zhukovsky’s story “The Twelve Sleeping Maidens”. Her two ballads “Gromoboi” and “Vadim” are also opposite in their ethics and have ideological similarities with Gogol’s story. In the work, one can also find plot echoes with such works of the poet as the ballads “Lyudmila” (Lyudmila’s grumbling at fate is similar to Chartkov’s behavior) and “Varvik” (the character’s sin also provokes the appearance of otherworldly forces, which is a kind of warning and test). It can also be mentioned that Zhukovsky’s rebel heroes, dissatisfied with their lot, as a rule, suffer a painful defeat and their soul goes to hell. Something similar is happening with Chartkov. As for the second part of the story, it also has common features with Zhukovsky’s manifesto “Raphael’s Madonna”, because Gogol’s icon painter creates a picture that literally “breathes” divine grace. In the story “The Overcoat”, humanistic and Christian motives are revealed. The main character does not expect a better fate, but humbly fulfills his official duties. Children’s enthusiasm and sincerity, coupled with a truly zealous service, turn him into a real ascetic. Bashmachkin’s purity and love for people, as well as his self-sacrifice, allow us to say that his behavior is akin to chivalry, which was characteristic of the main character of “Don Quixote of La Mancha”, the translator of which was Zhukovsky. However, having received “God’s mercy” in the form of a greatcoat, which could well personify a “beautiful lady”, Bashmachkin is no longer so zealously performing his service. The tragic ending of the work can be connected with this. Similar ethical laws apply in the art world of Zhukovsky. Nevertheless, after death, the official returns to true service: by returning in the form of a ghost (which is the image characteristic of Zhukovsky’s works) to a significant person and other high-ranking officials to pick up overcoats, he restores a certain balance in the world. Thus, the universal justice inherent in the artistic world of Zhukovsky is being actualized again. Conclusion. The “Petersburg period” of Gogol’s work is closely connected with Zhukovsky’s creative activity. Gogol gets acquainted with the poet’s lyrics and publicism, actively reflects on what he found in it. It is important to emphasize that Gogol directly assimilates the aesthetics and poetics of Zhukovsky, after which he reproduces certain aspects of the poet’s creativity in his works, subjecting them to his own creative processing, which in general contributed to the formation of the writer’s unique genius.

Arekeeva Y.E., Bednenko Y.I. Representation of the concept 人工智能 / artificial intelligence in the linguistic consciousness of Chinese native speakers. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2025. Issue 1 (237). P. 7-15

The article is devoted to the analysis of the associative-verbal field of the concept 人工智能 / artificial intelligence. The object of the study is the actualization of the concept 人工智能 / artificial intelligence in the consciousness of modern native Chinese speakers. The purpose of the study is to determine the key elements of the concept representation and model its associative-verbal field. The material of the study was the associates to the stimulus word 人工智能 / artificial intelligence, obtained as a result of a psycholinguistic experiment. The article uses the methods of free associative experiment, quantitative analysis, and classification technique. The study generalizes approaches to the concept 人工智能 / artificial intelligence and expands knowledge about its national and cultural features. The results of the study can be successfully applied in the process of teaching Russian and Chinese as foreign languages, in courses on psycholinguistics and cognitive lin-guistics, and also have practical value for all those interested in the culture of China. The associates obtained as a result of the free associative experiment are distributed among semantic modules based on the commonality of the features they express. Semantic modules, in turn, can include micromodules. The constructed model of the associative-verbal field of the concept under study includes the core, intermediate and peripheral layers, in which the most frequent reactions reflect a positive attitude towards the capabilities of artificial intelligence and represent the rapid pace of development, efficiency and continuous improvement of its technologies. As a result of the analysis of the model of the associative-verbal field of the concept 人工智能 / artificial intelligence, the structure of the meaning of this concept was revealed among representatives of various social groups, confirming their optimistic attitude towards the potential of artificial intelligence. The data of the associative experiment expand and complement the existing understanding of the representation of the concept 人工智能 / artificial intelligence in the mental lexicon of Chinese speakers; they must be taken into account when compiling explanatory dictionaries and dictionary entries.

Kafanova O.B. Russian George Sand: To the 200th Anniversary of Birthday. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2004. Issue 3 (40). P. 5-12

The article is devoted to the interesting phenomenon of Russian cultural life prevalent in the middle of the XIX century, received the name «georgesandism». This term means penetration of the ideas, characters, plots of George Sand’s novels into Russian culture, public consciousness and a love life. The French writer was perceived first of all as a destroyer of Christian and church ideas of «sanctity» and indestructibility of the marriage. The most debatable novels from the point of view of their plot and characters are considered. The early mythological image of George Sand as a «seducer», and «morally depraved person», which was created first of all by «masculine» reception in Russia of 1830’s, is investigated.

