The article considers the issue of securing of quality of university specialist training in accordance with state educational standards. Systemic statistical control over academic activities is used as a means ensuring the university transition from orientation on final result control to the concept of identification and prevention of deficiencies in specialist training. Statistical control is understood as adjustment of the parameters of academic activities based on the results of random statistical testing of student proficiency. Shewhart control charts, Pareto charts, synchronic and diachronic analysis of results obtained in the course of student assessment, have been used as major methods. Application of statistical control methods facilitates feedback in academic activities, changes and improvement of management and process control. The paper presents methods of statistical control over academic activities and experience of its application at universities to provide and support the required level of specialist training quality.

This paper presents an investigation of the discourse markers, the analysis of which is based on the data of the magazines in Russian and English, such as FUEL, Oil and Gas, Drilling and Oil, Oil and Gas Business. The work gains currency because of the increased interest in the field of the functioning of the discourse markers – the lingual units, which play a major role in the formation of a coherent discourse. The study shows the differences in the distribution of the discourse markers in Russian and English papers on Geology, Oil and Gas Industry. The given article is devoted to the issues of teaching the scientific style of oral speech at a technical university. Based on many years of experience of working with student, graduate students, postgraduate students of Tomsk Polytechnic University, the authors propose the universal (independent of the scientific direction of students) content and form of teaching the scientific style of oral speech at the university. It is recommended to include the following topics to the course content of oral scientific speech: “The report as a genre of oral scientific speech”, “Elocution”, “The structure of the presentation of a scientific report”, “Presentation of a scientific report”, “Rules for scientific debate”. The fluorescen properties of polyethylene photoluminescent films connected with injecting to their composition of photoluminophor on the basis of linkings of europium in excitation of UV by radiation of the sun are investigated. For the first time experimental measurement of rates of fluorescent radiation of a photoluminescent film at its exploitation in natural conditions are carried out. The maximum values of fluorescence intensity of films in investigated conditions make near to 8 mW/m2, average day from 0.5 to 2 mW/m2. For the first time the received results have allowed to make a quantitative estimation of fluorescent radiation intensity of photoluminescent films at effective cultivation under them plants in natural conditions. Reproducing of such indices can allow transferring effect studying to controllable laboratory conditions.

The purpose of the presented publication is to show interference of the culture of Renaissance and imperouslypolitical sphere in France and Germany, referring to the materials of Russian and intrenational historiography. The contribution of the feudal elite and especially of the governors of the specified countries to the formation of the Renaissance there is analyzed (French king, German emperor and German territorial dukes). The political problems which were solved by the authority by means of new forms of architecture and literature, specificity of court culture of the epoch, the Renaissance type of the person of some representatives of the nobility are considered. The theoretical importance of the analysis of the historiographic material in the culture of the Renaissance and the humanism presented from positions of “new political history” consists in the revision of the estimation of the cultural role of the European elites of the Middle Ages and an early modern. A distinctive feature of contemporary linguistic research is its engagement with language actualization processes. This point finds its foundation in F. de Saussure’s conception distinguishing language, speech and speech activity which has given rise to various new trends with the purpose of exposing and examining the sense generating mechanisms of language in work. Analytical perspectives comprise a diversity of problems including the psychology of perception, interpretation and assessment of various phenomena, conventions of societal structures and communication modi. This originates a new interdisciplinary problem-solving plane with a new subject termed “discourse”. The phenomenon complexity and, consequently, the multiplicity of qualification and classification criteria bring forth a discord in the term (as well as the phenomenon) interpretation. There springs up a necessity to define its (the term and the phenomenon) status, correlations with other objects of linguistic analysis, such as text, genre, register. In the chronic experiment on rats was showed a toxic effect of ultradispersive powder (UDP) for piezoceramics on pulmonary tissue. The complex of structural changes of pulmonary tissue that include appearances of productive inflammation with outlet to sclerosis and collection of compensatory-adaptive reactions has been found. On the whole it is confirm a presence protracted toxic exogenerative nature effect. In the article the regularity of semantic derivations and origin of such category of words as adjectives, negative particles, pronouns, and postpositions in Selkup are given. The research is based on the names of mythic ancestors worshiped by the members of the Selkup nation. Morphemic division of the lexemes let define their possible initial meaning. The fact that the names of mythic ancestors are tabooed led to the process of euphemisation.

In this article «A Writer's Dairy» is analyzed as the unique example of representation of F. M. Dostoevsky's existential experience. The events of author's private life, comprehension of vast layers of human being experience and its social, psychological features acquire universal character and become the part of an extra personal whole. The content of «A Writer's Dairy» by Dostoevsky is focused on the basic concept «victim», which enables the victimological discourse of the text. The legitimacy of victimological discourse distinguishing is confirmed by the analysis of genre features (synthesis of dairy, confessionary and publicistic principles, «genre of public confession», «publicistic cycle»), macrostructure of the text (dividing on chapters, use of insert texts), aspect consideration each chapter unity (thematic, referential, eventual, timely).
