In the composition of communities of testate amoebae (Amoebozoa, Rhizaria) from the sediments of the shores of lakes and river Tom of Tomsk territory found 27 species and subspecies. Characteristic elements of the fauna are eurytopic species with wide geographical distribution: Arcella discoides difficilis Deflandre, Centropyxis discoides (Penard) Deflandre, Difflugia bidens Penard, Difflugia corona Wallich., Difflugia schurmanni van Oye. The diversity of species in each habitat ranges from 6 (Sennaya Kuria) to 13 (Boyarskoe Lake, the Tom River) species per sample. The density of organisms did not exceed 2,000 speciments/m 2. Changes in the diversity of the amoebae community in Sennaja Kuria are considered as a result of mechanical cleaning of the bed of the lake produced in 2012–2013.

The review summarizes literary data on a problem of alcohol dependence among various ethnic groups of Russia and the world. The results of studies show the significant influence of ethnicity on the development of alcoholdependent behavior. Special attention is paid to studies of the characteristics of alcohol consumption by indigenous people of the Far North of Russia. The paper analyses the preconditions to the formation of alcohol dependence among ethnic groups in Northern populations. Acculturation and acculturative stress are designated as conditions conducive to the development of alcohol dependence among representatives of native populations. Ethno-culturally competence is identified as the main characteristics of the strategy for the treatment and prevention of substance use disorders among different ethnic groups.

The phraseological meaning is a specific semantic category, characterized by an integral transference of meaning based fully or partially on the meanings of the components of the unit. This results in its complex structure which is of special scientific interest. The article focuses on the components of the phraseological meaning, states their specific features and correlation and offers the methodology of semantic analysis. It is a multistep process that considers all the constituents of the phraseological meaning: motivation, imagery component, inner form, denotative component, connotation and cultural component (studied by A. V. Kunin, V. N. Teliya, N. F. Alefirenko and others). The inner form reveals the way the phraseological meaning is formed and creates phraseological imagery. Motivation is a means of expressing the inner form. Metaphorical, metonymical or metaphtonymical transference of meaning forms the inner form of the unit. Phraseological semantics includes the grammatical meaning and the phraseological meaning proper. We single out several structural models of the latter, based on a number of combinations of the denotative macrocomponent (its identifying and characterizing parts) and stylistic, intensive, emotional and/or evaluative components of connotation. The cultural component can be a part of either denotation or connotation or both. The results can be applied in studying semantic peculiarities of different groups of phraseological units, with reference to their national specificity.

Pletneva Lyudmila Mikhailovna WHETSTONES OF THE EARLY IRON AGE FROM TWO MUSEUMS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 9 (186). P. 66-77

The author of the paper collected information about 60 whetstones originating from monuments of Early Iron Age cultures in the Southern Urals, Western Siberia, Altai, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Southern Siberia. For the first time, based on the collected materials, a classification scheme of whetstones was developed on the basis of such attributes as shapes of face and back sides, section (only for Group 4), top and bottom designs of whetstones. Four groups with subgroups and variants were singled out. Whetstones from the Tomsk Ob Region and the Khakas-Minusinsk Basin stored in two museums (Museum of Siberian Archaeology and Ethnography, Tomsk State University, and the Seversk Museum) were introduced in this scheme. The occurrence of specific shapes of whetstones in archaeological cultures of the Southern Urals, Western Siberia, Altai, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Southern Siberia was analyzed. It was revealed that whetstones of Group 1 were most common. Trapezoidal and oval whetstones occur frequently as well. Rod-shaped whetstones are the least frequent. The latter ones, along with whetstones of the second subgroup of Group 1, have better shapes and are carefully polished. Some whetstones were examined using an electron microscope in order to ascertain whether they had been used as household articles and touchstones. The results of the examination were negative. In terms of purpose, whetstones originating from graves were most likely to be used as objects of worship / prestige value.

The biographic sense of I. A. Bunin’s poem “Canary” (1921) is reconstructed in the article. The communicative status and “parallel” reading of the poem and documentary prose (memoirs, letters, etc.) have specified Bunin in the interference of two stories – a singing canary and a poet-emigrant. The author’s relation to the events, which have occurred in Russia of 1917, through the latent communication of the latter with “wonderful island” and Atlantis, comes to light. The research of “the canary text” of this period allows us involving Bunin into the context of recreated literary dialogue.

The method of substrate-induced respiration studied the dynamics of the rate of basal respiration, microbial biomass and metabolic quotient peat deposits oligotrophic bog (north-eastern part of the Vasyugan bog). This article analyzes the process of formation of the Russian scientific and pedagogical school at Professorial Institute of Dorpat. The author deals with the concept “scientific and pedagogical school” in the historical context of the first half of the 19th century as a special system of professors’ training for Russian universities. A special attention is paid to research activities of students of Professorial Institute, development of their skills of independent work and organization forms of practical training with students. The content of this training included both mastering the basics of research activities under the guidance of experienced mentor-professors, diving into it, and mastering effective forms of teaching their science, methods of initiation of students to it and developing their interest to scientific and pedagogical activities, desire to be engaged in it. Significant place in the article is devoted to the analysis of successive links in the chain of mentors-professors – Professorial Institute’ graduates – their students.

Main characteristics and sorbtional properties of polymeric fiberous materials made of thermoplastic wastages have been studied. It is established that the highest abilities of filtering oil-products is reached with proportions between a product and filter masses of: 6.0 through 9.31 for raw oil, 6.0 through 13.0 for oil type И-20, and 3.5 through 9.95 for diesel oil. They are dominating widely used filtering materials such as sul-focarbon and activated carbon. Regeneretion of fiber-ous sorbents is made by centrifugeing with separation factor equal to 100. Sorbtion capacity decreases no more than 20% after 50 regeneration cycles.

The results of the infrared reflectivity measurements comparatively performed on the oxygen-chain-equal¬ized polycrystalline pair-samples of YBa2Cu30B4,x, are reported. The samples were prepared from the full/ empty oxygen-chain [Cu,OJ^/[Cu,0stoichiome-try end terms which where for a long time equilibrated under vacuum at a low temperature and were order-stabilized in the appropriate temperature-composition domain of existence of Oil and OIII superstructures. The single crystal IR-active phonon modes were ex¬tracted from the reflectivity data for the ceramic sam¬ples in the generalized effective medium approxima¬tion for the frequency-dependent dielectric permittivi¬ty. Then the fitted values of c-oriented IR-active pho¬non frequencies were interpreted within the framework of a lattice-dynamics transferable shell-model. The evidences of a phonon reconstruction related to the existence of the high-ordered oxygen-vacancy order¬ing superstructures OII and OIII in the oxygen-chain-equalized polycrystalline pair-samples of YBa2Cu306 are given.

Gippius poetic texts in the aspect of communicative stylistics trend – the regulative theory which studies lexical means of harmonization of reader and author’s creative dialogue. One of the ways of making reader’s cognitive activity efficient and one of the types of word-figurative text structuring is associative-figurative series. Its structure includes figurative and expressive means (regulative means) which make a reader pay attention to so called «main features» of text and assist reader in adequate text interpretation.

The article discusses the problems that are connected with the revision of epistemological principals in the contemporary philosophy.