Mymrina D.F. The Functional-Semantic Analysis of the Khanty Case System. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 9 (60). P. 62-67

The case system of the Khanty language remains one of the unexplored domains of modern Finno-Ugric Philology. The problem here lies not only in the definition of the number of case endings in the Khanty case paradigm but also in the methods of giving a complete qualitative characteristic of the functions performed by the cases. The article is aimed at giving a full systematic description of the Khanty case system with a special emphasis on the meaning expressed by the case forms.

Boronenko T.S. THE USE OF MODIFIED HILL’S VARIABLES IN THE METHOD OF AVERAGING. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2011. Issue 8 (110). P. 53-56

In this paper the modified Hill’s canonical variables are introduced. They are v, G, H; r, g, h, where r is the distance to the primary for Keplerian orbit ; v = dr / dt; G= aј(1e2) and H = G cos i are Delaunay’s variables; g = Й is the argument of the periapsis; h = © is the longitude of the ascending node. We show that the modified Hill’s canonical variables are useful in some analytical theories of motion where it is need to avoid expansion of the perturbations in powers of eccentricity and where it is advantageous to use the eccentric anomaly as independent variable. As an example, we consider the single-averaged analytical model in the frame of the restricted three-body problem for satellite case.

Kruglova L.V., Babakina T.N., Kogut S.V. INTEGRATION OF PROJECT METHODOLOGY INTO THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF AN EDUCATIONAL ORGANISATION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 5 (223). P. 107-115

Introduction. Achieving qualitatively new results in the system of general education requires introducing more effective approaches to the management of the entire educational process and the specific educational organization. As a tool for the development of an educational institution, this paper considers the methodology of project management which allows, in a vertically built management system of an educational organization, expansion of its horizontal branches to achieve more active involvement of teachers in co-management. Aim and objectives. The aim of the article is to describe a model for project methodology integration into the school administration system based on the technology of management of ethnocultural projects in an educational organization. Materials and methods. The authors rely on scientific works in the field of project management and project management in education and several regulatory documents relevant to this area. The synthesis of data obtained by the documentary analysis of scientific literature and the experience of the educational organization enabled the authors to show the specifics of including project management in the project management system in the educational sphere and reveal its potential for the development of educational systems in general. Results and discussion. A comparative analysis of system models for managing an educational organization has shown the significant advantage of flexible management systems due to their “adaptability” to changes in the external environment and more efficient management of the internal environment. The optimal management has a matrix structure. It is focused on the development of interaction between different services. Pronounced horizontal lines in the management model, while maintaining vertical integration, allow timely and organic regulation of processes at various levels. In this study, the experience of inclusion of project management in the linear-functional model of school management is analyzed, using as an example, ethnocultural projects of the MBEI (municipal budget educational institution) pre-gymnasium “Kristina” in the city of Tomsk. Conclusion. The proposed model of project management in an educational organization can be applied in any educational organization. The reliability of scientific results and the validity of the conclusions of this study are informed by modern achievements of research knowledge, as well as positive practical experience of introducing the elements of a flexible management system into the activities of the specific educational organization.

Petrochenko L.A. THE FUNCTIONAL-SEMANTIC FIELD OF DEATH AS A EUPHEMISTIC PHENOMENON. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 76-79

The article deals with the peculiarities of the use of euphemisms and dysphemisms belonging to the functionalsemantic field of death. Euphemisms became important bricks in the walls people have built to keep the dead from making them uncomfortable. The most fertile ground for euphemizing is one where open discussion of a topic is taboo. So it was with sex in the Victorian era, and so it became with death after World War II. Postwar advice books counseled parents to avoid talking about this subject with their children. Having done their best to avoid anything connected with the dying and dead, English-speaking communities replaced associated expressions considered too direct with soothing alternatives. The words ‘passed away’, or simply ‘passed’, and ‘gone’ are the most prevalent synonyms for ‘died’. Much has been written on the psychology of denying imminent death. Euphemisms clearly have an important role to play in this denial process. Growing interest in death and dying during recent decades, supported by several publications on the subject, suggests a certain willingness to face the topic squarely in print. This willingness, however, is not reflected in everyday discourse which can be proved by mass literature contexts. In addition to euphemisms there exist various dysphemisms and slang words. Like euphemisms, dysphemisms are motivated by fear and distaste, but also by hatred and contempt. Slang expressions and dysphemistic terms of insult or disrespect should be avoided in speech and teaching a language.

Kabanina O.L. LEXICAL REGULATIVE UNIVERSALS: COMMUNICATIVE AND COGNITIVE ASPECTS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 4 (193). P. 41-45

The article is devoted to the development of the concept of lexical regulative universal (LRU), which is in line with the communicative stylistics of the text, namely the theory of regulativity, taking into account the fundamental principles of cognitive linguistics – actively developing scientific direction. Under «universals» are understood not only universal laws and principles of structuring the text, but also «universal thinking». Lexical regulatory universal is considered in comparison with other notions of communicative stylistics: communicative universals, media communicative universals, cognitive style. Under the lexical regulatory universal is understood a verbal embodiment of the way of the author’s thinking and the way of his interactions with the addressee, in characteristic for the author means and methods of lexical regulativity. One of the key features of LRU is the choice of the author of the means and methods of regulativity from the point of view of manifestation of cognitive mechanisms that are universal for a specific poetic language personality, «standing» behind the text. Regulatory lexical universals reflect ways of knowing and interaction of the author with the surrounding world. Regulatory lexical universals can partly be changed / maintained over the entire work of the author, that allows to speak not only about the dynamics of his conceptual and poetic pictures of the world, but also about the development of his thinking.

Tchernyavskaya Y.O., Tubolztceva D.E. ART ORIGINALITY OF “HORROR STORIES” BY RONSHIN. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 6 (203). P. 77-86

Introduction. Valery Ronshin’s works belong to the phenomenon of the two-address literature, i.e. they are focused on children’s and adult audiences and contain considerable pedagogical potential by actualizing important moral and ethical problems for the education of teenagers and children. On the other hand, the simplified form of narration that does not require reader’s considerable intelligent efforts, as well as the use of devices of the popular literature show the author’s attempt to entertain, amuse the reader. The aim of the work is to analyse Ronshin’s “horror stories” and to prove that his works concern popular literature. Material and methods. The material of the research is the works by Ronshin written in the genre of “horror story” (by the author’s definition). In the paper, the methods of comparative and motive the analysis are used. As a theoretical base, the works of Russian literary critics were used: E. M. Meletinsky, M. A. Chernyak, O. N. Grechina, M. V. Osorina, E. A. Polevaya, A. I. Kulyapin. Results and discussion. Valery Ronshin uses images, motives, genres of traditional folklore (a horror story, a fairy tale, a joke, sadistic rhymes) that are familiar to each reader since childhood. In such a way, the author accomplishes, firstly, the effect of the recognition facilitating the reader perception of similar works, secondly, the task to entertain is realized. In spite of the fact that Ronshin’s books are focused on the children’s audience, which is shown by a colourful cover, illustrations in “naïve” or children’s style, the use of traditional children’s folklore genres, his works are addressed to the adult audience as they contain the elements of black humour, the comic devices that are aimed at adults (alogism, devices of discrepancy of the used means, discrepancies of hero’s behaviour to the circumstances, invectives), elements of physiologism. The central problem of the analyzed works is a pedagogical incapacity of parents, unreadiness to the dialogue with children. Conclusion. Valery Ronshin creates works actualizing important educational problems, uses formulas and devices of folklore genres with the purpose to amuse, entertain the reader. His stories should be attributed to the phenomenon of popular literature that inherently aimed at entertainment, escapism, the use of traditional plots and genres.

Kuzub A.V. J. BRODSKY’S ENGLISH POETRY IN ENGLISH CRITICS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 5 (211). P. 181-191

Introduction. The article focuses on different statements concerning Joseph Brodsky’s original English poetry made by English and American critics, poets and translators. Aim and objectives. The paper aims to classify, systematize and critically value those statements, which can be described as occasional and unsystematic. Material and methods. The research is based on statements concerning Brodsky’s original English poetical works made by foreign English-speaking philologists, critics and poets. All the statements are found in variety of different interviews and books dedicated to Brodsky’s life and work. The methods used in the research are as follows: frontal analysis and content analysis, comparative method. Results and discussion. Brodsky’s English verses are yet to be studied as for researchers neglect such an important component of Brodsky’s works, which however is to help construct the whole picture of one’s esthetic thinking to its logical whole. As long as philologists traditionally concentrate on Brodsky’s Russian verses, English essays and (self) translations, this paper addresses Brodsky’s original English poetry as a phenomenon craving for deeper scientific understanding. The article brings the light on the reasons determined Brodsky’s turn toward English which can be divided into three groups: esthetic, utilitarian and linguistic ones. Brodsky’s attitude towards his own English verses was complicated. Creating original English poetical texts was like so-called play in versification and prosody with the using of new linguistic tools. He admitted in English prosody ability of rhyming short English lexical elements in broad variety of possible combinations, using impossible in Russian rhythmical and syntactic structures, experimenting with prosody. The paper provides review of statements addressing Brodsky’s original English poetry. All the statements are divided into groups according to geographical, linguistic and professional areas of the authors they were made by. The majority of studying statements are occasional and unsystematic, united however with some same features. Even supporters of Brodsky’s English poetry were forced to mention a bunch of imperfections in Brodsky’s English, stylistic mistakes and too Russian being of his English verses. One of the main grievance about Brodsky’s English verses is his incorrect using of English idiomatic elements. Many underline interferential and interconditional nature of English and Russian languages in Brodsky’s verses. Some consider this feature to be unacceptable, others as a unique style of bilingual author. Conclusion. Finally the article concludes that Joseph Brodsky was a two-cultured and two-language representative: Russian and English. Despite all the deviation in opinion of critics, poets and translators, the majority of them focus solemnly on linguistic level of Brodsky’s English verses. It’s worth noticing the lack of esthetic interpretation of Brodsky’s English poetry. The upcoming research can provide an answer to a question: does Brodsky’s world view remain the same in his English poetry or did it change subsequent to the language?

Eflova Z.B. MODERN RURAL SCHOOL OF FINLAND: NOTES FROM THEORY AND PRACTICE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 6 (212). P. 39-45

Introduction. A comparative study of the theory and practice of education in Finland is due to the natural interest of researchers in the experience of countries that hold leading positions in international educational monitoring, where the Finnish system shows consistently high results. The focus of the analysis is education implemented in rural areas, the features of the activity of a rural school, the specifics of the professional activity of a rural teacher. Materials and methods. The material for the analysis was the research of Finnish scientists and specialists in the field of education, the experience of international Russian-Finnish educational projects. Results and discussion. The theory and practice of the development of education in Finland is of interest for Russian scientists and practitioners, and for researchers of the Republic of Karelia, especially, since the similarity of both territories in terms of geographical, natural-climatic, ethnocultural, demographic and other indicators is obvious. In both territories, rural schools represent a significant part of the general education system. Conclusion. Analysis of the works of Finnish and Russian scientists made it possible to: fix the coincidence of the positions of researchers regarding the peculiarities of the rural school and the specifics of the work of a rural teacher, the relevance of the socio-cultural approach to the modernization of education in rural areas, as well as the need for targeted training and support for the professional formation and development of a rural teacher in the paradigm of lifelong education ; to identify common approaches to substantiating such ways of preserving and developing a small school such as creating a socio-cultural center, transforming a school into a service center for a rural settlement (according to E. Aim and objectives. To substantiate the effectiveness of using the model of tutor support for students in the educational process of the secondary vocational education system. Material and methods. The article uses the data of the selective federal statistical observation of the employment of graduates who have received secondary vocational and higher education. A survey of students, graduating groups of the institution of secondary vocational education. Theoretical research methods were used; empirical methods: analysis and conversation. Results and discussion. The modern world is an environment of global instability and dynamic changes in all spheres. Therefore, potential employers highly value not only the professional qualities of their employees, but also social and psychological qualities (Softskills): communication, leadership, team, entrepreneurial skills. Employers note the lack of Softskills competencies among graduates of educational institutions: weak motivation and inconsistency of personal qualities (self-organization, motivation, initiative, responsibility, desire to learn) Among the most significant characteristics, graduates of the secondary vocational education system named: motivation; experience; general impression; professional competencies; ability to learn; IT-competence. According to the results of introspection, they also tended to give a low assessment of their level of development. And they expressed an opinion about the need to pay more attention to the development of personal competencies in the learning process; skills that will allow them to be competitive in the labor market, such as communication skills, personality marketing, time management, etc. In order to solve the basic problem of secondary vocational education: the intellectual, cultural and professional development of a person and the training of qualified workers or employees and mid-level specialists in all main areas of socially useful activity in accordance with the needs of society and the state, as well as meeting the needs of the individual in deepening and expanding education. The feasibility of introducing tutor support into the educational process is considered. The tutor plays the role of a consultant, teacher, psychologist, coordinator. On the basis of individual educational routes, the tutor achieves the formation of a harmonious, socially responsible personality of the student, focused on self-development and self-realization. In the model of tutor support, training is built taking into account the individual characteristics of each student, which allows him to maximize his potential. Conclusion. The model of tutor support should be considered one of the most promising. First, a tutor is a psychologist who helps a student to understand his inner problems, motives, desires, abilities; understand resources and limitations. Achieve a balance of desires and possibilities. Secondly, a tutor as a teacher teaches (forms the ability) independence: to set goals and objectives; identify opportunities and resources; develops the ability to act and the willingness to take responsibility for the decisions made. The third most important component: a tutor is an educator who builds the correct attitude to the world around him and himself; preservation of national identity, respect for the native language, culture and patriotism. The fourth vector of a tutor’s work is career guidance work. The development and movement along an individual learning path requires the tutor to be competent in the field of professional training of his ward.
